Abstract

AbstrakProgram ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan daya saing UMKM Es Krim Yuqi melalui edukasi dan pendampingan administrasi sertifikasi MD dari BPOM dan sertifikasi halal dari BPJPH. UMKM ini masih menghadapi tantangan dalam pemenuhan legalitas produk karena keterbatasan fasilitas, pengetahuan, dan akses terhadap informasi. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan berupa pendampingan dan sosialisasi. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah studi kasus deskriptif dengan metode observasi, wawancara, FGD, dan dokumentasi. Waktu pelaksanaan dimulai dari tahap persiapan program, tahap pelaksanaan program serta tahap monitoring dan evaluasi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa edukasi dan pendampingan yang sistematis mampu meningkatkan pemahaman pelaku usaha terhadap alur, persyaratan, dan urgensi legalitas produk. Program ini juga mencakup pengembangan pemasaran melalui media promosi dan festival UMKM, serta peningkatan kualitas produk melalui reformulasi bahan untuk memperkuat ketahanan es krim terhadap suhu. Intervensi ini diharapkan dapat menjadi model pemberdayaan UMKM dalam mencapai legalitas, memperluas pasar, dan mendorong ekonomi lokal yang berkelanjutan. Kata kunci:: pemberdayaan masyarakat; UMKM; sertifikasi halal; sertifikasi MD AbstractThis program aims to enhance the competitiveness of Yuqi Ice Cream MSME through education and administrative assistance for MD certification (BPOM) and halal certification (BPJPH). The MSME faces challenges in fulfilling product legality due to limited facilities, knowledge, and access to information. A descriptive case study approach was used, with data collected through observation, interviews, focus group discussions, and documentation. The results show that systematic education and mentoring improved the business owner’s understanding of the certification process, requirements, and regulatory importance. The program also supported marketing development through promotional media and MSME festivals, as well as product quality improvement via formula reformulation to enhance ice cream durability. This intervention is expected to serve as a model for empowering MSMEs to achieve product legality, expand market reach, and foster sustainable local economic development. Keywords: community empowerment;  halal certification; MD certification; MSMEs

Abstract

Aktivitas ekonomi ekstraktif pertambangan memiliki karakter eksploitasi terhadap sumberdaya alam yang sangat berisiko tidak hanya bagi lingkungan hidup namun juga bagi kehidupan sosial-kemasyarakatan. Pola eksploitasi berlebihan atas sumberdaya alam,menjadi penyebab utama terjadinya transformasi bentang alam dengan segala keseluruhan isinya di pedesaan. Sementara itu, menilik atmosfer kontestasi antar aktor di kawasan pertambangan, segera tampak bahwa terdapat kelompok yang mampu secara cepat beradaptasi dengan lingkungan yang berubah. Di sisi lain, terdapat kelompok masyarakat yang tidak memiliki banyak pilihan, kecuali pasrah dengan cara membangun relasi-kerja dengan aktivitas ekonomi pertambangan. Ketika perubahan sistem sosial dan ekologi lokal masuk ke tahapan krisis ekologi akibat eksploitasi berlebihan terhadap sumberdaya alam tanpa disertai upaya pemulihan yang mencukupi, maka terdapat ancaman berupa ketidakberlanjutan sistem sosial-ekologi.Dalam hal ini,krisis ekologi kemudian diikuti oleh krisis sosial, krisis sistem penghidupan, dan krisis lain yang kompleks. Oleh karena itu, mengidentifikasi dan mengantisipasi krisis ekologi menjadi upaya yang diperlukan sebagai pintu masuk memahami ancaman-ancaman sosial, ekonomi dan lingkungan terutama bagi kelompok tertentu yang rentan akibat perubahan bentang alam yang dipicu oleh pertambangan. Analisis pada tulisan ini diarahkan untuk memahami ragam bentuk adaptasi yang dikembangkan oleh kelompok sosial rentan di pedesaan yang menyertai perubahan sosial-ekologi akibat ekonomi ekstraktif pertambangan. Hasil kajian, merekomendasikan dibangunnya kolaborasi diantara empat pihak terkait yaitu pemerintah daerah, pemerintah desa, pelaku usaha tambang, dan komunitas untuk merespons krisis ekologi yang berdampak luas pada perubahan sistem sosial dan penghidupan masyarakat lokal.

Abstract

Kampung Batik Laweyan is one of the oldest Batik Villages in Indonesia and is an integrated tourism area. It not only focuses on batik trading, but also batik education, historical tourism, and regional culinary specialties. Kampung Batik Laweyan is a manifestation of an inclusive economy for the community. The activities of the Kampung Batik Laweyan community utilize local economic potential with the aim of community independence and welfare. The purpose of this study is to analyze the impact of local economic development on community independence in Kampung Batik Laweyan. This study used a quantitative approach with a questionnaire supported by a qualitative approach with in-depth interviews. The sampling technique used simple random sampling with a total of 35 respondents. The data were processed with the Spearman Rank correlation test to determine the correlation of local economic development with community self-reliance and SEM PLS regression test to determine the impact of local economic development on community self-reliance. Thus, human capital development and financial support need to be improved so the local economic development process can carry out massively and have impacts on the welfare of local communities. Policies that focus on education and access to financial resources will ensure  broader and sustainable impact. The results showed a correlation between the level of local economic development and the level of community independence. The higher the value of local economic development, the higher the value of community independence. Local economic development affects community self-reliance in the aspects of human capital and financial capital.

Abstract

An empowerment program can be said to be effective and successful if the beneficiary community is empowered. The women's empowerment approach focuses on women's capacity framework in increasing independence and internal strength. However, empowerment programs are still found that do not target communities with the right needs. BaitulMaalKu as an Amil Zakat institution contributes to empowering women in the fields of sewing and fashion design to increase independence. The aim of this research is to analyze the relationship between the level of program effectiveness and the empowerment of women who are beneficiaries of the Empowered Academy program. The number of research respondents was 43 women recipients of the Empowered Academy program who were selected using census techniques. The results of the research show that there is no significant relationship between the level of effectiveness of the empowerment program and the level of empowerment of women who receive the benefits of the Empowered Academy. In general, the level of women's empowerment is not only determined by the level of program effectiveness. Women's empowerment is determined by opportunities for access to credit, doing productive work, and the ability to start a business

Abstract

Fisheries modernization in Indonesia is expected to improve productivity and strengthen the welfare of coastal communities. This study aimed to examine the relationship between the modernization of capture fisheries and fishers’ welfare in Pangandaran Regency. A survey of 60 fishers was conducted using snowball sampling, supported by in-depth interviews and a literature review. Modernization was measured through indicators such as capital, engine power, vessel size, and gear price, while welfare was assessed through income, expenditure, education, health, catch volume, and housing conditions. The analysis employed Spearman’s Rank correlation, complemented by qualitative evidence. The results indicated that most fishers remained at a low to medium level of modernization, while their welfare is generally in the medium category. A strong positive correlation was confirmed between modernization and welfare (ρ = 0.530; p < 0.01). These findings suggest that modernization contributes to better welfare, although the benefits are not distributed evenly, with vessel owners gaining more advantages than crew members. Policy implications highlight the importance of phased financing schemes, improved landing infrastructure, and better protection for small-scale fishers.
