Abstract

Electrospinning is the most popular method that uses in nanofiber production. However, the budget to purchase this tool in the market is expensive. This article aims to report on how to build electrospinning on a lesser budget. There are three main components in electrospinning that will be broken down regarding how to build it. First, the syringe pump creates machinery to push the liquid in the syringe creating a Taylor cone affected by high voltage. Second, a high voltage power supply occurs electrostatic force. Third, the collector gathers nanofiber products. This machine has cost Rp 3.168.822 or $220,26. This number is less than the shop production or the previous report to create low-cost electrospinning. To make sure that this method successfully creates nanofiber. Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) is conducted and the result shows that the fiber size is 719±0,06 nanometers. Moreover, the flow rate and the voltage also have been assessed resulting that they are in a controllable manner by showing a linear profile. In this article, the budget is shared to declare that this electrospinning is more affordable. Hopefully, this report could help researchers who intend to build electrospinning at the lab scale to develop their research in nanofiber products with less cost.

Abstract

Elderly is a period characterized by limited movement functions in the body. Elderly with multiple comorbidities have a higher risk of non-adherence because receiving more than one type of drug is more susceptible to skipping medication hours so that the elderly need reminders and drug storage areas to maintain drug quality. The main objective of this research is to emerge the robust medical box which gives notification and could be monitored suited to elderly purposes. This research was carried out with Arduino Uno as the control center of the system and using the ESP8266 Wi-Fi module for internet connection. This system uses a DHT-22 sensor, an HW-201 IR sensor and a servo motor. Tool standardization is also carried out through method validation adapting ISO 17025 and network-related Quality of Service (QoS). The results show that the system can work according to the command with an alarm notification on the android application when the clock shows the time to take medicine. Based on the DHT 22 sensor test, by measuring the temperature and humidity, the bias value is 0.318% and the trueness value is 99.7%. This Medical Box tool also has an acceptance limit precision of 83%. Based on the QoS network testing according to THIPON, the network quality is categorized as very good for throughput of 5241 Kbps, packet loss of 0%, delay of 136.5 msec, and jitter of 21.28 which are categorized as very good. This study designed a system to make it easier for the elderly as a reminder of the schedule for taking medication as well as a place to store drugs that can maintain the quality of drugs.

Abstract

Coronary heart disease is a public health problem because of its very high morbidity and mortality, the death rate caused by coronary heart disease is quite high in the world, including in Indonesia. This study aims to analyze and develop and realize the application of non-invasive blood cholesterol measurement based on ICT. Contribution of this research is that it can be used as a reference or recommendation for developing a non-invasive ICT-based blood cholesterol measurement system. The research method used in this study is the library study method and the experimental method. The results of this study are: (1) The monitoring system for measuring blood cholesterol levels Non-invasive methods using near infrared technology can be implemented properly and can be monitored based on ICT using webBase; (2) Tests were carried out on 25 random samples with two conditions, conditions before eating and conditions after eating and compared with the invasive method (auto check), found an accuracy value in conditions before eating of 98.47% with an error value of 1.53%, while in the condition after eating found an accuracy of 98.55% with an error value of 1.45%; (3) Testing the blood cholesterol level detection tool with Non-invasive shows a more real time with a duration of 10 seconds until the results are displayed on the LCD screen, while with an invasive method it shows a measurement duration of 26 seconds until the results are displayed on the screen. (4) Based on this test, a non-invasive cholesterol level measuring device can be used as a reference in the development of a blood cholesterol measurement tool so that it can be an option for routine measurements.

Abstract

Establishing visitor management system is necessary to manage the total number of visitors especially in pandemic when the protocol of social distancing is applied. The purpose of this research is to design a visitor management system integrated with an automatic Internet of Things (IoT)-based hand sanitizer using Arduino. This research contributes to answering the two challenges which are managing the total number of visitors and providing protection against bacteria or viruses. The improvement of this system compared to the existing similar approach is the automatic hand sanitizers could be installed at two entrances and exits which can simultaneously limit the number of visitors who will be monitored through the IoT platform. This system is designed with Arduino Uno R3 components as a microcontroller, ultrasonic sensors which will be installed at two entrances and exits, and automatic hand sanitizer using a water pump. For remote monitoring use the IoT platform with the ESP8266 ESP-01 Wi-Fi module as a link. From the results of testing this system, the results of testing the correct hand distance when using a hand sanitizer are from 3 cm to 9 cm and the right amount of hand sanitizer liquid volume is approximately 1 ml for a duration of 250 milliseconds. The system design has been successful for visitor management and the hand sanitizer works well. The Thingspeak webserver can receive visitor data and send it to the MIT app as a display for remote monitoring. Hopefully, this system could support the situation which needs to manage the restriction of total number visitors and hygiene practice in a more efficient way.

Abstract

Implementing remedial and enrichment strategies followed by modeling the weight of the appraisal is the goal to be achieved in this study. The ASSURE model in this study has been used to develop an appraisal model for remedial and enrichment activities integrated with the independent curriculum in the vocational field. The results showed that the peer tutoring strategy among students could optimize remedial and enrichment outcomes. The students have shown their ability in independent and collaborative learning. In remedial and enrichment activities, groups of enrichment students have been directed to help their friends to be successful in remedial. Students' success in the remedial process is the success of enriching other students and vice versa. Each student has received an appreciation of the value according to his effort. The progress of remedial students is 8% to 82%, with an average of 10%. This progress forms the basis for determining the final score for the remedial, intermediate, and enrichment groups as tutors. The difference between the remedial and enrichment appraisal weights was determined using mathematical model 1. The final score of students who become tutors is determined using the mathematical model 3. The three mathematical models above can calculate remedial, enrichment, and tutor results. The use of this model helps teachers or lecturers to be more objective in giving grades. Lecturers' appraisal of student learning outcomes has been carried out in a transparent, fair, and accountable following the differences in the potential competencies of each student. Students have followed the learning process, the assessment process has been carried out properly, the teacher's documentation is complete, and the teacher is more confident.

It systematically searches Scopus, ERIC, and related databases for publications from 2015 to 2025, yielding 76 peer-reviewed articles. The study employs thematic coding to analyze conceptual foundations, pedagogical approaches, and institutional frameworks. Findings reveal three primary perspectives on AI's role: pedagogical, technological, and organizational. Documented practices such as AI-powered simulators, adaptive learning platforms, and predictive assessment tools. Results demonstrate that AI integration enhances skill acquisition, learner engagement, and personalized instruction while necessitating robust infrastructure and faculty development. The article contributes to vocational education scholarship by mapping current research trends, identifying gaps, and offering actionable recommendations for educators, curriculum designers, and policymakers
