Abstract

The lack of creativity of educators in the use of media during the learning process is one of the driving factors for the low learning outcomes of grade VIII students in Natural Sciences (IPA) at SMP N 3 Kinali. This study aims to determine the Effect of the Use of Augmented Reality (AR) Media on the Learning Outcomes of Grade VIII Students in Natural Sciences (IPA) at SMP 3 KINALI. The type of research used is a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method consisting of an experimental class (VIII.4) and a control class VIII (3). The sampling technique in this study is purposive sampling. The research design used is the Nonequivalent Control Group. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that the use of AR media has a significant positive influence on the improvement of learning outcomes of grade VIII students in science subjects at SMP 3 Kinali. The average learning outcomes of students in the experimental class using AR media were significantly higher than in the control class. This indicates that AR media can be an effective alternative to increase students' motivation to learn and facilitate better understanding of concepts

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of the project-based learning model on Indonesian subjects in grade VIII at MTS Muhammadiyah Padang Panjang. This research was carried out with a quantitative research method in the form of a Quasi Experiment. There were 70 students as a sample in class VIII consisting of 35 people in the experimental class and 35 people in the control class. The data collection technique used is a test at the beginning and at the end of Indonesian learning. The data analysis techniques are normality tests, homogeneity tests, and hypothesis tests with the t-test method. The results of the study show that the application of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model has an effect on the learning outcomes of grade VIII students, as evidenced by the t-test value that has been carried out using Microsoft Excel in this study of 9.395 which is greater than the ttable 1.668 at the significance level of α 0.05, meaning that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. There is a significant difference between the average learning outcomes of students using the PjBL learning model. Therefore, it can be concluded that the application of the Project Based Learning model has an effect on student learning outcomes in Indonesian subject grade VIII MTS Kauman Muhammadiyah Padang Panjang

Abstract

The teacher's teaching style must be in accordance with the student's learning style. This is the same as the teacher's teaching style, which is the learning style of Chatib students, (2016). If teachers and educators already know the learning style that each individual has in the classroom, then this will help teachers in determining a good and more effective learning plan. Based on the results of the pre-observation conducted by the author, information was obtained that there were several students who during learning focused on the learning process given by the teacher. Other students who were mainly in the back position were lazy. In addition, there are students who like to disturb their friends to study. This observation shows the difference in learning styles of the students. This research is a type of correlational descriptive quantitative research. The population used in this study is 131 students registered in the 2024/2025 school year with a sample of 98 students selected using the Simple Random Sampling technique. Data collection in this study uses a learning style questionnaire and report card scores for learning outcomes. The data was processed using percentage analysis techniques and to test the relationship of the analysis data using the Pearson product moment formula. The results of the study found that in general, the learning style of SMPN 42 Padang students is in the sufficient category. Then, the learning outcomes of SMPN 42 Padang students are in the poor category. After conducting a correlation test analysis using the SPSS program, the results showed that there was a positive relationship between learning style and learning outcomes of SMP 42 Padang students with a correlation coefficient value of X and Y variables of 0.227 with a level of 0.024 with a total of 98 students.

Abstract

Along with advances in technology, the use of learning media has become crucial, especially in Vocational High Schools (SMK). This research aims to develop multimedia e-flashcard as a means of learning Business Economics. Based on theory Edgar dale Regarding concrete experiences, learning that involves real activities is proven to be more effective in increasing students' understanding. The main focus of this research is to describe the product development and evaluation process to ensure its validity, practicality and effectiveness in improving student learning outcomes in class XI vocational school business economics subjects. The method used is a development model Borg and gall, which makes it possible to test and improve the product. The validation test results show that the average material validation score reached 5.00, including the "Very Suitable" category. The average media scores were 5.00 and 4.78, reflecting the category "Very Valid." The limited practicality trial showed a score of 4.66, while the broader practicality trial achieved 4.35, both of which were categorized as "Very Practical." Learning effectiveness is measured through N-Gain Score which reached 94.88%, was declared "Effective." These findings underscore that multimedia e-flashcard functions as a strategic medium, enriching the Business Economics learning experience, both in face-to-face and distance contexts, thereby improving the quality of business economics learning in class XI vocational schools.

Abstract

This study aims to improve and enhance the learning model in higher education by using a problem-based learning (PBL) model approach with a mobile-based Moodle platform. The data tested in this study consisted of 46 respondents, 20 lecturers and 26 students. The method used in this research is research and development in the Information Systems Audot Subject. The results showed that 80% of lecturers and 82.83% of students stated that this approach was practical to be used in the learning process. Therefore, this study can be a reference in the implementation of learning using the PBL approach with the Mobile-based Moodle platform at universities in Indonesia.

Abstract

Current students need to be aware that self-efficacy in digital literacy is essential to ensure openness to technology and to possess the competence to manage available information. Digital literacy is related to the skills required to live, learn, and work in a digital society. Students who have self-efficacy in digital literacy skills will be able to strategically use technology to find and evaluate information, connect and collaborate with others, produce and share content, and use the internet and technology to achieve various personal, academic, and professional goals. This research is conducted in the form of a quantitative approach using Two-way ANOVA data analysis. The aim of this research is to describe self-efficacy in digital literacy skills among Generation Z students and the use of information and communication technology in learning.

Abstract

This research aims to test the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of E-Comic media in the Civics Education learning for eighth-grade junior high school students. This study uses the research and development (R&D) method with a simplified Borg and Gall model into three stages: preliminary study, product development and validation, and effectiveness testing. The instruments used are validation sheets and tests in the form of multiple-choice questions. The data produced are analyzed quantitatively descriptive. The E-comic media developed is considered feasible with a material validation of 4.73 and a media of 4.80. The practicality was high (4.69) and the effectiveness was sufficient (N-gain 65.74%). The presentation is engaging, accessible, and enhances students' interest and understanding. Although effective, this media is still limited to one chapter of material and tested in one school so it needs further development. The results of the development of E-comic media in PPKn learning have proven to be valid, practical, and quite effective in improving student learning outcomes. This medium makes it easier to understand material through attractive and accessible visuals. However, the scope of the material is still limited and needs further development so that it can be applied more widely in various schools

Abstract

This study aims to see the impact of using video learning media on students' learning outcomes in the subject of PAI in grade V at SDN 07 Padang Leban. This research uses quantitative research with a quasi-experimental type to compare the learning outcomes of students in the experimental class and the control class. The sample of this research consists of students from class V.A and V.B with a total of 17 students per class. The data collection technique used objective test questions totaling 50 items. The obtained data were analyzed using homogeneity tests, normality tests, and difference tests (t-tests). The research results show that the average score of the experimental class, which is 90.82, is higher than the average score of the control class, which is 74.94. From the t-test analysis, it was obtained that t_calculated > t_table, which is 2.89 > 2.03 at a significance level of α 0.05, thus Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Therefore, it can be concluded that the use of learning videos has a significant effect on students' learning outcomes in the PAI subject for grade V at SDN 07 Padang Leban Tapa.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the implementation of a differentiated approach in the subject of Computer Science. This study focuses on how teachers plan, implement, and evaluate differentiated instruction, as well as identifying the challenges faced in the prosess. This researxh uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected through interviews, classroom observations, and documentation. The research subjects incude an Informatics teacher and eighth-grades students. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. Data validity was ensured through source and method source triangulation. The teacher planned differentiated instruction by considering students’ characteristics, although the planning was still general. During implementation, the teacher applied student grouping and offered varied tasks. Evaluation was conducted through PH results, showing that moast students achieved score in the “fairly good” category. The planning and implementation of differentiated instruction were not yet optimal due to several challenges. Internal factors such as low student discipline, inappropriate behavior, and lack of motivation hindered effective learning. External factors, including inadequate school facilities sych as damaged computers and unstable internet connections, also disrupted the learning process.

Abstract

Salah satu latar belakang dilakukannya penelitian ini adalah rendahnya capaian hasil belajar peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana pengaruh penggunaan media Virtual Laboratory terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik pada materi perangkat keras komputer di tingkat SMA fase E. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan metode quasy experiment, menggunakan desain penelitian posttest only control design. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling, dengan populasi seluruh siswa kelas X reguler di SMAS Adabiah 2 Padang. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari dua kelas, yaitu kelas eksperimen yang mendapatkan pembelajaran menggunakan media Virtual Laboratory, dan kelas kontrol yang mendapatkan pembelajaran secara konvensional, masing-masing berjumlah 36 peserta didik. Data penelitian dikumpulkan melalui tes berupa pretest dan posttest, yang kemudian dianalisis menggunakan uji-t dengan tingkat signifikansi sebesar 5% (α = 0,05). Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh signifikan dari penerapan media Virtual Laboratory terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik. Hal ini dibuktikan melalui hasil uji-t yang menunjukkan nilai t-hitung sebesar 2,409 lebih besar dari t-tabel sebesar 1,994, sehingga H₀ ditolak dan Hₐ diterima. Artinya, terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil belajar peserta didik di kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media Virtual Laboratory memberikan dampak positif yang signifikan terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik pada materi perangkat keras komputer di jenjang SMA fase E.
