Abstract

Jurnal ini membahas tentang permasalahan kemanusiaan dan bagaimana peran agama Islam terhadap kemanusiaan. Islam adalah agama yang di dalamnya berisi keindahan dari segala sisi, termasuk sisi kemanusiaan. Manusia merupakan makhluk sosial yang saling bergantung dan membutuhkan antara satu dengan yang lainnya. Kemanusiaan menempatkan manusia sebagai makhluk yang memiliki hak untuk dihormati, dihargai, dan dilindungi. Oleh sebab itu, kemanusiaan mengajarkan akan pentingnya sikap empati, solidaritas, keadilan, dan juga sikap toleransi antar sesama. Kemanusiaan juga menaruh perhatian terhadap kesejahteraan hidup manusia secara menyeluruh, terhadap permasalahan sosial seperti kemiskinan, ketidakadilan, kekerasan, dan juga diskriminasi. Permasalahan yang melatarbelakangi penulisan jurnal ini mengacu pada penjajahan dan juga genosida yang dilakukan oleh bangsa Israel terhadap bangsa Palestina yang telah melanggar nilai-nilai kemanusiaan dan hak masyarakat Palestina sebagai manusia untuk hidup dengan sejahtera, aman tanpa ancaman maupun kekerasan. Metode yang di pakai dalam penulisan jurnal ini menggunakan metode studi kepustakaan. Yaitu metode yang mengandalkan pendekatan literatur baik berupa buku maupun jurnal.

Abstract

Tentang peranan ulumul Qur'an dalam pembentukan hukum Islam.Ulumul Qur'an, atau ilmu-ilmu yang berkaitan dengan Al-Qur'an, memainkan peranan yang sangat penting dalam pembentukan hukum Islam. Ulumul Qur'an mencakup berbagai disiplin ilmu yang bertujuan untuk memahami, menafsirkan, dan mengaplikasikan isi Al-Qur'an. Beberapa cabang utama Ulumul Qur'an meliputi tafsir, asbabun nuzul (sebab-sebab turunnya ayat), nasikh dan mansukh (ayat yang menghapus dan yang dihapus), serta qira'at (varian bacaan).Dalam pembentukan hukum Islam, Ulumul Qur'an berfungsi sebagai sumber utama untuk mendapatkan petunjuk dan hukum yang ditetapkan Allah. Tafsir Al-Qur'an membantu dalam memahami konteks dan makna ayat-ayat yang bersifat normatif dan legislatif. Asbabun nuzul memberikan konteks sejarah dan situasional yang membantu para ulama dalam menafsirkan ayat-ayat hukum. Nasikh dan mansukh membantu mengidentifikasi ayat-ayat mana yang masih berlaku dan mana yang telah digantikan. Qira'at memperkaya pemahaman melalui varian bacaan yang dapat mempengaruhi interpretasi hukum.

Abstract

Elementary education is a crucial stage in shaping students' character and understanding. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Al-Qur'an-based science learning approach at SDN Pekayon 03 in integrating religious values with scientific concepts. This approach integrates relevant Quranic verses into science learning materials to enhance students' understanding of the relationship between science and spiritual values. The research employs a descriptive qualitative method, using observation, interviews, and documentation as data collection techniques. The findings reveal that this approach enhances students' motivation to learn, broadens their understanding of science concepts, and fosters awareness of the connection between knowledge and the greatness of God. Students become more active, show greater interest in the material, and develop a high sense of curiosity. However, the implementation faces challenges, such as time constraints and the need for integrated teaching resources.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the profile of students' science literacy skills on environmental change material at SMA Negeri 8 Tasikmalaya. This research uses quantitative descriptive method. The population of this study was all X grade SMA Negeri 8 Tasikmalaya which amounted to 12 classes. The sampling technique used purposive sampling with a total sample of 2 classes consisting of 72 students. Science literacy skills used are based on indicators developed by Gormally. The results of research in the field show that in the sub-indicators of science literacy (1) understanding valid scientific arguments obtained a score of 53.88 included in the deficient category, (2) evaluation of validity sources obtained a score of 57.2. (3) evaluating the use and misuse of scientific information obtained a score of 40.8, including into the category of less, (4) understanding the elements of research villages and how they impact scientific findings / conclusions obtained a score of 46.8 including into the category of less, (5) making graphical representations of data obtained a score of 49.3 including into the category of less, (6) reading and interpreting graphical representations of data obtained a score of 54, (7) solving problems using quantitative skills, including probability and statistics obtained a score of 48.61 including into the deficient category, (8) understanding and interpreting basic statistics obtained a score of 53.47 including into the deficient category, (9) justifying conclusions, predictions and conclusions based on quantitative data obtained a score of 52.7 including into the deficient category. To improve students' science literacy skills, it is necessary to use an effective learning model. One of the models that can be used is problem-based learning based on socio-scientific issues. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui profil kemampuan literasi sains peserta didik pada materi perubahan lingkungan di SMA Negeri 8 Tasikmalaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas X SMA Negeri 8 Tasikmalaya yang berjumlah 12 kelas. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 2 kelas yang terdiri dari 72 orang peserta didik. Kemampuan literasi sains yang digunakan berdasarkan indikator yang dikembangkan oleh Gormally. Hasil penelitian di lapangan menunjukkan bahwa pada sub indikator literasi sains  (1) memahami argumen ilmiah yang valid memperoleh skor 53,88 termasuk ke dalam kategori kurang, (2) evaluasi sumber validitas memperoleh skor 57,2. termasuk ke dalam kategori kurang, (3) mengevaluasi penggunaan dan penyalahgunaan informasi ilmiah memperoleh skor 40,8, termasuk ke dalam kategori kurang, (4) memahami unsur-unsur desaun penelitian dan bagaimana dampaknya terhadap temuan/kesimpulan ilmiah memperoleh skor 46,8 termasuk ke dalam kategori kurang, (5) membuat representasi grafis dari data memperoleh skor 49,3 termasuk ke dalam kategori kurang, (6) membaca dan menafsirkan representasi grafis dari data memperoleh skor 54,1 termasuk ke dalam kategori kurang, (7) memecahkan masalah dengan menggunakan keterampilan kuantitatif, termasuk probabilitas dan statistik memperoleh skor 48,61 termasuk ke dalam kategori kurang, (8) memahami dan menginterpretasikan statistik dasar memperoleh skor 53,47 termasuk ke dalam kategori kurang, (9) Membenarkan kesimpulan, prediksi dan kesimpulan berdasarkan data kuantitatif memperoleh skor 52,7 termasuk ke dalam kategori kurang. Untuk meningkatkan kemampuan literasi sains peserta didik, di perlukan penggunaan model pembelajaran yang efektif. Salah satu model yang dapat di gunakan adalah problem based learning berbasis socio-scientific issue.

Abstract

This study investigates the effectiveness of the Spelling City website in improving English spelling skills in writing among ninth-grade students at SMPN 10 Barru. Utilizing a Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach, the research was conducted over two cycles involving 27 students. Quantitative data were collected through pre-test and post-test evaluations, with improvements analyzed using N-gain scores. The findings reveal significant improvements in students' spelling skills, with average pre-test and post-test scores increasing notably between cycles. In Cycle I, students achieved a moderate level of improvement, while in Cycle II, more than 80% of students reached the desired competency level. This improvement highlights the potential of integrating technology-based tools, such as Spelling City, to create an engaging and interactive learning environment. Additionally, the study underscores the role of gamification, instant feedback, and adaptable word lists in motivating students and fostering sustained engagement. These elements not only enhance spelling accuracy but also contribute to better writing skills and greater learning enthusiasm. This research provides valuable insights into the use of web-based educational tools to address specific learning challenges, offering practical implications for teachers, policymakers, and developers of learning technologies.

Abstract

Every wise parent wants their children to be smart and intelligent. The magnitude of these hopes and desires gave rise to the enthusiasm and concern of parents for the activities and efforts to educate their children's needs. The interesting thing is that it accommodates the harmonious relationship between parents, students and the school. Efforts to emphasize strong intelligence are on spiritual intelligence [Spiritual Intelligence]. With reliable spiritual values and intelligence, other aspects of intelligence, namely IQ and Emotional Intelligence (Emotional Intelligence) or IE, can be directed towards self-actualization of humans as servants of Allah and at the same time His caliphs on earth. Spiritual nuances that are developed in educating children increasingly give us confidence that the spiritual and religious values that we adhere to are "real" truths and their functions in living life in the world.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has had a significant impact on various sectors, including the Islamic banking sector. One of the impacts is the increasing cases of default by debtors, especially in micro-financing channeled by institutions such as OCBC NISP Sharia Business Unit. In the context of Islamic law, default is understood as a violation of a valid contract according to sharia, but also provides leniency in emergency conditions such as a pandemic. This study aims to analyze debtor default against OCBC NISP Sharia Business Unit during COVID-19 based on an Islamic law perspective. The study uses a normative legal method with a qualitative approach through a literature study of primary, secondary, and tertiary legal sources. The results of the study show that Islamic law accommodates the principles of justice and welfare in resolving defaults, through approaches such as rescheduling, reconditioning, and restructuring. In addition, the Qur'an emphasizes the need for tolerance towards debtors who are experiencing economic difficulties. Therefore, the implementation of restructuring solutions in sharia financing during the pandemic is a form of implementing fair and civilized sharia principles.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is the implementation of supervision in improving teacher performance. Fun and meaningful learning is formed through the teacher's commitment in developing his performance. A teacher must always improve his professional abilities, knowledge, attitudes and skills continuously according to the development of science and technology including the new paradigm of education. The reality in the field of teachers in Jogoroto Jombang State Elementary School has low performance and insight. This is due to (1) low awareness of teachers to learn, (2) lack of opportunities for teachers to participate in training, both regionally and nationally, (3) the lack of effective PKG, (4) educational supervision aimed at improving the learning process tends to focus on administrative aspects. For the improvement of these conditions through collaborative educational supervision that is carried out periodically. This study uses action research with the number of classroom teacher subjects in SDN Jogoroto Jombang as many as 8 teachers. The research time is in the 1st semester of the 2019-2020 study year. Data collection uses observation and documentation. The results showed that the steps taken in collaborative supervision were as planned and the results were good.

Abstract

Malang is one of the cities designed by Dutch with spesific attention to the aesthetic of urban environments. Kayutangan Street is a historic street corridor which plays a prominent role on the physical development of the city of Malang. In visual architectural context, a row of building facades along the Kayutangan streetscape is the main element of visual beauty and character creation of the characteristic in the Kayutangan corridor. The aims of this research are to investigate the general public and professional in the field of architecture judgment about the role of visual elements to the appearance of modern building facades in Kayutangan corridor, as well as to find out the most influential visual element to the appearance of modern building facades at Kayutangan Street. The method used is quantitative method by the independent sample t-test, factor analysis, and multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that both groups of respondents rating are not much different, on a range of “less important” to “important” assessment scale. The visual components which are the most influential on modern building facades in Kayutangan Street are Geometric Component (architectural style, facade form, horizontal line, and vertical line). The next influential component is Visual Touching Effect & Color Dimension Component (texture, decorative ornament, material, facade color, saturation, brightness)Keywords: visual elements, modern building facade, Kayutangan streetscape

Abstract

This paper discusses Islamic modernism and the development of Islamic intellectualism. The method used is descriptive-analytical method with a historical approach. Its aim is to understand Islamic modernism and the development of Islamic intellectualism. The author finds that: First, Islamic modernism is a renewal of understanding that is more relevant to modern life, interpreting things to open the door of ijtihad and avoid blind adherence to schools of thought by thinking rationally in understanding and reflecting on Islamic teachings. Second, the development of Islamic intellectualism is divided into three eras. Each has a different pattern. The classical era began at the time of the Prophet Muhammad, where the development of Islamic intellectualism was practiced through teaching and education using methods of writing and memorization. In the medieval era, Islamic intellectualism began to flourish. Institutionalization began to emerge through theological movements, Sufism, and schools of thought. Furthermore, in the modern era, there is a struggle within Islamic intellectual tradition. The modern era seeks to eradicate superstition, myths, and innovations that have constrained the Muslim community.
