Abstract

This research is motivated by observations of students at SDN Tanjungrejo 2 Malang class 5B which are known that many students still get low learning outcomes with the KKTP stipulation of 80. The form of this research is classroom action research conducted at SDN Tanjungrejo 2 Malang in semester of the 2024/2025 academic year and takes from February to April 2025. The subjects of this study were 28 students of class 5B, consisting of 15 male and 13 female students. The purpose of this study is to improve the learning outcomes of IPAS in class 5B students of SDN Tanjungrejo 2 Malang by utilizing puzzle media based on the culturally responsive teaching approach. The results of the study show that using the culturally responsive teaching approach and puzzle media has been proven to significantly improve student learning outcomes and is effective of being recommended as an alternative to active and contextual learning at the elementary school level.

Abstract

Pembelajaran matematika di sekolah dasar masih didominasi oleh penggunaan media pembelajaran konvensional yang kurang interaktif dan cenderung membosankan, sehingga siswa mengalami kesulitan memahami konsep luas bangun datar, yang berdampak pada rendahnya hasil belajar. Kondisi ini menunjukkan perlunya pengembangan media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi yang interaktif. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Research and Developmentat model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Subjek penelitian yaitu siswa/siswi kelas V SDN Lowokwaru 5, Kota Malang. Instrumen yang digunakan meliputi lembar validasi ahli materi, media, bahasa, angket guru, angket respon siswa dan tes efektivitas. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi angket, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan tes, yang dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan validasi ahli materi 84%, ahli media 93% dan ahli bahasa 100%, yang semuanya dengan kategori “layak untuk digunakan”. Angket guru menunjukkan tingkat kepraktisan 100%, sedangkan angket siswa memperoleh persentase 96%, keduanya termasuk kategori “praktis untuk digunakan”. Uji efektivitas E-LKPD menggunakan N-Gain menunjukkan skor rata-rata 0,8, dengan kategori "tinggi" sehingga dikategorikan “efektif untuk digunakan”. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, E-LKPD berbasis game edukasi Wordwall pada materi luas bangun datar kelas V SD dinilai memenuhi kriteria kelayakan, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran matematika. Direkomendasikan untuk mengembangkan media serupa dengan fitur tambahan yang lebih adaptif.

Abstract

Peserta didik dengan pemahaman konsep yang baik akan lebih mudah membedakan fenomena alam seperti iklim, musim, dan cuaca. Berdasarkan hasil observasi di kelas IV SDN Tanjungrejo 2 Malang, ditemukan permasalahan bahwa peserta didik masih mengalami kesulitan membedakan antara iklim, musim, dan cuaca serta menunjukkan partisipasi rendah dalam pembelajaran. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik melalui penerapan model pembelajaran Team Games Tournament (TGT) pada materi iklim dan perubahannya. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) dengan tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas IV-A SDN Tanjungrejo 2 Malang yang berjumlah 28 peserta didik. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, tes, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Team Games Tournament (TGT) dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan peningkatan ketuntasan belajar dari prasiklus sebesar 29%, menjadi 54% pada siklus I, dan meningkat menjadi 93% pada siklus II. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran Team Games Tournament (TGT) efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar IPAS materi iklim dan perubahannya pada peserta didik kelas IV-A SDN Tanjungrejo 2.

Abstract

The focus of this research is to analyse the numeracy literacy ability in solving System of Linear Equations Two Variables (SPLDV) problems in terms of students' personality. The approach used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The subjects taken were two students of class VIII SMP PGRI 4 Kalipare. Subjects in this study were determined using a questionnaire. Data collection techniques in the form of tests and interviews. Based on the results of the study, it shows that students with introverted personality types are able to meet the three indicators of numeracy literacy skills, namely solving problems using various numbers and symbols related to mathematics; analysing information presented in various images (graphs, tables, charts and so on); and interpreting the results of these analyses to make predictions and decisions. However, extroverted learners' personality type is only able to present one indicator of numeracy literacy, namely analysing information presented in various images (graphs, tables, charts and so on)

Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of interactive learning media in schools. The study aims to determine the feasibility of Augmented Reality-based interactive space building media using the Assemblr EDU application for 5th grade elementary students. This development research applies the ADDIE model with data collected through observation, interviews, documents, and questionnaires. The research subjects involved 14 students from SDN Sukun 1 Malang. The study focuses on the feasibility aspect based on expert validation. The results show that media experts gave a feasibility percentage of 98% in the "Very Feasible" category, while material experts gave 75% in the "Feasible" category. These results indicate that the Augmented Reality-based interactive media is appropriate for use in elementary school learning, meeting feasibility standards and offering potential to support engaging and effective learning experiences for students.

Abstract

The focus of this research is to develop a teaching material product in the form of an e-module with an inquiry approach in geometry learning courses. In this development, researchers refer to the stages of Plomp & Neeven The stages of this research were: (1) preliminary research, (2) prototyping phases, and (3) assessment phases. This article will discuss the assessment phase, namely the test try e-module. The focus of the assessment on this test is to assess the practicality and effectiveness of the e-module. The evaluation for the practicality of the e-module uses the Lecturer Response Questionnaire, while the effectiveness assessment uses the Student Response Questionnaire and Teaching Material Mastery Test. The results of the lecturer response questionnaire were 3.530, the student response questionnaire results were 3.276, and the average test results for mastery of teaching materials were 91.595. The test results show that the e-module meets the criteria of practicality and effectiveness Based on the results of this implementation, e-module with an inquiry approach in geometry learning courses can be applied in lecture classes

Abstract

The background of this study is that students are unable to solve the problems and problems of daily life and which of the students associated with literacy, are unable to think critically and be able to reason in understanding the concept of division operations and multiplication integers. The aim of this study was to describe numerical literacy in the division and multiplication operations of integers in 6th grade elementary school. Research type use descriptive with a qualitative approach. Research instrument consist of interview instrument, observation instrument, and test subject. Research has found no significant obstacle, the study subject can complete most numerical literacy components on the test issue. Research subjects has not been able to dominate numerical literacy of patterns and statistic intact, but some of the components appearing on the subject have not been fully resolved.

Abstract

This study lies in the need to bridge school mathematics with local cultural heritage by emphasizing the relevance of the ethnomathematics framework in promoting contextual learning. Traditional musical instruments, such as Gendrang (Bugisnese drums) and Pui-pui (Bugisnese flutes), serve as cultural artifacts that can be explored through the lens of three-dimensional geometry. However, the integration of these cultural elements into mathematics education remains underexplored. This research aims to identify and model geometric concepts embedded in the two Bugisnese traditional musical instruments using GeoGebra as a visualization tool. Employing a qualitative ethnographic approach, data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The analysis involved identifying geometric shapes in the instruments and constructing mathematical models in GeoGebra. Findings reveal that Gendrang corresponds to a cylindrical shape, while Pui-pui resembles a conical shape. The volumes of both instruments were calculated using the concept of solids of revolution, and visualized interactively. The study concludes that the exploration of ethnomathematics through Bugisnese traditional musical instruments, supported by dynamic visualization in GeoGebra, enhances students’ understanding of three-dimensional geometry, fosters cultural appreciation, and reinforces the contextual relevance of mathematics in local traditions.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kesalahan peserta didik dalam menyelesaikan soal pecahan dalam materi aljabar menurut tahapan Kastolan. Hasil obervasi peserta didik pada kelas VII H dalam penilaian ujian tengah semester di mata pelajaran matematika menunjukkan peserta didik yang sudah mencapai KKM sebanyak 16% peserta didik dan yang belum mencapai KKM sebanyak 84%. Kesalahan yang dilakukan peserta didik terjadi saat mengerjakan soal harian maupun ulangan. Pengklasifikasian kesalahan peserta didik menggunakan tahapan kesalahan Kastolan ada 3 yaitu: kesalahan koseptual, kesalahan prosedural dan kesalahan teknikal. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dan analisis penelitian ini berupa tes menyelesaikan soal pecahan materi aljabar, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik pemilihan subjek dilakukan dengan cara purposive sampling yaitu dengan metode pemilihan subjek secara sengaja untuk mendapatkan sampel 3 peserta didik kelas VIIH, dengan ketentuan kategori peserta didik berkemampuan tinggi, berkemampuan sedang dan berkemampuan rendah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kesalahan konseptual terdapat 13 kasus atau 26% dari keseluruhan, pada kesalahan prosedural ini terdapat 18 kasus atau 36% dari keseluruhan, pada kesalahan teknikal terdapat 19 kasus atau 38% dari keseluruhan. Kesalahan yang paling banyak dilakukan perseta didik adalah kesalahan teknikal yaitu 38%. Kesalahan konseptual karena tidak menuliskan metode, kesalahan prosedural karena tidak mengetahui langkah-langkah untuk menyelesaikan soal, kesalahan teknikal karena salah dalam operasi hitung dan kurang teliti maka masih banyak kesalahan berdasarkan tahapan Kastolan dalam menyelesaikan materi aljabar. Saran untuk lebih banyak mencari referensi atau sumber penelitian yang mendukung dalam penelitian.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik menyelesaikan soal aljabar menggunakan indikator gabungan berpikir kritis Facione dan tahapan Newman. Subjek terdiri dari 29 peserta didik dan hanya 6 peserta didik yang diwawancara serta di analisis berdasarkan kategori berpikir kritis tingkat tinggi, sedang, dan rendah. Pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini meliputi tes, wawancara, dan catatan lapangan. Triangulasi metode digunakan untuk pengecekan keabsahan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pencapaian indikator gabungan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan tahapan Newman yang diperoleh dari peserta didik yang paling tinggi yaitu indikator menginterpretasi, membaca, dan memahami sebesar 89%. Sedangkan undikator yang paling rendah adalah menginferensi dan penulisan 46%. The purpose of this study was to analyze students' critical thinking skills in solving algebraic problems using the combined indicators of Facione's critical thinking and Newman's stages. The subjects consisted of 29 students and only 6 students were interviewed and analyzed based on high, medium, and low critical thinking categories. The collection of data used in this study includes tests, interviews, and field notes. The triangulation method is used to check the validity of the data. The results of the study showed that the combined indicator achievement of critical thinking skills and Newman's stage was obtained from the highest students, namely interpretation, reading, and understanding indicators of 89%. While the lowest indicators are inference and writing 46%.
