Abstract

This study aims to determine the challenges of character formation for students in the digital era, the role of Pancasila education in shaping student character, and the implementation of Pancasila values ​​in student life in the digital era. The research method used is descriptive research with library research. Research activities are carried out by collecting information and data with the help of various existing materials. The results of the study indicate that there are several challenges in character formation for students in the digital era, namely easy access to information without moral filtration, negative behavior in cyberspace (cyberbullying, misuse of social media), declining ethical digital literacy skills, individualism and declining social solidarity as well as social pressure and identity crisis in the digital era. The role of Pancasila education in shaping student character in the digital era includes several aspects, namely instilling moral values ​​and national ethics, building nationalism and national attitudes, developing emotional and social intelligence, becoming a moral foundation in digital literacy and encouraging critical thinking and tolerance. Some implementations of the values ​​of each Pancasila principle in the lives of students in the digital era include the implementation of the value of belief in the one and only God, for example, maintaining proper speech and communication ethics on social media, rejecting content that demeans other religions or beliefs, and practicing tolerance towards differences.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the importance of character building for the younger generation, the concept of self-potential, the relationship between self-potential and character building, strategies for developing self-potential to improve character, the role of the environment and education in character building, as well as challenges and solutions in strengthening the character of the younger generation. The research method used is descriptive research with library research. Research activities are carried out by collecting information and data with the help of various existing materials. The results of the study indicate that the younger generation is expected to be able to become individuals who are not only superior in the fields of science and technology, but also have a strong character and are based on Pancasila values. The development of self-potential has a strong positive correlation with character building, when an individual succeeds in recognizing and honing his potential, he will gain self-confidence, independence, responsibility and fighting spirit, these values ​​are essential components of a strong character. The strategy for developing self-potential to improve character is the self-discovery phase, the goal setting phase, the action and practice phase, the mentor and supportive environment search phase, the evaluation and continuous reflection phase

Abstract

This study aims to determine the meaning of social conflict in community life, the factors causing social conflict in society, and law enforcement efforts in creating peace and harmony in society. The research method used is descriptive research with library research. Assisted research activities are carried out by collecting information and data from various available materials. The results of the study indicate that social conflict in community life can be understood as a process of conflict that occurs due to differences in interests, values, or goals between individuals and groups. Conflict is an unavoidable part of the dynamics of social life in a pluralistic society. Therefore, a good understanding of social conflict is crucial so that society can manage conflict wisely and maintain harmony in communal life. Social conflict in society is influenced by various factors, including differences in interests, differences in values ​​and beliefs, social inequality, rapid social change, misunderstandings in communication, and weak law enforcement. These factors are interrelated and can increase the potential for conflict if not managed properly. Therefore, efforts to prevent social conflict require a comprehensive approach, such as increasing dialogue between community groups, strengthening the legal system, and reducing social inequality.
