Abstract

Penelitian R&D (Research and Develompment) ini dilatarbelakangi oleh belum optimalnya proses pembelajaran daring pada mata kuliah aplikasi matematika komputer, yaitu terbatasnya media pembelajaran yang menarik, perangkat laptop tidak mendukung aplikasi, dan sinyal internet yang tidak stabil. Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk mengembangkan media video motion graphic yang valid dan praktis. Pengembangan produk menggunakan model ADDIE, yang memiliki lima tahapan: Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, dan Evaluate. Penelitian dilakukan di jurusan Pendidikan Matematika UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta dengan subjek penelitian adalah 3 ahli materi, 3 ahli media, dan 84 mahasiswa. Teknik angket digunakan untuk memperoleh data berupa angket validasi ahli dan validasi pengguna. Berdasarkan validasi ahli media dan ahli materi, diperoleh hasil penelitian bahwa media motion graphic yang dihasilkan memenuhi kriteria kelayakan. Pada hasil uji coba terbatas diperoleh kategori sangat layak dengan persentase sebesar 80,22% serta hasil uji coba lapangan diperoleh kategori respon positif mahasiswa sangat layak dengan persentase sebesar 80,03%. Oleh karena itu, produk akhir media motion graphic memenuhi kategori valid dan praktis untuk diterapkan dalam perkuliahan aplikasi matematika komputer.This R&D research (Research and Development) was motivated by the less than optimal online learning experience in computer mathematics application courses, namely the lack of interesting learning resources, the incapability of laptops to run applications, and the unstable internet signals. This research is intended to develop valid and practical motion graphic video media. Product development uses the ADDIE model, which has five stages: Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate. The research was conducted in the Department of Mathematics Education at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta with 3 subject matter experts, 3 media experts, and 84 students as subjects. Questionnaire techniques are used to obtain data in the form of expert validation questionnaires and user validation. Based on the validation of media experts and material experts, it was found that the resulting motion graphic media met the eligibility criteria. In the limited trial results, the very feasible category was obtained with a percentage of 80.22%, and the field trial results were obtained in the very feasible category of positive student responses with a percentage of 80.03%. Therefore, the final product of motion graphic media meets the valid and practical criteria to be applied in lectures on computer mathematics applications.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat merupakan salah satu tridharma perguruan tinggi. Prodi pendidikan matematika UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta melak­sanakan pengabdian Tahun 2022 di Desa Pulosari Kabupaten Pandeglang Banten dengan tujuan: (1) memberikan pendampingan kepada guru-guru MI tentang pendekatan pembelajaran matematika yang mendukung pada kurikulum merdeka belajar (2) memberikan pelatihan tentang literasi matematika bagi guru MI, (3) memberikan pendampingan kepada siswa dalam belajar matematika yang mudah dan menyenangkan. Metode yang digunakan yaitu pendekatan partisipatif, dimana dosen dan mahasiswa ter­libat langsung dalam memberikan layanan masyarakat. Pengabdian dilaksa­nakan pada bulan Agustus tahun 2022 dengan melibatkan 60 mahasiswa, 9 dosen, 57 guru MI yang berasal dari 19 MI dan siswa-siswi sebanyak 22 kelas. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa 1) Mahasiswa memiliki pengalaman langsung dalam mengimplementasikan strategi pembelajaran di kelas; 2) Siswa merasa terbantu dalam belajar matematika, mereka lebih interaktif belajar, siswa juga merasakan bahwa matematika itu tidak sulit; 3) Sebagian besar guru MI di kecamatan Pulosari belum memahami tentang implementasi pendekatan problem based learning dan project based learning; 4) Sebagian besar guru MI di kecamatan Pulosari masih mengalami kesulitan dalam membuat soal HOTS, 5) sebagian guru tidak dapat menyelesaikan soal literasi; dan 5) guru memberikan respon positif terhadap pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian.

Abstract

Mathematical abilities that students must possess at the level of primary and secondary education must also be possessed by a student of teacher candidates who will teach mathematics. One of the abilities is an analogical reasoning ability. The main objectives of this research are: 1) To describe and analyze analogical reasoning ability of students of mathematics education at the State Islamic Universities (UIN) in Indonesia, 2) To know the differences of analogical reasoning abilities of students of mathematics education at several State Islamic Universities (UIN) in Indonesia. The study was conducted at 6 UINs in Indonesia with a sample of 203 5th semester students using a survey method. This study's results indicate: 1) Analogical reasoning ability in Mathematics Education students consisting of 6 UINs in Indonesia can be seen from the average value in each sample. The acquisition of the average value of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta students' analogical reasoning ability is the highest compared to the other 5 UINs with an average mathematical reasoning ability value of 65. 2. There is a difference in mathematics education students' analogical reasoning ability at the State Islamic Universities (UIN) in Indonesia.

Abstract

Leadership is an important topic in the world of scholarly research because of the significant role of leadership and very determinant for the success of higher learning institutions. This study aims to examine a problem faced by the Institute of Catholic Pastoral Ministry (STPK-IPI, Sekolah Tinggi Pastoral Katolik – Institut Pastoral Indonesia)in Malang. This research was carried out at the STPK-IPI Malang known as the first institution of this kind. It has become the parent-institution of twenty-three STPKs under a guidance of Indonesian government through the Directorate General of Catholic Community Guidance of the Department of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia. Despite its age and parent-like status, STPK-IPI Malang has failed to play a role model for other Catholic high learning institutions in Indonesia. . This study used a convergent parallel mixed-method design. It combined qualitative and quantitative research methods by mixing the two methods proporsionarlly. This study uses primary and secondary data. Primary data were obtained through questionnaires, direct observations, FGDs and in-depth interviews. Respondents include STPK leaders, directors of education, permanent lecturers, foundations, students and bishop of Malang. Secondary data were taken from previous studies, documents and online news. Statistical data processing using SPSS software, qualitative data were analyzed through the restatement, description and interpretation stages. This research found that the main difficulty of this high learning institution was the crisis of human resources. In particular, the quality of its leadership is poor. There are three elements of leadership: the Catholic Community Guidance that gives the license-coach, the Head of the STPK and the Foundation. These three elements have not functioned optimally, and there is no grand design for institutional development. As a result, the management and quality of STPK education is poor. This is shown by the acquisition of C accreditation, minimal publications, limited human resources and not being able to compete with other high learning institutions. This study recommends a transformation of leadership so that this Catholic high learning institution may slowly improve its performance and significantly develop into a competitive high learning catholic institution.

Abstract

Hasil belajar matematika menilai kinerja kelas. Media kelas dapat mempengaruhi hasil belajar apabila dapat menarik perhatian siswa dan menjadikan materi mudah dipahami. Namun data di lapangan menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar siswa khususnya pada materi fungsi komposisi masih perlu ditingkatkan. Penggunaan media pembelajaran membuat membantu siswa meningkatkan pembelajaran menjadi lebih mudah. Media dapat meningkatkan pembelajaran siswa. Media kartu dapat digunakan untuk pendidikan. Media pembelajaran kartu digunakan untuk meningkatkan pembelajaran matematika pada penelitian ini. Penelitian ini menggunakan Media Systematic Literature Review (SLRM). SLRM melibatkan peninjauan artikel Garuda, Google Cendekia, Scopus, dan Web of Science menggunakan alat Harzing's Publish or Perish. Ulasan mencakup 6 buah. Pencarian artikel tahun 2013 sampai 2023 dengan menggunakan media kartu dan hasil pembelajaran. Penelitian ini meliputi perencanaan, peninjauan, dan pendokumentasian. Analisis data meliputi pengelompokan, analisis, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Penelitian terdahulu meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar matematika siswa dengan menggunakan PTK, model, dan teknik. Menurut penelitian ini, media kartu dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada berbagai sumber matematika, tingkat pendidikan, dan gaya belajar

Abstract

Online learning policies serving as the answer to the world of education during the COVID-19 pandemic period raise some problems to students. They find it difficult to understand learning materials because the teacher's explanation is very limited, so many tasks and teachers cannot supervise the students. As a result, students are quickly getting bored with learning activities at home, they cannot directly meet their classmates; and this condition is getting worse due to the fact that their homes are less supportive to their learning activities. This research is aimed at studying the State Madrasah Tsanawiyah Students’ experiences during the Covid-19 pandemic era from March to July 2020. A descriptive qualitative analysis method was employed. The primary data were obtained from the results of observations and open questionnnaires sent to 42 the madrasah tsanawiyah students from Sidoarjo, Malang, Yogyakarta, Jakarta, Aceh, and Padang Panjang. The secondary data were taken from online news about the distance learning. It was found that the distance learning for madrasah tsanawiyah students was troublesome experiences due to inadequate facility and infrastructures in the internet quota, smart phones, laptops, and also unsupporting home environment and improper the teaching techniques. However, some students were happy with this distance learning because it may give them new experiences, learning with a laptop or a mobile phone is exciting, it may improve the literacy in technology, it is flexible in terms of time, and it is not necessary for them to go to schools. It is recommended that the government improve the quality of the internet services, give more internet assistance quota, and hold training for the teachers on online learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh model SSCS terhadap kemampuan berpikir komputasi matematis berdasarkan self efficacy. Desain yang digunakan quasi eksperimen dengan rancangan factorial design 2x2. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes dan angket. Analisis data dengan ANOVA dua jalan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kemampuan berpikir komputasi matematis kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi daripada kelas kontrol, kemampuan berpikir komputasi matematis dengan self efficacy tinggi lebih tinggi daripada siswa dengan self efficacy rendah, tidak terdapat interaksi antara model SSCS dan self efficacy terhadap kemampuan berpikir komputasi matematis. Model SSCS memiliki pengaruh yang tergolong sedang terhadap kemampuan berpikir komputasi matematis berdasarkan self efficacy. This research aims to analyze the influence of the SSCS model on mathematical computational thinking abilities based on self-efficacy. The design used was quasi-experimental with a 2x2 factorial design. Data was collected through tests and questionnaires. Data analysis with two-way ANOVA. The results showed that the mathematical computational thinking ability of the experimental class was higher than the control class, the mathematical computational thinking ability with high self-efficacy was higher than students with low self-efficacy, and there was no interaction between the SSCS model and self-efficacy in mathematical computational thinking ability. The SSCS model has a moderate influence on mathematical computational thinking abilities based on self-efficacy.

Abstract

AbstractOne type of skill that students must have in order to compete in progress is computational thinking. This research aims to analyze students' computational thinking abilities on SPLTV material, self-regulated learning students, and computational thinking abilities in view self-regulated learning. This method used was survey research. The sample was taken using simple random sampling technique with a total of 112 students at one of the high schools in Depok in the academic year 2023/2024. The instrument used consisted of a test instrument of 12 description questions to measure students computational thinking ability. In addition, self-regulated learning questionnaire consisting of 17 statements and a semi-structured interview consisting of 5 questions. The two instruments used have been tested for validation and reliability. The research showed that students' mathematical computational thinking ability in solving contextual problems was in the low category, self-regulated learning students is in the high category. Between self-regulated learning has no relationship or influence on students' mathematical computational thinking ability in solving contextual problems.AbstrakSalah satu jenis keterampilan yang harus dimiliki siswa agar dapat bersaing dalam kemajuan salah satunya dengan kemampuan berpikir komputasional. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kemampuan berpikir komputasi siswa pada materi SPLTV, kemandirian belajar yang dimiliki siswa, serta kemampuan berpikir komputasional ditinjau dari kemandirian belajar. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian survei. Sampel diambil dengan teknik simple random sampling dengan jumlah sebanyak 112 siswa di salah satu SMA di Depok tahun ajaran 2023/2024. Instrumen yang digunakan terdiri dari instrument tes sebanyak 12 butir soal uraian untuk mengukur kemampuan berpikir komputasional siswa. Selain itu, angket kemandirian belajar yang terdiri dari 17 pernyataan serta wawancara semi-terstruktur yang terdiri dari 5 pertanyaan. Kedua intrumen yang digunakan sudah diuji validasitas dan reliabilitasnya. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan kemampuan berpikir komputasional matematis siswa dalam menyelesaikan masalah kontekstual berada pada kategori rendah, kemandirian belajar siswa berada pada kategori tinggi. Antara kemandirian belajar tidak memiliki hubungan atau pengaruh terhadap kemampuan berpikir komputasional matematis siswa dalam menyelesaikan masalah kontekstual.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to analyze the availability of professional teachers in public madrasahs using a descriptive analysis survey method. Respondents were 1116 state madrasah teachers (MIN, MTsN, and MAN) in DKI Jakarta. Teacher profile data obtained from Simpatika. Teacher competency data was obtained through a questionnaire in the Google form in 2021. The results showed that there was a quite significant shortage of educators in MIN of Arabic 46%; Art 45%; and Sports 53%. The class teacher has an excess of 17%. For MTsN and MAN, there are significant deficiencies in the subjects of PKN, Indonesian, Cultural Arts, Sports, and Craft-Entrepreneurship. This study recommends that the Central Ministry of Religion recruit civil servant teachers in all subjects that experience shortages. This study has implications for the management of teacher governance in madrasas, it is necessary to pay attention to the adequacy of teachers for each eye. For the Ministry of Religion as a policy maker to pay serious attention to meeting the needs of teachers in every madrasah. For higher education institutions, it is necessary to open several departments which are currently quite limited in the availability of teachers such as teachers of arts, sports, and counseling guidance.AbstrakStudi ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis ketersediaan guru profesional di madrasah negeri dengan menggunakan metode survei teknik analisis deskriptif. Responden merupakan 1116 guru madrasah negeri (MIN, MTsN dan MAN) di DKI Jakarta. Data profil guru diperoleh dari Simpatika. Data kompetensi guru diperoleh melalui angket dalam google form tahun 2021. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat kekurangan tenaga pendidik yang cukup signifikan di MIN sebesar: Bahasa Arab 46%; Seni 45%; dan Olahraga 53% sedang untuk guru kelas mengalami kelebihan sebesar 17%. Untuk satuan pendidikan MTsN dan MAN terdapat kekurangan guru yang cukup signifikan pada mata pelajaran PKN, Bahasa Indonesia, Seni Budaya, Olahraga dan Prakarya-Kewirausahaan. Studi ini merekomendasikan agar Kementerian Agama Pusat melakukan penerimaan guru PNS pada semua mata pelajaran yang mengalami kekurangan. Studi ini berimplikasi terhadap manajemen tata kelola guru di madrasah perlu memperhatikan ketercukupan guru untuk setiap mata. Untuk kementrian agama sebagai pembuat kebijakan agar memberi perhatian serius terhadap pemenuhan kebutuhan guru disetiap madrasah.  Untuk lembaga pendidikan tinggi perlu membuka beberapa jurusan yang saat ini cukup terbatas ketersediaan guru seperti guru seni, olah raga dan bimbingan konseling.How to Cite: Fatra, M., Sihombing, A.A. Abstract

Terbatasnya bahan ajar matematika berbasis budaya menjadi sebuah persoalan dalam pembelajaran berbasis etnomatematika. Untuk itu penelitian ini berusaha mengembangkan bahan ajar berbasis budaya pekalongan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis kualitas dari bahan ajar digital pada materi bentuk aljabar kelas VII SMP/MTs dengan menggunakan konteks budaya Pekalongan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan model ADDIE yang terdiri dari lima tahapan, yaitu Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation. Instrumen yang digunakan pada penelitian ini berupa angket, yang terdiri dari angket validasi bahan ajar dan angket respon siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan sudah divalidasi secara konten. Bahan ajar yang dikembangkan telah divalidasi oleh 3 orang ahli dan 5 orang praktisi. Bahan ajar ini juga diujicoba kepada 32 orang siswa di salah satu SMP Kabupaten Pekalongan. Bahan ajar yang dihasilkan berupa bahan ajar digital dalam bentuk flipbook. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bahan ajar yang dikembangkan dinyatakan valid, praktis, dan efektif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa bahan ajar memenuhi kriteria sangat valid dengan rata-rata 84%, aspek kepraktisan 85% (sangat praktis). Bahan ajar efektif sebagai alat bantu guru dalam pembelajaran matematika yang ditandai dengan tigkat ketuntasan belajar siswa sebesar 84.38%.
