Teaching strategy is very important in Arabic Classroom. It covers design and dimension. One of the model in the instructional design is discovery learning. In teaching Arabic language discovery model called guided discovery. Abstract

This study aims to test the effectiveness of using suggestopedia method in teaching listening skills for students of Madrasah Al – Hikmah, Malang. The focus of this study was to answer some questions: 1) how is the application of suggestopedia method in listening; 2 ) how is the effectiveness of using suggestopedia method in listening, especially the ability to distinguish stressing an intonation and the ability to understand the Arabic language fragment of reading. It applied quantitative approach with an experimental design by comparing experimental and control class. To gain the data, It applied some techniques, including: observation, interview, doing test (pre and post), and questionnaire. Data collected were analyzed through the following steps: determining test for normality of data, determining test the homogeneity of data, analyzing of the pre-test results, analyzing post-test results, analyzing the results before and after treatment, and a comparing analysis on final results from experimental and control class. The findings show that: (a) The suggestopedia method is appropriate to upgrade students’ skill in listening. (b) it boosts learners’ ability in listening right word for for 2nd eksperimental class is effective but it did not work for 1st class experiment. (c) The impact of suggestopedia method to the students’ ability in discerning word stressing in sentences for both experimental classes is effective. (d) The impact of suggestopedia method used to students’ ability in recognizing script played on audio media in normal speed for both experimental classes is effective.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh permasalahan yang dihadapi siswa dalam pembelajaran kosakata bahasa Arab dengan sistem pembelajaran jarak jauh yaitu kurangnya kemampuan siswa dalam menguasai kosakata dan kurangnya penerapan strategi pembelajaran yang tepat dalam pembelajaran jarak jauh. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap kemampuan penguasaan kosakata siswa setelah menggunakan strategi elaborasi. Peneliti menggunakan metode penelitian eksperimen dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Peneliti menggunakan pre-test dan post-test untuk mengumpulkan data. Bukti yang ditemukan dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa hipotesis alternatif (Ha) diterima dan hipotesis nol (Ho) ditolak. Artinya, penggunaan strategi elaborasi dalam proses belajar mengajar kosakata memiliki pengaruh yang kuat. Proses pengajaran dan pembelajaran kosakata menggunakan strategi elaborasi di kalangan siswa berdampak kuat pada penguasaan kosakata mereka.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the emergence of the Covid-19 Virus, which has resulted in numerous changes in education, one of which is the usage of learning media. This study intends to expose the e-learning process as a model for teaching Arabic vocabulary, as well as the students' control over the Arabic vocabulary after learning through e-learning. The researcher used a quantitative strategy as well as a descriptive technique in his investigation. The participants in this study are eighth-grade students. Observation, personal interview, test, and questionnaire were utilized to collect data in this study. This study shows how e-learning was used in this school employing simultaneous e-learning, and the students were enthusiastic about teaching vocabulary using the internet.

Abstract

This research aims to reveal the forms of linguistic errors in Arabic Book published by Tiga Serangkai in terms of graphology, syntax and morphology errors. Researchers used qualitative research method, with the techniques to collect data are observation and interview, and the data analysis techniqe is content analysis. This research found some errors in terms of syntax such as “marfuat, mansubat,  majrurat”, incompatibilities between “mubtada” and “khabar”, “fiil” and “fa'il”, “ism isyarah” and “musyar ilaih” and errors in “idhafah”. Some errors in terms of morphology such as in “wazn fiil” and “wazn ism”. In terms of graphology such as errors in writing “hamzah qatha”, changing letters, deleting letters, and adding letters. After conducting the research, it has found that errors in this book occurred because the author of the book had not read the book contents in detail, lack of supervision from the editor, and the limitation of time.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to obtain intensive and comprehensive description about the implementation of School Based Management for school empowering through optimization of management functions. This research applied qualitative approach, with descriptive method. The result showed that; (a) Education Foundation Dua Mei stays in dilemmatic position between giving full authority and keeping total stability, (b) School transparency and accountability to public doesn't run maximum because of public education level is inadequate, (c) Headmaster becomes empowered because he can empower hisself and his staff and teachers, (d) Teacher empowering results professional and autonomous teacher, and (e) The end target of school empowering is the improvement of instructional quality.

Abstract

The researcher chose this topic because teaching speaking skill didn’t success in promote students’ competence in speaking. One of the problems is the lack of dialogue exercises material, which leads to a lack of opportunity in doing conversation, especially about health. There are no abstract materials and patterns of expressions of health. The research aims to develop speaking materials based on language functions about health. The researcher used R&D method with a qualitative approach. Its use the ADDIE model: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The research shows that: (1) the speaking materials based on language functions about health supports in teaching speaking skill contains four materials: vocabulary, listening, speaking, and grammar. (2) The developed materials show their quality after being assessed by the expert in "Very Good” grade.

Abstract

Di antara problem sosial yang terjadi di lingkungan masyarakat Desa Laladon, Kecamatan Ciomas, Kabupaten Bogor adalah minimnya kesadaran masyarakat tentang pentingnya pendidikan dan lemahnya perhatian terhadap kebersihan lingkungan. Rumusan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yang ingin dijawab adalah bagaimana upaya yang efektif dalam pemberdayaan pendidikan dan meningkatkan kebersihan lingkungan masyarakat di Desa Laladon untuk menciptakan lingkungan yang bersih, sehat, dan berdaya saing. Pendekatan yang digunakan untuk mengatasi masalah di lokasi pengabdian masyarakat adalah pendekatan problem solving, yang meliputi identifikasi masalah, penentuan masalah, penentuan strategi, pengaturan strategi, riset, analisis, dan pengambilan keputusan. Untuk mengatasi kedua masalah utama tersebut, kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini mengimplementasikan beberapa solusi, antara lain: mengklasifikasikan sampah menjadi organik dan anorganik, membuat alat pembakar sampah (insinerator), melaksanakan program Sabtu Bersih, mengajar anak-anak Sekolah Dasar, serta mengembangkan keterampilan hidup. Pemilahan sampah organik dan anorganik dilakukan secara rutin setiap minggu. Mesin insinerator dapat digunakan oleh masyarakat. Program fun study dirancang untuk membuat anak-anak lebih antusias dan termotivasi dalam belajar.

Abstract

This research is based on the importance of mastering Arabic as a key competency for students at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Islamiyah Ciputat. However, in reality, many students lack confidence in their ability to learn and master the Arabic language. This issue is evident at the research site, where students tend to hesitate in demonstrating their skills in various aspects of Arabic, such as vocabulary (mufradat), syntax (tarkib), and reading comprehension (qira’ah). This study aims to examine the effectiveness of using daily journals in enhancing students  confidence in Arabic language proficiency and to determine the improvement in students' learning outcomes before and after implementing this method. The study employs a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental method with a Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The research sample consists of 61 ninth-grade students divided into two groups: 24 students in the experimental class, who used daily journals, and 37 students in the control class, who followed traditional methods. Both groups were assessed using pre-tests and post-tests. Data were collected through tests, observations, and interviews. The findings indicate that daily journals effectively enhance students' confidence. The experimental group's average post-test score was 80.20, compared to 59.27 in the control group. The t-test results show a significance value of 0.226 (>0.05), indicating significant improvement. The N-Gain score of 0.4 categorizes the method as moderately effective. Thus, daily journals not only boost students' confidence but also improve their Arabic proficiency. Keywords: Effectiveness, Daily Journal, Confidence, Arabic Language Proficiency. مستخلص البحثيستند هذا البحث إلى أهمية إجادة اللغة العربية كإحدى الكفاءات الأساسية التي يجب أن يمتلكها طلاب المدرسة الإسلامية المتوسطة تشيبوتات. ومع ذلك، فإن الواقع يشير إلى أن العديد من الطلاب يفتقرون إلى الثقة بأنفسهم في تعلم اللغة العربية وإتقانها. وقد لوحظ ذلك في موقع البحث، حيث يميل الطلاب إلى التردد في إظهار قدراتهم. يهدف هذا البحث إلى الكشف عن فعالية استخدام اليوميات لترقية ثقة التلاميذ بأنفسهم على إجادة اللغة العربية، بالإضافة إلى معرفة تحسين نتائج تعلمهم قبل وبعد تطبيق هذا الأسلوب. استخدم هذا البحث منهجًا كميًا بأسلوب شبه تجريبي (تصميم المجموعة الضابطة غير المتكافئة). تألفت عينة البحث من ٦١ طالبًا من الصف التاسع، تم تقسيمهم إلى مجموعتين: ٢٤ طالبًا في المجموعة التجريبية الذين استخدموا اليوميات و٣٧ طالبًا في المجموعة الضابطة الذين استخدموا الأسلوب التقليدي. تم تقييم كلتا المجموعتين باستخدام اختبار قبلي واختبار بعدي. جُمعت البيانات من خلال الاختبارات، الملاحظة، والمقابلات. أظهرت نتائج البحث أن استخدام اليوميات كان فعالًا في ترقية ثقة التلاميذ بأنفسهم. وقد أثبتت النتائج ذلك من خلال متوسط درجات الاختبار البعدي للمجموعة التجريبية الذي بلغ ٨٠.٢٠ مقارنة بالمجموعة الضابطة التي بلغ متوسطها ٥٩.٢٧. وأظهر اختبار "تي" أن قيمة الدلالة بلغت ٠.٢٢٦، وهي أكبر من ٠.٠٥، مما يعني رفض الفرضية الصفرية (Ho) وقبول الفرضية البديلة (Ha)، وبالتالي يمكن الاستنتاج أن هناك تحسنًا ملحوظًا في ثقة التلاميذ بأنفسهم بعد استخدام اليوميات. بالإضافة إلى ذلك، أظهرت نتيجة اختبار N-Gain أن فعالية الأسلوب كانت عند مستوى متوسط بقيمة بلغت ٠.٤. الكلمات المفتاحية: فعالية، اليوميات، الثقة بالنفس، إجادة اللغة العربية.
