Evaluating the availability of irrigation water is a paramount phase in planning and managing an irrigation network system. This research aimed to calculate the availability and demand of irrigation water in the area of Blang Rongka, Timang Gajah Subdistrict, Bener Meriah District. Blang Rongka irrigation waters 81 hectares of rice fields from the Peusangan watershed. There are 408 households in Blang Rongka Village, with an estimated population of 1.418 people, consisting of 743 men and 675 women, with 43% of the population working as farmers. The data used in this research were primary and secondary. Preliminary data includes flow velocity, channel dimension, and a set of questionnaires. Secondary data includes irrigation network schemes, topography, demographics, and climate data. In addition, we also measure water discharge using the buoy method (manual) by finding the cross-sectional area and flow velocity. This research showed that the average value of water availability is compatible with the cropping pattern (paddy – palawija – paddy). The level of farmers’ satisfaction with irrigation was 80% while the level of water adequacy was 85%. Stunting merupakan permasalahan gizi yang harus segera di tuntaskan di Indonesia agar menghasilkan generasi cerdas dan berkualitas. Pemerintah mengupayakan untuk percepatan penurunan angka stunting di Indonesia dengan mengeluarkan Peraturan Presiden Republik Indonesia Nomor 72 Tahun 2021 tentang percepatan penurunan stunting. Hasil survei awal dan diskusi dengan bidan Desa Cot Keumudee terdapat 4 (empat) orang balita yang mengalami stunting. Stunting yang terjadi di desa Cot Keumudee disebabkan kurangnya pengetahuan masyarakat khususnya orang tua tentang gizi untuk kesehatan anak. Berdasarkan hal tersebut kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat tentang edukasi pemanfaatan daun kelor sangat penting dilakukan agar kejadian balita stunting bisa di atasi di Desa Cot Keumudee. Edukasi ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman kepada masyarakat tentang manfaat pemberian daun kelor kepada balita stunting serta memberdayakan masyarakat untuk menanam pohon kelor sehingga dapat dipergunakan dalam pemenuhan nutrisi kehidupan sehari-hari. Peserta kegiatan 47 orang ibu balita stunting dengan metode pelaksanaan penyuluhan dan pemantauan pada balita stunting. Hasil Pretest mayoritas berada pada kategori kurang yaitu sebanyak 18 orang (38,30%) dan kategori cukup sebanyak 17 orang (36,17%). Sedangkan hasil Posttest mayoritas berada pada kategori baik yaitu sebanyak 20 orang (42,55%) dan kategori sangat baik dan cukup sebanyak 10 orang (21,28%).

Kegiatan pengabdian akademik tentang Penerapan Konsep Green Building dalam Konservasi Sumberdaya Air di Waduk Lhok Batee Desa Seuneubok Lhong Kecamatan Jeumpa Kabupaten Bireuen ini bertemakan “Penerapan teknik konservasi vegetatif (penanaman pohon) pada kawasan Agrowisata di wilayah Lhok Batee-Bireuen”. Kegiatan dilaksanakan dalam 3 tahapan yaitu persiapan, pelaksanaan dan pelaporan. Hasil yang dicapai dari pengabdian ini adalah (1) pemahaman dan kesadaran masyarakat pengelola kawasan wisata Lhok Batee terhadap pentingnya menjaga kelestarian alam, (2) penerapan ilmu teknik konservasi tanah dan air kepada masyarakat pengelola kawasan agrowisata, dam (3) terciptanya masyarakat yang peduli terhadap lingkungan dengan pengeloaan kawasan agrowisata yang tepat. Waste become one of the undermined issues faced in many countries, including Indonesia. Meureudu City in Aceh Province, Indonesia, is currently under development process to optimize its waste management. The waste issue in the city originated from the insufficient waste retribution cost. This study aims to analyze Willingness to Pay (WTP) in the case of waste generation. We use a survey method by conducting field observation with the community of Meureudu City as our sample, which amounted to 110 respondents. Our study showed that female housewife is the main gender in household waste management. Factors of the age group of 31-40 years (35%), bachelor and diploma education level (42%), high income, and family member > 4 persons (28%) are affecting the WTP. We also managed to gather information on the average waste of Meureudu City which amounted to 1,5 kg/person/day, exceeding the Ministerial Law of Environmental and Forestry (0,7 kg/person/day). Our study revealed the average WTP for waste management by the community of Mereudu City is IDR 9.218,18/household, which is higher compared to the regulated retribution cost. The prevalence of stunting in Indonesia still really needs attention from all sectors, even though there has been a decline in the last decade, the figure is in the highest category among countries in Southeast Asia. Objective: This research was conducted with the aim of analyzing the spatial distribution of stunting incidents in Bireuen Regency. Method: This research is an analytical descriptive observational study with an ecological study design and using a spatial epidemiology approach. Researchers use Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and spatial analysis based on secondary data. Spatial analysis in this study was used to determine the distribution pattern of stunting and spatial correlation with the incidence of stunting in Bireuen Regency. Results: Based on spatial mapping analysis carried out in the Regency, it was found that the highest prevalence of stunting occurred in 2022, showed that the prevalence of stunting is in the very high category (in red), namely there are 3 villages with a percentage (>40%) spread across Jeumpa and Peusangan Regencies (figure 7). However, the largest number of locus villages were found in 2023 with a total of 50 villages (figure 5). Conclusions: Based on spatial analysis, the results showed that the prevalence of stunting from 2021-2023 was very high in 2022, namely there were 3 villages with a percentage (>40%) spread across Jeumpa and Peusangan Districts. However, the largest number of locus villages were found in 2023 with 50 villages. The Bireuen Regency Government continues to strive to prevent stunting so that the next generation in Bireuen Regency becomes a smart and high-quality generation capable of competing globally.

banjir bandang yang terjadi di Bukit Lawang Bahorok menewaskan sekitar 300 jiwa dan menghancurkan 400 bangunan, banjir bandang Wasior pada tahun 2000 menyebabkan kematian 150 orang dan banjir bandang Jember tahun 2006 menewaskan lebih dari 100 orang. Curah hujan ekstrem dengan intensitas tinggi yang disertai terjadinya kegagalan lereng (slope failure) punggung badan air yang menyebabkan terjadinya damming di saluran air merupakan karakteristik utama dari banjir bandang, Dampak tersebut menyebabkan banjir bandang terjadi sangat cepat flash dan membawa bahan rombakan (debris flow). Penelitian metodologi pendekatan kerentanan banjir bandang adalah pendekatan analisis dimensi fisik. Metode Multi dimensi Metode Multi dimensi mengabungkan kerentanan internal (sosial) dan kerentanan eksternal (bangunan), dimana kerentanan internal adalah berupa komponen kerentanan individu seperti elemen-elemen berisiko, paparan fisik, karakteristik sosial dan kelembagaan yang bertanggungjawab atas paparan. Pendekatan analisis kerentanan fisik memerlukan data elemen berisiko yang terpapar yaitu karakteristik bangunan yang terpapar (jenis bangunan, jumlah lantai, luas, bahan konstruksi yang digunakan dan tahun konstruksi), nilai/harga bangunan berdasarkan ukuran/denah bangunan.

quantitative understanding of hydrological behavior watershed can be known from soil and climate characteristics. Soil characteristics were analyzed based on primary data from disturbed soil sampling to determine the soil texture class. The Texture Class was analyzed in the Soil Laboratory Bogor Agricultural Institute and classified by the USDA method. Climate characteristics of watershed Tamiang were analyzed using observational rainfall data and temperature data, to identify rain patterns, climate types, and the influence of ENSO and IOD on the Tamiang watershed. Climatic types are classified by the Schmidt-Ferguson, Oldeman and Koppen methods. The effect of ENSO and IOD on the regional climate of watershed Tamiang was analyzed using the climate explorer tool. As a result of the soil texture analysis, watershed Tamiang is dominated by clay texture. The characteristic rain pattern is equatorial with peak rainy seasons of May and October. The influence of ENSO's global climate on the regional climate of the Tamiang watershed is in the weak category with a correlation of -0.347, while the influence of IOD is very weak with a correlation of 0.089.

tujuan penulisan artikel ini adalah untuk mengkaji aspek–aspek keterbatasan sumberdaya mangrove yang tersedia di alam sekitar, maupun kerentanan spesies mangrove dalam interaksinya dengan manusia (konservatif maupun eksploitatif). Metode penulisan bersifat narrative literature review, dengan kajian yang membahas 4 (empat) determinan keterbatasan sumberdaya mangrove itu berupa: (1). Keterbaruan; (2) Kelangkaan; (3). Kerusakan; dan (4). Kepunahan. Mangrove, tanaman ajaib yang hanya tumbuh di kawasan air payau yang dipengaruhi pasang surut air laut tersebut, diketahui memberi banyak sekali manfaat kepada manusia; baik secara fisika, kimiawi, biologis maupun sosio–ekonomis. Mangrove sejak awal merupakan vegetasi dalam jumlah terbatas, Habitatnya terus terdesak oleh manusia untuk diambil manfaat kayunya, serta mengubah paksa ruang hidupnya untuk komoditas lain seperti udang, ikan, maupun sawit. Abstrak, Permasalahan yang sering terjadi adalah kerusakan infrastruktur atau asset irigasi yang berdampak pada kinerja jaringan irigasi. Penilaian asset irigasi pada penelitian ini meliputi penilaian kondisi dan fungsi pada Saluran irigasi Blang Rongka yang terletak di kecamatan Timang gajah kabupaten Bener Meriah. Penilaian asset irigasi meliputi penilaian kondisi dan fungsi asset secara langsung berdasarkan ketetapan parameter yang digunakan sebagai acuan penilaian, kemudian nilai kondisi dan fungsi disubtitusikan dalam rumus prioritas perbaikan sehingga dapat dihasilkan rangking prioritas perbaikan asset irigasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil inventarisasi Saluran irigasi Blang Rongka mengalami kerusakan struktur 192 m, dengan total index kerusakan sebesar 6,5 %. Terdapat fungsi aset irigasi dalam kondisi baik terdapat (2 unit) yaitu BS4 BRK, dan BS5 BRK, sedangkan bangunan dalam kondisi kurang berfungsi terdapat (5 unit) yaitu BS1 BRK, BS2 BRK, BS3 BRK, BS6 BRK dan BS7 BRK. Hasil penetapan rangking prioritas menunjukkan bahwa rangking prioritas pertama adalah bangunan sadap BS1 BRK atau ruas saluran satu Sedangkan untuk rangking terakhir adalah bangunan bagi BB1 BRK atau ruas saluran tiga – ruas saluran tujuh. Sepanjang saluran tersebut, kondisi dan fungsi saluran, bangunan ukur dan pintu air dalam kondisi baik.
