Abstract

This study is motivated by the emergence of the Covid-19 Virus, which has resulted in numerous changes in education, one of which is the usage of learning media. This study intends to expose the e-learning process as a model for teaching Arabic vocabulary, as well as the students' control over the Arabic vocabulary after learning through e-learning. The researcher used a quantitative strategy as well as a descriptive technique in his investigation. The participants in this study are eighth-grade students. Observation, personal interview, test, and questionnaire were utilized to collect data in this study. This study shows how e-learning was used in this school employing simultaneous e-learning, and the students were enthusiastic about teaching vocabulary using the internet.

Abstract

The objectives of this research are to detect the impact of the use of Google Classroom on the results of learning students’ substantive reading skills at this school, and to analyse the supporting and inhibiting factors in its use. After the researcher's pretest and postest of the students, received the pretest with the largest results 65 and the smallest results 40 and the average 50.  And posttest got the biggest results 80 and the smallest results 55 and average 68 and  got N-gain 0,6 at the good grade level. The researcher analyzed the data by law (T-test) with the help of SPSS 21 obtained Sig value. (2-tailed) 0,000 below 0,05 the alternative hypothesis H_a accepted the original hypothesis H_0 rejected. The conclusion of this research is that the teaching process using Google Classroom for students in this school has a statistically significant effect on the results of learning the reading skill.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the factors that cause students not to know the Arabic letters, to know the factors that cause students not to be able to read Arabic with good and correct pronunciation and also to determine whether there is an influence of students' educational background on reading ability (Jahriyyah). This study uses a quantitative approach with survey method. Data was collected using a questionnaire, interviews, and direct tests. The collected data were analyzed using percentage descriptive technique and simple linear regression analysis. The population in this study were students of 7th class at MTs Arrosyid II and 36 people as samples. Based on the results of the questionnaire research data, it was found that differences in students' educational backgrounds showed that the percentage of 72.1% was in the strong category. And from the results of the simple linear regression equation that there is an effect of students' educational background on reading ability, seen from Y = 19.889 + 0.806x and Ftable (0.05) > Fcount (0.008) the researcher can analyze that this equation shows a positive effect of variable X on variable Y and the influence of the remaining 19.1% is influenced by other variables. The factors that cause students not to know Hijaiyah letters are that they have not learned Arabic at their school before. The factors that cause students to be unable to read fluently are that they do not dare to express Arabic, do not trust themselves and are not interested in expressing Arabic

Abstract

This critical study is aimed to explain the position of Arabic-Indonesian dictionary (the work of Mahmud Yunus) in the mapping of Arabic lexicography development in Indonesia. This study was carried out through bibliographical based qualitative with the work of Mahmud Yunus as the main source. The results indicate that Mahmud Yunus Dictionary is categorized into bilingual dictionary following the sarfi alifbai system, in which the entry and vocabulary are systemized alphabetically. The display of the dictionary is a bland of common dictionary and pictorial dictionary, because the dictionary is provided with pictures adapted from al-Munjid. The critical and substantive evaluation study show that the compiling process of the dictionary is not fully based on lexicology and modern linguistics. Some mistakes (such as printing, diction, meaning, and entry), pictures, and classic illustrations, and some involvement of the ammiyyah vocabularies should be revised and contextualized in accordance to the development of science and technology. This study need to be developed to make the dictionary contribute the development of Arabic language teaching.

Abstract

This study aims to develop an "Arabic morphological simplification model with a constructivism approach and the analogy of learning sharf in Fast Time." The research approach used is qualitative and quantitative types of development research (RD). Researchers will develop an Arabic morphological model that can make neural learning successful in this fast time through surveys, interviews, documentation studies, and FGDs. It found that model was developed has succeeded in learning. Arabic education experts provide positive support to continue developing Arabic morphology models based on constructivism and analogy. Many inputs are used as references for researchers in developing the model designs that have been made. In the next stage, students as objects and public test subjects feel that neural learning becomes meaningful. Students also get a new, productive, and accessible learning model, even for those who are very 'basic,' who have always been seen as having difficulty mastering nerves.

Abstract

This research aims to analyse the implementation of method, media, and evaluation of speaking skill and reading skill learning in Arabic learning based on the theory verbal linguistic intelligence and interpersonal intelligence. The method of this research was mixed method with triangulation concuren strategy by collecting quantitative data and qualitative data. The finding indicate that the learning of speaking skill and reading skill in learning Arabic at  state Islamic Senior High School 2 and 4 Tanah Datar West Sumatera become very effective with applying the linguistic of theory verbal intelligence and interpersonal intellligence in good impact. Developed with that theory make test result Arabic subject the students are in the high category. The benefits of developing this theory in learning can also be concluded from the result of the questionnaire that have shared to students of states Islamic Senior High School 2 and 4 Tanah Datar West Sumatera. It was shown that maharat al-kalam and maharat al-qira’ah in the high category.

Abstract

أهداف البحث فهي الكشف عن قدرة طلاب قسم تعليم اللغة العربية على تحديد الفكرة الرئيسة والثانوية عن مشكلة أساسية يواجهها على تحديد الفكرة الرئيسة والفكرة الثانوية. هذا البحث هو البحث النوعي باستخدام المنهج الوصفي. أخذت الباحثة العينة من 22 طالبا في الفصل "أ" قسم تعليم اللغة العربية. وأما أساليب جمع البيانات التي استخدمتها الباحثة فهي المقابلة الشخصية والملاحظة المباشرة والاختبارات التحريرية. وبعد معالجة البيانات وتحليلها، حصلت الباحثة على أن المتوسطة لدرجة الطلاب في قسم تعليم اللغة العربية جامعة شريف هداية الله الإسلامية الحكومية جاكرتا على تحديد الفكرة الرئيسة والفكرة الثانوية هي 48،36 بتقدير "راسب" لأن الدرجة تقع بين 0-45. من هنا نعرف أن أكثرهم لا يقدرون على تحديد الفكرة الرئيسة والفكرة الثانوية. أما المشكلات الأساسية التي يواجهها الطلاب على تحديد الفكرة الرئيسة والفكرة الثانوية فهي أوفهم المضمون لدى الطلاب وضعف فهمهم للقواعد النحوية والصرفية.

Abstract

This research aims to develop effective and structured teaching materials in CEFR Level A1-A2-based Arabic listening and speaking skills for use in Alexandria Islamic School Bekasi. Unlike previous research that used CEFR for curriculum creation, this research focuses on the development of CEFR-based teaching materials. The CEFR standard is important in learning Arabic to assess the level of language proficiency. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with qualitative and quantitative approaches, and uses the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) model developed by Dick and Carey. Data collection techniques include tests, observations, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The results of the study showed that the use of the textbook "Al-Arabiyyatu Kulla Yaumin" obtained an effectiveness level of 85%-100%, which was categorized as "excellent". This product has been tested at the Islamic School of Alexandria through pre-test and post-test, with validation results showing high effectiveness. The result of this study is a CEFR-based teaching material for Arabic listening and speaking skills at Level A1-A2 that is ready to use. This teaching material is expected to improve Arabic language learning systematically and effectively, as well as contribute to the development of Arabic language learning in Indonesia.

Abstract

تطور علم اللغة العربية لا يمكن فصله عن الدور الكبير للمذاهب النحوية، بما في ذلك مذهب بغداد. ظهر هذا المذهب استجابة للحاجة إلى نهج أكثر شمولية ومرونة في فهم القواعد النحوية العربية، خاصة في ظل تطور الثقافة والفكر في العصر العباسي. يتناول البحث خصائص ومساهمات وتأثيرات مذهب بغداد في تاريخ تطور علم اللغة العربية، مما يجعله من الركائز المهمة في التقليد العلمي الإسلامي خلال العصر الذهبي. هذا البحث يستخدم المنهج الكيفي مع المقاربة التاريخية-الوصفية. تم جمع البيانات من خلال دراسة الأدبيات حول أعمال علماء مذهب بغداد، مثل المفصّل للأزماخشرى، وكذلك تحليل النصوص الأولية والثانوية الأخرى. تم إجراء التحليل باستخدام أسلوب التفسير التاريخي لتحديد الخصائص، والمساهمات، والتأثيرات لمذهب بغداد..أظهرت نتائج البحث أن مذهب بغداد يتسم بنهج فريد يجمع بين المبادئ العقلانية لمذهب البصرة والنهج النصي لمذهب الكوفة. يوفر هذا النهج الانتقائي تأثيرًا كبيرًا في تطوير قواعد جديدة تتناسب مع تنوع الثقافة واللغة. كما أن الموقع الجغرافي وبغداد كمركز للحضارة الإسلامية ساهم بشكل كبير في نشر وتطوير علم النحو، مما جعل هذا المذهب نقطة محورية في تاريخ اللغة العربية.الكلمة الأساسية : المذهب البغدادي، علم النحو، المنهج الانتقائي AbstrakThe development of Arabic philology cannot be separated from the significant role of grammatical movements, including the Baghdad movement. This doctrine emerged in response to the need for a more comprehensive and flexible approach to understanding Arabic grammatical rules, especially in light of the development of culture and thought in the Abbasid era. The research addresses the characteristics, contributions, and influences of the Baghdad movement in the history of the development of Arabic philology, making it one of the important pillars of the Islamic scientific tradition during the Golden Age. This research utilizes a qualitative approach with a historical-descriptive approach. Data was collected by studying the literature on the works of Baghdad movement scholars, such as Azmakhshari's Al-Mufasil, as well as analyzing other primary and secondary texts. The analysis was conducted using a historical interpretation method to identify the characteristics, contributions, and influences of the Baghdad movement.The results of the research showed that the Baghdad movement is characterized by a unique approach that combines the rationalist principles of the Basra movement with the textual approach of the Kufa movement. This eclectic approach provides great influence in the development of new rules that suit the diversity of culture and language. The geographical location of Baghdad as a center of Islamic civilization contributed greatly to the spread and development of grammar, making this doctrine a pivotal point in the history of the Arabic language.Keyword: Baghdad movement, ilmu nahwu, eclecticism

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the Role Play method in improving Arabic speaking skills. This research is significant because several issues in teaching speaking skills have been identified, including students’ lack of confidence when speaking Arabic due to their fear of making mistakes, which is caused by their limited vocabulary. Additionally, Arabic language instruction often focuses solely on vocabulary teaching, and teachers have not yet implemented engaging methods and strategies in Arabic language teaching. This study employs a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design involving two groups of students: an experimental group using the Role Play method and a control group not using the Role Play method. The research data was collected through oral tests (pre-test and post-test) and analyzed using t-tests and N-Gain tests to determine the effectiveness and degree of effectiveness of the method. After applying the treatment, the average score of the experimental group increased to 75.37, compared to 41.47 before the treatment. Meanwhile, the control group’s average pre-test score was 38.95, and their post-test score was 41.89. The t-test results showed a value of 19.96, with a t-table value of 1.68 at a 5% significance level and 2.43 at a 1% significance level. This indicates that the t-test value is greater than the t-table value, meaning the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected, and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted, signifying that the Role Play teaching method effectively improves Arabic speaking skills. Furthermore, the N-Gain test was conducted to determine the level of effectiveness, which yielded a result of 0.6. This value falls within the range of >0.03 and <0.07, indicating that the effectiveness of this teaching method is categorized as moderate.
