Abstract

This Program aims to improve the competence and abilities of teachers at the Online Business and Marketing Subject Teacher Consultation (MGMP) in Surabaya in the field of business communication. The method of implementing the activities is through training and mentoring. The era of competitive digital transformation makes the demands of the times grow rapidly. Problems that often occur are always related to the communication that will be faced. If business communication is inappropriate or has errors, it will negatively impact a company or organization. It's time to build better business communication than before because in it you will find effective forms of communication in the business world and various forms of promotion that create great opportunities in doing business. In the economic aspect, this business communication training will make it possible to find effective business communication, so that it can become a source of income in improving the economic condition of teachers.

Abstract

This research aims to reveal the attitude of Tax Compliance in Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Batam, with the independent variables of tax knowledge and tax technology, in line with the current development of technology-based industries. This research is quantitative research using an open questionnaire of 128 respondents from MSMEs in Batam. This research uses regression analysis with the SPSS application tool. This study shows that partially or simultaneously tax education, online tax registration, online tax reporting, and online tax remittances influence the tax compliance of MSMEs in Batam. Partially, this research reveals that mastery of tax knowledge can increase tax compliance among MSMEs in Batam, where the potential for increasing tax compliance is 65.3%. Besides, the appropriate tax technology that has the most influence on compliance is online tax reporting 78.8%; online tax remittance 75.6%; and online tax registration 70.8% in order of influence on tax compliance from largest to smallest. Then, simultaneous tax education, online tax registration, online tax reporting, and online tax remittances can increase MSME tax compliance in Batam by 68.6%. These findings confirm that there is potential to increase regional income through taxes in Batam by providing special treatment regarding tax education and appropriate tax technology variables to MSMEs.

Abstract

Abstrak: Validitas LKPD dengan Variasi Gamification berbantuan Aplikasi Wordwall: Metode Expert Judgement. Pendidikan harus meningkatkan upaya penyelarasan teknologi dan manusia untuk membuka peluang baru yang lebih kreatif dan inovatif. Pembelajaran di SMKN 1 Jombang masih menunjukkan kurangnya pemanfaatan bahan ajar sehingga mengakibatkan peserta didik kurang minat dan berfokus belajar. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengungkap validitas produk hasil pengembangan bahan ajar Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) dengan variasi gamification berbantuan aplikasi Wordwall. Jenis penelitian pengembangan ini dilakukan dengan metode ADDIE, terfokus pada bagaimana penilaian kelayakan bahan ajar LKPD oleh para ahli, yang terdiri dari ahli materi, ahli bahasa, dan ahli media. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bahan ajar LKPD dinilai sangat layak oleh para ahli dengan nilai rata-rata 89%. Penilaian ahli materi 96%, penilaian ahli bahasa 79%, dan penilaian ahli media 92%. Dengan demikian, dapat dikatakan bahwa bahan ajar LKPD layak digunakan peserta didik. Bahan ajar yang valid dan layak menurut ahli diharapkan dapat membantu peserta didik mencapai tujuan pembelajaran yang ditetapkan.Kata kunci: Expert Judgement; Gamifikasi; LKPD; Wordwall; Abstract: Validity of LKPD with Gamification Variations Assisted by Wordwall Application: Expert Judgement Method. Educational institutions must enhance their efforts to integrate technology with human endeavors to foster innovation. At SMKN 1 Jombang, inadequate use of teaching materials has led to a decline in student interest and focus. This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of developing Learner Worksheets (LKPD) with gamification features using the Wordwall application. The research employed the ADDIE method to assess the feasibility of these materials from the perspectives of material experts, linguists, and media experts. The findings revealed that the LKPD teaching materials were highly feasible, with an overall expert rating of 89%. Specifically, material experts gave a rating of 96%, linguists 79%, and media experts 92%. The study concluded that the LKPD teaching materials are suitable for student use. These validated and expert-approved materials are expected to help students achieve the desired learning objectives by increasing engagement and focus.Keyword: Expert Judgement; Gamification; LKPD; Wordwall;

Abstract

This study aims to examine how the process of problem-based learning emphasizes creativity, cooperative learning, critical thinking, and idea development. The instruments used in these assessments cannot reflect the principles inherent in the problem-based learning method, which prioritizes contextual and daily-life applications. The objectives of this study aim to validate the developed product using ADDIE model, focusing on the outcomes of assessments by instrument and learning evaluation experts. The results of this study showed that the assessment instrument was categorized as very feasible by experts with an average score of 4.59 of 5 as maximum score. The learning evaluation expert assessment score was 4.71, and the instrument expert assessment was 4.47. Thus, it can be stated that the products developed are valid and suitable for use by target group. Valid and feasible instruments are expected to provide more accurate student learning assessment results according to learning objectives.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the competitiveness value of Indonesia's exports in plantation commodities during 2018 - 2022. This research is motivated by the increasing growth in the production volume of Indonesian plantation commodities, so it is necessary to examine whether this growth is also accompanied by the value of competitiveness in the international market. This research uses import-export data obtained from the United Nation Commodity Trade and the Revealed Comparative Advantage (RCA) analysis method. The research results show that Indonesian exports of palm oil, rubber, copra and coffee consistently have high competitiveness in the international market. However, clove and pepper commodities will experience a decline or low competitiveness in 2022 with values ​​of 0.2 and 0.9. The competitiveness of Indonesia's exports in plantation commodities remained strong during the pandemic and was able to become a pillar of the economy. This indicates that the government needs to pay attention to the plantation sector in a sustainable manner

Abstract

Objective:  The integrity zone is an effort to build a work culture that upholds honesty, a strong commitment to upholding justice, and is free from corruption, collusion and nepotism practices. Surabaya State University is one of the institutions that has been entrusted to implement the integrity zone by the Minister of Education of the Republic of Indonesia. The purpose of this study is to analyze the problems in implementing the integrity zone in the faculty and to analyze the level of innovation applied in the faculty. The obstacles and level of innovation faced by the faculty at Surabaya State University are the things that will be studied in this study. Method: This study uses a qualitative method with a multi-case approach. Result: Based on the results of the study, a summary of the problems faced in implementing the integrity zone in the faculty was obtained, namely, first, incomplete socialization. Second, there has been no periodic evaluation. Third, lack of supporting facilities. Fourth, low organizational commitment. Fifth, top leaders have not appeared strongly as role models for implementing the basic principles of enforcing institutional integrity. Novelty: The novelty in this study is to examine the implementation of the integrity zone by analyzing the problems in its implementation that can be used as factors or variables in subsequent studies and to capture the extent to which the institution is ready to carry out bureaucratic reform in public services.

Abstract

Phenomenon/Issue:  The issue addressed in the research is the need to add a bank of HOTS (Higher Order Thinking Skills) test instruments to the elements of simple financial management for the MPLB class XI SMK major. Purpose: The purpose of the research is to develop a bank of HOTS test instruments to assess students' abilities in simple financial management for the MPLB class XI SMK major. Novelty: The novelty of the research lies in the development of a test instrument that incorporates HOTS criteria, which aims to improve and familiarize students with higher-level thinking skills when solving tasks and problems, preparing them for both school and work in the industry. Research Methods: The research uses the 4D development model (definition, design, development, and dissemination) and employs Classical Test Theory (CTT) for analysis, including validity, reliability, discriminating power, level of difficulty, and distractor effectiveness. Results: The results showed that 30 out of 40 test items were valid, with a reliability of 0.805 (Cronbach's Alpha). Discriminating power was good for 22 items and fairly good for 8 items. All test items were effective in distracting students from the correct answers, meeting the criteria for validity, reliability, and effectiveness in assessing students' abilities. Research Contributions: The research contributes by providing a set of HOTS test instruments that can measure students' abilities in learning outcomes. The instruments are designed to enhance students' higher-level thinking skills, which are beneficial for their studies in school and future work in the industry.

Abstract

Abstrak: Adaptasi Teknologi untuk Penyimpanan Dokumen Keluarga secara Digital: Studi pada Layanan Publik di Kabupaten SidoarjoPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali adaptasi teknologi, peran teknologi, kesiapan keluarga dalam menyimpan dokumen keluarga secara digital akibat adanya perubahan layanan publik secara digital. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan pendeketan studi kasus pada layanan publik secara digital di Kabupaten Sidoarjo, di mana pengamatan penelitian ini dilakukan di Desa Ponokawan, Kecamatan Krian. Analisis data penelitian ini dengan menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat telah memahami manfaat teknologi digital dengan pengalamannya pada pengurusan layanan public secara digital. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa teknologi memainkan peran penting dalam menyimpan arsip digital keluarga. Selain itu, teknologi mendukung sistem pengarsipan yang lebih baik, yang memungkinkan dokumen diakses kapan saja dan di mana saja, sehingga proses administrasi dapat dilakukan dengan lebih cepat. Dengan menggunakan aplikasi penyimpanan berbasis sistem digital, masyarakat dapat menyimpan dokumen penting secara aman dan terorganisasi. Kata kunci: Adaptasi Teknologi; Penyimpanan Dokumen, Layanan Publik secara DigitalAbstract: Adaptation of Technology for Digital Storage of Family Documents: A Study on Public Services in Sidoarjo RegencyThis study aims to explore the adaptation of technology, the role of technology, and family readiness in storing family documents digitally due to changes in digital public services. This study is a type of qualitative research with a case study approach to digital public services in Sidoarjo Regency, where the observation of this study was conducted in Ponokawan Village, Krian District. Data analysis of this study uses data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results of this study indicate that the community has understood the benefits of digital technology with their experience in managing public services digitally. This study shows that technology plays an important role in storing digital family archives. In addition, technology supports a better archiving system, which allows documents to be accessed anytime and anywhere so that the administrative process can be carried out faster. Abstract

Abstrak: Analisis Butir Soal dengan Classical Test Theory untuk Mengukur Kemampuan Kognitif SiswaPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kelayakan pada butir soal yang digunakan untuk mengukur kemampuan kognitif siswa SMK Manajemen Perkantoran dan Layanan Bisnis (MPLB) pada pembelajaran Praktik Perkantoran. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan menganalisis 50 butir instrumen tes berbentuk pilihan ganda. Analisis data penelitian ini menggunakan classical test theory yang terdiri dari uji validitas, reliabilitas, daya pembeda soal, tingkat kesukaran soal, dan efektivitas pengecoh di mana dianalisis dengan menggunakan SPSS dan Anbuso. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 31 soal yang dapat digunakan dalam mengkur kemampuan kognitif siswa dengan tingkat ketepatan dan keajekan yang baik – valid dan reliabel. Daya pembeda menunjukkan bahwa seluruh soal dapat digunakan dengan kategori daya pembeda baik dan cukup baik. Tingkat kesukaran soal menunjukkan bahwa 6,5% soal dinyatakan sukar, 51% soal dinyatakan mudah, dan 41,9% soal dinyatakan sedang. Terakhir, efektivitas pengecoh menunjukkan bahwa 16 butir soal perlu direvisi pengecohnya apabila digunakan dalam paket soal yang digunakan karena menunjukkan kurang efektifnya alternatif jawaban untuk mengecoh peserta ujian. Kata kunci: Analisis Butir Soal; Classical Test Theory; Memampuan Kognitif; SMK; anajemen Perkantoran dan Layanan BisnisAbstract:Analysis of test item with Classical Test Theory to Measure Students' Cognitive AbilityThis study aims to analyze the feasibility of the items used to measure the cognitive abilities of vocational students of Office Management and Business Services (OMBS) in Office Practice learning. This study is a descriptive study by analyzing 50 items of multiple choice test instruments. The data analysis of this study uses classical test theory which consists of testing the validity, reliability, discriminat power, difficulty level, and distractor effectiveness which are analyzed using SPSS and Anbuso. This study indicate that there are 31 questions that can be used in measuring students' cognitive abilities with a good level of accuracy and reliability – valid and reliable. Discriminat power of test item shows that all questions can be used with good and fairly good discriminant power categories. The difficulty level of the questions showed that 6.5% of the questions were declared difficult, 51% of the questions were declared easy, and 41.9% of the questions were declared moderate. Then, the distractor effectiveness shows that 16 items need to be revised if they are used in the question package used because they show the ineffectiveness of alternative answers to trick participants. Keyword: Analysis of Test Item; Classical Test Theory, Cognitive Ability, Vocational High School, Office Management and Business Services

Abstract

The purpose of this proposal refers to providing knowledge, understanding, and implementation of digital administrative literacy for migrant workers to be wise in using digital media for population administration activities. The presence of migrant workers abroad has its own challenges in storing population documents. One effort to realize this is by conducting training for migrant workers in Malaysia. The method of activity is community education by using training and approaches to targeted partners, implementing training and evaluation. From this activity, data was taken to see the achievement of objectives using questionnaire techniques. Data processing with descriptive analysis provides information that: 1) this training activity is very beneficial for Migrant Workers, 2) migrant workers have increased their digital administrative literacy competencies, 3) there is new knowledge and experience gained by training participants about the use of digital technology in population administration in daily activities, and 4) the attendance rate of activity participants reached 100%
