Abstract

In an effort to overcome the weak tourism reputation management in Bengkulu Province, the Bengkulu Provincial Tourism Office has taken a bold step by launching a new tourism brand, namely the Natural Bengkulu logo. Although this effort is expected to provide a strong visual identity, new challenges arise when people only see the logo as an attractive visual element without understanding the deep philosophy that should be the foundation of a tourism brand. A tourism brand is not just a visual representation or logo, but includes values, stories, and experiences that can shape positive perceptions of a destination. This study aims to analyze brand reputation management strategies through a qualitative descriptive approach with a case study method. The focus of this study is the brand reputation management of the Natural Bengkulu logo as a visual identity that reflects the richness of local nature and culture. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with related parties, observations, and document reviews. The results of the study indicate that the Natural Bengkulu logo brand reputation management strategy implemented by the Bengkulu Provincial Tourism Office has succeeded in significantly increasing the visibility and attractiveness of regional tourism. By implementing seven components of reputation management including reputation template adjustment, reputation audit from internal and external perspectives, reputation capital goal setting, accountability formula, reputation management plan, annual audit and assessment, and stakeholder mapping, this strategy has created a positive and consistent image in the eyes of the public.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan promosi dan pencitraan merek (branding) pariwisata Desa Panca Mukti melalui pemanfaatan aplikasi desain grafis Canva. Desa yang terletak di Kecamatan Pondok Kelapa, Kabupaten Bengkulu Tengah ini memiliki potensi unggulan di bidang pertanian, perikanan, peternakan, agrowisata, dan khususnya batik tenun khas daerah yang belum banyak dikenal publik. Sayangnya keterbatasan anggaran, minimnya dukungan pemerintah daerah, dan kurangnya sumber daya manusia yang memiliki kemampuan desain menjadi kendala utama dalam pengembangan branding destinasi. Melalui kegiatan ini, masyarakat diberikan pelatihan dan pendampingan dalam pembuatan materi promosi digital yang menarik, seperti poster, katalog produk, dan konten media sosial dengan menggunakan Canva secara praktis dan kreatif. Kegiatan ini melibatkan remaja desa Panca Mukti yang berjumlah 30 orang. Pendekatan partisipatif yang digunakan tidak hanya bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan, tetapi juga untuk memastikan keberlanjutan praktik branding yang telah diperkenalkan. Diharapkan hasil kegiatan ini dapat meningkatkan interaksi digital, memperluas jangkauan promosi, dan memperkuat posisi Desa Panca Mukti sebagai destinasi wisata unggulan yang menampilkan perpaduan antara kekayaan alam, budaya lokal, dan produk kreatif khas desa.

Abstract

The Family Hope Program (PKH) is one of the conditional social assistance programs aimed at improving the living standards of poor families. In its implementation, there are a number of beneficiaries who have graduated independently, meaning they have stopped receiving assistance on their own initiative and ability. This study aims to analyse the social functioning of PKH beneficiaries who have graduated independently. The study focuses on economic, social, and psychological aspects of their lives post-graduation. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with a case study approach. The results of the study indicate that the majority of individuals who have graduated independently demonstrate positive social functioning, including increased economic independence, involvement in social activities, as well as increased self-confidence and motivation for self-reliance.

Abstract

Indonesia is a disaster-prone country. The high frequency of natural disasters occurring in Indonesia makes the mainstream media in this country, especially television, always flooded with coverage of these events. However, it is not uncommon for the news content to violate Article 25 of the Indonesian Broadcasting Commission's (IBC) 2012 Broadcasting Behavior Guidelines And Broadcast Program Standards (B2GBPS). This research aims to find out how Kompas TV implements Article 25 of the Broadcasting Behavior Guidelines And Broadcast Program Standards (B2GBPS) on the Cold Lava Flood Disaster in West Sumatra in the May 2024 edition. The researcher used qualitative research model and content analysis approach. As a result, Kompas TV has not fully implemented Article 25 of the Broadcasting Behavior Guidelines And Broadcast Program Standards (B2GBPS) with 13 news samples taken during the cold lava flood disaster in West Sumatra, May 2024 edition.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis Modal Sosial Sebagai Pendukung Proses Integrasi Sosial Masyarakat Multikultural di Desa Suro Bali Kecamatan Ujan Mas Kabupaten Kepahiang. Kuatnya peran modal sosial melalui kepercayaan, nilai dan norma sosial serta jaringan ini tentu sangat penting dalam berkembangnya hubungan sosial untuk proses penyesuaian dan penyatuan unsur kebudayaan berbeda masyarakat multikultural, sehingga terciptanya kehidupan masyarakat harmonis. Metode penelitian dilakukan menggunakan metode kualitatif, informan pada penelitian terdiri dari perangkat desa, masyarakat desa, sesepuh/tokoh masyarakat dan tokoh agama. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini yaitu observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa social bounding (perekat sosial), social bridging (jembatan sosial), dan social linking (hubungan/jaringan sosial) merupakan aspek modal sosial untuk mendukung proses integrasi sosial di Desa Suro Bali agar terjalannya nilai dan norma sosial secara konsisten, membangun kekuatan atas kelemahan dengan memperkaya kepercayaan serta terjalinnya jaringan dan relasi sehingga terciptanya kesepakatan disetiap masyarakatnya. Adanya proses integrasi sosial atau penyatuan dan penyesuaian unsur berbeda diantara masyarakat multikultural dan didukung oleh modal sosial membuat desa ini memiliki masyarakat yang saling menjaga, melindungi, menghargai dan menghormati serta memiliki rasa toleransi tinggi antara satu dengan lainnya, membuat proses penyatuan dan penyesuaian unsur ini berjalan dengan baik tanpa adanya paksaan dari pihak manapun

Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to find out the practice of health journalism on stunting news run by online media bengkuluekspress.com. This type of research uses qualitative research methods qualitative research. The type of approach chosen in this study uses a case study approach. The research informants that the researchers took in this study were divided into three of them as key information, main and supporting informants. The object of this research is the journalists of bengkuluekspress.com, and the subject of this research is news related to stunting in the media bengkuluepress.com. This research was conducted at the Bengkuluekpress office, Bengkulu City. Data was collected using interview, observation and documentation techniques. Based on the findings and data analysis, the results of this study indicate that bengkuelpress.com provides news about stunting with accurate sources, has applied the principles of social responsibility theory, and has taken part in discussing stunting. The practice of health journalism on stunting news on bengkuluekspress.com must apply the principles of social responsibility theory, namely the responsibility of the media to the public, the media must report news accurately, the media is free to regulate itself, must be guided by a code of ethics, and media intervention is necessary. Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk dapat mengetahui praktik jurnalisme kesehatan pada berita stunting yang dijalankan media online bengkuluekspress.com. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif penelitian kualitatif. Jenis pendekatan yang dipilih dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan studi kasus. Informan penelitian yang peneliti ambil dalam penelitian ini terbagi menjadi tiga diantaranya sebagai informasi kunci, informan pokok dan pendukung. Objek dalam penelitian ini adalah wartawan bengkuluekspress.com, dan yang menjadi subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah pemberitaan terkait stunting yang ada di media bengkuluepress.com penelitian ini dilakukan di kantor Bengkuluekpress Kota Bengkulu. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan teknik wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan temuan dan analisis data, hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa bengkuelpress.com memberikan berita mengenai stunting dengan sumber yang akurat, sudah menerapkan prinsip yang ada pada teori tanggung jawab sosial, dan telah turut mengambil andil membahas mengenai stunting. Praktik jurnalisme kesehatan pada berita stunting di bengkuluekspress.com harus menerapkan prinsip dalam teori tanggung jawab sosial, yaitu tanggung jawab media terhadap publik, media harus menginformasikan berita secara akurat, media bebas mengatur dirinya, harus berpedoman pada kode etik, dan perlu campur tangan media.

Abstract

Communication is a basic human activity, both as individuals and as groups. Fairy tales and factual stories are closely related to the formation of character, not only individual human character but human character in a nation, in storytelling activities it is closely related to the delivery of messages between the storyteller or communicator and his listeners or also called communicants, hence the delivery of narratives. The right way to tell a story has a big influence on the message that is created and the moral values that the storyteller wants to convey.

Abstract

This research aims to find out and understand the interpersonal communication of caregivers in forming an attitude of independence for ABK at the Bina Netra Amal Mulia Social Home in Bengkulu City, as well as to determine the motives and goals of caregivers in working. Children who live in social institutions really need a substitute role for their parents. As time goes by, the child's communication context will be determined by the caregiver. This research is qualitative research with a phenomenological approach. The data in the research were collected using interview, observation and documentation techniques. The theory used is interpersonal communication theory with a humanistic approach from Joseph A. DeVito, and social phenomenology theory from Alfred Schutz to see motives, causes and goals. The findings in this research show that interpersonal communication between caregivers in forming an attitude of independence with ABK, the aspect of openness plays a big role in interpersonal communication between caregivers and ABK in this social institution, this aspect of openness can be the first step in interpersonal communication that can run smoothly in the future . There are obstacles when caregivers carry out interpersonal communication with ABK, these obstacles are in the form of semantic barriers, physical barriers and psychological barriers. The motives for working for caregivers in social institutions have different backgrounds. Even though they have different work backgrounds have the same goal, namely, apart from earning money for family needs, caregivers also aim to worship, do charity and be useful.

Abstract

Media sosial memiliki peranan penting dalam membangun citra posotif pada Minumin Bengkulu. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif yang menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dalam menentukan informan penelitian melalui observasi langsung, wawancara mendalam dan dokumentasi. Penelitian yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui strategi media sosial Minumin Bengkulu dalam membangun citra positif masyarakat di Bengkulu ini menggunakan konsep Kevin Lane Keller dalam buku Strategic Brand Management sebagai pisau analisis. Dalam hasil penelitian, peneliti memiliki kesimpulan bahwa Minumin Bengkulu menggunakan strategi memonopoli pasar media sosial dalam mempengaruhi media sosial brand lokal yang ada di Bengkulu.

Abstract

Bengkulu City has various historical, cultural and natural tourism assets, this has allowed Bengkulu City to become a tourism city. The internet penetration rate of Indonesia's population continues to increase from year to year. However, the regional government of Bengkulu City has not read the opportunities for digital marketing platforms and made branding efforts for the Bengkulu tourism sector. This study aims to determine the digital marketing branding communication strategy for Bengkulu city tourism destinations. The research approach used is a qualitative approach based on the philosophy of postpositivism. This research is a case study research using the concept of AISAS theory which consists of Attention, Interest, Search, Action and share. The results of this study state that digital marketing communications carried out by the Bengkulu government focus on creating marketing content to create tourist attraction through social media. Image quality, content content, content duration and words in the content are important parts that must be considered. In addition, it is known that the creation of digital marketing content requires quite a lot of effort so that the content is of high quality and attractive, it is necessary to have human resources with special digital skills and a qualified team of creators.
