Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman kepada guru PAUD/TK di Kabupaten Aceh Utara tentang pembelajaran berbasis STEAM, serta tips membangun karakteristik anak usia dini melalui pendekatan STEAM dan melatih keterampilan guru dalam merancang media pembelajaran berbasis STEAM agar mereka dapat diterapkan dalam proses pembelajaran di sekolah. Guru juga dibekali pengetahuan tentang standar tingkat pencapaian tumbuh kembang anak yang menjadi salah satu acuan dalam mengevaluasi proses pembelajaran bagi anak usia dini dalam berbagai aspek mulai dari aspek afektif, kognitif, dan psikomotorik. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan dalam bentuk pelatihan melalui 3 (tiga) tahap yaitu Persiapan, Simulasi, dan Pendampingan. Dari hasil pengabdian diketahui bahwa guru mampu memahami pembelajaran berbasis STEAM dengan baik, hal ini terlihat dari hasil RPPH dan media yang dirancang mampu membangun karakteristik anak usia dini.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian Research and Development (R&D). Pada penelitian ini yaitu menghasilkan sebuah produk berupa media pembelajaran berbasis video berbantuan aplikasi renderforest pada materi Pythagoras. Penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Metode pembelajaran yang dilakukan adalah Problem Based Learning (PBL). Instrumen yang digunakan pada penelitian ini berupa instrumen tes dan non tes. Instrumen tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis peserta didik berupa soal uraian dan instrumen non tes berupa angket kemandirian belajar peserta didik. Data yang digunakan berupa data kuantitatif dan data kualitatif. Pengukuran kelayakan produk dengan uji validasi dan praktikabilitas. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan wawancara, angket atau kuisioner.

Abstract

Pedagogic competence must be mastered by Early Childhood Education teachers. The purpose of this study was to determine the pedagogical competence of PAUD teachers using lesson study-based Tikar Literasi and analyze using a mixed method. 50 early childhood teachers as the subject of this research. Nevertheless, Interviews and observation as the data collection. The results show that planning indicators are the preparation of curriculum tools, designing lesson study-based learning, and the use of Tikar Monopoli with a teacher confidence level of 85%. Learning achievement using Tikar Monopoli in the confident category is 92%, Lesson Study-based learning implementation indicators in the very confident category reach 90%, and learning achievement using Tikar Monopoli based on lesson study in the confident category is 87%. Thus the conclusion was the pedagogic competence of early childhood teachers is in category A (76-100), which means that the pedagogic competence of PAUD teachers using lesson study-based Tikar Monopoli is in the high category.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the extent to which the mathematical critical thinking skills of class X MAS Darul Ulum Alwaliyyah female students have improved on quadratic function material using the Discovery Learning learning model. The subjects taken in this research were 16 class X female students for the 2023/2024 academic year. This research approach is qualitative with the type of classroom action research. Data analysis techniques carried out in this action research include tests, interviews, and observations of teacher activities and student activities by 2 observers. According to the results of data analysis, it was found that the learning outcomes of female students in cycle I were 75%, and then there was an increase in cycle II, namely 88%. Meanwhile, the level of student activity in cycle I was 84.65% and there was an increase in cycle II to 88.16%. Teacher activity in cycle I was 83.33%, and teacher activity in cycle II increased to 85.33%. Based on this, it can be concluded that the mathematical critical thinking skills of class. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswi kelas X MAS Darul Ulum Alwaliyyah pada materi fungsi kuadrat menggunakan model pembelajaran  Discovery Learning. Subjek yang diambil pada penelitian ini adalah siswi kelas X tahun Pelajaran 2023/2024 yang berjumlah 16 orang. Pendekatan penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian tindakan kelas. Teknik analisis data yang dilakukan pada penelitian tindakan ini diantaranya tes, wawancara, serta pengamatan terhadap aktivitas guru dan aktivitas siswa oleh 2 orang observer. Menurut hasil analisis data diperoleh bahwa hasil belajar siswi pada siklus I sebesar 75%, dan kemudian terjadi peningkatan pada siklus II yaitu sebanyak 88%. Sedangkan tingkat aktivitas siswa pada siklus I sebanyak 84,65% dan terjadi peningkatan pada siklus II menjadi 88,16%. Aktivitas guru pada siklus I sebanyak 83,33%, dan aktivitas guru pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 85,33%. Berdasarkan hal tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswi kelas X MAS Darul Ulum Alwaliyyah pada materi fungsi kuadrat dapat lebih meningkat setelah diajarkan menggunakan model pembelajaran Discovery Learning.

Abstract

The application of the coloring method through drawing sketches in developing children's fine motor skills and being able to find out fine motor development in group B children. The reason for choosing coloring picture sketch media is because coloring is one of the types of activities that children like to increase their creativity and imagination to develop their fine motor skills. This research is a class action research using qualitative data analysis. Data collection methods are carried out by observation and documentation. The instrument used is an observation sheet. The data analysis technique used is descriptive quantitative. Children's attention when learning children's fine motor development activities can be improved through the coloring sketch method. Children's attention has increased each cycle. In the pre-action, the attention of children with good attention criteria was only 40%. After the action in cycle I it increased to 60%, and in Cycle II the child's attention increased again to 93%. so that it can be concluded that the child's response in the activity of coloring a sketch of a picture is able to develop a child's imagination

Abstract

Whereas residents can still exploit the potential of other natural resources wasted in the village. One of them is coffee skin waste. Through this activity, the team provided training and mentoring to the people of BenerMeriah Village to be able to utilize coffee skins into coffee skin briquettes as alternative fuels. Training activities and assistance in making coffee skin briquettes to the community are carried out through certain stages. Conduct counseling about empowering coffee skin waste into coffee skin briquettes, followed by making coffee skin briquettes together. From the results of the dedication, it was obtained that thecommunity was able to utilize coffee skin waste as an alternative fuel.

Abstract

This research was done at the kindergarten of Bungong Jeumpa Puteh, Gunci Village, Sawang sub district, Aceh Utara District. It aims to investigate the effect of watching cartoon movie intensity toward the early childhoods’ learning motivation. The research employed the ex post facto method with a descriptive quantitative approach. The sum of the research samples were 25 children, including 15 boys and 10 girls (ages 4-6 years). The data were gotten from questionnaires and documentation, then analyzed quantitatively using formula of the Pearson Product Moment Correlation in order to verify validity and reliability. According to the analysis data, it was discovered that there is a linear and great correlation between the intensity of watching cartoon movies and early childhood learning motivation. The significance score (sig) in Deviation Linearity line was 0.074 is bigger than the value of 0.05 (0.074 > 0.05). besides, the result measurement showed that watching cartoon movie intensity has the significant effect toward the early childhoods’ learning motivation by the F Value measure was 4.429 is bigger than T-Table was 4.26 in significant level 0.046 < 0.05. it could be concluded that the higher Frequency of watching cartoon movie intensity has the effect toward the early childhoods’ learning motivation

Abstract

Merdeka curriculum is interpreted as a learning design that provides learning opportunities for children to learn with freedom and creative thinking, creating a generation of lifelong learners following the values of Pancasila. This research aims to analyze the implementation of the Merdeka curriculum with Pancasila-profiled learners in early childhood education. This research uses a systematic literature review using the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-analysis (PRISMA) with three steps: planning, conducting, and reporting the review. The procedure through stages is the development of a review protocol, definition of inclusion and exclusion criteria, literature search in predetermined databases, critical appraisal, data extraction, and information synthesis. The result shows that implementing the Merdeka curriculum with the Pancasila student profiled in early childhood education is carried out in intra-curricular, extra-curricular, and school culture learning, starting with understanding the Merdeka curriculum and learning outcomes. Future research might delve deeper into assessing the holistic impact of the Merdeka Curriculum's Pancasila-student profiling on various aspects of early childhood development beyond values integration, such as cognitive, social, and emotional growth.

Abstract

Fine motor development is one of the developments that can be honed in early childhood. Salt painting media is a medium that can develop children's fine motor skills. However, the fine motor skills of children at the IT Baitusshalihin Ulee Kareng Kindergarten in Banda Aceh are not yet fully developed. Most children still have difficulty using writing tools, imitating shapes, forming patterns, and cutting out patterns, and they even still have difficulty exploring various tools/media. This research aims to determine whether salt painting media can develop children's fine motor skills at the IT Baitusshalihin Ulee Kareng Kindergarten, Banda Aceh. The research sample was children aged 4-5 years which involved children from group A2 as the control class and A3 as the experimental class, totaling 15 children. This type of research is experimental using quasi-experimental analysis. This research used a pre-test-post-test control group design. Based on calculations using t-test statistics. Then using salt painting media can develop children's fine motor skills as obtained by t count > t table, namely 3.89 > 1.70 so that the alternative hypothesis Ha is accepted and the hypothesis H0 is rejected. Therefore, it can be concluded that the use of salt painting media can develop children's fine motor.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini berjudul Pelatihan Dolanan Tanpa Gadget Untuk Guru PAUD Dalam Meningkatkan Literasi dan Numerasi Pada Generasi Alpha. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk melatih guru-guru PAUD untuk membuat permainan (dolanan) edukatif tanpa gadget agar dapat meningkatkan literasi dan numerasi anak-anak. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan di sekolah TK Nusa Indah Kecamatan Peusangan Kabupaten Bireuen dan peserta dalam kegiatan pelatihan ini adalah guru-guru yang ada di TK Nusa Indah. Metode pelaksanaan pengabdian ini dilakukan dalam dua sesi; sesi pertama peserta diberikan pengetahuan materi tentang jenis-jenis dolanan tanpa gadget yang dapat dikembangkan oleh guru yang dapat digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran. Pada sesi kedua, peserta dilatih praktik langsung untuk membuat dolanan bersama-sama anak-anak. Hasil yang diperoleh dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah guru-guru mendapatkan pengetahuan dan dapat mengembangkan dolanan tanpa gadget sebagai media belajar dalam meningkatkan literasi dan numerasi anak-anak dalam belajar. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian ini berjalan dengan sukses dan memberikan kontribusi yang sangat besar kepada guru-guru di sekolah TK Nusa Indah dalam mengembangkan permainan edukatif guna menunjang proses pembelajaran menjadi lebih baik ke depannya.
