Abstract

Technology advances are growing rapidly and acreated to make it easier for humans to carry out work and activities. Automatic light control or control systems are also increasingly used in community activities and work. To control the lights, people usually still use manual switches that are less efficient because still require movement to control them, this is what makes some people reluctant to turn off the lights and in the end the lights are not turned off and left on. In this modern era, with rapidly developing technology, everything can be controlled automatically or through a remote system. However, people still use manual ways to control lights at home. This automatic light control tool using a Bluetooth-based Arduino Uno microcontroller that can be run by sending commands through the Bluetooth application on a smartphone that is already connected to a Bluetooth connection. Furthermore, the data is received by the Bluetooth HC-05 module to send to the Arduino Uno microcontroller for processing, after the data is forwarded to the Relay module which is connected directly to the lamp as an output from a Bluetooth-based automatic light controller.Keywords: Automatic light controller, Arduino Uno, Bluetooth HC-05, Relay, Smartphone.

Abstract

In tandem with the contemporary temporal progression, technology has undergone rapid advances, with electronics emerging as pivotal agents in the evolution of domiciliary comfort systems. Ambient illumination pervades as a fundamental facet of quotidian human existence. Presently, the administration of luminal states predominantly adheres to manual toggles, a methodology that bespeaks inefficacy, given its entreaty for human intervention. In acknowledgment of the constraints of manual toggles, a lacuna emerges for an innovative panacea manifesting as an autonomous luminosity modulation system, enacting either automated luminosity control or facilitating telesthetic governance. Consequentially, the instantiation materializes as an automated luminosity modulator. This modulator is subjugated into an amalgamation of pivotal constituents, encompassing the smartphone, Arduino UNO microcontroller, relay module, and HC-05 Bluetooth module. Emanating luminosity entails the smartphone's issuance of directives to the Arduino, by virtue of the HC-05 Bluetooth interlinkage, thereby activating the relay module—effectuating its role as a switch—to regulate luminous intensity congruent with the smartphone's mandates. This orchestration augments not only the optimization of domestic luminosity administration but also a noteworthy curtailment of human agency necessitated in the orchestration of this quotidian enterprise. The efficacious instantiation of the automated luminosity modulator harbors propitious prospects for an efficacious trifecta: energy efficiency, hedonic amplification, and quotidien convenience. By obviating dependence on manual toggles and conferring judicious control, the technology has the capacity to mitigate unwarranted energy dissipation resultant from idle luminosity states. Moreover, user satisfaction is engendered by circumventing the need to locate physical toggles, obviated by the omnipresence of the smartphone. The utility of the HC-05 Bluetooth module in this instantiation confers long-distance luminosity manipulation, an asset acutely advantageous in circumstances mandating remote luminosity control, notably instances entailing illumination manipulation pre-entry or post-egress. Ergo, this system augments not only quotidian convenience but also the malleability requisite for bespoke luminosity administration. In summation, the automated luminosity modulator epitomizes affirmative technological strides catalyzing enhanced domestic comfort and efficiency. By streamlining luminosity administration and attenuating human involvement therein, this technological innovation forges a trajectory toward an enlightened and eco-friendly lifestyle paradigm.

Abstract

AbstrakTim Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) Universitas Singaperbangsa Karawang telah mengadakan pelatihan penggunaan Google Drive dan  Google Formulir kepada staff kantor Desa Sungaibuntu Kecamatan Pedes Kabupaten Karawang, agar dapat memberikan layanan yang lebih mudah dan aman untuk masyarakat. Pelatihan ini diadakan karena sistem penyimpanan data desa masih bergantung pada media lokal seperti flashdisk dan hardisk, yang rentan terhadap kehilangan data dan serangan virus. Mitra sasaran dalam pelatihan ini adalah staf kantor Desa Sungaibuntu, dengan jumlah peserta sebanyak 20 orang yang terlibat aktif selama kegiatan berlangsung. Tim PKM memberikan pelatihan Google Form untuk membantu staff kantor desa mengelola layanan masyarakat di bagian administrasi dengan membuat formulir online yang praktis untuk pendaftaran dan pengumpulan data. Selain itu, pelatihan Google Drive ditujukan untuk memanfaatkan penyimpanan dan cadangan data desa secara cloud, sehingga data dapat diakses dengan mudah dan aman kapan saja dan di mana saja. Metode pelatihan menggabungkan penyampaian materi dengan praktik langsung, yang terbukti efektif dalam membantu peserta memahami dan menerapkan Google Form dan Google Drive dalam tugas sehari-hari. Kata kunci: sosialisasi; pelatihan; google drive; google form. AbstractThe Community Service Team (PKM) Singaperbangsa Karawang University conducted training on the use of Google Drive and Google Forms for the staff of the Sungaibuntu Village Office in Pedes District, Karawang Regency, to enable them to provide easier and safer services to the community. This training was initiated because the village's data storage system still relies on local media such as flash drives and hard disks, which are prone to data loss and virus attacks. The target partners for this training were the staff of the Sungaibuntu Village Office, with 20 participants actively involved throughout the program. The PKM team provided Google Forms training to assist village officials in managing community services in the administrative sector by creating practical online forms for registration and data collection. Additionally, the Google Drive training was aimed at utilizing cloud-based storage and backup for village data, allowing data to be accessed easily and securely anytime and anywhere. The training method combined material delivery with hands-on practice, which proved effective in helping participants understand and apply Google Forms and Google Drive in their daily tasks. Keywords: sosialization; training; google drive; google forms.

Abstract

AbstrakPelatihan Pembuatan Ecobrick sebagai Solusi Cerdas dan Kreatif dalam Mengurangi Sampah Plastik Rumah Tangga di Desa Waluya dilaksanakan pada bulan Agustus 2023 dengan jumlah peserta sebanyak 35 orang, menjadi langkah praktis dalam menghadapi meningkatnya permasalahan sampah plastik. Desa Waluya menghadapi tantangan terkait manajemen sampah plastik di tingkat rumah tangga. Pelatihan ini memiliki tujuan yaitu meningkatkan pemahaman masyarakat akan dampak negatif sampah plastik dan memberikan keterampilan praktis dalam pembuatan Ecobrick. Selain itu, pendekatan ini dirancang untuk membangkitkan sikap peduli lingkungan dan merangsang kreativitas dalam mengelola sampah plastik. Hasil yang diharapkan mencakup pengurangan signifikan sampah plastik di Desa Waluya. Pemberdayaan masyarakat melalui pelatihan ini diharapkan dapat menciptakan lingkungan yang lebih bersih, berkelanjutan, dan meningkatkan kualitas hidup secara keseluruhan. Dengan demikian, pelatihan Ecobrick di Desa Waluya ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan ecobrick dengan menggunakan botol berukuran 300-600 ml dapat menjadi solusi yang efektif dalam mengelola sampah plastik secara kreatif dan ramah lingkungan. Dengan pendekatan yang tepat dalam komunikasi dan demonstrasi kepada masyarakat, praktik ini memiliki potensi untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan partisipasi dalam praktik ramah lingkungan serta pengelolaan sampah plastik di lingkungan sekitar. Kata kunci: ecobrick; sampah plastik; pelatihan; pemberdayaan masyarakat; desa waluya. AbstractThe Ecobrick Making Training as a Smart and Creative Solution to Reduce Household Plastic Waste in Waluya Village was conducted in August 2023 with 35 participants, serving as a practical step in addressing the increasing problem of plastic waste. Waluya Village faces challenges related to plastic waste management at the household level. This training aims to increase community understanding of the negative impacts of plastic waste and provide practical skills in Ecobrick making. Additionally, this approach is designed to foster environmental concern and stimulate creativity in managing plastic waste. The expected outcomes include a significant reduction in plastic waste in Waluya Village. Empowering the community through this training is expected to create a cleaner, more sustainable environment and improve overall quality of life. Thus, the Ecobrick training in Waluya Village demonstrates that using Ecobricks with 300-600 ml bottles can be an effective solution for creatively and environmentally managing plastic waste. Abstract

Traditional hydroponic systems largely rely on manual observation and regulation of essential environmental variables, such as pH, nutrient concentration, temperature, and humidity. This dependence often causes inefficiency, inconsistent crop quality, and greater labor requirements. To overcome these limitations, this study proposes an IoT-based Smart Hydroponic System that integrates fuzzy logic control with computer vision using the SSD MobileNet architecture. The objective of this research is to design and implement an intelligent automation framework capable of improving hydroponic cultivation through continuous data monitoring, analytical decision-making, and autonomous environmental adjustment. Within this framework, fuzzy logic dynamically stabilizes nutrient and pH levels, while the SSD MobileNet model analyzes plant images to classify growth stages and determine harvest readiness. Experimental testing produced an average classification loss of 0.1283, demonstrating reliable detection accuracy. Compared with conventional methods, the proposed integration enhances adaptability, precision, and computational efficiency for edge-level IoT applications. This system introduces a novel and scalable approach to precision agriculture, enabling more effective automation and decision making in hydroponic farming. Future studies are encouraged to expand their implementation to various plant species and adaptive learning models for broader applicability.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis efektivitas penggunaan kapasitas capasitor bank pada sistem distribusi pembangkit listrik 2 PT. TMMIN. Fokusnya adalah menganalisis desain awal kebutuhan bank kapasitor pada setiap panel di lini produksi gardu induk, meliputi Pengecatan, Perakitan dan Pengelasan, untuk meningkatkan kebutuhan bank kapasitor sesuai standar teori kelistrikan. Metode perhitungan Faktor Daya digunakan untuk mengukur kapasitas bank kapasitor yang dibutuhkan. Faktor daya dipengaruhi oleh jenis beban listrik yang bersifat resistif, induktif, atau kapasitif, yang nilainya berkisar antara 0 hingga 1. Faktor daya yang mendekati 1 menunjukkan daya aktif yang tinggi dan kualitas daya listrik yang lebih baik, sedangkan faktor daya yang mendekati 1 menunjukkan daya aktif yang tinggi dan kualitas daya listrik yang lebih baik, sedangkan faktor daya yang mendekati 0 menunjukkan daya reaktif yang tinggi. mengurangi kualitas daya dan meningkatkan penggunaan energi listrik. Nilai faktor daya arus diperoleh dari kondisi tegangan aktual dan daya aktif, dan nilai bank kapasitor yang dibutuhkan dihitung dengan target faktor daya sebesar 0,9 atau 0,95. Berdasarkan perhitungan, panel yang dapat diperbaiki adalah panel 3, 4, 5, 6 Pengecatan, panel 1 Rakitan, dan panel 1 Pengelasan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 2 panel MDB mencapai kondisi ideal dengan 6 langkah bank kapasitor 2x50kVAR, sedangkan 6 panel MDB lainnya memerlukan tambahan 2 langkah bank kapasitor 2x50kVAR untuk mencapai kondisi ideal.

Abstract

Ketersediaan parkir di lingkungan kampus menjadi permasalahan serius seiring meningkatnya jumlah kendaraan dan keterbatasan lahan parkir, khususnya di Universitas Singaperbangsa Karawang (UNSIKA). Sistem parkir konvensional yang belum terotomatisasi menyebabkan waktu pencarian parkir yang panjang dan inefisiensi operasional. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan MODEPA-8, yaitu model deteksi parkir berbasis YOLOv8 (You Only Look Once), serta menganalisis pengaruh perbedaan jumlah epoch pelatihan terhadap performa deteksi parkir. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian eksperimental kuantitatif dengan pendekatan visi komputer, di mana model dilatih menggunakan dua konfigurasi epoch, yaitu 30 dan 50 epoch, pada dataset citra area parkir kampus UNSIKA. Evaluasi performa dilakukan menggunakan metrik mAP50–95, mAP50, precision, recall, F1 Score, dan Confusion Matrix. Hasil eksperimen menunjukkan bahwa MODEPA-8 dengan pelatihan 30 epoch mencapai mAP50–95 sebesar 0,91862, mAP50 sebesar 0,97516, precision 0,97679, dan recall 0,95186 dengan waktu pelatihan sekitar 5.690 detik. Sementara itu, pelatihan 50 epoch menghasilkan mAP50–95 sebesar 0,92259 dan recall 0,95783, namun membutuhkan waktu pelatihan yang jauh lebih lama, yaitu sekitar 14.143 detik. Selisih peningkatan performa yang kurang dari 1% menunjukkan adanya diminishing returns pada penambahan epoch. Oleh karena itu, MODEPA-8 dengan konfigurasi pelatihan 30 epoch direkomendasikan sebagai solusi paling efisien dan optimal untuk implementasi sistem parkir cerdas di lingkungan kampus.
