Abstract

This research aimed to describe the Problem Solving learning model that are effective in improving the classification skills and comunication skills on electrolyte and non-electrolyte and reduction oxidation react material. The sampling technique used purposive sampling technique. This research use a quasi-experimental methods with Non Equivalent (Pretest and Posttest) Control Group Design. The sample in this research is students of  State Madrasah Aliyah 1 Bandar Lampung and obtained X.6 and X.7 class at school year 2012-2013 which has almost the same characteristics. The effectiveness of Problem solving learning model measured on the difference and the improvement of a significant gain. The results showed the average value of n-Gain classification skills for control class and experiment class are 0.51 and 0.44, and the average value of n-Gain comunication skills for control class and experiment class are 0.66 and 0.60. Based on the test of the hypothesis, it is known that a class with Problem solving learning model has classification skills and comunicatin skills higher than conventional class learning. This showed that the Problem solving learning was effective in improving the classification skills and comunication skills.Proses pembelajaran sangat dipengaruhi oleh ketepatan guru dalam memilih dan menerapkan model pembelajaran.  Model yang dapat diterapkan untuk meningkat­kan keterampilan mengelompokkan dan mengkomunikasikan adalah model pembe­lajaran problem solving.  Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan efektivitas pembelajaran model problem solving dalam meningkatkan keterampilan menge­lompokkan dan mengkomunikasikan pada materi pokok larutan elektrolit dan non-elektrolit serta redoks.Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa MAN 1 Bandar Lampung tahun pelajaran 2012/2013 kelas X6 dan kelas X7.  Sampel diambil menggunakan teknik purposive sampling.  Penelitian ini menggunakan metode quasi eksperimen dengan Non Equivalent Control Group Design.  Efektivitas model pembelajaran problem solving diukur berdasarkan peningkatan gain yang signifikan.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai rerata n-Gain keterampilan mengelompokkan kelas kontrol dan eksperimen masing-masing 0,441 dan 0,60 dan rerata n-Gain keterampilan meng-komunikasikan kelas kontrol dan eksperimen masing-masing 0,51 dan 0,66. Berdasarkan uji hipotesis, diketahui bahwa kelas dengan pembelajaran problem solving memiliki keterampilan mengelompokkan dan mengkomunikasikan yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas pembelajaran konvensional.  Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran problem solving lebih efektif dalam meningkatkan keteram­pilan mengelompokkan dan mengkomunikasikan siswa.Kata kunci : Pembelajaran problem solving, keterampilan mengelompokkan, keterampilan mengkomunikasikan.

Abstract

This aimed of research was to describe the effectiveness of learning cycle 6E model to improve predicting skills and mastery of concept koloid.  Quasi experimental method was used in this research, with Non-Equivalent Control Group Design.  The population of this research was students of XI science SMA YP Unila Bandar Lampung, with XI science 2 class and XI science 4 class as samples.  The effectiveness of learning cycle 6E model was measured based on the difference of a significant N-gain and t test.  The results show that mean value of N-gain prediction skills in control class and experimental class were 0.56 and 0.65; and mean value of N-gain mastery of concept in control class and experimental class were 0.58 and 0.73.  Based on t test, it was concluded that learning cycle 6E model could increase prediction skills and mastery of concept koloid.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan efektivitas model learning cycle 6E dalam meningkatkan keterampilan prediksi dan penguasaan konsep koloid.  Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuasi eksperimen dengan Non-Equivalent Control Group Design.  Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPA SMA YP Unila Bandar Lampung dengan kelas XI IPA2 dan kelas XI IPA4 sebagai sampel.  Efektivitas model learning cycle 6E diukur berdasarkan perbedaan N-gain yang signifikan dan uji t.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai rata-rata N-gain keterampilan prediksi untuk kelas kontrol dan eksperimen yaitu 0,56 dan 0,65; serta rata-rata N-gain penguasaan konsep untuk kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen yaitu 0,58 dan 0,73.  Berdasarkan uji t, didapat kesimpulan bahwa model learning cycle 6E dapat meningkatkan keterampilan prediksi dan penguasaan konsep koloid.Kata kunci: keterampilan prediksi, model learning cycle 6E, penguasaan konsep.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the effectiveness of problem solving students worksheet to improve students classifying skill on acid-base topic. The research samples were students of class 11thscience 1 and 11thscience 4 in public senior high school 13 Bandarlampung on academic year 2016/2017 which were sampled by purposive sampling technique. The research used quasi experimental method with non equivalent pretest-postest control group design. The effectiveness of problem solving students worksheet was indicated by the significant difference of n-gain between control and experimental class. The result showed that of n-gain average in classifying skill was 0,55 for control class and 0,83 for experimental class. Based on the t-test result, it found that the average score of n-gain for experimental class was significantly different in the control class. This research concluded that problem solving students worksheet was effective to improve classifiying skill on acid-base topic.Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan efektivitas LKSproblem solving dalam meningkatkan keterampilan mengklasifikasi pada materi asam-basa. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPA 1 dan XI IPA 4 di SMAN 13 Bandarlampung Tahun Pelajaran 2016/2017 yang diperoleh dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata n-gain keterampilan mengklasifikasi pada kelas kontrol sebesar 0,55 dan kelas eksperimen sebesar 0,83. Berdasarkan uji-t nilai rata-rata n-gain kedua kelas penelitian berbeda secara signifikan. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah LKS problem solving efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan mengklasifikasi pada materi asam basa.Kata kunci: asam-basa, keterampilan mengklasifikasi, problem solving

Abstract

This research aimed to develop animation media about the solvent based on the value of divinity and environmental awareness material.  This research method was Research and Development, which consists of three steps: 1) preliminary studies, 2) product development and 3) describe the responses of the teachers and students towards the product.  From the teachers responses, the developed animation media has very high content suitability aspect that is 92,20%.  From the students responses, the developed animation media has very high readability and interested of the design aspect that is 80,25%.  From the responses obtained, so it can be concluded that the developed animation media has very well criteria. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media animasi materi sifat larutan berbasis nilai ketuhanan dan kecintaan terhadap lingkungan.  Metode penelitian ini adalah Penelitian dan Pengembangan, yang terdiri dari tiga tahap: 1) studi pendahuluan, 2) pengembangan produk dan 3) mendeskripsikan tanggapan guru dan siswa terhadap produk.  Tanggapan guru, media animasi yang dikembangkan memiliki aspek kesesuaian isi yang sangat tinggi yaitu 80,25%.  Dari tanggapan yang diperoleh, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa media animasi yang dikembangkan ini memiliki kriteria sangat baik.                                                                                                      Kata kunci:cinta lingkungan, media animasi, nilai ketuhanan, sifat larutan

Abstract

This study was aimed to develop the performance assesment instrument on the practice of electrolyte and non-electrolyte solution, to describe the characteristics in terms of legibility, construction,  implementation of product, and to describe the teachers responses on the performance of developed. The design of this research was Research and Development (RD). The result of expert validation toward assessment instrument showed the level readable realibility, construction, and implementation of the performance assesment instrument equal to 91,11%, 84%, and 100%; respectively. The teachers gave very good responses to the legibility content, construction, and implementation of the performance assesment instrument with percentage were 96,67%, 96%, and 96,67% respectively.  The conclusion obtained from this research is the performance of developed were excellent.Keywords: assessment performance instrument on experiment, electrolyte solution   development Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan instrumen asesmen kinerja praktikum larutan elektrolit dan non elektrolit, mendeskripsikan karakteristiknya dari segi keterbacaan, konstruksi dan keterpakaian produk, serta mendeskripsikan tanggapan guru kimia terhadap instrumen yang dikembangkan. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (RD). Hasil validasi ahli terhadap instrumen asesmen kinerja yang dikembangkan menunjukkan aspek keterbacaan 91,11%; aspek konstruksi 84%; dan aspek keterpa­kaian 100 %; yang termasuk dalam kategori sangat tinggi. Guru juga telah memberikan tanggapan dengan sangat baik terhadap aspek keterbacaan, konstruksi dan keterpakaian produk dengan persentase masing-masing 96,67%, 96%, dan 96,67%.   Kesimpulan yang diperoleh pada penelitian ini yaitu instrumen ases­­men kinerja praktikum yang dikembang­kan memiliki kriteria sangat baik.Kata kunci: instrumen asesmen kinerja praktikum, larutan elektrolit, pengembangan

Abstract

This research is purposed to describe the effectiveness of  SBEI model  to improve student’s skill in inducting and considering induction result. This research population is all students of XI Science SMA Negeri 3 Kotabumi. This research uses experiment quasi method with Non Equivalent (Pretes and Posttest) Control Group Design. The sample is taken by purposive sampling technique and used XI Science 2 as experiment class and XI Science 3 as control class. The effectiveness of SBEI model is measured based on improvement of n-Gain score which is significant between control class and experiment class. The result of research shows that the average of n-Gain score student’s skill in inducting and considering induction result to control class and experiment class is 0,38 and 0,61. Based on hypotesis test, it is known that experiment class with SBEI model has inducting and considering induction result skill which is higher than control class with conventional learning. This result shows that SBEI model is more effective to improve student’s skill in inducting and considering induction result.Keywords : SBEI model, student’s skill in inducting and considering induction result

Abstract

The objective of this research is to describe the learning model of SSCS that effective to improve the students’ ability in answering question, consider the definition and define the problem.  This research used quasi experiment method with Nonequivalent Control Group Design .  The Samples of this research were the second year students of MAN 1 Bandar Lampung in the even of academic year 2011-2012.  The research used two classes, XI IPA2 and X IPA3 which had the same characteristic.   The effectiveness of SSCS the learning model was measured by differences of significant n-gain.  The results of this research showed that the mean value of n-gain for students’ ability in answering question in control and experiment class were 0,19 and 0,54; the mean value of n-gain for students’  ability in consider the definition in control and experiment class were 0,30 and 0,32; and the mean value of  n-gain for students’ ability in define the problem in control and experiment class were -0,17 and 0,15.  Based on hypotesis test, it can be seen that the SSCS learning model is effective to improve the student’ ability in answering question and define the problem and ineffective to improve consider the definition.  Ineffective SSCS learning model in improving consider the definition skills because the teacher isn’t giving practice maximally these skills in the learning process. Abstract

This research aimed to describe the effectiveness of CORE learning model to improve the communicating  skilland mastery concept on solubility and solubility product constant.  The population were all students XI IPA in SMAN 8 Bandar Lampung 2012-2013 and class XI IPA1 and IPA3 as samples.  Purposive sampling were used as a method with quasi-experimental non equivalent control group design.  Effectiveness of  CORE learning model was measured by the N-gain  that significantly difference.  The results showed the N-gain  average of communicating skill for the experimental class and control were 0.62 and 0.46 and for mastery the concept  were 0.57 and 0.47.  Based on hypothesis test, both N-gain’s have t-test higher than t-table. therefore CORE learning model was effective in improving the communicating skill and mastery concept of solubility. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan efektivitas pembelajaran CORE untuk meningkatkan keterampilan mengkomunikasikan pada materi kelarutan dan hasil kali kelarutan.  Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri  8 Bandar Lampung tahun ajaran 2012-2013 dengan kelas XI IPA1 dan kelas XI IPA3 sebagai sampel.  Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuasi eksperimen dengan Non equivalent Control Group Design.  Efektivitas model pembelajaran CORE diukur berdasarkan perbedaan N-gain yang signifikan.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata  N-gain keterampilan mengkomunikasikan untuk kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol  yaitu 0.62 dan 0.46.  Sedangkan penguasaan konsep untuk kelas ekperimen dan kontrol yaitu 0.57 dan 0.47.  Berdasarkan uji t, kedua  N-gain memiliki t-hitung yang lebih tinggi dari t-tabel , model pembelajaran  CORE terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan mengkomunikasikan dan penguasaan konsep kelarutan dan hasil kali kelarutan.Kata kunci : CORE, keterampilan mengkomunikasikan, penguasaan konsep

Abstract

This research aimed to develop textbook on addictives and addictive-psychotropic material that have religious content and enviromental awareness; to describe the characteristics; to describe the teacher and student responses,and to describe the problems in developing the textbook.  This research method was research and development from Sugiyono (2008).  Based on teacher responses of  the developed textbook in the content’s suitability aspect was very high (84,44%), and the attractiveness aspect was very high (85%).  Based on student responses of  the developed textbook in the readable aspect was very high (87,85%).  Based on result, it can be concluded that textbook has very high quality which were attractive, appropriate with material, and readable. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan buku ajar zat aditif dan adiktif-psikotropika bermuatan nilai ketuhanan dan kecintaan terhadap lingkungan, mendeskripsikan karakteristik, mendeskripsikantanggapan guru dan siswa, serta mendeskripsikan kendala-kendala yang dihadapi dalam mengembangkan buku ajar.  Metode penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian dan pengembangan dari Sugiyono (2008).  Berdasarkan tanggapan guru terhadap buku ajar yang dikembangkan memiliki aspek kesesuaian isi sangat tinggi yaitu 84,44%, dan aspek kemenarikan sangat tinggi yaitu 85%.  Berdasarkan tanggapan siswa terhadap buku ajar yang dikembangkan memiliki aspek keterbacaan sangat tinggi yaitu 87,85%.  Berdasarkan tanggapan tersebut dapat disimpulkan buku ajar yang dikembangkan memiliki kualitas sangat tinggi yaitu menarik, sesuai dengan materi, dan terbaca dengan jelas. Kata kunci: buku ajar, nilai ketuhanan dan cinta lingkungan, zat aditif dan adiktif-psikotropika.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the effectiveness of the learning model LC 3E classification in improving the skills of students in the subject matter of hydrocarbon. Population in this research is all the students class X SMA N 7 Bandar Lampung of the academic year 2011-2012 were scattered in nine classes, X1 to X9. The sampling technique used purposive sampling. A method of this research is a quasi of his experiments with non equivalent control group design. The effectiveness of the learning model LC 3E measured by an increase in N-gain significant. Based on the hypothesis testing is done, it is known that the class learning model LC 3E classification skills of students is higher than conventional classroom learning. Where the average N-gain classification skills students  for the experimental class and the control class, respectively 0.504 and 0.382. This suggests that the learning model LC 3E is more effective in improving students skills in the classification of hydrocarbon material.Key words: learning model LC 3E, skill classification
