Abstract

This research aims to describe the critical thinking abilities of SMA Negeri 5 Model Palu students, especially in Linear program material. This research is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The subjects in the research were students with high, medium and low mathematics abilities obtained from the results of report cards who were then given a critical thinking ability test. The research was conducted by interviewing students' test results and conducting time triangulation. The results obtained show that students with high ability fulfill all the indicators of interpretation, analysis, evaluation and inference, while students with medium ability only do not meet one indicator, namely inference, and students with low ability only master two indicators of critical thinking, interpretation and analysis abilities. In conclusion, with the differences in students' critical thinking abilities, teachers should pay attention to the differences in students' abilities to think critically in learning, in this case linear programming. Abstract

This research aims to find: (1) the influence of learning interest on students' mathematics learning outcomes, (2) the influence of learning motivation on students' mathematics learning outcomes, and (3) the influence of learning interest and motivation on students' mathematics learning outcomes. This research was carried out at SMK Yadika Palu. Respondents totaled 139 people consisting of classes XI and XII and were determined using the Proportional Random Sampling technique. The method used is quantitative research with data collection techniques using instruments: (1) Learning Interest Questionnaire, (2) Learning Motivation Questionnaire, and (3) Student Mathematics Learning Outcomes Test. Data were analyzed using primary data obtained directly from students using simple regression analysis and multiple regression analysis. The results of the research show that: (1) There is an influence of Learning Interest on students' Mathematics Learning Outcomes of 3.9%, (2) There is an influence of Learning Motivation on students' Mathematics Learning Outcomes of 4.1%, and (3) There is an influence of Interest and Motivation Learning on student Mathematics Learning Outcomes is 4.2%. In conclusion, there is an influence of interest and learning motivation on students' mathematics learning outcomes which has a positive influence. Keywords: Learning outcomes; Interest; Motivation;

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur hubungan antara Adevrsity Quotient dengan hasil belajar matematika siswa di kelas XI SMAN Model Terpadu Madani Palu. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode penelitian korelasional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI SMAN Model Terpadu Madani Palu. Sebanyak 44 orang siswa dipilih sebagai sampel dengan menggunakan dua teknik sampling, yaitu disproportionate stratified random sampling dan cluster random sampling. Data yang dikumpulkan adalah hasil dari pengisian angket Adversity Quotient (AQ) oleh responden, sedangkan data hasil belajar matematika diperoleh melalui teknik dokumentasi. Data dianalisis dengan mengguakan teknik korelasi regresi. Hasil analisis data menunjukan koefisien korelasi antara variabel Adversity Quotient dengan variabel hasil belajar matematika sebesar , dan . Jadi, dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara Adversity Quotient dengan hasil belajar matematika Siswa Kelas XI SMAN Model Terpadu Madani Palu. Koefisien determinasi yang diperoleh yaitu menunjukkan bahwa Adversity Quotient memberikan pengaruh sebesar 43,1% terhadap hasil belajar matematika, dan pengaruh sebesar 56,9% diberikan oleh variabel lain. Kata kunci: Adversity Quotient, Hasil Belajar, Matematika. Abstract: The aim of this research is to measure the relationship between Adevrsity Quotient and mathematics achievement of the eleventh grade students of SMAN Model Terpadu Madani Palu. With quantitative approach, the method that was used in this research is correlational method. The population of this research is all eleventh grade students of SMAN Model Terpadu Madani Palu. 44 students was selected as the sample through the using of two sampling techniques, i.e. disproportionate stratified random sampling and cluster random sampling. The data was collected from the Adversity Quotient questionnaires that was answered by the students as the respondents, and the mathematics achievement data was collected by documentation technique. The data was analyzed using correlation regression techniques. The results of the data analysis showed the correlation coefficient between Adversity Quotient and mathematics achievement was r = 0,657, and . Thus, it can be concluded that there is significant correlation between AQ and mathematics achievement of the eleventh grade students of SMAN Model Terpadu Madani Palu. Whereas the determination coefficient was 0,431. This means that Adversity Quotient give influence of 43,1% toward mathematics achievement, and the other 56,9% is influenced by other variables. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan jenis-jenis kesalahan yang dilakukan oleh siswa kelas IX dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita keliling dan luas lingkaran. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian diambil tiga siswa dari 55 siswa kelas IX yang mengikuti tes. Siswa dikelompokkan dalam tiga kategori yakni siswa berkemampuan tinggi, siswa berkemampuan sedang dan siswa berkemampuan rendah. Setiap kategori diwakili oleh satu siswa. Hasil penelitian ini adalah (1) Jenis kesalahan yang dilakukan oleh subjek berkemampuan tinggi dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita keliling dan luas lingkaran adalah kesalahan fakta, kesalahan konsep dan kesalahan prinsip. (2) Jenis kesalahan siswa berkemampuan sedang adalah kesalahan fakta, kesalahan konsep dan kesalahan prosedural. (3) Jenis kesalahan siswa berkemampuan rendah adalah kesalahan fakta, kesalahan konsep, kesalahan prosedural dan kesalahan prinsip. Subjects were taken 3 students of grade IX, they were 55 students who took the test. The criteria are high ability student, medium ability student and low ability student. Each category is repreented by one student. Based on the result of research, students error in completing word problems of circumference and circle area were: (1) the type of errors made by a subject high ability student are fact error, misconceptions, and principle error. (2) the type or errors made by a subject medium ability student are fact error, misconceptions, and procedurall error. (3) the type errors made by a subject low ability student are fact error, misconceptions, procedural error, and principle error. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh deskripsi penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif numbered head together (NHT) yang dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi faktorisasi aljabar di kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Marawola. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Rancangan penelitian mengacu pada desain penelitian Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart yakni (1) perencanaan, (2) pelaksanaan tindakan, (3) observasi, dan (4) refleksi. Subjek penelitian yaitu seluruh siswa kelas VIIIB SMP Negeri 1 Marawola tahun ajaran 2015/2016 yang terdiri dari 13 siswa perempuan dan 7 siswa laki-laki. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif NHT hasil belajar siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Marawola pada materi faktorisasi aljabar meningkat sesuai kriteria keberhasilan tindakan mengikuti fase-fase NHT, yaitu: 1) persiapan siswa dan penyampaian tujuan pembelajaran, 2) penyajian informasi, 3) penomoran, 4) pengajuan pertanyaan (questioning), 5) berpikir bersama (heading together), 6) pemberian jawaban (answering), dan 7) pemberiaan penghargaan. Kata kunci: kooperatif tipe NHT, hasil belajar, faktorisasi aljabar. Abstract: This research was aimed at gaining the description of the implementation of cooperative learning model numbered head together (NHT) that can improve the students’ achievement in algebra factoring in grade VIII SMP Negeri 1 Marawola. This research was the class action research (CAR). The research design referred to the research design proposed by Kemmis and Mc. Taggart in which (1) planning, (2) action, (3) observation, and (4) reflection. The subject of this research was the students of grade VIIIB SMP Negeri 1 Marawola 2015/2016 learning year consisting of 13 girl students and 7 boy students. The results of the study showed that through the implementation of cooperative learing model NHT students learning of grade VIII SMP Negeri 1 Marawola achievement of the material algebra factoring ini accordance success criteria action, referring to the following phases, (1) preparing the students and delivering instructional objective, (2) telling information, (3) numbering, (4) questioning, (5) heading together (6) answering, and (7) rewarding. Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh deskripsi penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Course Review Horay (CRH) yang dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi keliling dan luas persegi panjang di Kelas VII SMP Negeri 2 Marawola. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Penelitian ini mengacu pada desain penelitian Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart, yakni perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam dua siklus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe CRH dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi keliling dan luas persegi panjang, mengikuti langkah-langkah: (1) guru menyampaikan kompetensi yang ingin dicapai, (2) guru menyajikan atau mendemonstrasikan materi sesuai topik dengan tanya jawab, (3) guru membagi siswa dalam kelompok-kelompok, (4) guru meminta siswa membuat kartu atau kotak sesuai dengan kebutuhan, (5) guru membaca soal secara acak dan siswa menuliskan jawabannya di dalam kartu atau kotak yang nomornya disebutkan guru, (6) guru dan siswa mendiskusikan soal yang telah diberikan, (7) siswa memberi tanda check list (√) dan langsung berteriak “horee!!” atau menyanyikan yel-yelnya, (8) guru menghitung nilai siswa dihitung dari jawaban yang benar dan yang banyak berteriak “horee!!” dan (9) guru memberikan reward pada kelompok yang memperoleh nilai tertinggi atau yang paling sering memperoleh “horee!!‟. Kata Kunci: Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Course Review Horay, Hasil Belajar, Keliling dan Luas Persegi Panjang. Abstract: The objective of research was to obtain the description about application of cooperative learning of CRH to improve student’s learning outcomes on circumference and the area of rectangular in class VII SMP Negeri 2 Marawola. The research type at this research is a classroom action research. As the research design refered to the design of the research of Kemmis and Mc. Taggart that is planning, action, observation and reflection. This research was conducted in two cycles. The research of result showed that application the of cooperative learning of Course Review Horay in effort to increase learning results on items circumference and the area of rectangular followed these steps: (1) teacher present a competence to be achieved, (2) teacher present or demonstrate a topical item with question and answer, (3) teacher devide a student’s to groups, (4) teacher aksing student to make a cards or grids as needed. (5) teacher read the questions at random and the students write the answers in the cards or grids whose number is mentioned by teacher, (6) teacher and students discussing the problems who has given. (7) student’s give a check mark (√) and must yell “horee!!” or sing a some yell, (8) teacher accounting student’s value was calculate from correct answer and much yell “horee!”, and (9) teachers gift a reward to group who was get a highest or most yell “horee!!”. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan profil kemampuan siswa level 2 Van Hiele di SMP kelas VIII dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita tentang bangun datar berdasarkan model heuristik Krulik dan Rudnick. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif. Banyak subjek penelitian ini adalah satu siswa kelas VIII SMP yang telah berada pada level 2 perkembangan berpikir Van Hiele. Hasil penelitian ini adalah: 1) tahap membaca dan memikirkan, subjek mampu mengidentifikasi hal-hal yang diketahui melalui kalimat pernyataan dan mampu mengidentifikasi hal yang ditanyakan melalui kalimat perintah, 2) tahap mengeksplorasi dan merencanakan, subjek mampu mencari informasi yang diperlukan dari soal cerita dan mampu mengorganisasikan informasi yang diperoleh guna menemukan hubungannya dengan konsep matematika yang sesuai, 3) tahap memilih suatu strategi penyelesaian, subjek mampu menghubungkan pengetahuan yang dimiliki tentang keliling bangun datar, luas bangun datar dan informasi dari data yang diketahui untuk membuat suatu strategi penyelesaian soal cerita yang sesuai berupa model matematika yang mewakili hubungan antar objek matematika, 4) tahap mencari jawaban, subjek mampu menguasai konsep-konsep yang mendasari model matematika yang dibuat dan mampu menjalankan prosedur aritmatika yang ada pada model matematika secara teliti dan benar dan 5) tahap meninjau kembali jawaban, subjek mampu memeriksa kembali langkah demi langkah hasil pekerjaannya dan subjek mampu melakukan perhitungan ulang kemudian membandingkan hasil yang diperoleh dengan data yang diketahui. Kata kunci: Profil kemampuan, Siswa level 2 Van Hiele, Bangun datar Abstract: This study aimed to describe the profile of the students ability level 2 Van Hiele in junior high school class VIII in solving the story of plane figures based heuristic Krulik and Rudnick. This research is a qualitative research. The subjects were three students of class VIII junior high school who has been at level 2 Van Hiele development thinking. The results of this study were 1) stage of read and think, subjects were able to identify the things that are known through a statement sentences and were able to identify the things that are asked by the sentence order, 2) stage of explore and plan, subjects were able to find the necessary information on the matter of the story and is able to organize the information obtained in order to find a relationship with the corresponding mathematical concepts, 3) stage of select a strategy, subjects were able to connect knowledge about the circumference plane figures, area plane figures and information from the data that are known to create an exit strategy about the story that is appropriate in the form of mathematical models that represent relationships between objects mathematics, 4) stage of find a answer, subjects were able to master the concepts underlying mathematical models created and able to perform arithmetic procedures that exist on mathematical models accurately and correctly and 5) stage look back and extend, subjects were able to re-examine his work step by step and subjects were able to recalculate and then compare the results obtained with the known data. Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini ialah untuk memperoleh deskripsi penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Numbered Heads Together (NHT) yang dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi perbandingan di kelas VII Tulip SMP Negeri 14 Palu. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang mengacu pada desain penelitian Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart, yakni perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII Tulip SMP Negeri 14 Palu dengan jumlah siswa 25 orang. Dari subjek penelitian tersebut dipilih 3 orang informan dengan kemampuan tinggi, sedang dan rendah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Numbered Heads Together (NHT) yang dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi perbandingan di kelas VII Tulip SMP Negeri 14 Palu yaitu dengan mengikuti tahap-tahap sebagai berikut: 1) tahap penyampaian tujuan dan memotivasi siswa, guru menyampaikan tujuan pembelajaran secara lisan dan memotivasi siswa untuk bersemangat dan terlibat aktif dalam pembelajaran, 2) tahap penyajian informasi, guru mendeskripsikan secara singkat tentang tahap-tahap model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT, 3) tahap pengorganisasian kelompok belajar dan penomoran, siswa dikelompokkan dalam 5 kelompok belajar dan setiap anggota kelompok diberi nomor yaitu 1, 2, 3, 4 dan 5, 4) tahap pengajuan pertanyaan, guru membagikan LKPD pada masing-masing kelompok, 5) tahap berpikir bersama, siswa diminta untuk mengerjakan LKPD dan berdiskusi bersama untuk memperoleh jawaban yang tepat, 6) tahap pemberian jawaban, siswa yang nomornya diperoleh dari hasil undian mengacungkan tangan dan maju mempresentasikan hasil kerja kelompoknya dan 7) tahap pemberian penghargaan, guru memberikan penghargaan kepada kelompok dalam bentuk tepuk tangan dan pujian. Kata kunci: Numbered Heads Together, hasil belajar, perbandingan. Abstract: The purpose of this research was to obtain a description that applying cooperative learning type Numbered Heads Together (NHT) that can improve scholastic achievement of student’s on comparison material in class VII Tulip SMP Negeri 14 Palu. This research is classroom action research which refers to Kemmis and Mc. Taggart research design that including are planning, acting, observation and reflection. The subject of this research is 25 students of class VII Tulip SMP Negeri 14 Palu. The research subjects chosen from 3 informants with high ability, medium and low. The results of the research showed that the application of cooperative learning type Numbered Heads Together (NHT) can improve scholastic achievement of student’s on comparison material in class VII Tulip SMP Negeri 14 Palu it follow the phases: 1) conveying the learning objective and motivating, teachers verbally conveying learning objectives and motivate students to get excited and be actively involved in learning, 2) presenting information, teachers describe briefly about the phases of cooperative learning type, 3) organizing study group and numbering, students were grouped into 5 study groups and each member of the group was given a number is 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5, 4) questioning, teachers distribute LKPD in each group, 5) heads together, students are asked to do LKPD and discuss together to get the right answer, 6) answering, students whose number obtained from the lottery raised his hand and presented the group's work forward and 7) giving appreciation, teacher give the appreciation to group in the form of applause and praise. Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan metode penemuan terbimbing yang dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi luas permukaan dan volume bangun ruang di kelas VIII SMP Negeri 4 Sigi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Rancangan penelitian ini mengacu pada desain penelitian Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 4 Sigi yang berjumlah 30 siswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam dua siklus. Data pada penelitian ini dikumpulkan melalui lembar observasi, wawancara, catatan lapangan dan tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode penemuan terbimbing yang dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi luas permukaan dan volume bangun ruang, dengan mengikuti langkah-langkah sebagai berikut: 1) perumusan masalah, 2) pemrosesan data dan penyusunan konjektur, 3) pemeriksaan konjektur, 4) verbalisasi konjektur, dan 5) umpan balik. Kind of this research is classroom action research. The design of this research refered to the Kemmis and Mc. Taggart is planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subjects were students of class VIII SMP Negeri 4 Sigi totaling 30 students. This research was conducted in two cycles. Data of this research was collected through observation sheet, interview, field note and test. Abstract

Abstrak:Tujuan penelitian ini ialah untuk memperoleh deskripsi penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Numbered Heads Together (NHT) yang dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi garis singgung persekutuan dua lingkaran di kelas VIII MTs Muhammadiyah Nunu. Penelitian ini mengacu pada desain penelitian Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Subjek penelitian ini adalah kelas VIII MTs Muhammadiyah Nunu yang berjumlah 18 orang dan dipilih 3 orang sebagai informan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi garis singgung persekutuan dua lingkaran di kelas VIII MTs Muhammadiyah Nunu yaitu dengan mengikuti fase-fase sebagai berikut:1) fase penyampaian tujuan dan pemotivasian siswa,2) fase penyajian informasi, 3) fase pengorganisasian kelompok belajar dan penomoran, 4) fase pengajuan pertanyaan atau permasalahan, 5) fase berpikir bersama, 6) fase pemberian jawaban, 7) fase pemberian penghargaan. Katakunci:Numbered Heads Together; hasil belajar; garis singgung persekutuan dua lingkaran. Abstract:The purpose of this research was to obtain a description that applying Cooperative Learning Type Numbered Heads Together (NHT) that can improve student’s learning outcomes on Length Tangent Line to Two Circles material in Class VII MTs Muhammadiyah Nunu. This research is classroom action research which refers to Kemmis and Mc. Taggart.This research was conducted in two cycles. The subjects of this research were 18 students on class of VIII MTs Muhammadiyah Nunu. Three of them were chosen as informants.
