Abstract

Background: Intimate partner violence (IPV) is the most tragic form of gender inequality and has devastating effects on women worldwide. A couple/family-based intervention approach has been developed and tested to address obstacles preventing intimate partner violence. Purpose: This review aimed to examine couple-based interventions for secondary and tertiary intimate partner violence prevention. Methods: The researcher searched the electronic databases ProQuest, Scopus, PubMed, Science Direct, SpringerLink, and Taylor & Francis for relevant articles. This review includes English/Indonesian research articles published between 2012 and 2022. This study reviewed various types of secondary and tertiary intimate partner violence prevention interventions and their effectiveness in reducing the incidence of intimate partner violence against women. Risk of bias assessment was performed used A Revised Cochrane Risk of Bias Tools for Randomized Controlled Trial (RoB 2). Results: From the search findings, 1,819 articles were found, of which fifteen were included in the review, comprising twelve secondary preventive interventions and three tertiary prevention interventions make up these fifteen articles. Couple-based interventions for secondary prevention include gender transformative interventions, enhancing relationships with partners, bolstering the family economy, and encouraging men's participation in women's reproductive health and parenting. Cognitive-behavioral therapy predominates interventions for tertiary prevention to eliminate risk factors. Conclusion: This article recommends using couple-based interventions under the population's inherent risk factors and pays close attention to the safety of the implementation process.

Abstract

Adolescents and young adults with gynecology cancer are unique, especially in terms of their reproductive and sexual aspects. This systematic review aimed to identify reproductive problems in adolescent and young adult survivors of gynecology cancer. Articles from five databases were reviewed. PubMed, Taylor Francis, Scopus, Science Direct, and Proquest, which were published in 2012-2023, 15-39 years of age, who had gynecology cancer and had completed cancer treatment. Biased risk assessment using Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI) tools. From the 1.167 articles, 12 were reviewed in this systematic review. Based on the results of the study, there were 4479 adolescent and young adult cancer survivors and 990 with gynecology cancer (cervical, ovarian, endometrial, pelvic, and vulva). The average age at diagnosis of cancer was 33,58 years old. Reproductive problems that occur in adolescents and young adults are sexual dysfunction, sexual activity, fertility, and psychosocial problems as a result of reproductive problems. Adolescent and young adult cancer survivors need information on reproductive issues and fertility maintenance after completing cancer treatment. Health professionals must focus on reproductive problems and counselling about long-term reproductive health among adolescent and young adult gynecology cancer survivors.Abstrak: Remaja dan dewasa awal dengan kanker ginekologi punya keunikan khususnya berkaitan dengan aspek seksual dan kesehatan reproduksi. Abstract

This research aims to examine the implementation of skin-to-skin contact for LBW, which includes an analysis of when it is fastest to start, how long it lasts, and what the impact is. The research method used was a systematic review through searches in electronic databases, namely Proquest, Scopus, EBSCOhost, Clinical Key, and Clinical Key for Nursing from 2013 to 2023. The study results showed that early skin-to-skin contact for LBW was safe from eight research articles. Starting in the first 24 hours of life, including mild to moderate unstable conditions, still using a breathing apparatus and IV line (umbilical or central). The initial duration starts from 40 minutes to 16 hours per day. The impact is in the form of a higher rate of weight gain, reduced need for parenteral nutrition, longer duration of breastfeeding, better immunological function and lung function, better sleep patterns, lower prolonged crying patterns, lower markers of stress in babies and mothers, and mortality rates. In the first month, it was quieter. In conclusion, skin-to-skin contact for LBW is safe to do from an early age, including for unstable LBW in the mild to moderate category; the duration starts from 40 minutes and is increased gradually according to the baby's tolerance and has been proven to have many positive impacts on both the baby and the mother.
