Abstract

Abstract. In today's information technology-integrated education, designing teaching activities for digital learning and flexibly using technology tools is the most important issue. The design of authentic materials and materials in English as a second or foreign language via Tubequizard's innovative web has a significant impact on language learners at the university level, according to this paper. Applying a mixed method, this study highlighted the undergraduate students’ perceptions of their experience with Tubequizard as ELT materials during COVID 19. By using purposive sampling, this study sample involved 71 students and five students for an online interview at the computer science faculty of Universitas Al Asyariah Mandar located at West Sulawesi, Indonesia. By conducting an online survey, the instruments of this study used a questionnaire and interviews. The findings of this study resulted in Tubequizard content being helpful to students to engage and motivate them in learning English, and their respondents strongly believe that Tubequizard is a technology innovation for lecturers in designing their teaching materials to be more interesting, easy to understand, Tubequizard materials according to the student’s needs, supported accelerate learning, suitable for all English skills, engage students in active and autonomous learning, expand students’ knowledge, meet positively students expectations in English class, encourage students to think creatively and critically, and suitable to give ideas for EFL classroom than the traditional model. Thus, it can be concluded that for teaching foreign languages, authentic and culturally appropriate materials are essential.Keywords: Digital language learning, developing materials, EFL, Technology and Tubequizard

Abstract

Program Kemitraan Masyarakat (PKM) bagi guru sekolah dasar dilakukan dalam bentuk kegiatan pelatihan ppelaksanaan pendekatan Teaching At The Right Level . Tujuan kegiatan pelatihan ini untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan pemahaman bagi guru sekolah sehingga dapat membantu sekolah dalam meningkatkan kemampuan guru pada pelaksanaan pendekatan teaching at the right level. Kegiatan pelatihan ini menggunakan metode ceramah, tanya jawab dan diskusi. Peserta pelatihan adalah guru sekolah dasaryang berjumlah 20 orang. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan bahwa sebelum pelatihan dilakukan guru kurang baik memahami materi pelaksanaan pendekatan teaching at the right level, dan setela dilakukan pelatihan peserta sudah memahami dengan kategori baik, sehingga diharapkan guru bisa melaksanakan pendekatan tersebut di sekolah masing-masing, Setelah pelatihan guru sekolah dasar dapat mengerti dan memahami materi yang diberikan pada kegiatan ini, karena materi ini di lengkapi dengan latihan memahaman pelaksanaan teaching at the right level (TARL) sehingga kendala guru dalam pelaksanaan pelaksanaan pendekatan TARL di sekolah bisa diselesaikan dengan baik.

Abstract

This research aims to find out whether the peer tutoring learning method influences the learning outcomes of begambo dance. This method is used in experimental research methods (one group pretest and posttest design). The subjects of this research were students in class X E 5 of SMA Negeri 2 Babat Toman. The samples were taken based on the criteria used by the researcher, so the samples were taken using a purposive sampling technique and obtained class X E 5 experimental classes. The data analysis used is the t-test, data collection using observation techniques, the work test is the implementation of the pretest and posttest and the supporting data collection is documentation. Based on data analysis, the research results show that the students' scores on the posttest are greater than the students' scores on the pretest. H_(0) is accepted if t_(count)≤t_tabel while t_(count) is 3.19 and t_tabel 1.98. So it can be said that there is an influence of the use of the peer tutoring method on Begambo dance learning at SMA Negeri 2 Babat Toman with the hypothesis testing criteria Hadi Accepted and H0 is rejected. This shows that there is an influence of the peer tutoring method on the value of learning outcomes of begambo dance in class X E 5 SMA Negeri 2 Babat Toman.

Abstract

Ciramahilir Village in Purwakarta Regency faces a serious problem due to the lack of street lighting, which negatively impacts the safety, comfort, and socio-economic activities of the community. This community service program aimed to improve the quality of life for residents by installing solar-powered street lights at strategic locations within the village. The approach used was Participatory Action Research (PAR), involving the community actively in every stage of the program—from problem identification and planning to implementation and evaluation. The results show that the street lighting intervention had a positive impact on residents' sense of security, increased night-time activities, and strengthened collective awareness to maintain public infrastructure. Additionally, technical training and assistance enhanced the community's capacity to sustain the installed systems. This activity also demonstrated that appropriate renewable energy technology can serve as an effective tool for promoting sustainable social change in rural areas.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the representation of Batak culture in the film Missing Home by Bene Dion Rajagukguk in relation to interpersonal communication and its impact on the development of tourism in North Sumatra, particularly Bukit Holbung. The method used is a qualitative approach with in-depth analysis of questionnaire data based on audience reviews. The findings indicate that the film successfully portrays the values of custom, interpersonal communication, and the dynamics of Batak families authentically, thereby increasing public interest in visiting the filming locations. Additionally, the increase in tourist visits to Bukit Holbung following the film's screening has a positive impact on the local economy through the development of facilities and products managed by local BUMDES (village-owned enterprises). The implications of this research emphasize the importance of film media as an effective means of promoting culture and tourism, while also encouraging the preservation of traditional values in a modern context. This research is expected to serve as a reference for the development of culture-based tourism and intercultural communication in Indonesia.

Abstract

This research examines the role of Majelis Ta'lim Berkat Sidin in Sangatta Utara as a non-formal educational institution in improving religious understanding and social life of the community. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that Majelis Ta'lim Berkat Sidin succeeded in deepening the religious insight of the congregation through regular recitations that discussed aqidah, sharia and morals. Interactive learning methods, such as discussion and question and answer, increase participants' understanding of Islamic teachings. In addition, the assembly contributes to social solidarity through community activities such as fundraising and social services. However, there are challenges in developing facilities and improving the competence of teachers. This study confirms the importance of Majelis Ta'lim as agents of social and spiritual change in building harmonious communities based on Islamic values.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji implementasi manajemen perpustakaan dengan fokus pada pelayanan pengguna di Perpustakaan Kabupaten Gowa. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Informan penelitian terdiri dari kepala perpustakaan, staf sirkulasi, dan pengunjung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi manajemen perpustakaan mencakup tiga aspek utama: perencanaan layanan (strategi penambahan koleksi, penyediaan fasilitas, dan kesiapan staf), pelaksanaan layanan (penerimaan pengunjung, peminjaman buku, dan penyampaian informasi), serta evaluasi pelayanan berdasarkan kepuasan pengguna. Hambatan yang dihadapi meliputi kekurangan staf, jam operasional yang terbatas, dan penataan buku yang kurang rapi. Sebagai solusi, perpustakaan berupaya memberikan pelayanan optimal meski dengan keterbatasan yang ada.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji tentang Analisis Fungsi Perpustakaan Sekolah Di SMA 3 Enrekang meliputi 5 indikator sub fokus pencapaian yaitu fungsi informatif, fungsi pendidikan, fungsi rekreasi, fungsi tanggung jawab administrasi, dan fungsi penelitian. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran mengenai analisis fungsi perpustakaan Sekolah di SMA Negeri 3 Enrekang mulai dari penyedian informasi petugas perpustakaan kepada siswa, seperti apa peran perpustakaan mengembangkan potensi siswa dalam lingkup pendidikan, bagaimana pihak petugas perpustakaan menyajikan informasi penting dan menghadirkan efek refresh bagi siswa, bagaimana pencatatan dan pengarsipan yang dilakukan oleh pihak perpustakaan yang ada di sekolah, bagaimana peneliti dapat menyediakan berbagai informasi mengenai perpustakaan di sekolah. Pendekatan penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskripsi. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan Model Miles dan Huberman. Pengecekan keabsahan data menggunakan teknik trianggulasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa di Sekolah SMA Negeri 3 Enrekang baik melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi maka diperoleh analisis fungsi perpustakaan yaitu fungsi informatif, fungsi pendidikan, fungsi rekreasi, fungsi tanggung jawab administrasi, dan fungsi penelitian. Wujud fungsi analisis perpustakaan dapat dilihat dari perpustakaan menjadi pusat sumber ilmu pengetahuan dan informasi yang ada di sekolah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh fakta bahwa pengelolaan perpustakaan digital berbasis aplikasi dapat mendukung ketersediaan informasi bagi masyarakat dengan cara yang cepat, akurat, tepat, mudah, terjangkau, dan spesifik. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui gambaran penerapan system aplikasi iPusBantaeng serta mengetahui faktor pendukung dan penghambat daIam penerapan system aplikasi iPusBantaeng. Sumber data dari penelitian ini yakni Kepala Dinas Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan Kabupaten Bantaeng, Kepala Bidang Penyelenggara Perpustakaan, dan juga Operator iPusBantaeng. Pendekatan penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara, dokumentasi, dan observasi. Hasil penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa 1). Penerapan perpustakaan digital berbasis aplikasi melibatkan tiga tahapan utama, yaitu a) proses digitalisasi dokumen, pada proses ini digitalisasi belum dilakukan oleh Dinas Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan Kabupaten Bantaeng; b) proses penyimpanan dokumen, pada proses ini juga belum dilakukan oleh  Dinas Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan Kabupaten Bantaeng ; c) proses pencarian kembali dokumen proses ini bisa dilakukan oleh pengguna dengan mengunduh aplikasi ini di Play Store. 2) Faktor pendukung dialami oleh pihak Dinas Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan Kabupaten Bantaeng meliputi,kerja sama yang baik dengan pihak Aksaramaya, evaluasi dan pengawasan dari Kepala Dinas dan Kepala bidang penyelenggara perpustakaan kabuptaen Bantaeng, masyarakat yang responsif dengan aplikasi ini. Adapun faktor penghambatknya ialah, terbatasnya alokasi anggaran untuk Dinas Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan, keterbatasan daIam penguasaan kendali terhadap aplikasi iPusBantaeng, hanya bisa diakses oleh pengguna android belum bisa di akses oleh pengguna iOS.
