Abstract

The development of the learning model aimed to create learning conditions that facilitate students to be active and enjoy every learning process so that the students can optimize their achievement. One of the support tools to create an ideal learning atmosphere was learning media. The aimed of this study were to understand the impact of audio-visual media in seizing picture subject between two groups of students. This research applied Research and Development (R&D) approach. The participants consist of 2 lecturers with media expertise, 2 teachers, and 34 students of the X grade students of Light Vehicle Engineering who were selected randomly. The finding showed that there was a significant difference in the learning result. The experiment group that used audio-visual media achieved 83,24% (very high categories), while the control group that used written material achieved 49,43% (adequate-category). Based on the result above, it can be concluded that audio-visual media can improve students' competency in seizing pictures subject.

Abstract

Radiator is one of the engine cooling system components that has leakage problems due to corrosion. The leakage in the cooling system can cause bad effects namely overheating. This study aims to find out the effect of sodium chromate inhibitors (Na2CrO4) can reduce the corrosion rate of car radiator components and find out the type of corrosion that occurs in car radiator components in aquades environment. The research method used is a real experiment. The corrosion testing was conducted by specimens immersing from aluminum radiators. The specimen was immersed in distilled water solution with variations in the addition of sodium chromate inhibitors of 0%, 0.3%, 0.5% and 0.7%. The micro photo testing used an optical microscope to determine the type of corrosion. The analysis in this study is descriptive statistical analysis. The results of this study indicated of the corrosion rate of aluminum in an aquades environment without inhibitors is 0.0084 mmpy. Meanwhile the corrosion rate of aluminum decreased with the addition of sodium chromate inhibitors (0.3% by 0.0053 mmpy, 0.5% by 0.0051 mmpy and 0.7% by 0.0043 mmpy). Thus the use of sodium chromate inhibitors can extend the life / time of using aluminum radiators. While the type of corrosion that occurs is pitting corrosion.

Abstract

There are many ways that can be done to reduce the problem of fuel scarcity due to the increasing number of motorcycle usage, one of which is to make engine performance more efficient by adding catalysts and additives to the fuel used. Broquet is a catalyst product and Eco Racing is a fuel additive product that works to improve the combustion reaction process and its quality. This study aims to determine the effect of using Broquet and Eco Racing on engine performance including torque and power on a pertalite 4-stroke engine type motor and to determine the effectiveness of the product in improving engine performance. This research is using experimental method. Torque and power at the beginning of 4500 rpm engine speed testing with Broquet and Eco Racing has increased and then at the next engine speed gradually decreases. The use of Broquet and Eco Racing in pertalite influences engine performance and the use of Broquet has more effectiveness in improving engine performance at the start of engine rotation compared to Eco Racing. Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui kelayakan alat peraga yang dirancang dan perbedaan hasil belajar setelah menggunakan alat peraga sistem starter konvensional berbasis audio. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif jenis quasi experimental design dengan model nonequivalent control group design. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI TKR 3 sebagai kelas eksperimen sejumlah 30 peserta didik dan kelas XI TKR 2 sebagai kelas kontrol sejumlah 21 peserta didik. Teknik dan instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan metode tes dan angket. Hasil uji kelayakan alat peraga oleh ahli media memperoleh persentase 90,00% sedangkan oleh ahli materi 87,49%, hasil tersebut menunjukkan kriteria media sangat layak. Peningkatan rata-rata nilai pretest dan posttest kelas kontrol sebesar 10,31% yaitu dari nilai rata-rata 68,38 menjadi 75,43, sedangkan kelas eksperimen sebesar 18,09% yaitu dari nilai rata-rata 68,53 menjadi 80,93. Hasil analisis uji-t diperoleh nilai thitung pretest sebesar 0,066 sedangkan nilai thitung posttest sebesar 2,970. Hasil perhitungan uji n-gain diperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 0,218 untuk kelas kontrol dengan kriteria peningkatan rendah sedangkan untuk kelas eksperimen sebesar 0,391 dengan kriteria peningkatan sedang.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui 1) kelayakan modul elektronik sistem injeksi bahan bakar bensin dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. 2) efektivitas penerapan modul elektronik sistem injeksi bahan bakar bensin. 3) perbandingan efektivitas modul elektronik sistem injeksi bahan bakar bensin dengan modul konvensional. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen semu (quasi experimental). Hasil uji kedua validator ahli media memberikan nilai dengan kriteria sangat layak dan layak untuk digunakan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Sedangkan kedua validator ahli materi memberikan nilai dengan kriteria sangat layak dan layak untuk digunakan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Hasil penerapan modul elektronik sistem injeksi bahan bakar bensin pada kelas eksperimen mengalami kenaikan rata-rata hasil belajar sebesar 38,29, dari yang sebelumnya 39,64 menjadi 77,93. Nilai rata-rata posttest pada kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi 6,86 dibandingkan dengan kelas kontrol yang sebesar 71,07. Berdasarkan hasil analisis uji dua rata-rata, nilai posttest pada kedua kelas diperoleh tingkat signifikansi sebesar 0,000 sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar yang signifikan antara kelas kontrol dengan kelas eksperimen. Kata Kunci: efektivitas, modul elektronik, sistem injeksi bahan bakar bensin.

Abstract

Teacher’s job description on the productive program practice consist of such activitiesas planning, implementation, evaluation of productive program practice output,giving guidance and training to students, and doing additional tasks other than theirmain task. The teachers implement their job description in teaching and learningprocess by teaching one subject in accordance with their the certified qualification.In addition, the teachers are involved in school management activities includingnew students enrolment, curirculum preparation and its supporting documents, nationalexamination, school examiantion and others. Abstract

This study aims to develop and evaluate the feasibility level of a planetary type starter motor maintenance aids at the Light Vehicle Engineering’s expertise program in the Vocational High Schools (VHS). The research was conducted in Semarang Vocational High Schools. The study uses of development models consist of 4 stage (Four D) namely: Define, Design, Develop and Disseminate. This feasibility of props development results tested on media feasibility tests, material feasibility tests, test of improvement of learning outcomes between students whose learning is applied props with students who are not applied props and student responses to developed props. Analysis of media and material feasibility data using descriptive techniques, analysis of improved student learning outcomes using t-test tests that previously conducted normality tests, homogeneity tests. Based on the results of the study, props were declared eligible to be applied in vocational schools with an acquisition of 94.44% for media experts and 96.25% for material experts. Improved student learning outcomes from t-test results. The analysis of students' responses to props obtained by 87.60% was very well categorized.

Abstract

This study aims to 1) the feasibility of the developed android-based interactive jobsheet, 2) the effectiveness of the developed android-based interactive jobsheet. 3) Student responses to the developed android-based interactive worksheets. This study uses the ADDIE development model. The experimental design in this study used the One-Group Pretest-Postest Design. The research sample was class X students majoring in Light Vehicle Engineering (TKR). Data analysis used normality test, homogeneity test, product feasibility test and student response analysis. The results of the analysis can be obtained that the android-based interactive jobsheet development results are stated 1) feasible both from the results of the material test and media test with an average score of 80.6% and 81.25%. 2) Effectively used in learning as evidenced by the acquisition of an N-gain of 0.52 and is categorized as a moderate increase in learning outcomes. 3) Student responses to the android-based interactive worksheets that have been developed meet the "interesting" criteria. It is proven that the average percentage of student responses is 73.43%. The researcher suggests that before doing learning, teachers and students are expected to install an Android-based interactive worksheet on a handphone or laptop.

Abstract

This research was carried out based on the results of observations in the vocational theory learning process, there were several obstacles faced, There are several obstacles, namely, 1) the methods used are lectures and discussions that are less than optimal; 2) students are less enthusiastic in learning the material because the media used by the teacher is in the form of power points and softfile modules; 3) It is not possible to use power point media and module softfiles to operate randomly and freely in adjusting the selection of the material pages you want to learn. The research objectives of this research are (1) develop Adobe Flash CS6-based learning media in Vocational Theory subjects,(2) analyze the feasibility and practicality of learning media,(3) analyze the effectiveness of using learning media. Research on the development of learning media based on Adobe Flash CS 6 using the ADDIE development model. The data collection tool for the feasibility of learning media uses media experts. Media practicality data using assessment questionnaires by teachers and students. In the results of this study, Adobe Flash CS 6 can be integrated with server side scripting such as CGI, ASP and PHP to create beautiful database web applications. In addition, it can also be used to make short films or cartoons, presentations, advertisements or web banners, logo animations.
