Abstract

Abstract: This research based on the students’ mathematics achievement at class VIII.2 SMPN 4 Tapung, there are 24 students in the class, only 9 students who achieved the passing grade by the percentage 37,5% on the main discussion about relevancy with teorema pythagoras and then the learning process still teacher center. The research is classroom action research. This aims research to increase learning process and students’ math achievement at class VIII.2 SMPN 4 Tapung through the implentation cooperative learning model of structural Two Stay Two Stray. The subject of the research are 24 students from class VIII.2 SMPN 4 tapung consist of 14 male and 10 famale students with the heterogenous level. Instrument to collect the data are observation and mathematics achivement test. The observation data analyzed by using descriptive and qualitative, and for students’ test by using descriptive and quantitative. The qualitative analysis showed an improvement of learning process prior to action to the first cycle and second cycle. The results of this research showed an increase in students achievement from the based-score with the percentage 29.16%to 45.83% on the first test and 70.83% on the second test. Based on the finding can be concluded that the implentation of cooperative learning model of structural approach Two Stay Two Stray to improve students’ mathematics achievement at class VIII.2 SMPN 4 Tapung in the second semester academic years 2013/2014. Abstract

Abstract: This research was classroom action research that aims to improve learning process and mathematics learning outcomes with applied the cooperative learning type of Course Review Horay (CRH). The subject of the research were students of class VIII3 SMP Negeri 4 Tapung in the second semester academic years 2014/2015. There are 24 students in the class, with the heterogenous level. The research are two cycles, each a cycle has four stages, that are planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Instrument to collect the data are observation and mathematics achivement test. The observation data analyzed by using descriptive and qualitative, and for students’ test by using descriptive and quantitative. The qualitative analysis showed an improvement of learning process prior to action to the first cycle and second cycle. The results of this research showed an increase in students achievement from the based-score with the percentage 29,16% to 45,83% on the first test and 70,83% on the second test. Abstract

Abstract: This research based on the students’ math achievement on grade VIIIB of SMP Beer Seba Pekanbaru which under the minimum completeness criteria with percentage 32.14% for math test with linear equations systems of two variables topic and 28.57% for Pythagoras's Theorem topic. The research is classroom action research. The research aims to improve the math learning process and improve math learning result at grade VIIIB of SMP Beer Seba Pekanbaru with applying the discovery learning. The research subjects were students of class VIIIB SMP Beer Seba Pekanbaru which consists of 15 boys and 14 girls in the even semester of 2015/2016 academic years. The instruments of data collection were observation sheets and students’ math achievement tests. The observation sheets were analyzed in desciptive narative and the students’ math achievement tests were analyzed in statistic desciptive. The result of descriptive narative had showed an improvement of learning process prior to the action on the first cycle and from the first cycle to the second cycle. The result of statistic descriptive had showed an increasing number of students’ math achievement from the basic score to the first math test with percentage 22.78% and from the first math test to the second math test with percentage 3.58%. So, the result of this research showed that the implementation of discovery learning can improve the learning process and improve the students’ math achievement for grade VIIIB SMP Beer Seba Pekanbaru in the even semester of 2015/2016 academic years.Key Word : Students’ Math Achievement, Discovery Learning, Clasroom Action Research

Abstract

Abstract: The background of this research is the low ability of mathematical problem solving skill of students class X SMA Negeri 8 Pekanbaru. The purposes of this research are 1) to describe the difference of mathematical problem solving skill of students who study through PBL model with student who study through conventional learning with scientific approaching; 2) to examine the improvment of mathematical problem solving skill of students who study through problem solving skill and students who study through conventional learning with scientific approaching. This research is an experimental research (quasi experiment) with The Nonequivalent Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The population of this research is all students of class X SMA Negeri 8 Pekanbaru. The sample of this research consits of two classes, class X MIPA1 as experiment class and X MIPA3 as control class. The research instruments are mathematical prior knowledge test and matehmatical problem solving ability test. Mathematical prior knowledge test score were used to select the sample of this research. Data were analysed by using Independent sample T-Test preceded by normality test and homogenity of variances test. The result showed that the improvement of mathematical problem solving ability of students who study through PBL model is higher than student who study through conventional learning with scientific approaching.Key Words: Problem Based Learning, Mathematical Problem Solving Ability

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to improve the learning process and improve the student’s mathematics learning outcomes through the implementation of Cooperative Learning with Think Pair Square Approach. The type of research is the Classroom Action Research with two cycles. The research was conducted in studentof grade VII3 SMP N 32 Pekanbaru in the second semester of the 2015/2016 academic year with the subject of as many as 41 students. The research instrument are consists of learning devices and instrument data collectors. Learning device used in this research are consists of the Syllabus, Lesson plan and Student work sheet. The instrument data collector used in this research is consists of the observation sheet and math test. Technique of data analysis is analysis of narrative descriptive and analysis of statistical descriptive. Based on the result of the research show that, the learning process has improved and the student’s mathematics learning outcomes have improved after applying the Cooperative Learning with Think Pair Square Approach. The Cooperative Learning with Think Pair Square Approach can be used as an alternative in learning, because it can improve the learning process and improve the students learning outcomes.Keywords: Cooperative Learning, Think Pair Square Approach, learning process, students

It can be seen from 32 students in the class, only 20 students who achieved the passing grade by the percentage 62,5% on the material Linear Equations and then the learning process still teacher center. The research is classroom action research. This aims research to increase learning process and students’ math achievement at class X2 SMA Tri Bhakti Pekanbaru through the implentation of the strategy index card match on cooperative learning model of STAD. The subject of the research are 32 students from class X2 SMA Tri Bhakti Pekanbaru, consist of 10 male and 22 famale students with the heterogenous level. Instrument to collect the data are observation and mathematics achivement test. The observation data analyzed by using descriptive and qualitative, and for students’ test by using descriptive and quantitative. The qualitative analysis showed an improvement of learning process prior to action to the first cycle and second cycle. The results of this research showed an increase in students achievement from the based-score with the percentage 62,5% to 68,75% on the first test and 84,375% on the second test. Based on the finding can be concluded the implentation of the strategy index card match on cooperative learning model of STAD to improve students’ mathematics achievement at class X2 SMA Tri Bhakti Pekanbaru in the second semester academic years 2014/2015.Key Word : Students’ Mathematics Achievement, Cooperative Learning Model STAD, Strategy Index Card Match, Classroom Action Research.

Abstract

Abstract : This study aims to improve the learning process and improve learning outcomes class X learners of SMKN Negeri 1 Mandau by applying cooperative learning model TPS . The subjects were learners in class X which consisted of 4 women and 30 men with heterogeneous academic ability. This research is a class act with two cycles . Each cycle has four stages : planning, implementation, observation and reflection . Data collection instrument in this study is the observation sheet activities teachers and learners, as well as the achievement test. Sheets were analyzed qualitatively descriptive narrative, while the achievement test were analyzed by descriptive statistical study by analyzing the development of the individual and group values, KKM achievement analysis, and analysis of the success of the action. Results of research on the observation sheet shows the activity of teachers and learners have done well and according to plan after the action . Improvements in the learning process of students and increase the number of learners who achieve KKM at the end of each cycle UH compared to the number of learners who achieve a score of KKM on base score. At the base score only 35,29% of learners who reach KKM , the UH I increased to 58,82% and the UH II also increased to 73,52% . The results of this study indicate that the application of cooperative learning model TPS can improve the learning process and improve learning outcomes class X learners of SMK Negeri 1 Mandau in the second semester of the academic year 2013/2014.   Keywords: Mathematics Learning Outcomes, Cooperative Learning, Think Pair Share (TPS), Classroom Action Research .

Abstract

Abstract : This research is a class action research that aims to improve the learning process and to increase the mathematics learning results of the students by applying Problem Based Learning. The subject of this research is the students of class  SMPN 8 Pekanbaru at the second semester of  2017/2018 academic year which total number of participants are 38 students, consists of 19 male students and 19 female students with heterogeneous ability. This research has two cycles. Each cycle has 3 meetings and 1 quiz. The data collecting instruments was observation sheet (learning process) and the students' worksheet. The data were analized by narrative descriptive and statistical descriptive analysis. The data were obtained from the observation sheets of teacher and students activities, it showed  that the learning process has improved after the model being implemented. From the data of the student’s evaluation test, it showed that the number of students who reach the Minimal Standard of Achievement  increased from the basic score to the Quiz I, from Quiz I to Quiz II. Each score increase 18,4 % where 23,7% to 42, 1% and 42,1 % to 60,5%. In conclusion, the implementation of discovery learning model can improve the learning process and increase the mathematics learning result of the students of grade  SMPN 8 Pekanbaru at the second semester of  2017/2018 academic years  on probability materials.  Key Words: The Mathematics Learning Result, Problem Based Learning, Class Action Research

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk berupa perangkat pembelajaran matematika berbasis problem based learning pada materi aturan sinus dan cosinus kelas X SMK/MAK. Model pengembangan yang digunakan adalah model 4-D, yaitu define (pendefenisian), design (perancangan), develop (pengembangan), dan desseminate (penyebaran). Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah instrumen validitas dan praktikalitas. Instrumen validitas berupa lembar penilaian validasi untuk menilai kevalidan perangkat pembelajaran berupa silabus, RPP dan LKPD. Instrumen praktikalitas berupa angket respon peserta didik untuk menilai keterbacaan LKPD. Perangkat pembelajaran yang sudah dikembangkan divalidasi oleh tiga validator. Uji coba kelompok kecil dilakukan pada peserta didik SMKN 2 Guguak. Hasil analisis data kevalidan diperoleh nilai rata-rata untuk silabus, RPP dan LKPD berturut-turut 3,73; 3,79; dan 3,56 yang dikategorikan sangat valid. Hasil analisis data kepraktisan LKPD pada uji coba kelompok kecil adalah 3,73 dengan kategori sangat praktis. penelitian pengembangan ini menghasilkan produk berupa perangkat pembelajaran matematika berbasis model problem based learning pada materi aturan sinus dan cosinus meliputi silabus, RPP dan LKPD yang valid dan LKPD yang praktisKata Kunci: Pengembangan; Perangkat Pembelajaran; Model Problem Based Learning; 4-D

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peranan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis dan kemandirian belajar siswa. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskiptif kuantitatif yang dilakukan pada siswa dan guru MTs. PP. Ansharullah kelas VII. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam artikel ini melalui wawancara dengan siswa dan guru, observasi, dan studi literatur yang dianalisis secara deskriptif.
