Abstract

This study analyzes the development strategy of the Special Job Placement Program (BKK) at SMK Negeri 3 Bengkulu Selatan using the SWOT method. The analysis shows that the program’s strengths lie in its qualified human resources, industry-based curriculum, strong business collaborations, and supporting facilities like the E-BKK Online platform. However, weaknesses remain, such as limited administrator training, a shortage of industry-certified teachers, and inadequate industrial-standard facilities. Opportunities include industrial growth, government policy support, and rising demand for skilled vocational graduates. Meanwhile, the program faces threats such as rapid technological changes, bureaucratic hurdles, limited funding, and competition from other schools. To optimize the program, it is crucial to leverage strengths and opportunities by maximizing the E-BKK platform, enhancing industry partnerships, updating curricula, upgrading facilities, and providing continuous human resource training. Regular evaluation and policy improvements are essential to maintain graduates' competitiveness. The BKK program plays a vital role in bridging graduates to the workforce, reducing unemployment, fostering entrepreneurship, and supporting economic development at both local and national levels.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to analyze the effects of ethanol extract of sambiloto (Andrographis paniculata) on fatty liver percentage, serum glutamic oxaloacetic transaminase (SGOT) level and lipid profile of wistar strain white rat exposed to high fat diet. The study used randomized post test only control group design. Total sample was 50 male wistar strain rats (Rattus norvegicus) divided randomly into 5 groups (randomization). The normality test used was Kolmogorov Smirnov test (a=0.05). The homogeneity test used was Levene test (a=0.05). The comparative test was done using Anova test (analysis of variance) (a=0.05) or Brown-Forsythe test (a=0.05). The correlation test was done using Pearson test (a=0.05). The administration of sambiloto ethanol extract with doses of 100, 200 and 400 milligrams (mg)/kilogram (kg) body weight (BW) decreased the percentage of fatty liver (r=-0.950), SGOT (r=-0.964)/SGPT (r=(R=-0.973)/LDL (low-density lipoprotein) (r=-0.960) and increased HDL (high-density lipoprotein) levels (r=-0.923)=0.956) in white rats exposed to a high-fat diet. In conclusion, increased dose of ethanol extract of sambiloto can decrease the percentage of fatty liver, SGOT/SGPT and total cholesterol/TG/LDL and increase HDL level of white rats exposed to high fat diet.

Abstract

Body height estimation is one of important parameters used for establishing the individuality in cases of mutilated bodies or found body parts. It is not rare that in the cases of mutilation the police authority would only give the body parts or remaining skeletons of the victims. The aims of the study were to find body height estimation formula based on percutaneous of foot length and foot breadth in Javanese females at Surabaya Muhammadiyah University. The type of research design was cross-sectional observational study. Samples were Javanese females student at Muhammadiyah University of Surabaya , which was selected as the sample unit . The samples are in this study was Two-hundred and twenty-two people. The variabel independent of this research are foot length and foot breath, the variabel dependent is body height. Data were analyzed using normality test with Kolmogorov Smirnoff (a>0,05), Pearson correlation test (a<0,05) and linear regression test (a <0,05) to get body height estimation formula. The results of this study is, 1) A significant correlation between foot length and body height (r = 0,731), 2) A significant correlation between foot breadth and body height (r-0,323), 3) A significant correlation between foot length, foot breadth and body height (r=0,732), 4) The body height estimation formula based on foot length is 688,435 +3,745*foot length, 5) The body height estimation formula based on foot breadth is = 1273,002 + 2,942*foot breadth, and 6) The body height estimation formula based on foot length and foot breadth is 695,227 + 3,805*foot length – 0,229*foot breadth. As a conclusion of this study is the obtained estimation formula of body height based on foot length and foot breadth of Javanese females is 695,227 + 3,805*foot length – 0,229*foot breadth.

Abstract

Tourism performance is commonly assessed using indicators such as tourist arrivals and tourist spending, which capture short-term economic effects but overlook the behavioral mechanisms that sustain local tourism economies. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of regional tourism SME development programs by positioning customer satisfaction as behavioral capital that links policy interventions with market sustainability and regional economic outcomes. A time-lagged sequential explanatory mixed-methods design is employed. Phase 1 evaluates branding-oriented interventions (digital marketing, service quality, and promotion) by examining their effects on customer satisfaction and brand image. Phase 2, conducted after temporal gap, evaluates market sustainability by assessing customer satisfaction and its effects on customer loyalty, repeat purchase behavior, and demand for local souvenir products. Quantitative data were collected longitudinally from 70 customers of Sokressh, a tourism-based SME in Malang City. The qualitative phase uses open-ended questionnaires to explain how customer satisfaction translates into word-of-mouth promotion and local economic circulation. The findings indicate that customer satisfaction significantly mediates both branding and market sustainability outcomes and functions as behavioral capital that drives repeat demand. Qualitative evidence shows that increases in customer satisfaction are associated with higher repeat purchases and stronger tourist recommendations, contributing to stable demand for local products. The study proposes Tourism-Based SME Marketing Sustainability Model and demonstrates that customer satisfaction can serve as a behavioral-based indicator of program effectiveness linking SME support policies with regional economic development. Findings show satisfaction as behavioral capital strengthens local demand, stabilizes SME income, and enhances resilience in tourism-based cities like Malang.
