Abstract

This study aims to provide a monitoring strategy, especially in the field of preventing fraud in life insurance companies in Indonesia. The form of this research is qualitative and follows a normative approach by reviewing the duties, objectives, and authorities of the Financial Services Authority to prevent fraud in life insurance companies. The object of this research is a life insurance company that has been declared bankrupt by the Financial Services Authority, namely PT. Bumi Asih Jaya Life Insurance. The results of this study provide an overview of fraud prevention strategies at life insurance companies in the form of emphasis on supervision through the audit function, especially in the field of direct examination of reports made by life insurance companies and then matched with documents owned by insurance. Supervision must be carried out regularly and consistently.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of compensation and competence on employee performance at the Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Office of Takalar Regency. This type of research is explanatory quantitative, with the sampling technique being a saturated sample where all the population is sampled. The sample size in this study was 43 respondents. The data analysis methods used are multiple regression, correlation coefficient, coefficient of determination, t test, and f test. The results of this study indicate that compensation and competence partially and simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on employee performance at the Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Office of Takalar Regency.

Abstract

The need for a Petshop business in Makassar City is needed along with the increasing love of people for pets so that a marketing strategy is needed in marketing services for the products they sell. The population of this study was service users (3) three petshops in Makassar City, while the determination of this sample used the Probability Sampling Technique which amounted to 69 people in a random way without paying attention to the level that existed in the population members. Data collection techniques used are observation, questionnaires and direct interviews to parties related to the problem under study. The data were analyzed using multiple lenear regression analysis techniques, t-test, f-test and coefficient of determination with the help of SPSS 23 program.The results showed that (i) direct marketing communication did not have an effect on customer satisfaction, (ii) service quality directly affected and significantly affected customer satisfaction, (iii) simultaneously communication and service quality had a positive effect on customer satisfaction. Based on the coefficient of determination obtained from the results of data analysis, it is known that marketing communication and service quality have an influence of 61.6% on customer satisfaction of Petshop business in Makassar.

Abstract

In the process of teaching entrepreneurship education, appropriate pedagogy is needed in realizing a curriculum that is contextual and relevant to the development of information technology and the need for the job market. This research aims to provide a comprehensive overview of entrepreneurship education with effective teaching methods by synthesizing existing research findings. This research method uses a systematic literature review approach to synthesize various academic database literature sourced from Scopus or Web of Science with keywords such as "entrepreneurship education" and "pedagogy", and interviews with teachers of entrepreneurship education courses in Indonesia. The results of the study show that the project-based learning method is very effective in the entrepreneurship education curriculum that follows the development of digital technology and the need for the job market.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of organizational culture and job satisfaction on the performance of employees of the Mamasa Regency Food Security Office, West Sulawesi. The type of research approach used in this study is quantitative research, namely research where data collection is in the form of numbers and analysis using statistics. The population in this study is State Civil Apparatus Employees at the Mamasa Regency Food Security Office, the analysis methods used are multiple regression analysis, t-test analysis, f-test analysis, correlation analysis and determination analysis. The results of the study showed that (i) organizational culture partially had a positive and significant effect on employee performance, (ii) job satisfaction partially had a positive and significant effect on employee performance, and (iii) organizational culture and job satisfaction simultaneously affected employee performance in employees of the Mamasa Regency Food Security Office.
