Abstract

Bakery product is a product with huge business opportunities in the domestic and international halal food market. Bakery companies demand to keep consumers' trust in their bakery products. This study aims to design the halal assessment model required to determine the critical point in the bakery-making business process. This assessment tool is intended to understand, acknowledge, and determine the critical point of the bakery production process from the halal degree and is reviewed from all aspects, such as the materials’ content, as well as the material acquisition and processing method based on 18 criteria of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) principles. The halal assessment model designed in this research used the Quality Function Deployment (QFD) approach, which was integrated into the company's business process. The halal critical bakery (HCB) was grouped based on Supply Chain Operations Reference (SCOR) model. Matrix 1 integrated GMP and business process (BP), and matrix 2 integrated GMP and HCB. The results of the design model implementation based on the standards set by the Halal Auditor of Institute for the Study of Food, Drugs, and Cosmetics Indonesian Ulema Council (LPPOM MUI) found that the company met the standard matrix component one by 47%. In comparison, matrix component 2 was only able to meet the Auditor standards by 34%, and the matrix component 3 standards were able to be fulfilled by the company by 75%. The fulfillment value of each matrix is influenced by the negative gap that occurs; the negative gap occurs because of the standard criteria in the technical matrix that are not accomplished. This halal assessment model design is expected to help the company evaluate and control critical points in the business processes.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat sebuah platform pengaduan perundungan berlandaskan bukti yang terhubung dengan institusi terkait. Orang ketiga dapat menggunakan platform ini untuk melaporkan kejadian perundungan. Platform ini juga dapat digunakan untuk mengetahui kesehatan mental penggunanya. Platform memiliki fitur konsultasi dalam jaringan melalui fitur chat serta artikel edukasi psikologi dengan berbasis Progressive Web App. Laporan dapat dilakukan oleh korban ataupun pihak ketiga. Laporan perundungan akan masuk ke sekolah korban dan diproses melalui admin sekolah. Pelapor dapat memantau status dari kasusnya. Sekolah dapat merekap laporan kasus dalam rentang waktu tertentu. Pengujian telah dilakukan bersama siswa SMP dan SMA, guru BK, mahasiswa, bagian kemahasiswaan perguruan tinggi dan masyarakat umum. Pengujian dilakukan dengan peran admin institusi, admin pengaduan dan pengguna dengan total responden sebanyak 81 orang. Pengujian dilakukan terkait fungsional menggunakan blackbox test dan uji performa dari platform berdasarkan beberapa aspek. Berdasarkan pengujian yang telah dilakukan, platform ini sudah berfungsi dengan baik. Nilai rata-rata pengujian untuk semua fungsi adalah 351 dari maksimal 400 poin. Pengujian memberikan nilai rentang kelompok tinggi terhadap performa platform karena sudah sesuai dengan kebutuhan pengguna dan sudah memiliki tampilan yang mudah dimengerti, nyaman digunakan. Platform ini bisa menjadi alternatif solusi untuk menyelesaikan kasus perundungan terutama di sekitar kita.

Abstract

The integrity of the global academic record is under unprecedented threat due to the industrialization of scientific misconduct, driven by paper mills, citation cartels, and identity theft, prompting major bibliographic databases to replace manual curation with algorithmic systems. This study examines the operational mechanics of the Scopus Radar tool, an unsupervised anomaly detection system designed to identify and eliminate articles exhibiting anomalous behavior. We reconstruct the bibliometric indicators that lead to discontinuation by triangulating data from the November 2025 Scopus Discontinued Titles list, public Elsevier policy papers, and independent bibliometric research. Our study of 62 cancelled journals shows that Publication Concerns (59.7%) and Outlier conduct (14.5%) are the top grounds for removal. There are definite tendencies when it comes to hyper-concentrated authorship, quick volume velocity spikes, and citation stacking that does not make sense. We also see a "contagion effect," where certain publications have far greater rates of quitting than others. Based on these findings, we propose the Scopus Radar Readiness Model (SRRM). The model is based on the Core Practices of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and has four stages of growth. This roadmap gives editorial boards the tools they need to go from reactive compliance to proactive integrity assurance. They can do this by using internal bibliometric audits to find and fix problems before they lead to external algorithmic enforcement. The results show that journals need to use Level 4 Optimized integrity practices to stay alive in a time when automated gatekeeping is common.

Abstract

Artificial intelligence (AI) is increasingly accessible to small firms, but prior studies mainly explain readiness, adoption, or downstream value rather than the stage at which AI first becomes visible as an operational opportunity. This study examines that upstream stage in small industrial firms by combining technology-organization-environment (TOE) antecedents with diffusion of innovation (DOI) outcomes. A purposive, census-oriented survey was conducted on the official West Sumatra small-industry frame. The final dataset contains 51 usable responses from 69 registered small industrial firms, equal to 73.91% official-frame coverage, and was analyzed with PLS-SEM in SmartPLS 4. A conservative rerun removed one weak infrastructure indicator while retaining the same inner model. The main supported path is human resources and digital literacy to observability (β = 0.609, p = 0.001, f² = 0.318), followed by governance, strategy, and budget support to observability (β = 0.447, p = 0.030, f² = 0.179). Observability reaches R² = 0.496, whereas infrastructure, data management, competitive pressure, and ecosystem support do not show comparable direct effects. The findings indicate that early AI opportunity becomes visible mainly through interpretive workforce capacity and bounded managerial support.

Abstract

Small manufacturing and craft-based firms increasingly use Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) through public chat interfaces, low-cost tools, and informal experimentation. However, these firms often make operational decisions with incomplete records, tacit owner knowledge, fragmented spreadsheets, and limited managerial capacity. Under such conditions, open-ended chatbots may generate fluent but unsafe recommendations by overlooking missing information, contradictory evidence, feasibility constraints, and implementation constraints. This study presents Asisten Cerdas Industri Kecil as a bounded Custom GPT artifact for operational diagnosis, priority selection, and short-horizon action planning in small industries. Using a Design Science Research approach, the study develops a documented artifact corpus comprising a master instruction contract, 15 curated knowledge modules, structured output rules, a 60-scenario evaluation dataset, and automated runner and judge scripts. The artifact formalizes bounded operational reasoning through minimum-field gating, evidence separation, Knowledge-Resource Advantage synthesis, feasibility-weighted priority ranking, stopping rules, and conjunctive batch evaluation thresholds. A technical verification layer was conducted on a three-scenario local-smoke subset using smollm2:135m, qwen2.5:0.5b, and qwen2.5:1.5b with a heuristic judge. Results show that the evaluation scaffold is executable and that model capacity affects bounded instruction following, although hard-guardrail and priority-compliance failures indicate that the results should be interpreted as technical verification rather than final validation. The study contributes an audit-ready bounded Custom GPT architecture, a formal decision model, and a reproducible evaluation protocol for future comparative assessment of bounded and unbounded GenAI decision-support artifacts.
