Kualitas hasil ekstraksi obyek dengan algoritma closed-form solution menurun karena adanya beberapa perubahan nilai intensitas pada channel RGB. Sehingga di sekitar batas tepi obyek hasil ekstraksi terlihat kasar baik secara visual maupun hasil pengukuran dengan Mean Squared Error (MSE) antara obyek hasil ekstraksi dengan ground truth. Untuk meningkatkan kualitas hasil ekstraksi objek, nilai threshold pada unknown region ditentukan melalui adaptive threshold yang diperoleh dengan mengaplikasikan algoritma Fuzzy C-Means (FCM). Pemilihan algoritma FCM karena dalam penelitian sebelumnya algoritma ini menunjukkan hasil yang lebih robust dibandingkan algoritma Otsu untuk mendapatkan nilai threshold yang optimal. Sedangkan untuk menghaluskan obyek di sekitar daerah batas tepi digunakan filter Discrete Cosine Transform (DCT) – 2D. Dari 10 obyek yang digunakan dan dievaluasi dengan MSE menunjukkan peningkatan rata-rata sebesar 31.55%. Namun pendekatan ini tidak begitu robust pada citra yang memiliki kemiripan warna. Penggabungan pendekatan ini dengan optimasi cost function dalam alpha region pada basis spectrum diharapkan mampu meningkatkan kinerja algoritma ekstraksi obyek pada penelitian selanjutnya. Kata kunci: Closed-form Solution, Algoritma Fuzzy C-Means, Discrete Cosine Transform-2D. Abstract The research is aimed to improve the quality of the extraction of the object in a single image resulted from frame’s fragmentation of sequential compressed video. The quality of the extracted objects with closed-form solution algorithm decreased due to some changes in the intensity values on the RGB channel. Thus, the extraction result around the boundary edges of objects visually seemed to be rough and when it was measured with the Mean Squared Error (MSE) beween the object extraction results with ground truth. To improve the quality of the extracted object, the threshold value on unknown region was determined by adaptive threshold obtained by applying the Fuzzy C-Means algorithm (FCM). FCM algorithm is chosen since in the previous research this algorithm gives more robust results than Otsu algorithm to obtain the optimal threshold value. Meanwhile, to eliminate noise around the border area, this research applies Discrete Cosine Transform (DCT) - 2D filters. The result of 10 objects used and evaluated with the MSE showed an average increase of 31.55%. However, this approach is not so robust to images having similar color. Combination of this approach with optimization of the cost function on the alpha region based on spectrum is expected improving the performance of object extraction algorithm for the next research. Abstract

Factor analysis is a multivariate method that is used to analyze correlation among indicator variables so that it can be mapped into some factors. Previous research has defined the importance of the role of a hyperlink from a website, but did not examine the most influential variables from some specified hyperlink variables. It is therefore necessary to obtain a factor analysis of the factors that affect the quality of a website from some specified hyperlink variables. Due to this analysis, top 25 university websites from webometrics of January 2011 edition rank have been selected as the research objects. The hyperlink data was obtained by utilizing two search engines, Google.com and Yahoo.com, then this hyperlink data were analyzed using factor analysis methods. The result should that the role of hyperlink total factor (0,254) and external hyperlinks factor (0,253) greatly affect the quality of a website on the review in terms of hyperlink perspective with analysis factor. This research also resulted in a new rank of university websites that can be used as one parametric for a good website's according to hyperlink analysis. The results of this analysis was tested at the level of correlation with parameters of size and visibility webometrics using Pearson correlation method with a highly significant result of 0.575.

Algoritma Contrast Limited Adaptive Histogram image Equalization (CLAHE) diusulkan untuk meningkatkan kualitas citra bawah laut tersebut, karena menurunnya kualitas citra bawah laut dapat disebabkan oleh penyerapan dan hamburan sinar matahari. Dalam mengembangkan rekonstruksi 3D permukaan bawah laut, pasangan citra stereo diekstrak secara manual dari rekaman video yang diperoleh, yang kemudian dilakukan proses pencocokan citra stereo menggunakan algoritma SIFT. Kelebihan algoritma SIFT tersebut adalah tahan terhadap perubahan skala, transformasi, dan rotasi dari sepasang citra tersebut. Banyaknya matching point antar 2 citra stereo dijadikan ukuran untuk mengetahui kinerja CLAHE terhadap algoritma SIFT. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa penggunaan CLAHE dan outlier removal mampu meningkatkan jumlah matching point sebesar 56%. Keberhasilan CLAHE tersebut perlu diujikan ke beberapa algoritma matching point yang lain. Perbandingan beberapa algoritma matching point yang menerapkan CLAHE dapat membuktikan bahwa CLAHE sangat cocok dalam meningkatkan kinerja algoritma matching point dan rekonstruksi permukaan 3D citra bawah laut. Kata kunci: Rekonstruksi 3D, Citra Bawah Laut, SIFT, CLAHE. Abstract This research describes an enhancement of 3D Reconstruction coral reef images using stereo camera system. Contrast Limited Adaptive Histogram image Equalization (CLAHE) algorithm was proposed to enhance the image quality in preprocessing area, since the quality of underwater images degrades by the absorption and scattering of light. To develop a 3D-representation of the seafloor, image-pairs were first extracted from the video footage manually, then corresponding points are automatically extracted from the stereo-pairs by SIFT matching algorithm, which is invariant to scale, translation, and rotation. Number of matching points is used to evaluate the performance of SIFT with and without CLAHE. As a result, the promising techniques provides better 3D reconstruction details of coral reef imagesin total, the combination of CLAHE and outlier removal performs the enhancement for 56%. For further, CLAHE need to be performed to other image matching techniques. The comparison of different image matching techniques with and without CLAHE can prove that CLAHE is appropriate as image enhancement method for image matching and 3D surface reconstruction. Abstract

Nowadays, the proliferation of game technology especially in intelligent human-like NPCs (Non-Player Characters) leads to more adaptive behavior of NPCs maneuvers. Providing smoother behaviors require comprehensive rules base which can respond to players behaviors. Addressing this requirement we propose NPCs which had tactical behaviors based on fuzzy logic. The fuzzy logic defines four type behaviors for the NPCs, which depend on NPC health, ammo, and distance of the enemy.Those behaviors implemented on two intelligent agents employed Hierarchical Finite State Machine to express the maneuver actions of NPC during combat scenes. Using First Person Game Engine, the performance of NPCs with fuzzy behavior compared with NPC without fuzzy behavior. The results of experiment showed the performance of the NPC with Fuzzy behavior outperform 80% better than the NPC without fuzzy behavior.

Abstract

Penempatan posisi kamera secara manual membutuhkan proses dan perhitungan yang berulang-ulang untuk sebuah adegan, tentu saja hal ini akan membutuhkan banyak waktu dan biaya. Oleh karena itu dibuat sebuah sistem penempatan posisi kamera secara otomatis dalam lingkungan virtual yang sesuai dengan kaidah sinematografi. Sistem akan menangani pengaturan kamera untuk mendapat sudut, jarak dan ketinggian  yang cocok untuk setiap adegan. Penelitian ini akan menggunakan simulasi permainan komputer dengan beberapa aksi dengan dua macam gaya penempatan posisi kamera yaitu kamera statis dan kamera dinamis. Metode yang digunakan adalah logika fuzzy dengan metode mamdani. Terdapat 3 tahapan yang dilakukan yaitu tahap masukan dari pengguna berupa kombinasi penekanan tombol untuk melakukan sebuah aksi. Tahap kedua adalah sistem inferensi fuzzy yang akan mengolah input menjadi output. Tahap terakhir adalah perekaman aksi berdasarkan posisi kamera yang telah ditentukan. Selain itu dalam simulasi permainan ini akan dipasang modul event selector  untuk validasi aksi dan modul state director untuk operator transisi kamera virtual. Uji coba dilakukan dengan cara merekam 7 macam aksi dan akan divalidasi berdasarkan profiling dan responden.  Dari uji coba didapatkan nilai 3.66 untuk kamera statis dan 4.08 untuk kamera dinamis. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa sistem yang dibangun mampu melakukan penempatan posisi kamera sesuai kaidah sinematografi.

Abstract

Porositas tanah dibutuhkan untuk diketahui agar tanah dapat dimanfaatkan sebelum bercocok tanam. Porositas dapat ditingkatkan dengan melakukan pengolahan tanah. Salah satu caranya adalah dengan melakukan pembajakan lahan menggunakan peralatan bajak, contohnya bajak singkal. Bajak singkal memiliki kemampuan untuk memecah permukaan tanah, membalik dan mengubur rumput serta tanaman sisa panen dan gulma. Aktivitas tersebut menghasilkan bongkahan tanah dengan ukuran lebih kecil untuk menyediakan ruang bagi air dan udara dalam tanah. Pembentukan ruang dalam tanah dalam proses pengolahan tanah dipengaruhi oleh sudut potong dan kecepatan maju bajak. Pada sebuah hipotesa menyebutkan bahwa sudut potong dan kecepatan maju bajak berpengaruh terhadap porositas tanah. Pertambahan sudut potong vertikal bajak, menyebabkan porositas meningkat. Pertambahan ini menyebabkan penurunan gaya normal sehingga kecepatan maju bajak bertambah. Pertambahan kecepatan maju bajak juga mempengaruhi peningkatan porositas. Pada hipotesa tersebut dihasilkan sebuah pemodelan perhitungan porositas tanah dengan empat buah variabel yang belum diketahui nilainya. Keempat buah variabel tersebut akan dicari nilainya menggunakan pendekatan algoritma genetika. Agar proses pada algoritma genetika dapat berjalan optimal, diperlukan nilai acuan lain yang sudah diketahui, seperti sudut potong, kecepatan dan porositas. Besaran sudut adalah 20°, kecepatan pada gigi terendah adalah 0,83 m/s dan nilai porositas adalah 51,45%. Optimasi yang dilakukan oleh algoritma genetika menghasilkan nilai porositas sebesar 51,4498%.

Abstract

To produce a 3D virtual character's face expression of human’s natural face expressions, facial motion capture is the technique considered to be the most effective one, especially in terms of production speed. However, there are still some results showing that the expression is not so expressive, especially on the side of the 3D character which has a different facial features than the real models regarding to the application of it. In this research, the correction of the basic expressions of faces in the process of facial motion retargeting was done by using blendshape interpolation method that was based on fuzzy logic. Blendshape interpolation method is the method used to combine multiple shapes into one blend with the concept of interpolation. In this research, the process of blendshape meets the concept of linear interpolation which the movement of a point of vertexon blendshape used straight lines . Blendshape method will be run as a proofreader on the results of retargeting process. Theweighting of blendshape will be assigned automatically from the results of the calculation of fuzzy logic, which refers to the input of the marker position of the facial motion retargeting. This weight is then used to provide improvements to create more expressive expressions. This process will be easier and faster to do than doing customize one by one at the vertex point manually. To avoid the appearance of irregular motion (haphazard movement), it is necessary to give the limitation of the weight (weight constraint) with range of [0,1].Keywords : Blendshape, retargeting, fuzzy logic, facial motion capture.

Abstract

Many game applications require fluid flow visualization of shallow water, especially dam-break flow. A Shallow Water Equation (SWE) is a mathematical model of shallow water flow which can be used to compute the flow depth and velocity. We propose a stable algorithm for visualization of dam-break flow on flat and flat with bumps topography. We choose Lax-Friedrichs scheme as the numerical method for solving the SWE. Then, we investigate the consistency, stability, and convergence of the scheme. Finally, we transform the strategy into a visualization algorithm of SWE and analyze the complexity. The results of this paper are: 1) the Lax-Friedrichs scheme that is consistent and conditionally stable; furthermore, if the stability condition is satisfied, the scheme is convergent; 2) an algorithm to visualize flow depth and velocity which has complexity O(N) in each time iteration. We have applied the algorithm to flat and flat with bumps topography. According to visualization results, the numerical solution is very close to analytical solution in the case of flat topography. In the case of flat with bumps topography, the algorithm can visualize the dam-break flow and after a long time the numerical solution is very close to the analytical steady-state solution. Hence the proposed visualization algorithm is suitable for game applications containing flat with bumps environments.

Abstract

The development of smart city operation room of Makassar possesses several equally important stages which are equally important. There are four stages of development that are 1) data center construction, 2) camera distribution around the city , 3) wall room monitoring construction, and 4) smart operation room architecture construction. Since the time and cost are limited, it forces the project manager to be able to manage and  control the  priority in  conducting the  project. There are several usable criteria to determine the priority in conducting the project development through criteria consideration of the entire project stages. Project priority optimization system aims at making every single project activity effective including its evaluation process. It also exposes a ranking illustration of foremost project priority by providing cost preference of the entire development stages. Fuzzy Multi-Criteria Decision-Making is used to illustrate the project priority rank and further to determine the alternative optimal option in conducting the project. This enforces particular project to  allocate its  cost to  the  project  with  a higher level of cost necessity. The company, therefore, enables to make effective funding for the entire project based on the level of importance and time achievement and subsequently it promotes  accessible  technology integration.  The  conducted experiment suggests that the first construction of the project is data center construction followed by wall room construction and  CCTV  distribution. This  is  relevant  with  optimization value result of data center 0,405 higher than A2 0,42 for wall room construction and A3 CCTV distribution 0,24.

Abstract

his paper discusses how to enhance the ability of text modeling in Arabic during chat sessions. Hanini and Jabari et al. modeled the text in chat sessions, but there is still a problem when using Arabic , because the Arabic language is very difficult to comprehend, has complex derivative and many ambiguities. This paper enhanced the previous study and added MADAMIRA tool to analyze the Arabic text. Monitoring and modeling has been completed through the text modeling process by evaluating the student expressions within the chat session using MADAMIRA tool and machine learning. MADAMIRA tool enables the modeling process to categorize Arabic text into different categories, which makes it easier to use the levels of the used expressions and discover the importance of the chat session between two peers. The process of the student modeling using MADAMIRA and Machine learning will update the student model which gathers information about the student achievements within the AVCM.
