Abstract

 Queenera Dessert merupakan salah satu home industry (usaha rumahan) di kota Batam yang memproduksi aneka dessert (makanan penutup). Selama ini foto Instagram produk makanan Queenera Dessert dipotret menggunakan kamera professional, oleh karena itu penulis ingin melakukan perbandingan hasil foto produk menggunakan kamera smartphone. Metode pada penelitian ini mencakup 3 tahapan, yaitu: 1) Metode penciptaan sebagai landasan proses pengambilan gambar. 2) Teknik pengumpulan dataset statistik untuk mengetahui hasil insight pengguna Instagram terhadap foto produk makanan yang dipotret menggunakan kamera smartphone dan kamera profesional. 3) Metode statistik deskriptif agar didapatkan perbandingan ketertarikan pengguna Instagram terhadap hasil foto produk makanan menggunakan kamera smartphone dan kamera profesional. Secara keseluruhan insight dari penelitian ini adalah: (1) Rata-rata reach dari foto menggunakan kamera smartphone memperoleh hasil sebesar 490,6 mengungguli hasil foto menggunakan kamera profesional yang memperoleh rata-rata reach sebesar 457,8; (2) Rata-rata impression dari foto menggunakan kamera smartphone sebesar 603,2 mengungguli hasil foto menggunakan kamera profesional yang memperoleh rata-rata impression sebesar 559,2. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kamera smartphone mampu menghasilkan foto produk kuliner yang menarik dan dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai alternatif untuk memotret produk makanan sehingga dapat membantu pelaku usaha home industry (usaha rumahan) di bidang kuliner dalam mengenalkan produk usahanya di media sosial.

Abstract

The Kelurahan of Setokok Island offers various tourist attractions with plenty of supporting facilities. In addition, Setokok Island, which is part of Batam City, has a very strategic position in the Sijori route, which contributes to the many visits by tourists, both local and international. However, all tourist objects on Setokok Island had not been managed properly. In addition, there is no complete information regarding the distribution of these attractions and the facilities they provide that can be accessed directly online. To address the potential and solve the problems, one of the actions that can be implemented to develop the tourism sector is a participatory mapping of tourist attractions and the facilities they provide in a complete, actual, and valid way in the kelurahan of Setokok Island. The results are then published in the form of WebGIS that can be accessed directly online so that more people will know all the tourism potential there. Hopefully, the local tourism sector in Setokok Island will develop and will directly improve the micro economy of the people of Setokok Island.

Abstract

Sembulang Village has high potential from marine resources, tourism, to the potential geographical position that supports inter-island shipping lanes. This presents sourced its challenges to make the most of the existing economic potential while maintaining the ecological potential to achieve sustainable coastal development. Practical skills possessed by fishermen in K Sembulang Village become important provisions in the realization of sustainable development, but this needs to be harmonized with the support of various scientific backgrounds. Terrain complex analysis is able to accommodate various considerations in identifying the best sea transportation routes while minimizing negative effects on the environment. Based on these advantages carried out socialization to fishermen who are in Kelurahan Sembulang. From the activities that were successfully held, feedback obtained from participants' satisfaction with the provision of material reached 89.67%, scientific benefit aspects for the residents amounted to 87.29%, facilities supporting activities valued at 84.28%, while as much as 96.77% residents wanted similar activities to be held again in Kelurahan Sembulang.

Abstract

fitness supplements that require promotional media because many people do not know about Starsfits. So that motion graphics are made as promotional media which is one form of information media on technological developments. The design of this motion graphic video aims to introduce supplement products at Starsfits which are expected to be able to attract consumer interest as an effort to increase sales of supplement products at Starsfits. Motion graphics in promotional videos for supplement products at Starsfits were created using the Villamil-Molina version of the multimedia design method which consists of stages of development, preproduction, production, postproduction, and delivery. Based on the analysis of the motion graphic video, it has met the feasibility indicators for the application of motion graphic aspects, namely Spatial, Temporal, Live Action and Typography which got 4.36 results which are included in the very feasible (SL) category. Then an EPIC model analysis was conducted to determine the effect and effectiveness of the promotional video for supplement products at Starsfits. The conclusions from the analysis of the EPIC model are: (1) Empathy dimension 4.88, (2) Persuation 4.76, (3) Impact 4.85, (4) Communication 4.87, so that motion graphics in promotional videos for supplement products at Starsfits is stated to be very effective as a promotional medium.

Abstract

Indonesia adalah negara yang kaya akan budaya, seni, dan tradisi warisan leluhur; setiap daerah memiliki budaya, kerajinan, dan adat istiadatnya sendiri yang merupakan warisan penting dan mapan; alat musik tradisional adalah salah satu contohnya. Sape' adalah alat musik asli Dayak yang paling langsung dikenali dari kemiripannya dengan gitar. Penulis melakukan penelitian ini dengan tujuan untuk mengembangkan aplikasi Augmented Reality berbasis Android yang dapat memperkenalkan alat musik tradisional Sape. Itu dibuat menggunakan model proses pengembangan perangkat lunak Siklus Hidup Pengembangan Multimedia dan berjalan dengan lancar di Android versi 6.0 (Marshmallow) minimum dan semua lapisan rasio aspek. Sementara itu, terlepas dari rasio aspek perangkat, kualitas model 3D akan tetap konstan.

Abstract

Simulasi Visual merupakan duplikat dari kehidupan nyata tanpa harus berada pada kondisi sesungguhnya dan dibuat dengan bantuan alat teknologi serta sofware pendukung lainnya yang dapat ditemukan didalam komputer. Simulasi visual ini dibuat dengan bantuan sofware yaitu Blender dan Unity 3D. Untuk mengetahui layak serta berguna nya simulasi visual tersebut, maka diteliti dengan menggunakan metode dari System Usability Scale (SUS) dengan membuat 10 pernyataan yang berupa kuesioner kepada karyawan serta karyawati pada Department Logistic. Abstract

This study discusses making video motion graphics for HSE induction at PT Wasco Engineering Indonesia. Usually, HSE induction delivery is carried out through presentation of material by trainers through presentation slides. However, an idea arose to create a new media that is more effective and keeps up with technological developments in the multimedia field, namely video motion graphics. This research is in the manufacturing process using the Villamil-Molina development method which has several stages including development, preproduction, production, post production and delivery. To analyze the effectiveness of video motion graphics, the EPIC model is used with four dimensions, namely empathy, persuasion, impact, and communication. The results of the analysis using the EPIC model show a value of 4.03, which indicates that video motion graphics are considered effective for HSE induction activities at PT Wasco Engineering Indonesia.

Abstract

Teknik Projection mapping sebagai media baru menjadi peluang pemanfaatan teknologi multimedia yang mulai ramai diaplikasikan. Penelitian ini memanfaatkan teknologi yang biasa disebut dengan Augmented Reality Spatial sebagai pengembangan dan penyampaian informasi dengan mengangkat konten video motion graphic yang bertema motif melayu ditampilkan melalui proyektor dan ditembakkan pada gedung di Politeknik Negeri Batam. Metode penelitian dibagi pada beberapa tahapan dimulai dari observasi objek dan bidang, menentukan jumlah dan mempersiapkan proyektor, membuat replika virtual bidang projection, perancangan konten multimedia, mapping test, hingga pertunjukan projection mapping. Dari pengumpulan data responden yang melihat pertunjukan projection mapping didapatkan penilaian pada beberapa aspek kelayakan yaitu, kelayakan teknik projection mapping, kelayakan teknik audio dan kelayakan tema didominasi dengan hasil penilaian layak dan sangat layak. Pada aspek kelayakan visual dan kelayakan durasi harus dievaluasi kembali karena mendapatkan beberapa penilaian kurang layak.

Abstract

Mubut Island, which is located on Galang Island, Riau Archipelago, is one of the beauties of tourism in Indonesia. Information about the Mubut Island Tourism Object is not widely available in digital media, so that the delivery of information about Mubut Island is not optimal. Therefore, the purpose of this service is to provide information on Mubut Beach attractions using Virtual Reality (VR) technology. In addition to presenting the natural beauty of Mubut Island as a whole with 360 videos, this VR application also provides tourist education on visiting Mubut Island. This VR application was socialized at an exhibition in a mall in Batam to get VR user feedback. From the results of the socialization, it was found that 120 respondents assessed the benefits of this application and got a Likert index of 83.75% included in the useful category for potential tourists.
