Abstract

publikasi karya dan artikel ilmiah menjadi keniscayaan bagi pendidik sebagai bagian yang tak terpisahkan dari tugas pokok dan fungsinya. Publikasi karya dan artikel ilmiah khususnya pada jurnal terakreditasi menjadi sarana guru untuk pengusulan kanaikan kepangkatan, apalagi bagi guru MIN 2 Jember, yang sebagain besar merupakan tenaga pendidik berstatus pegawai negeri sipil (PNS). Berdasarkan hasil observasi pra kegiatan pengabdian, tingkat publikasi khususnya pada jurnal terakreditasi masih perlu peningkatan, hal ini dapat dirujuk dari pengetahuan guru tentang publikasi pada jurnal terakreditasi masih minim. Mayoritas dokumen kenaikan kepangkatan masih berbentuk konvensional yaitu laporan kegiatan pada ranah penelitian tindakan kelas. Disisi lain pengetahuan tentang perkembangan teknis penulisan, seperti penggunaan aplikasi mendeley, masih belum diketahui dan dikuasai. Tujuan kegiatan disamping untuk peningkatan kapasitas ketrampilan dalam penulisan karya dan artikel ilmiah, dimaksudkan untuk menjalin kerjasama guru MIN 2 Jember sebagai kontributor pada jurnal terakreditasi yang dikelola oleh Universitas Muhammadiyah Jember. Pelaksanaan kegiatan pelatihan penulisan karya dan artikel ilmiah ini dihadiri 78.2 persen atau 18 dari jumlah guru MIN 2 Jember. Hasil proses pelatihan dengan dua model kegiatan yaitu workshop dan klinik penulisan, ada lima guru (27,7%) MIN 2 Jember sampai pada taraf persiapan publikasi pada jurnal terakreditasi.

Abstract

Strengthening learning methods through Edmodo, in this activity the first thing offered in the PKM (Community Partnership Program) activity is a program of utilizing information and communication technology in online learning. Online learning used in PKM uses the Edmodo application. Learning using Edmodo makes it easier for teachers and students to interact for the purpose of exchanging information and skills that the teacher possesses. Edmodo is a safe learning platform for teachers, students and schools based on social media. Edmodo provides a safe and easy way for the class to connect and collaborate, share content and access work, grades and school notifications. Our goal is to help educators and teachers harness the power of social media to tailor classrooms for each student. The second is to offer a training program and mentoring in email creation and the operationalization of Edmodo applications that are related to knowledge and skills of educators and students in online learning enviroments. The output of this program include (1) the use of appropriate information technology, namely ,by using the edmodo application, (2) skills in online learning, and (3) making online learning fun and engaging.

Abstract

Mengintegrasikan pembelajaran dengan sarana media yang tepat dapat mendorong proses pencapaian kompetensi siswa secara maksimal. Pengembangan kompetensi siswa tidak hanya mencakup aspek kognitif, namun juga ranah afektif dan psikomotorik. Salah satu sarana yang dapat difungsikan dan dimanfaatkan dalam proses kegiatan belajar mengajar adalah green house. Berdasarkan konteks tersebut perlu adanya pengembangan green house di MIN 2 Jember, yang difungsikan sebagai sarana media pembelajaran bagi siswa dan guru. Pengembangan green house disisi lain juga dapat disinergikan dengan program adiwiyata dalam rangka meningkatkan dan mengembangan perilaku peduli lingkungan di tingkat sekolah pada warga sekolah secara keseluruhan. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan membuat green house yang dikonstruksi dan dipersiapkan sebagai sarana media alternatif yang dapat difungsikan oleh guru dan siswa untuk kegiatan belajar mengajar. Hasil pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian, pembuatan green house dapat direalisasikan dengan luas lebih kurang 50 meter persegi, dengan konstruksi kerangka bangunan menggunakan bambu hitam untuk menonjolkan sisi “go green” selaras dengan program adiwiyata yang diikuiti oleh MIN 2 Jember. Proses pembuatan green house membutuhkan waktu selama lima hari terkendala faktor hujan, dari estimasi waktu rencana selama 3 hari. Proses finishing pada bagian luar ditutup dengan paranet, sedangkan atap menggunakan dua jenis spandex, yaitu transparan dan non transparan. Penggunaan dua jenis bahan ini dengan pertimbangan konstruksi atap dapat mengurangi hawa panas yang masuk ke dalam green house sehingga dapat menimbulkan rasa kurang nyaman yang dirasakan oleh siswa dan guru ketika kegiatan belajar mengajar

Abstract

Online learning is a problem solving during the Covid-19 pandemic. Al-Amin Muhammadaiyah Boarding School (MBS) of Bojonegoro as one of the educational institutions under the auspices of Muhammadiyah is consistent and obedient to the decision of both central and regional governments to eliminate offline learning as an effort to reduce the spread of the Covid-19 virus. The implementation of online learning at Al-Amin MBS of Bojonegoro uses google classroom, zoom metting and whatssapp application. The effectiveness and efficiency of online learning can be linked to the level of student learning activities related to attendance, doing assignments, discussions and others. The formulation of this research problem is How is the level of learning activity of Al-Amin MBS of Bojonegoro students in online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic? The purpose of this study was to determine the level of student learning activity and the treatment strategies or treatment of Al-Amin MBS in the implementation of online learning. This study uses a qualitative approach with survey research type. The data analysis used quantitative descriptive method. The results showed that the level of student learning activity was in the active or good category. The treatment strategies or treatments prepared by Al-Amin MBS of Bojonegoro in online learning are reducing the duration of lesson time and requiring teachers to make a resume of each learning material.

Abstract

The online learning era found significant momentum when the coronavirus was spreading globally. Innovation, creativity and online learning tools increased significantly and rapidly. All levels of education, from early childhood to university, were racing to provide online learning. This context made the satisfaction dimension of necessity that must be realized by schools/educational institutions. Measurement of satisfaction in learning services was related to five dimensions including reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy and tangible. This study aimed to look at the level of satisfaction and the factors that contribute to satisfaction of online learning during the covid-19 pandemic. This study used a qualitative approach with a survey research type based on quantitative descriptive data analysis. The results showed that the average level of satisfaction reached 75%. While, the contributing factors were methods and strategies, and also the discipline and feedback attitudes of the teachers.

Abstract

Recognition of Islamic boarding schools shows a stronger existence with updates and changes to the system, also supported by government policies with the term mu’adalah. The level of learning independence that was the potential of the mu’adalah Islamic boarding school students was the result of the construction of a comprehensive learning implementation system. The totality from the planning stage to implementation was a reflection of the quality of learning in mu’adalah Islamic boarding schools. The transformation and modernization of the mu’adalah Islamic boarding school were marked by the quality assurance of teaching staff starting from the aspects of qualifications and competencies aligned with government policies. The embodiment of the quality of learning mu’adalah was competence. The reflection of this description forms the basis that the purpose of this study was to look comprehensively at the quality of learning in the mu’adalah Islamic boarding school. This research took place at the Baitul Arqom mu’adalah Islamic boarding school and used a qualitative approach with the main respondents being ustadz, students, and boarding school administrators. The results of the study showed the quality of learning at Baitul Arqom Islamic Boarding School due to the evaluation of the implementation of the learning process in stages from weekly to the end of each semester. As for the evaluation of student learning, written tests, oral tests, and practice were carried out consistently with original assessments.

Abstract

Ketepatan pemilihan media pembelajaran dalam mendorong ketercapaian hasil belajar siswa dalam seluruh kompetensi yang akan dikembangkan membutuhkan pertimbangan yang komprehensif. Tataran efektif dan efisien tentu menjadi unsur utama, namun juga harus mengandung dimensi aktif, inovatif dan menyenangkan. Mempertimbangkan perkembangan psikologis peserta didik juga merupakan salah satu langkah yang perlu diperhatikan. Usia siswa pada sekolah dasar/madrasah cenderung lebih pada konteks proses pembelaran learning by doing dan learning is fun. Pembuatan hidroponik merupakan salah satu langkah yang dapat dilakukan oleh guru dalam menyediakan media pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan peduli lingkungan dan kecerdasan naturalis siswa. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan wadah guru dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam pembuatan hidropronik sebagai media pembelajaran. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dalam 3 tahapan, pertama praktek pembuatan hidroponik, kedua yaitu pembibitan tanaman, dan ketiga penggunaan hidroponik sebagai media pembelajaran siswa. Hasil pelaksanaan pengabdian, guru memiliki pengetahuan dalam pembuatan hidroponik serta cara memanfaatkannya sebagai media pembelajaran dalam meningkatkan peduli lingkungan dan kecerdasan naturalis siswa MIN 2 Jember.

Abstract

Religious moderation constitutes a popular terminology in the field of social and religious studies in Indonesia. The key point of this term concerns the manifestation of tolerance in social life, in addition to the equality of rights and humanity. The popularity of religious moderation is inseparable from the multicultural life of Indonesian society which is characterized with different religious beliefs. Muhammadiyah as a large religious organization in Indonesia has an important role and contribution in developing religious moderation in the life of many Muslims in the country. Many schools established by this organization have been designed and constructed on Islamic values as their philosophical basis for developing the curriculum. Hence, a number of subjects such as aqidah, akhlaq, and muamalah are always included as core content in these schools with the aim of fostering both knowledge and understanding of religion for students. The present study aimed thus to examine the influence of the dimensions of aqidah, akhlaq, and muamalah on students' religious moderation attitude in Muhammadiyah schools. The objectives of this study were simultaneously formulated in 4 hypotheses testing, 3 partial hypotheses, and one hypothesis. This research employed quantitative methods involving a multiple linear regression model. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire containing 40 questions on the Linkert scale. Respondents were 255 students from 3 Muhammadiyah junior high schools. The results showed that the hypothesis was partial in that only the dimension of aqidah showed a significant effect. As for the simultaneous hypothesis testing, the f-count value is 31.319 > f-table 2.64, with an influence value of 0.522 and a significant contribution of 27.2 percent on the R-square value.

Abstract

Human beings who continue to experience endless debates. Departing from western theory, starting from Aristotle's theory, Louis Pasteur, to Charles Darwin, who tried to rediscover the nature of the origin of life and human life which states that humans actually came from previous lives. Although the theory is often considered rational but in reality, it still raises many questions and doubts regarding the facts of human creation. The purpose of writing is to describe human terminology in Alquran and Ibn Arabi. The expected results are enlightenment about human nature in realizing our human meaning
