Abstract

The ventilator is a supporter of respiratory needs which is very important for the patient so that there are several parameters that must be monitored specifically, such as the measurement of pressure and flow rate used in the ventilator system, the accuracy of which must be in accordance with the accuracy of the respirator. One of the important parameters to monitor is PIF (Peak Inspiratory Flow) which is the peak inspiratory flow rate given through the ventilator. PIF that is too high or too low can cause adverse effects on the patient. PIF monitoring can be seen through the PIF value and waveform on the PIF. Monitoring the waveform of the PIF will be very useful to improve the results of using the ventilator. The purpose of this research is to get the accuracy and precision of the sensor to display the waveform of the ventilator output. The procedure carried out is to use the F1031V sensor to detect the flow generated by the ventilator and then detect the PIF value and PIF waveform. From this research, the measurement of accuracy and precision of the F1031V sensor to detect PIF and generate a waveform graph is said to be good. This is because the highest error value is ±2.04% at the 20 LPM setting. While the value of the largest standard deviation at the 30 LPM setting is 1.517 and the greatest uncertainty value at the 30 LPM setting is 0.061. Then, the largest correction value is found in the setting of 20 LPM and 30 LPM, namely 0.4. PIF monitoring is carried out to maximize patient care and reduce the breakdown time on the ventilator.

Abstract

A laboratory incubator is a device used to incubate a breed. a very important condition in the procedure Incubator is the optimal temperature conditions for microorganisms to grow. The incubator is equipped with a temperature controller so that the temperature can be adjusted according to the breed to be raised. Incubators use an oven like dry heat. The purpose of this study was to test and analyze the accuracy of the thermocouple sensor with incubator media in a laboratory incubator calibrator. The main design method uses the 8 MAX 6675 module, the 8 K type Thermocouple module, Arduino Mega, and SD Card data storage. Temperature measurements were measured with a Type K thermocouple sensor. The thermocouple sensor has 8 channels which function to measure the temperature at each camber point of the incubator. The temperature will be stored on the SD card for data analysis and the data can be processed in graphical form. Benchmarking is done using a temperature data logger. This is done so that the design results are below the standard comparison tool. The measurement results on the module compared to the comparison tool obtained the largest error value, namely 3.98%, namely on channel T6 at 35°C with ordinary incubator media and the smallest error on ordinary incubator media at point T6 at 37°C, which is 0.06 % and at 35 C the temperature of the incubator fan has the largest error of 2.98% and the smallest error of 0.86%. the module can perform well by testing the comparison tool at every point

Abstract

Digital thermometers are measuring instruments needed to perform temperature measurement actions and must be calibrated periodically according to standard measurement methods. The purpose of developing this tool is to add PID control to the calibration media where PID control aims to regulate the stability of the temperature setting to be achieved. This is achieved by studying and evaluating the effect of temperature stability on the heater and LM35DZ temperature sensor. This research method uses the Arduino Nanosystem for data processing and PID system control. The LM35DZ temperature sensor on the heater is regulated by a 2 Channel SSR module using a PID system then the temperature generated by the heater will be read by the LM35DZ and displayed on the LCD. The results of this study, digital thermometer calibrator measurements have been successfully carried out by comparing 3 digital thermometers with different brands, namely Omron 343F, Omron 245, and ThermoOne. The difference in error values in oil media is 3-4% and in water media 2-4% with the value of time stability in water media for 3-3.3 minutes and in oil media for 1-2 hours. With this comparison of calibration media, it is hoped that it can help in measuring temperature with better and more effective results. find methods, results, conclusions.

Abstract

The target for this community service program is a resident of Jl. Parikesit RT 05 RW 03 Dusun Picis, Balongdowo Village, Candi District, Sidoarjo Regency. He had a work accident in one of the industries in the city of Sidoarjo in 2010 on the left wrist up to the fingers, so the doctor suggested amputation. He is actually still in his productive age (36 years old) but because of this situation, he is unable to carry out activities in the world of work and has decreased confidence in himself and avoids socializing in society. The purpose of this community partnership program (PKM) activity is to apply 3d printing technology in the manufacture of prosthetic hands for people who have transradial amputations as an effort to improve the quality of life. The implementation methods used are: a) the measurement of several physical parameters on the amputee such as the diameter of the arm circumference, the length of the amputated part, weight and height. In addition to physical parameters, we also carry out medical measurements, including obtaining information on health conditions such as blood pressure, heart health and blood glucose levels, b) designing prosthetic hands using 3D application programs and 3D printers, c) mechanical and functional testing for perform basic movements in the form of opening and closing the palms, d) monitoring and evaluation of the use of prosthetic hands. The results obtained from this activity are that the patient can use the prosthetic hand to assist with activities in carrying out daily activities. In this PKM activity, amputees have been tested, namely the movement of holding a mineral water bottle, holding a banana, peeling a banana peel and driving a two-wheeled motorized vehicle. Monitoring shows that patients need regular exercise in using prosthetic hands so that they are able to control and condition their use. In the future, several developments can be made, including in terms of control and size of the prosthetic hand so that patients can feel the benefits of a prosthetic hand that functions like a normal hand.

Abstract

The problems faced by partners are: in carrying out traditional massage massage practice activities, partners do not carry out the process of recording medical conditions before or after the massage process. Thus, this causes partners to be unable to remember the conditions before and after the provision of traditional massage therapy. In addition, when giving traditional massage to patients who have to return periodically, partners cannot know the impact after giving traditional massage. So, to know the result is to ask questions to the patient (e.g. "how is the result after the massage?"). Therefore, monitoring the massage process in post-stroke patients is qualitative and subjective. The implementation methods are: Measuring the physical and medical parameters of the patient such as weight, height and blood pressure, before and after the partner performs traditional massage to the patient, the bio-electrical muscle signal (EMG) is measured by attaching electrodes to the partially paralyzed limbs. Next, the patient contracted the muscle by pressing a rubber ball connected to an electronic pressure measuring module. Together with partners, they monitor the measured value of the muscle bio-electric signal (which is displayed on the computer panel), c) monitor the bio-electric signal in post-stroke patients who undergo traditional massage therapy in subsequent therapy activities (2-5 therapies). The output of PKM activities with the title "Implementation of Muscle Bio-electric Signal Measurement to Monitor the Healing Process of Post-Stroke Patients as an Effort to Support Traditional Massage Workers" is the device that can be used by the partners to monitor the effect of the massage to the patient. The targets and achievements expected in this PKM activity are that partners can monitor the effectiveness of traditional massage with the support of science and technology.

Abstract

Information systems are currently developing very rapidly, and this is inseparable from the role of internet of things (IoT) technology, especially in the world of telemedicine. MitApp is an open-source application that can be used to monitor electrocardiogram (ECG) signals in real-time. The aim of this study is to develop an IoT-based ECG signal monitoring system that utilizes the MitApp application to detect abnormal ECG signals that are characterized by symptoms of cardiac arrhythmias. To process ECG signal data obtained from lead electrode results, the research method utilizes Arduino Uno as a microcontroller. The result is then displayed on the thin film transistor (TFT) layer using the Nextion module. The ESP32 module is used as a Wi-Fi module to send data to the MitApp app on a smartphone. The results showed that the results of the comparison test of ECG signal module data with ECG simulator tools with beats per minute values of 60, 80, 100, 120, and 140 obtained an error rate of 0.05. Based on these results, there is potential to develop this feature and integrate the system with the patient management system to improve the effectiveness of remote monitoring.
