Abstract: This research is based on the low of students math achievement at grade VII-7 Junior High School 21 Pekanbaru in even semester the academic years 2013/2014. It can be seen from achievement of Mastery Minimum Criteria for set lesson, only 12 students (30%) by learning process conducted teacher-centered (conventional). The research was classroom action research to improve learning process and improve students math achievement by implementing Quiz Team strategy in cooperative learning. The research subject as much as 40 students, consist of 20 male and 20 female. The research consist of two cycles and at the end of every cycle carried out math test. The instruments of data collecting are observation sheets and math achievement tests. The data of observation were analyzed in narrative descriptive and the data of math achievement were analyzed in descriptive statistical. The result of narrative descriptive analysis showed that there is the improvement of learning process after the action on the first and second cycles. The result of research showed that there is an increase percentage amount students from base core to math test I, that is 30% until 50% as much as 20% and from math test I to math test II, that is 50% until 80% as much as 30%. The conclution: the implementation Quiz Team strategi in cooperative learning could improve learning process and improve student’s math achievements at grade VII-7 Junior High School 21 Pekanbaru in even semester the academic years 2013/2014. Abstract : This research was using class action research. This research aims to fixed the process of learning and improve learning result in mathematics in grade VIIA of SMP Beer Seba Pekanbaru by applying the Discovery Learning model. The subject of this research were the students in the class VIIA of SMP Beer Seba Pekanbaru that consist of 16 boys and 11 girls at the second semester of academic year 2018/2019. During the learning process, there is a problem of learning that is still focused on the teacher so that students can not find the concept of learning. To solve this problem requires a learning model where students can actively discover their own learning concepts. The instruments of data collection in this research were observation sheets and students mathematics tests. The observation sheets were analyzed in desciptive narative, meanwhile the studentsâ€™ mathematic tests were analyzed in statistic desciptive. Based on the analysis showed that an improvement of learning process prior to the action on the first and second cycles and improve the studentsâ€™ in the second semester academic years 2018/2019. Based on the result of research, the implementation of discovery learning methods can fix the learning process and improving studentâ€™s achievement of learning mathematisc in grade VIIA of SMP Beer Seba Pekanbaru.Key Words : Studentsâ€™ Math Achievement, Discovery Learning Model, Clasroom Action Research.

Abstract: This research aims to improve the learning process and increase the student?s mathematics learning outcomes through the implementation of the Think-Talk-Write Strategy in Cooperative Learning. This type of research is the Classroom Action Research with two cycle. The research was conducted in class X MIA SMA Nurul Falah Pekanbaru in the second semester of the 2018/2019 academic year with the subject of as many as 16 students, consist of 5 boys and 11 girls. The research instrument consists of learning devices and instrument data collectors. Learning device used in this research is the Syllabus, Lesson Plan and Worksheet. The instrument data collector used in this research is the observation sheet and math achievement test. Data analysis technique used is descriptive statistical analysis. Based on the result of the research showed that implementation of learning process on cycle II had happened improvement from implementation on cycle I. Weakness on cycle I is improved on implementation cycle II according with planning of improvement after reflection cycle I. Number of students that reach Minimum Mastery Criteria increase from basic score to daily test II. The number of students who reach Minimum Mastery Criteria on basic scor, daily test I and daily test II are respectively 6 person (37,5%), 8 person (50%) and 12 person (75%). Results of this research indicates that application of the Think-Talk-Write Strategy in Cooperative Learning can improve learning process and increase mathematics learning outcomes from the students at class X MIA SMA Nurul Falah Pekanbaru in the second semester academic years 2018/2019 in matery of Trigonometry.Key Words: Cooperative Learning, Think Talk Write Strategy, Learning Process, Student?s Mathematics Learning Outcomes, Classroom Action Research.

Abstract: This research aims to improve the learning process and improve the student’s mathematics learning outcomes through the implementation of Cooperative Learning with Think Pair Square Approach. The type of research is the Classroom Action Research with two cycles. The research was conducted in studentof grade VII3 SMP N 32 Pekanbaru in the second semester of the 2015/2016 academic year with the subject of as many as 41 students. The research instrument are consists of learning devices and instrument data collectors. Learning device used in this research are consists of the Syllabus, Lesson plan and Student work sheet. The instrument data collector used in this research is consists of the observation sheet and math test. Technique of data analysis is analysis of narrative descriptive and analysis of statistical descriptive. Based on the result of the research show that, the learning process has improved and the student’s mathematics learning outcomes have improved after applying the Cooperative Learning with Think Pair Square Approach. The Cooperative Learning with Think Pair Square Approach can be used as an alternative in learning, because it can improve the learning process and improve the students learning outcomes.Keywords: Cooperative Learning, Think Pair Square Approach, learning process, students learning outcomes

Abstract: This research caused by the low ability of mathematical understandingâ€™s students in junior high school 1 sungai aur. The aim of study was to count improvement of mathematical understandingâ€™s students ability through discovery learning model The research method was experimental study with non equivalen pretest and posttest control group design. The population of this study was all of the students from grade junior high school 1 Sungai Aur. The subject was divided into two groups, 8th-7 as experiment group and 8th-6 as control group.. The research instruments was essay questions mathematical understanding ability. The result shown that mathematical understandingâ€™s students through discovery learning model which is classified as moderate. In other way, the mathematical understandingâ€™s student through convensional model has means classified as low. As a conclude, mathematical understandingâ€™s students through discovery learning was better than the conventional one.Key Words: Discovery Learning, Mathematical Understanding Ability.

Abstract: This research is classroom action research which aims to improve the learning process and the result of learning mathematics by applying discovery learning. The subject of this research is student of class VII2 SMPN 42 Pekanbaru in academic years 2018/2019, which amounted to 43 students. Instruments on this reserach constisted of syllabus, lesson plans and worksheets, and instruments of data collection which is observation sheets and the test result sheets. The function of observation sheet is to obtain data from the learning process, while the function of results sheet of the mathematics learning tests is to obtain the results of the study. The data obtained are then analyzed by the technique of analyzing the data of teacher and student activities as well as data analysis of student mathematics learning outcomes. The descriptive of observation sheets through the stage of data reduction, data exposure and inference and students’ mathematic tests showed an improvement of learning process prior to the action on the first and second cycles and improve the students’ achievement of learning mathematic. On the knowledge competence, from the basic score of 11 students or 25,58% increased to 20 students or 46,51% in the first cycle and increased to 32 students or 74,42% in Cycle II. On the skills competence, the number of students who reach the minimum criteria of mastery learning the basic score of 11 students or 25,58% increased to 19 students or 44,18% in the first cycle and increased to 12 students or 72,09% in Cycle II. The results of this analysis indicate that the implementation of discovery learning can improve the learning achievement students of class VII2 SMPN 42 Pekanbaru academic year 2018/2019.Key Words : The outcomes of mathematics learning, Discovery Learning, class action research

Abstract: This research aims to improve and the student’s mathematics learning outcomes through implementation of Problem Based Learning (PBL) Model. This type of research is Classroom Action Research with two cycle. The research was conducted in class VIIA SMP Negeri 1 Logas Tanah Darat in the odd semester of the academic year 2018/2019. The subject of this research consist of 22 students. The research instrument consists of learning materials used include Syllabus, Lesson Plan and Student Activity Sheets and instruments for collecting data are observation sheets and test of mathematics learning outcomes. Data analysis techniques in this study are descriptive narrative analysis and descriptive statistics analysis. The percentage and frequency of students who achieved minimum completeness criteria is increased from the basic score are 8 students with percentage 36,36% to cycle I are 12 students with percentage 54,55% and from cycle I to cycle II are 19 students with percentage 86,36%.. This research concludes that the implementation of PBL model improved the student’s mathematics learning out comes at class VII6 SMP Negeri 1 Logas Tanah Darat in the odd semester of the academic year 2018/2019 in construction material.Key Words: Problem Based Learning model, Mathematics Learning Outcomes

The type of research is the Classroom Action Research with two cycles. The research was conducted in student of grade VIII4 SMP N 17 Pekanbaru in the first semester of the academic year 2016/2017 with the subject of as many as 38 students. The research instrument are consists of learning devices and instrument data collectors. Learning device used in this research are consists of the Syllabus, Lesson plan and Student work sheet. The instrument data collector used in this research is consists of the observation sheet and math test. Technique of data analysis is analysis of narrative descriptive and analysis of statistical descriptive. Based on the result of the research show that, there have been improvements on the learning proses and improvement on the student?s mathematics learning outcomes after applying the Strategy of Authentic Learning. Mathematical communication ability (MCA) has not been developed well, expected to beachieved through generative learning (GL). The study was quasi experiment with Postest Control GroupDesign, aims to assess student’s achievement of MCA, the subject was students of grade X of twoPublic Senior High School (upper and middle level), and one Private Senior High School (lower level)in Pekanbaru with a set of test instruments MCA. The Data were analyzed by t-test and one-wayAnova. The results of study show that achievement of average students’ of MCA as a whole throughGL 13.08 (59.45%), conventional learning (CVL) 11.11 (50.50%); upper school level through GL14.70 (66.82%), CVL 13.03 (59.23%); middle school level through GL 13.38 (60.82%), CVL 10.34(47%); and lower school level through GL 11.13 (50.59%), CVL 9.90 (45%); on high mathematicalprior knowledge (MPK) through GL 13.48 (61.27%), CVL 11 (50%); middle MPK through GL13.09 (59.50%), CVL 11.56 (52.55%); and lower MPK through GL 12.64 (57.45%), CVL 10.40(47.27%). Conclusion: the achievement of average students’ of MCA through GL was higher thanCVL; but as a whole, based on school level, or MPK group were middle.Keywords: achievement, mathematical communication ability, generative learning

Abstract: This research is based on the results of observations and interviews conducted by researchers in schools on learning tools used by teachers who do not show learning activities that involve students directly in finding and applying mathematical concepts in accordance with the demands of the 2013 curriculum. Therefore, the researcher develops the learning tools of mathematics in the form of syllabus, the learning implementation plan and the student worksheet based on discovery learning model with valid and practical for curved face three dimensional objects topic. This research and development use development model ADDIE. The steps of this research and development are need analysis, collect the reference, design the learning tools of mathematic, develop the learning tools of mathematic, validated by three validators and further revised based on the input from validators. The revised is test to small group consist of nine students of class IX SMP Negeri 1 Pekanbaru. The result of data analysis from the developed mathematics learning tools shows the average of syllabus valisation is 2.96, the average validation of the learning implementation plan is 3.34, the average validation of the student worksheet is 3.25, and the practical level of the student worksheet is 83.23 %. Based on the analysis of data and discussion can be concluded that learning tools developed in the form of syllabus, the learning implementation plan and the student worksheet have been assessed valid after through the validation process and the student worksheet are developed also have qualified practicality for students use class IX after going through the test phase.Key words: Learning Tools of Mathematic, Development, Discovery Learning Models, Curved Face Three Dimensional Objects
