Abstract

This research discusses the Indonesian government's policy of strengthening character and anti-corruption education at all levels of education. The aim is to form a generation with strong morality and a deep understanding of integrity. This research uses a systematic literature review method to analyse various literature sources related to the policy and its implementation. The approaches found include the development of formal and non-formal education programmes, as well as public campaigns. The results show an increasing attention to this issue in the national curriculum. However, challenges such as limited resources, stakeholder resistance, and lack of standardised teaching methodologies still exist. The role of teachers and educational institutions also needs to be improved through continuous coaching and training. Government policy support appears to be increasing, but implementation in schools requires a comprehensive and collaborative approach. It is recommended to develop a more contextualised curriculum and strengthen cooperation between the government, schools and communities to create an educational environment that strengthens character and anti-corruption values in a sustainable manner.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of collaborative learning design in improving students' critical thinking skills in universities in West Sulawesi. This investigation implements a mixed-methods approach, which entails the acquisition of quantitative data via pre-and post-tests and qualitative data via interviews and observations. This study was conducted for two months, namely August to September 2024, involving 60 students as samples. The results showed a significant increase in students' critical thinking skills, with a higher average post-test score compared to the pre-test. Qualitative data indicated that students engaged in collaborative learning exhibited more significant activity in discussing and enhancing their critical thinking skills. However, some students still faced challenges in applying critical thinking to more complex contexts. Based on these findings, collaborative learning is efficacious in improving students' critical thinking skills, but more attention is needed on classroom management and lecturer facilitation.

Abstract

Instrumen Akreditasi Satuan Pendidikan 2020 merupakan perangkat akreditasi baru yang disusun pemerintah melalui Badan Akreditasi Nasional Sekolah/ Madrasah. Penyusunan Instrumen akreditasi baru ini menjadi kebutuhan yang mendesak karena banyaknya perubahan yang terjadi dalam dinamika pendidikan. Perubahan instrumen ini diarahkan pada pemenuhan mutu pendidikan yang lebih substantif yang harus dipenuhi oleh sekolah dan madrasah pada setiap jenjangnya. Dalam hal ini, Program Studi Pendidikan Agama Islam STAIN Majene sebagai tim pengabdi melakukan pelatihan Instrumen Akreditasi Satuan Pendidikan 2020 sebagai salah satu upaya dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan. Dalam pelatihan ini, tim pengabdi menyajikan materi secara rinci tentang Instrumen Akreditasi Satuan Pendidikan 2020 terutama pada 4 komponen utama yaitu mutu lulusan, proses pembelajaran, mutu guru, dan manajemen sekolah. Tujuan pelatihan ini adalah agar pihak sekolah memiliki persiapan lebih maksimal saat mengajukan penilaian akreditasi sekolah sebagai upaya meningkatkan mutu pendidikan. Pelatihan ini dilaksanakan dalam 4 tahap yaitu observasi, persiapan, pelaksanaan dan pendampingan. Hasil yang diperoleh dari kegiatan ini adalah seluruh peserta yang terdiri dari kepala sekolah, para wakil kepala sekolah, dan guru dapat memahami secara rinci setiap komponen yang ada pada instrumen akreditasi yang baru.

Abstract

Komunikasi yang baik dapat memberikan dampak positif terhadap peningkatan bersosialisasi, berinteraksi baik sesama siswa, dengan guru di kelas dan juga berinteraksi dalam organisasi untuk peningkatkan proses belajar dan hasil belajar siswa. Adapun beberapa tahap yang dilakukan yaitu: 1) Pelaksanaan Capacity Building Komunikasi dalam Organisasi pada tanggal 1 Oktober 2022; 2) Sharing tata bahasa dan kemampuan berbahasapada tanggal 7 November 2022; 3) Praktik teknik berbicara di depan publikpada tanggal 15 Desember 2022. Pelaksanaan kegiatan dilaksanakan dengan metode luring dengan tetap memperhatikan protokol kesehatan. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan untuk melakukan Komunikasi dalam Organisasi pada Siswa SMAN 1 Wonomulyo. Hasil dari pengabdian masyarakat yang dilakukan dalam bentuk kemampuan berbicara di depan publik, sharing terkait tata bahasa dan kemampuan berbahasa, dan Teknik berbicara di depan publik, kegiatan ini dapat memberikan peningkatan berkomunikasi dalam organisasi untuk meningkatkat proses dan hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

Microteaching has an important role in shaping prospective educators, so its implementation is recommended to take place thoroughly. The purpose of this study was to describe the implementation of microteaching courses in the formation of teaching skills of 2021 batch students of Tarbiyah and Keguruan PAI Study Program at STAIN Majene. This type of research uses qualitative research with a phenomenological approach method, researchers obtain data from observation, interviews and documentation. The results showed that, there are six steps in the implementation of microteaching courses consisting of: (1) introduction to the concept of microteaching which is carried out at the beginning of the lecture by providing structured material, so that students can form teaching skills ranging from opening to closing skills. (2) presentation of models and discussions, where the supervisor uses various methods such as lectures, discussions, questions and answers, hands-on practice, and preparation of papers Through this process, students can form skills ranging from choosing a model or learning method, explaining material, asking questions to managing the class. (3) planning or preparation for teaching by preparing lesson plans or modules in this case, students can form skills ranging from opening to closing lessons, 4) the implementation of teaching practice which has four groups with observers and five groups without observers, this aims to shape students' skills from opening to closing lessons, (5) feedback discussions are carried out through oral and written observations by students as well as supervisors' assessments of lesson plans and teaching practices through this process, students can form motivational skills. However, there are important steps that cannot be implemented due to time constraints, namely the practice of relearning. In addition, some shortcomings were also found in certain classes such as the feedback given was less specific, the absence of an assessment sheet and the unavailability of a semester implementation plan (RPS).

Abstract

Pendidikan Politik kepada Pemilih Pemula berguna untuk memberikan informasi, nilai, pemahaman dan pengetahuan tentang Pendidikan politik pemilih pemula dalam menggunakan hak suaranya dalam pemilihan umum khususnya pada tahun 2024 mendatang. Pemilih pemula sebagai target untuk dipengaruhi karena dianggap belum memiliki pengalaman voting pada pemilu sebelumnya, jadi masih berada pada sikap dan pilhan politik yang belum jelas. Pemilih pemula yang baru mamasuki usia hak pilih juga belum memiliki jangkauan politik yang luas untuk menentukan kemana mereka harus memilih. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan secara langsung (tatap muka) pada hari Jum’at tanggal 24 November 2023 di MAN 1 Polewali Mandar, Kabupaten Polewali Mandar, Provinsi Sulawesi Barat. Adapun kegiatan yang dilakukan yaitu: 1) Materi tentang Deskripsi Pendidikan Politik Pemilih Pemula; 2) Materi tentang Perilaku Pemilih Pemula Menjelang Pemilu 2024; 3) Materi tentang Peran Perguruan Tinggi terhadap Pendidikan Politik Pemilih Pemula; 4) Materi tentang Peran Media terhadap Pendidikan Politik Pemilih Pemula. Pengabdian Masyarakat ini dilakukan untuk memberikan pemahaman tentang deskripsi Pendidikan politik pemilih pemula, Perilaku Pemilih Pemula. Hasil dari pengabdian masayarakat ini bahwa siswa sebagai pemilih pemula menjadi memahami, dan mengerti, akan aktif berpartisipasi serta tidak apatis terhadap kegiatan pemilihan umum yang akan datang.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas Pemerintah Desa Makuang, Kabupaten Mamasa, dalam upaya meminimalisir terjadinya kekerasan seksual melalui metode ceramah dan tanya jawab. Kekerasan seksual masih menjadi persoalan serius di berbagai daerah, termasuk di wilayah pedesaan, di mana pemahaman tentang pencegahan dan penanganannya sering kali terbatas. Melalui kegiatan ini, diharapkan aparat desa dan masyarakat dapat memperoleh pengetahuan yang komprehensif mengenai bentuk-bentuk kekerasan seksual, faktor penyebab, dampak, serta langkah-langkah pencegahan dan penanganan yang efektif. Kegiatan dilaksanakan dalam bentuk sosialisasi interaktif dengan melibatkan perangkat desa, tokoh masyarakat, serta perwakilan warga untuk memastikan penyebaran informasi yang merata. Metode ceramah digunakan untuk memberikan pemahaman mendasar, sedangkan sesi tanya jawab memungkinkan peserta untuk mengklarifikasi hal-hal yang belum dipahami serta berbagi pengalaman terkait isu kekerasan seksual di lingkungan tersebut. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan kesadaran peserta mengenai pentingnya peran aktif pemerintah desa dalam menangani kasus kekerasan seksual, mulai dari aspek preventif hingga responsif. Selain itu, peserta juga memahami prosedur pelaporan dan pendampingan korban yang sesuai dengan mekanisme hukum yang berlaku. Kegiatan ini turut menghasilkan rekomendasi bagi pemerintah desa untuk membuat regulasi atau program khusus yang mendukung upaya pencegahan kekerasan seksual, seperti sosialisasi berkala, pembentukan tim respons cepat, dan kerja sama dengan lembaga terkait. Dengan demikian, kegiatan pengabdian ini tidak hanya memberikan dampak langsung berupa peningkatan pengetahuan tetapi juga mendorong tindakan nyata dari pemerintah desa dalam menciptakan lingkungan yang lebih aman dan responsif terhadap isu kekerasan seksual.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the form of implementation of melipo in the Mandar community and the perspective of Islamic education regarding the implementation of melipo in the Mandar community. This type of research is qualitative, with surveys, in-depth interviews, and documentation as data collection methods. The results of this study show that the implementation of melipo in the Mandar community is carried out at certain times, starting from the second day after the burial of the body until three or seven days later. Apart from that, melipo is carried out by several people, such as the priest (who will pray), family, and neighbors or friends, while carrying certain objects required for the melipo activity. The perspective of Islamic education regarding the implementation of melipo in Mandar society is in line with the Al-Qur'an, hadith, and the views of Muslim scholars or scholars. It can be seen from the educational values contained in the melipo tradition, such as that the world is not an eternal place; no one can escape death; graves are humans’ last place; Zuhud is the authenticity of life in the world; bringing up feelings of humanity, creating a sense of empathy, eroding arrogance, avoiding greed or covetousness; unity is very important; helping is urgently needed; brotherhood between people needs to be maintained; praying for those who preceded you; and reflection on attitudes and behavior.

Abstract

A research about developing e-learning tools was considered necessary to do towards the new normal era because the fact on the ground indicated that there were many teaching sources lacked of preparation when doing online learning. The kind of research that was implied was development research with ADDIE model which is Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The subject was students of Tadris Bahasa Inggris major in Sekolah Tinggi Agama Islam Negeri Majene. The research development phases were firstly, analysis phase where it was found that the media used in online lecture were restrictedly Zoom application and Google Classroom with all their deficiency; Secondly, design phase done to follow up the issues found in the previous phase, that is by designing Learning Management System (LMS); Thirdly, development phase where the researcher made LMS based blog that completed with menus: RPS, RTM, Teaching Material, Discussion Forum, Quiz and Learning Program Evaluation; Fourthly, implementation phase done through trials of LMS four times of meeting; Lastly, evaluation phase where the evaluation results of the developed e-learning tools were considered already valid, very practical and effective

Abstract

This study evaluates the effectiveness of the learning process from the perspective of students in the Islamic Religious Education (PAI) Study Program at STAIN Majene, addressing gaps between expectations and actual educational outcomes. A mixed-methods design was used, integrating quantitative data from structured questionnaires and qualitative insights from in-depth interviews. The Discrepancy Evaluation Model guided the analysis to identify inconsistencies between intended and experienced learning processes. Findings reveal significant disparities in four key areas: the relevance of course material, availability of learning resources, instructional methods, and quality of feedback. Students reported that course content often lacks practical application, resources are insufficient or outdated, teaching methods are predominantly traditional, and feedback lacks personalization. To bridge these gaps, the study recommends aligning the curriculum with industry and societal needs, enhancing digital learning resources, training lecturers in interactive and student-centered pedagogies, and providing more individualized feedback. Importantly, involving students in ongoing program evaluations is emphasized as a critical step toward responsive and effective educational reform. Continuous, collaborative improvements are essential to strengthen learning outcomes and graduate competencies. These findings not only inform internal program development at STAIN Majene but also offer valuable insights for similar Islamic education programs seeking to enhance their effectiveness.
