Abstract

Currently, the higher education system is in a continuous process of change. There is a change paradigm in learning that is nowadays being carried out online, or what is commonly known as e-learning. The purpose of this study was to discover college students perspective of e-learning that have been applied. An online survey with a semi-structured questionnaire was conducted on 177 (M: 112; F: 65) college students of the Physical Education, Health and Recreation Departement, Faculty of Teacher Training, Sriwijaya University. The results show that 70.06% of students liked the application of e-learning during the Covid-19 pandemic, but on the next semester, 63.84% of students wanted face-to-face (offline) learning. This is because 67.79% & 69.49% of students stated that there were lack of interaction with lecturers and classmates in the application of e-learning, although 64.41% of students think that the application of e-learning can increase their learning independency. The contradiction in the results of the study shows, only when an extraordinary event (pandemic) occurs, the application of e-learning becomes a priority to do, but if the situation returns to normal, students prefer faceto-face (offline) learning. This is because students are accustomed to practice in the field as a PE teacher candidate.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the interest and motivation of students towards basketball extracurricular activities at SMP Negeri 5 Indralaya Utara District. This research method is a descriptive quantitative oneshot case study. The subjects in this study used a total sampling technique with 47 students taking basketball extracurricular activities. Collecting data in this study using a questionnaire that was distributed directly. Data analysis in this study used descriptive statistics of percentages in the form of a frequency table. Based on the research results obtained regarding the interest and motivation of students towards extracurricular activities of basketball at SMP Negeri 5 Indralaya Utara District with a percentage of 49.9% included in the sufficient category. The findings of this study that the interest and motivation of students in basketball extracurricular is sufficient because this basketball extracurricular is still relatively new at SMP Negeri 5 Indralaya Utara and requires adaptation for students because the initial response of students is good so extracurricular can run as it should. The implication of the results of this study is that students' interest and motivation in extracurricular activities can be increased again by improving the training program that is designed to be more attractive, the discipline of trainers and students in order to achieve the desired goals and improve extracurricular and school achievement.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hasil uji validasi ahli pada luaran penelitian berupa aplikasi mobile learning bernama SA’BOM (Silvi Aryanti’ Badminton Models). Metode penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian dan pengembangan dari Borg and Gall. Aplikasi SA’BOM dilakukan uji validasi pada ahli permainan bulutangkis, ahli bahasa, dan ahli media. Aplikasi SA’BOM materi bulutangkis dapat digunakan untuk mahasiswa Pendidikan Jasmani, Kesehatan dan Rekreasi Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Sriwijaya. Validasi dilakukan sebanyak tiga kali sehingga didapatkan hasil yang baik. Hasil penelitian validasi pada ahli media yaitu 88,4%  kategori sangat layak, hasil validasi ahli materi permainan bulutangkis yaitu 90,7% kategori sangat layak, dan hasil penelitian validasi ahli bahasa yaitu 91,7% kategori sangat layak. Berdasarkan hasil dari ketiga ahli dapat disimpulkan bahwa Aplikasi SA’BOM sangat layak. Maka, aplikasi SA’BOM dapat dilakukan uji coba kepada mahasiswa saat pembelajaran bulutangkis.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the results of small-scale trials of research products, namely mobile learning applications for basic badminton techniques. This research is a continuation of previous research, namely the research product has been validated by experts and then in the next stage, namely conducting product trials on a small scale. Respondents in this study were 14 students of the Physical and Health Education Study Program, Faculty of Teaching and Education, Sriwijaya University. Small-scale trials are carried out by displaying mobile learning applications while learning takes place. This research is research and development by adopting Borg & Gall's theory only to small-scale trials. Based on the results of small-scale trials implementing mobile learning applications, namely 85.6% in the feasible category. The implication of this research is that mobile learning application research products are suitable for use for learning because they can be downloaded without being constrained by time and space.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the motivation of karate athletes in Ogan Ilir Regency aged 16-19 years. This research belongs to the type of quantitative descriptive research. The method in this study is a survey method. The sample used was karate athletes from Ogan Ilir Regency totaling 20 athletes consisting of male and female athletes with an age range of 16-19 years. The instrument to measure motivation is the sport motivation scale-6 (SMS-6). The results showed that the motivation of karate athletes in Ogan Ilir Regency Age 16-19 with the greatest frequency was high motivation with a total of 7 athletes with a percentage of 35%, in the moderate motivation category with 8 athletes had a percentage of 40% and low motivation only 5 athletes with a percentage of 25 %. The findings in this study are that the 1619 year old karate athletes in Ogan Ilir Regency have moderate motivation. The implementation of the results of this study is that athletes can find out their level of motivation so that in the future both coaches and administrators or the athletes themselves can implement an appropriate training program.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh masih kurangnya pengetahuan dan keterampilan di bidang massage kebugaran serta kurangnya pelatihan-pelatihan guru PJOK di Kota Palembang. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk untuk meningkatkan  pengetahuan  dan keterampilan  guru PJOK di Kota Palemban. Pengabdian ini dilakukan secara hybrid dengan menggunakan metode ceramah, demonstrasi dan praktek. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dihadiri sebanyak 50 guru PJOK baik yang hadir ditempat dan secara daring. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi kegiatan pendampingan didapatkan bahwa sebesar  89,26%  guru-guru PJOK menguasai pengetahuan tentang materi massage kebugaran dan 80,18% peserta pendampingan memiliki keterampilan dalam melakukan massage kebugaran. Kegiatan pengabdian ini meningkatnya pengetahuan dan keterampilan massage kebugaran guru-guru PJOK selain itu guru PJOK dapat melaksanakan kegiatan massage kebugaran secara mandiri dan menjadikan program masasge kebugaran sebagai salah satu industri olahraga, selain itu kegiatan hasil kegiatan PKM ini juga diharapkan dapat disebarluaskan kepada guru-guru PJOK di Kota Plaembang yang tidak mengikuti kegiatan pendampingan

Abstract

The purpose of engaging in the look at was to decide the effect of hand paddle exercise on the rate of 50 meter freestyle swimming in novice swimmers. This research technique makes use of a quasi-experimental method, which means that before being given this design treatment, it uses pretests. The studies design used is one group pretest-posttest design. The usage of the full sampling technique for sampling 30 people. The research instrument is that the entire sample performs a 50 meter freestyle swimming test. From the outcomes of records processing and evaluation using the facts normality check, hypothesis take a look at with the t test formulation, that exercises using hand paddle have an influence on 50 meters freestyle swimming speed. It may be seen from the results of statistics evaluation thru the calculation of the t-test formula with the criteria tcount (13.730) > ttable (1.70) with a belief level of 0.95 or 95% (α=0.05) and the quantity of samples (N = 30). Then the proposed speculation is ordinary. Training using hand paddle aids in the water really has an effect on 50-meter freestyle swimming speed. Based on the results of research on the effect of training using hand paddle aids which are thought to have an influence on 50-meter freestyle swimming speed, it turned out to have a significant influence on speed in 50-meter freestyle swimming at in novice swimmers of the pusri club. The implication of this study is that exercises using hand paddle aids can be done and used as an exercising program to improvement swimming speed in novice swimmers.

Abstract

Kecepatan sangat dibutuhkan dalam cabang olahraga lari jarak penek 100 meter. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode circuit training terhadap hasil lari jarak pendek 100m siswa putra peserta ekstrakurikuler olahraga di MAN 1 Ogan Ilir. Penelitian ini meliputi metodologi kuantitatif, pendekatan quasi-eksperimental, dan desain kelompok pretest-posttest. Tiga puluh siswa MAN 1 Ogan Ilir yang mengikuti ekstrakurikuler atletik menjadi sampel penelitian ini. Tes yang digunakan adalah tes sprint 100m. Setelah sesi pelatihan enam minggu, teknik pelatihan sirkuit digunakan sebagai pengobatan dalam penelitian ini. Temuan uji-t sampel berpasangan, yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan SPSS versi 26, dan menghasilkan nilai signifikan 0,00 dengan nilai 0,05, menunjukkan hal ini. Dengan demikian, berdasarkan temuan sig. 0,00 0,05, ditentukan menolak Ho dan menerima Ha. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa circuit training mempengaruhi seberapa baik kinerja siswa putra yang mengikuti kegiatan ekstrakurikuler di MAN 1 Ogan Ilir pada lari jarak pendek 100m

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of heavy bag thrust training on the results of forehand strokes in Banyuasin black rhinoceros martial arts athletes. This study used a sample of 30 students, collecting data using the forward punch test on pecing with a stopwatch measuring instrument. The method used is a quasy experiment with a pretest-posttest one group design. The results of the forehand pretest obtained the highest score of 22 and the lowest score of 12, while the results of the forehand posttest obtained the highest score of 23 and the lowest score of 12. The treatment in this study was pushing exercises using a heavy bag thrust given for 6 weeks with a frequency of 3 times a week. Test the effectiveness using the quasy experimental method with the results of a significant "t test" ɑ = 0.05 obtained tcount = (6.6) while ttable = (1.70), then tcount > ttable so that Ha can be accepted while Ho is rejected. The implication of this research is that coaches can use the heavy bag thrust training method as one of the training programs to improve the results of the forehand stroke.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the physical activity of volleyball players at Indralaya Utara 2 Junior High School.This research is quantitative research with a descriptive research design.The subjects of this study were volleyball players at Indralaya Utara 2 Junior High School with a total of 30 players consisting of 22 boys and 8 girls.Data collection used a test.The research location was carried out in an outdoor laboratory in the University Education Park.The data analysis technique uses descriptive analysis, which is expressed in the form of a percentage.The results of the study found that the physical activity of volleyball players which included endurance, speed, arm muscle strength, abdominal muscle strength, and leg muscle explosive power was in the moderate category and there were 3 players in the very good category, 6 players in the good category, 11 players in the fair category, 9 players in the poor category, 1 player in the very poor category.It can be concluded that the physical activity of volleyball players at Indralaya Utara 2 Junior High School is in the sufficient category. some of the findings have implications for the results of the research, namely the emergence of awareness for both players and students to increase and maintain physical activity wherever and whenever to improve the physical condition of players who are still in the sufficient category and still not enough so they can get better.
