Abstract

Stunting is one of the nutritional problems currently being faced by Indonesia, especially in the area of Central Sulawesi Province. Based on research in the field, there are several problems. The identification of the problem in this study is that children are the successors of assets in the future, Indonesia, the second country with the highest incidence of stunting in the Southeast Asia region, the incidence of stunting in Central Sulawesi is still above the national average and the lack of awareness of parents, especially mothers in the dangers of stunting. for child development. Efforts are being made to overcome the stunting problem, namely by maintaining the child's diet, parenting by parents as well as sanitation and clean water. The diet in question in this case is a good and sufficient intake of energy and protein in children. Efforts made by the local government are providing additional food and vitamin A for toddlers and food supplements and blood boosters for pregnant women as a way to prevent stunting or stunting due to malnutrition. The pattern of parenting in this case, namely the knowledge of parents about stunting is very lacking. Mothers do not understand the various kinds of intake that must be met for their children. In addition to malnutrition, lack of access to clean water and poor sanitation is also a cause of stunting. On the other hand, a healthy lifestyle in the use of clean water that is applied by the community is very less noticed. This community service activity aims to provide socialization of the dangers of stunting in children. This socialization was attended by about 30 with the speaker dr. Yuli Fitriana, M.K.M. In addition to stunting socialization, the speaker also gave some tips in dealing with child stunting.

Abstract

Apu-apu (Pistia stratiotes L) merupakan tanaman yang tumbuh didaerah tropis dan tumbuh diatas permukaan air yang tenang ataupun mengalir relatif lambat contohnya seperti area pertanian. Umumnya para petani menganggap tanaman apu-apu (Pistia stratiotes L) sebagai hama atau gulma yang menyerap kandungan nutrisi tanaman disekitarnya. Tanaman apu-apu (Pistia stratotes L) dapat tumbuh liar didaerah rawa, sungai, danau atau genangan air, sehingga dianggap dapat menyebabkan kerusakan lingkungan. Hasil skrining fitokimia Ekstrak etanol daun tanaman apu-apu (Pistia stratiotes L.) pada fraksi air dan etil asetat mengandung senyawa flavonoid dilihat dari perubahan warna, sedangkan untuk fraksi n-Heksan tidak mengandung senyawa flavonoid, hal ini dibuktikan dengan uji sinoda perubahan warnayang dilihat. Pada perhitungan Kadar Total Flavonoid yakni fraksi air mengandung senyawa Flavonoid sebesar 0,914 mgQE dalam 10 mg ekstrak sampel, pada fraksi Etil asetat mengandung 1,205 mgQE dalam 10 mg ekstrak sampel.

Abstract

AbstrakKegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertempat di daerah bintaro Ampenan, tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah memperkernalkan prilaku hidup bersih sehingga target sasaran pada program pengabdian ini adalah anak-anak usia 5 tahun dan sekolah dasar dimana usia tersebut adalah usia rentan lalai akan kebersihan diri. Metode penyampaian yang diberikan berupa dongeng PHBS dengan cara bercerita tentang perilaku hidup sehat yang diadaptasi dari beberapa referensi buku cerita. Tingkat keberhasilah dari kegitian ini adalah anak-anak dapat menerapkan perilaku hidup bersih dengan menerapkan cuci tangan menggunakan sabun sebelum dan sesudah berkegitan atau makan, anak-anak juga mampu untuk diajak bekerjasama dalam kegiatan gotong royong yang melibatkan para remaja masjid didaerah bintaro. Waktu yang dihabiskan selama kegiatan ini berlangsung adalah tiga bulan dari persiapan dan termasuk dengan monitring evaluasi kegiatan selama kurang lebih sebulan untuk memastikan kegiatan ini tetap terlaksana. Kata kunci: PHBS; literasi. AbstractThis community service activity takes place in the Bintaro Ampenan area, the aim of this activity is to introduce clean living behavior so that the targets for this service program are children aged 5 years and elementary school where this age is the age that is vulnerable to neglecting personal hygiene. The delivery method given is in the form of PHBS fairy tales by telling stories about healthy living behavior adapted from several story book references. The level of success of this activity is that children are able to adopt clean living behavior by washing their hands with soap before and after doing activities or eating, children are also able to be invited to collaborate in mutual cooperation activities involving mosque teenagers in the Bintaro area. The time spent during this activity was three months of preparation and included monitoring and evaluation of the activity for approximately a month to ensure this activity was still carried out. Keywords: PHBS; literation.

Abstract

ABSTRAK                                                                            Tanaman herbal memiliki potensi besar sebagai alternatif pengobatan alami yang aman dan ekonomis. Namun, pemahaman masyarakat tentang jenis dan manfaat tanaman herbal masih tergolong rendah. Oleh karena itu, kegiatan edukasi pengenalan jenis tanaman herbal kepada masyarakat di Desa Kekeri, Lombok Barat, dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan pemahaman masyarakat mengenai manfaat, identifikasi, dan pengolahan tanaman herbal. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini meliputi penyuluhan, demonstrasi praktik, dan diskusi interaktif. Evaluasi efektivitas kegiatan dilakukan melalui kuesioner yang diberikan kepada 20 peserta, dengan aspek yang dinilai meliputi pemahaman materi, keterampilan membedakan jenis tanaman herbal, kesiapan dalam mengolah tanaman herbal, relevansi materi, metode penyampaian, ketersediaan fasilitas, dan tingkat kepuasan peserta. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan ini sangat efektif, dengan rata-rata persentase skor sebesar 88,57%. Rincian hasil evaluasi meliputi pemahaman manfaat tanaman herbal (88%), kemampuan membedakan jenis tanaman herbal (84%), kesiapan dalam mengolah tanaman herbal (80%), relevansi materi (94%), metode penyampaian (90%), ketersediaan fasilitas (86%), dan tingkat kepuasan peserta (92%). Berdasarkan hasil ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa edukasi ini berhasil meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan masyarakat terkait tanaman herbal. Rekomendasi untuk kegiatan selanjutnya adalah menambah sesi praktik dan penyediaan bibit tanaman herbal agar masyarakat dapat langsung menerapkan ilmu yang diperoleh. Kata kunci: Edukasi, Tanaman Herbal, Pengenalan, Masyarakat, Evaluasi. ABSTRACTHerbal plants hold great potential as a safe and economical alternative for natural medicine. However, public understanding of the types and benefits of herbal plants remains relatively low. Therefore, an educational program on the identification and recognition of herbal plants was conducted in Kekeri Village, West Lombok, to enhance community awareness and knowledge regarding the benefits, identification, and processing of herbal plants. The methods employed in this program included lectures, practical demonstrations, and interactive discussions. The effectiveness of the program was evaluated using questionnaires distributed to 20 participants, assessing aspects such as comprehension of the material, ability to differentiate types of herbal plants, readiness to process herbal plants, relevance of the material, delivery methods, availability of facilities, and participant satisfaction. The evaluation results indicate that the program was highly effective, with an average score percentage of 88.57%. Specifically, the evaluation scores were as follows: understanding the benefits of herbal plants (88%), ability to differentiate types of herbal plants (84%), readiness to process herbal plants (80%), relevance of the material (94%), delivery methods (90%), availability of facilities (86%), and participant satisfaction (92%). Based on these findings, it can be concluded that this educational program successfully improved community understanding and skills related to herbal plants. Future recommendations include adding more practical sessions and providing herbal plant seedlings to enable participants to apply the knowledge gained directly. Keywords: Education, Herbal Plants, Recognition, Community, Evaluation.
