Abstract

During the COVID-19 pandemic, the psychological well-being of nurses is at stake. As nurses, especially mental health nurses, the stressful environment around day-to-day care and additional work in addition to nursing care and inaccuracies in how to cope with problems that arose during the pandemic, left mental health nurses psychologically burdened. The research method used in this study is a systematic approach adopted for the literature review. Databases searched include SCIENCE DIRECT, SCOPUS, SPINGERLINK, TAYLOR & FRANCIS, and WILEY. The search was conducted from September 2022 to December 2022. Strict criteria were given that the study must examine the psychological well-being status of mental health nurses during COVID-19; It must be stated that the mental health nurse in question is a nurse who works in mental health services, including in hospitals and communities; using quantitative and qualitative methods as well as mix methods must be published in English: and the required studies were published in March 2020 to 2022. All 10 articles were included in the review to be assessed for quality. For data analysis, a deductive approach is carried out according to the theory of psychological well-being, and content analysis is carried out, namely grouping categories after the integration of quantitative evidence, qualitative, mixed methods, and then categorial synthesis is carried out. The results of this study stated that the initial search resulted in a total of 7,752 publications, ultimately resulting in 10 studies reviewed, in the form of 6 quantitative studies, 3 mixed methods studies, and 1 qualitative study. Six (6) categories are arranged according to Ryff's theory of psychological well-being: autonomy, environmental mastery, self-development, positive relationships with others, purpose in life, and self-acceptance. The studies reviewed show that the efforts made by mental health nurses in providing nursing care in accordance with COVID-19 prevention and control programs have shown success in maintaining the psychological well-being status of mental nurses  Keyword: COVID-19, Nurse Mental Health, Psychological well-being

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of family psychoeducation in reducing the burden on families who experience stigma as tuberculosis clients and have a history of drug withdrawal. The research method used was a case report on one family with one caregiver who experienced the burden and anxiety of tuberculosis clients with a history of drug withdrawal. Interviews and observations used the Hamilton Rating Scale (HARS) instrument on caregivers and the Zarit Burden Interview (ZBI) instrument. The results showed that family psychoeducation with six sessions at four meetings could reduce anxiety and burden on caregivers with an initial HARS score of 29 to 16 (mild anxiety) and a ZBI score of 44 to 34 (light-moderate perceived burden). In conclusion, family psychoeducation affects client adherence to treatment; in family psychoeducational interventions, health workers coordinate with caregivers to reduce anxiety and increase caregiver knowledge about the client's illness. Family psychoeducation also plays a role in overcoming social and self-stigma in clients and families. Keywords: Family Psychoeducation, Drug Dropout, Stigma, Pulmonary Tuberculosis

Abstract

Masalah psikososial adalah masalah yang sering terjadi pada lansia terkait masa krisis akibat penuaan. Logoterapi merupakan salah satu metode terapi yang dapat digunakan dalam mengatasi  masalah psikososial yang dialami lansia. Belum ada tinjauan sistematis tentang efektifitas logoterapi terhadap masalah psikososial lansia. Meninjau dan mengevaluasi artikel yang berkaitan dengan pengaruh logoterapi pada masalah psikososial yang dialami oleh lansia. Studi ini merupakan Systematic Review dengan menggunakan metode Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyzes (PRISMA) untuk mengevaluasi efektifitas logoterapi terhadap masalah psikososial pada lansia. Penelusuran literatur yang dilakukan menemukan 7 artikel yang relevan setelah disesuaikan dengan kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi. Logoterapi dapat digunakan sebagai salah satu terapi modalitas pada lansia dengan masalah psikososial baik di komunitas maupun yang tinggal panti jompo.

Abstract

Permainan game online memeberikan dampak pada psikologis remaja yang bermain game online dapat menimbulkan masalah  seperti munculnya perilaku agresif pada pengguna game online. Remaja merupakan kelompok usia yang paling banyak dalam menggunakan internet sebagai sarana bermain game onlibe untuk mendeskripsikan hubungan antara penggunaan game online dengan perilaku agresif remaja pengguna game online. Penelitian ini menggunakan systematic review dari online database: Ebsco, Science Direct, Pubmed, dan Wiley (2012-2022) dengan menggunakan kata kunci adolescents, online games, aggressivenes. Hasil penelitian ini terdapat 6 jurnal yang telah memenuhi kriteria dan di telaah lebih dalam dan menunjukan game online merupakan stressor terjadinya perilaku yang agresif pada remaja. Ada hubungan antara game online dengan perilaku agresif pada remaja pengguna game online.

Abstract

This research aims to provide an overview of the application of communication skills training in implementing psychoeducation for families caring for clients with hypertension. The research method used in this research is a case report that describes and analyzes the benefits of implementing communication methods with families in caring for clients with hypertension. The study showed a change in healthy lifestyle and an increase in the quality of care for clients with hypertension after implementing communication skills training in the implementation of family psychoeducation. In conclusion, applying communication skills training in the performance of psychoeducation for families caring for clients with hypertension can improve healthy lifestyles and the quality of health care services for clients with hypertension. Abstract

This research aims to describe family psychoeducation for married couples who suffer from chronic illnesses. The research method used was a case report conducted at RT 01/RW 09, Tegallega Village, Sempur District, Central Bogor City, on clients with diabetes mellitus with diabetic wounds by providing family psychoeducation in 6 sessions to the primary caregiver over five meetings. The research results showed that the CANSAS assessment found that three types of family needs were unmet. In conclusion, family psychoeducation can be used for husband and wife couples who suffer from chronic diseases by reducing psychological problems and the burden on caregivers in caring for clients with chronic conditions, namely diabetes mellitus. Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of burden management using the approach of health cadres and community leaders through family psychoeducation in overcoming the subjective burden of families in caring for clients with mental disorders. The method used is a case report. This case report was carried out on a family with a family member with mental illness. The intervention given to the family was family psychoeducation, which was carried out in 6 sessions involving health cadres and community leaders. The research results show that burden management sessions in family psychoeducation involving the role of cadres and community leaders can reduce the family's burden. In conclusion, family burden management involving health cadres and community leaders can reduce the subjective responsibility of families in caring for clients with mental disorders. Abstract

Deinstitusionalisasi layanan kesehatan jiwa mengharuskan keluarga dapat menjadi perawat utama bagi klien gangguan jiwa. Ketidaksiapan keluarga dapat mengakibatkan kesulitan pada keluarga seperti stres psikologis akibat memiliki keluarga yang mengalami gangguan jiwa, kebutuhan keluarga yang tidak terpenuhi, kendala keuangan, kurangnya dukungan sosial, gangguan fungsi keluarga, stigma, diskriminasi, dan ekspresi emosi. Tujuan dari studi kasus ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi pengaruh family psychoeducation (FPE) terhadap kecemasan caregiver merawat anggota keluarga dengan gangguan jiwa berat. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain studi kasus. Sampel terdiri dari 1 keluarga yang merupakan caregiver utama klien. Intervensi family psychoeducation dilakukan dengan kunjungan rumah selama 5 minggu dengan 6 sesi pertemuan yaitu: 1) mengidentifikasi masalah klien dan keluarga; 2) merawat masalah klien; 3) manajemen stres keluarga; 4) manajemen beban keluarga; 5) memanfaatkan sistem pendukung; dan 6) mengevaluasi manfaat psikoedukasi keluarga. Intervensi dilakukan dengan frekuensi seminggu sekali namun untuk sesi 5 dan 6 dilakukan dalam satu minggu. Durasi rata-rata 45-60 menit setiap sesi. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah Self-Reporting Questionnaire (SRQ)-20. Hasil pengukuran Self-Reporting Questionnaire (SRQ)-20 sebelum intervensi family psychoeducation adalah 9, caregiver mengalami kecemasan yang dapat dikategorikan pada gangguan mental emosional. Sesudah intervensi family psychoeducation terjadi penurunan skor SRQ menjadi 3 yang dapat dikategorikan pada kondisi sehat. Kesimpulan family psychoeducation menurunkan kecemasan caregiver dalam merawat anggota keluarga dengan gangguan jiwa berat. Family psychoeducation dapat dijadikan sebagai terapi bagi keluarga yang memiliki anggota keluarga dengan gangguan jiwa berat.

Abstract

Introduction: Discharge planning is transferring a patient to a different level of care to improve continuity of care by bridging the gap between hospital and community care. This study aimed to explore the perspectives of healthcare professionals involved in discharge planning for patients with mental illness. Method: This research used qualitative methods with a phenomenological approach. Ten participants were selected using a purposive sampling method, with inclusion criteria healthcare professionals involved in the discharge planning process for patients in psychiatric hospitals, had worked in the service for at least 5 years, and provided direct or indirect services to patients. Data were collected through in-depth interviews using interview guides, recording devices, and field notes. Data were analyzed using thematic analysis. Results: The study identified four themes related to discharge planning preparation for patients with mental illness perceptions of roles and experiences in discharge planning, internal and external barriers in discharge planning, internal and external support in discharge planning and expectations for the continuity of discharge planning. Conclusions:  The findings indicate that there are still significant disparities in the way that discharge planning for patients with mental illness is implemented in different mental health service settings. These study findings are intended to serve as a further source of information to develop a discharge planning system that integrates patients with mental illnesses from the hospital into the community.

Abstract

The current phenomenon of narcotics and dangerous substance abuse (hereinafter referred to as drugs) is increasingly worrying, which is reflected in the increasing number of narcotics prisoners. Prisoner life requires family support, self-resilience and coping strategies to grow motivation to recover from narcotics abuse. This research aims to analyze the role of family support, coping strategies, resilience with recovery motivation in prisoners who are drug rehabilitation. The research method used is a systematic review through searching for articles adapted to the formulation of research questions using the PICO formula in the ProQuest, Sage Journal, ScienceDirect, Scopus and google scholar databases. The articles reviewed with the inclusion criteria and the articles were published between 2016 and 2023. The search results found 13 articles with research show that there is a significant relationship between family support, coping strategies, resilience and recovery motivation in prisoners who are drug rehabilitation. In conclusion, the recovery motivation from prisoners who are drug rehabilitation is influenced by family support, coping strategies and resilience.
