Abstract

The objective of this study was to determine the effect of the attitude component on employee commitment. The researcher's approach uses a survey approach conducted on employees of microfinance institutions in the city of Bandung. Respondents who were willing to fill out the research questionnaire were 78 employees. Researchers used path analysis to determine the magnitude of the influence of the attitude component on employee work commitment to answer the problem formulation. The results of the study indicate that the attitude component has a significant effect on work commitment. Therefore, the study results recommend the relevant parties to improve employee work attitudes so that work commitment can achieve optimally. Keywords : Attitude, Organizational commitment, Employee.

Abstract

This research conducted with the aim to determine the effect of work climate and work discipline on employee performance and this study also aims to analyze the most dominant factors of influence between work climate and work discipline on employee performance. The object of his research was that 87 employees used a questionnaire aimed at employees registered at one of the 3-star hotels in the city of Bandung. Based on research using path analysis, it can be seen that the working climate variable (X₁) has a direct influence of 24.1%, indirect influence through relations with work discipline (X₂) of 14.3%, the total effect of 38.4%. Work discipline variables (X₂) have a direct influence of 15.3%, and indirect effects through work motivation (X₁) are 14.3%, the total effect is 29.6%. The results of the correlation coefficient of determination (R squared) expressed in percentages illustrate the contribution of all independent variables namely work motivation (X₁) and work discipline (X₂) in determining the performance variable is 0.679 or 67.9% while other factors that affect performance not examined indicated by the value of 0.321 or 32.1%. The conclusions of the suggestions that can be considered in connection with the results of the study are that management should be able to maintain and improve the two variables above. Keywords: Work Climate, Work Discipline, Employee PerformanceDOI:10.5281/zenodo.3232926

Abstract

The state civil apparatus is an essential component in government organizations. This component greatly determines the level of success of the implementation of government functions in achieving its goals. For this reason, it is necessary to study employee performance, which is suspected to be influenced by competence, work culture, and work facilities at one of the regional government offices in West Bandung Regency. This study uses a quantitative approach by using primary data in conducting data analysis. A total of 71 respondents participated in this study. It is using path analysis techniques in analyzing data. The results showed that competence, work culture, and work facilities had a significant effect both partially and simultaneously. The research implication contributes to the development of competence, work culture, and work facilities by providing training in the use of technology and complying with the rules that apply to the organization. Keywords: Competence, Work Culture, Work Facilities, Employee Performance.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis adaptasi sosial mahasiswa program ADik Papua di lingkungan sosial di kampus Universitas Halu Oleo terhadap proses adaptasi sosial mahasiswa program Adik Papua di  Univeritas Halu Oleo dengan warga masyarakat umum di lingkungan tempat tinggal mereka. Penelitian ini mengunakan pendekatan deskriftif kualitatif. Informan penelitian berjumlah 22 orang yang meliputi mahasiswa Program Beasiswa Afirmasi Pendidikan Tinggi ADik Papua berjumlah 17 orang, mahasiswa non Papua Berjumlah 5 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, wawancara mendalam (indepth interview) dan dokumentasi, analisa data melalui langkah-langkah reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proses adaptasi sosial mahasiswa program ADik Papua di lingkungan kampus Universitas Halu Oleo yaitu: pertama, adanya interaksi sosial melalui komunikasi, Kedua, adanya kerjasama melalau kepetingan bersama,Ketiga, adanya akomodasi dengan baik dengan cara menghargai pendapat orang lain.Kata Kunci: Adaptasi Sosial, Program ADik Papua, stereotipe etnik

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Diet yang tidak sehat, gaya hidup yang tidak sehat, kebiasaan yang salah, polusi lingkungan, radiasi, sinar ultraviolet (UV)UV, asap rokok, dan stress merupakan sumber radikal bebas. Buah delima merah (Punica granatum L.) adalah salah satu sumber antioksidan polifenol, khususnya punikalagin (elagitanin) yang telah dibuktikan memiliki aktivitas antioksidan yang kuat, antiinflamasi, dan antikarsinogenik pada beberapa penelitian. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan pengolahan kulit delima merah menjadi teh sebagai antioksidan. Dalam Al-Quran, buah delima merah disebut beberapa kali sebagai bentuk nikmat dari Allah SWT untuk menjaga kesehatan karena manfaatnya yang banyak.Tujuan: Mengetahui aktivitas antioksidan pada seduhan teh dari kulit delima merah yang diujikan dengan metode DPPH dan mengetahui tinjaunnya menurut pandangan Islam. Metode: Kulit delima merah dikeringkan, kemudian dipotong kecil-kecil, dan digerus dengan menggunakan blender agar mendapatkan bubuk kulit delima merah. Sebagian bubuk kulit delima merah yang telah diperoleh diseduh dengan air mendidih 100° C. Sisa bubuk kulit delima merah dimaserasi dengan etanol 70% kemudian disaring dan filtratnya dipekatkan menggunakan vacuum rotary evaporator sehinga didapatkan ekstrak kental. Masing-masing sampel diukur aktivitas antioksidannya metode DPPH.Hasil: Aktivitas antioksidan dinyatakan dengan nilai IC50. Nilai IC50seduhan teh dari kulit delima merah adalah 17,59 ppm, ekstrak etanol kulit delima merah 9,58 ppm, dan asam askorbat 2,98 ppm.Kesimpulan: Seduhan teh dari kulit delima merah dan ekstrak kulit delima merah mempunyai aktivitas antioksidan yang sangat kuat. Ekstrak kulit delima merah memiliki aktivitas antioksidan yang lebih tinggi dari seduhan teh dari kulit delima merah. Penelitian ini sejalan dengan perintah Allah SWT untuk memanfaatkan seluruh kekayaan alam dalam hal kebaikan seperti menjaga kesehatan tubuh agar dapat menjalankan kewajiban keagamaan.

Abstract

Arsitektur vernakular adalah arsitektur tanpa arsitek. Arsiteknya adalah khalayak biasa yang tidak memiliki pendidikan formal seperti tukang bangunan. Keangkuhan dan keegoisan akademis seorang arsitek terdidik yang sering dianggap modern dan tidak mau berdialog dengan masyarakat luas (tukang bangunan) akan membuat perkembangan arsitektur mandeg. Penelitian ini ditujukan untuk mengkaji koeksistensi pandangan arsitek terdidik dan tukang bangunan mengenai pondasi.Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan kausal komparatif mengenai pondasi terhadap pengetahuan tukang bangunan dan arsitek terdidik.Penelitian ini disimpulkan bahwa ada koeksistensi pandangan arsitek terdidik dan tukang bangunan mengenai pondasi.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence leadership, organizational structure, organizational culture and performance and public services, and the influence of leadership, organizational structure, organizational culture, also the effect of performance on public services. The method used is descriptive and verification with simple technique by using proportional random sampling on 350 respondent. The data was analyzed using Path analysis techniques (Path Analysis). The results indicate that: leadership was pretty good, organizational structure was good enough, organizational culture was quite good, performance was well enough, public services good enough either there was different significan either partially or simultaneously from the variable of leadership, organizational structure, organizational culture and performance, there was a strong influence of performance on public services.

Abstract

Numerous problem occurs due to many complaints from the public regarding the services in the "public services sector," especially services that deal directly with the community. This condition is allegedly due to poor employee performance. This study tries to determine the effect of transformational leadership on intrinsic motivation and work commitment and its impact on employee performance. This research carries out a survey of employees in an agency in West Bandung Regency to address the problems. Furthermore, this study uses the path analysis approach with SPSS. The results show that there is an influence of transformational leadership on intrinsic motivation and work commitment and its impact on employee performance.

Abstract

Find out the performance of employees, and it is necessary to measure or evaluate performance criteria. One assessment of employee work is job satisfaction determined by job rotation. Based on the phenomenon in the field, this study aims to assess the effect of job rotation on job satisfaction. This study uses a survey approach to employees. Structural analysis of equation modeling used to analyze data. The results of the survey prove that job rotation, which consists of additional employee capabilities, other employee knowledge, and overcoming employee saturation levels, affects job satisfaction.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the performance of the intersection of Jalan A. Yani - Jalan Baco, Tabalong Regency with the direct observation method in the field and data analysis following the standard guidelines of the Indonesian Road Capacity Manual (MKJI) method and assisted by the KAJI software. From the analysis and calculation results, the current data for the peak hour that occurs is 17.20-18.20. The results obtained from the existing conditions of the intersection include Degree of Saturation (DS) = 0.525, Intersection Delay (D) = 9.28, and Queuing Opportunity (Qp) = 19%, with service level of B (still meeting applicable requirements). Then forecasting is done so that the 5-year intersection does not meet the requirements with DS = 0.853, D = 14.19, and Qp = 44%. The alternative solution used for the next 5 years is to change the unsignalized intersection to a 3-phase signalized intersection (with widening) which is seen from the average delay of the intersection of 20.95 seconds/pcu, the degree of saturation is 0.
