Abstract

The aging process brings physical and psychological changes that can impact on the mental health of the elderly. Anxiety is often triggered by the death of a loved one, which can lead to feelings of loneliness. Elderly individuals with high levels of religiosity exhibit better attitudes, are satisfied with their lives, and experience less loneliness. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between religiosity and psychological well-being among elderly individuals at the Tanjung Elderly Community Health Post (Posyandu Lansia) in Bendo Village. The study design employed a correlational cross-sectional approach. The sampling technique used purposive sampling, selecting 60 respondents from a population of 75. The research instruments used a religiosity questionnaire and the Ryff's Psychological Well-Being Scale. Statistical tests used Spearman's rho with a significance level of 0.05. The results showed that the majority (76.7%) of respondents had high levels of religiosity and the majority (65%) had high levels of psychological well-being. The analysis yielded a p-value of 0.000 ≤ 0.05 and a coefficient between variables of 0.669, indicating a high correlation between religiosity and psychological well-being in the elderly at the Tanjung Elderly Posyandu in Bendo Village. The higher the elderly's religiosity, the higher their psychological well-being. The concept of surrender and emotional and psychological calm that results from a positive interaction with God impacts both physical and mental health. A well-conditioned environment with spiritual activities can support seniors in living well.

Abstract

Saluang belum (Luvunga sarmentosa Kurz) is a member of the endemic plants of Central Kalimantan, which the local community has traditionally used as a traditional medicine to cure several kinds of diseases. Characterization of the ethanolic extract of Saluang belum root is needed to facilitate the consistency of safety and quality. Therefore, this research needs to be carried out to complete the data on the characterization of the ethanolic extract of Saluang belum root. The material used is Saluang belum root collected from Palangkaraya, Central Kalimantan, Indonesia. There is no standard for Saluang belum extract. The results showed that name of the extract was Sarmentosa radix extractum; Indonesian name was Saluang belum; Latin name was Luvunga sarmentosa Kurz; part that used was root; reddish dark brown colour; typical smell; bitter flavour; contains carbohydrate, allylic alcohol and terpenoid compounds; density 0,82 g/ml; water content 4,865%; total ash content 1,74%; acid insoluble ash content 0,31%, negative residual solvent; Pb contamination 3,206 mg/kg; Cd contamination <0,001 mg/kg; total plate count 1,0 x 102 colonies/g; mold contamination 1,0 x 102 colonies/g; yeast contamination < 1,0 x 100 colonies/g.

Abstract

Terakhir tiap sumuran ditambahkan stopper SDS sebanyak 100µl. Kata kunci: Ipomoea reptans, sitotoksisitas, SNEDDS  ABSTRACT Kangkong (Ipomea reptans Poir) is a type of Indonesian plant empirically utilized by many people to treat diabetes mellitus (DM). A study has been conducted to obtain scientific data from the use of kangkong for DM treatment as well as to develop kangkong in SNEDDS preparation. This current study aimed to examine the cytotoxicity of kangkong leaf standardized extract in SNEDDS preparation through the MTT (Methyl-Thiazolyl-Tetrazolium) method. MTT assay was performed by initially plotting well plates for test sample (70 wells), control cell (6 wells), and control medium (6 wells). As much as 100µl SDS stopper was added into each well, and then plates were wrapped in aluminum foil and incubated all night at ambient temperature. On the following day, the absorbance of test sample, control medium, and control cell was identified using ELISA reader. The cytotoxicity test of kangkong SNEDDS on Vero cell lines showed that kangkong SNEDDS did not cause cell death. The cell was tested through exposure of excipient sample from kangkong SNEDDS as a comparison, resulting in <50% cell death by the two highest concentrations of excipient sample. However, the test result of kangkong SNEDDS indicated that excipient toxicity at such concentrations did not affect kangkong SNEDDS. Therefore, based on in vitro test, kangkong SNEDDS is not toxic against Vero cell lines. Keywords: Ipomoea reptans, cytotoxicity, SNEDDS

Abstract

This study aims to analyze public sentiment toward the PP Tunas policy regarding child protection in digital spaces through the hashtag #PPTunas on social media. The research employed a descriptive qualitative method with a netnographic approach. Data were collected using Brand24 from conversations on X and TikTok during March - April 2026. The findings show that positive sentiment dominated at 59%, while negative sentiment reached 41%. Positive sentiment was mainly driven by official institutions and mass media that framed support for the policy. In contrast, negative sentiment emerged from personal accounts highlighting concerns about privacy, digital surveillance, and the importance of digital literacy for children and parents. The study indicates that public opinion regarding PP Tunas is strongly influenced by media roles and government communication strategies in shaping perceptions within digital spaces.
