Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the implementation program of the project to strengthen the Pancasila student profile (P5) in the independent curriculum at SDN Genting 02, Jambu District, Semarang Regency, which is a driving school. The research method used is a type of evaluation research using a qualitative descriptive method. This research uses the CIPP evaluation model (context, input, process, product). Data collection techniques used interviews, documentation studies, and observation. Data analysis techniques include Data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions, in accordance with data analysis techniques according to Miles and Huberman. The research findings indicate that the P5 context aspect is crucial for boosting student achievement and fostering enthusiasm for learning. The Input aspect, namely in the fields of planning, schedules, implementation mechanisms, teachers, staff, financing, facilities, and infrastructure are appropriate but there is a need for improvement in several fields. The results of research on process aspects include preparation, activity process, obstacles, and aspects of suitability to the needs of students.  The results of research on the product aspect are the increasing academic and non-academic achievements of students, and also good character in students.

Abstract

This research analyzes the sentiment of Twitter users regarding tourism in Indonesia using the keyword "wonderful Indonesia" as the tourism promotion identity. The aim of this study is to gain a deeper understanding of the public sentiment towards "wonderful Indonesia" through social media data analysis. The novelty obtained provides new insights into valuable information about Indonesian tourism for the government and relevant stakeholders in promoting Indonesian tourism and enhancing tourist experiences. The method used is tweet analysis and classification using the K-nearest neighbor (KNN) algorithm to determine the positive, neutral, or negative sentiment of the tweets. The classification results show that the majority of tweets (65.1% out of a total of 14,189 tweets) have a neutral sentiment, indicating that most tweets with the "wonderful Indonesia" tagline are related to advertising or promoting Indonesian tourism. However, the percentage of tweets with positive sentiment (33.8%) is higher than those with negative sentiment (1.1%). This study also achieved training results with an accuracy rate of 98.5%, precision of 97.6%, recall of 98.5%, and F1-score of 98.1%. However, reassessment is needed in the future as Twitter users' sentiment can change along with the development of Indonesian tourism itself.

Abstract

This research employs a hybrid approach, integrating advanced linear regression and extreme gradient boosting (XGBoost), to forecast student success rates in exams within the dynamic educational landscape. Utilizing Kaggle-sourced data, the study crafts a model amalgamating advanced linear regression and XGBoost, subsequently assessing its performance against the primary dataset. The findings showcase the model's efficacy, yielding an accuracy of 0.680 on the fifth test and underscoring its adeptness in predicting students' exam success. The discussion underscores XGBoost's prowess in managing data intricacies and non-linear features, complemented by advanced linear regression offering valuable coefficient interpretations for linear relationships. This research innovatively contributes by harmonizing two distinct methods to create a predictive model for students' exam success. The conclusion emphasizes the merits of an ensemble approach in refining prediction accuracy, recognizing, however, the study's limitations in terms of dataset constraints and external factors. In essence, this study enhances comprehension of predicting student success, offering educators insights to identify and support potentially struggling students.

Abstract

Abstract Every new policy by Indonesian government in National Examination (NE) implementation always obtains different respond from public. Since the implementation, NE system already experienced many changes, but in recent years this system receives serious critiques. As a result, government then abolished this system as graduation determinant in 2014. This research analyzes public opinion, in the form of positive and negative sentiment toward NE policy, and factors that drive the opinions. Data in this research obtained from online news media from 2012 to 2015. The result shows that public sentiment fluctuating from year to year and depends on three important factors, i.e. political pressure, extreme events, and media coverage.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the pattern of a network collaboration between dengue hemorrhagic health surveillance personnel in the city of Semarang and to understand the flow of information deeply. The method of social network analysis / SNA (Social Network Analysis) on formal and informal communication networks between surveillance officers aims to produce sociometry and sociogram data so that the centrality of each actor in the network can be known. Interaction between Officers will be known through the analysis of the centrality of levels (degree), closeness (closeness), and intercession (betweenness). The approach used is descriptive quantitative. Data was collected using a research instrument in the form of a questionnaire, while the process of input and data analysis was carried out by looking at intact networks and ego networks carried out using UCINET. The results of the analysis show that officers dominate the centrality of the level and the intermediary with the position of Coordinator both City and District (Id. # 128, # 1, # 2, # 3). Collaboration based on working areas has a strong bond because 71% of the districts have a network density above 50%. While the value of closeness is dominated by surveillance members with id # 54, # 15, # 2, # 214, # 15 and # 10.

Abstract

The competition between campus, whether it’s a public college and private college in Central Java, is very tight with the increasing number of interested students for prospective students from various regions. The close competition requires many campuses to compete to provide the best facilities and services. The research objective is expected to support the "XY" university promotion strategy to help the university in the knowledge capture process. Data collection was carried out using the group discussion forum (FGD) method with a structured interview process for university leaders, university officials, marketing departments, and students. The technique used in this study is a soft system methodology (SSM). The results of this study model knowledge capture (KC) on the "XY" university promotion strategy and produce knowledge documentation that provides benefits in making policy strategies and has an impact on increasing the number of prospective new college students by optimizing digital marketing.

Abstract

The E-Marketplace system is a digital place where sellers and buyers meet virtually, and transactions can be processed safely. E-Marketplace companies are oriented toward consumer-centric products and services and operate and have 24/7 non-stop transaction activities. E-Marketplace system development has become the digital transformation in Information Technology (IT) governance that meets the requirements of a system-based automated control with the application of DevOps principles. This study uses a mixed method approach through questionnaires, interviews, expert judgment, and relevant literature reviews related to the e-Marketplace system and IT governance concepts using the COBIT 2019 framework, which has 11 design factors with 40 IT processes to obtain the most appropriate governance model for e-Marketplace companies. The results were obtained in the form of 6 (six) methods in the IT governance model using the DevOps approach, namely the APO03 – Managed Enterprise Architecture, APO04 – Managed Innovation, BAI04 – Managed Availability and Capacity, BAI06 – Managed IT Changes, BAI11 – Managed Projects, and DSS03 – Managed Problems with a score ≥ 75 and the capability level target is at level 4.

Abstract

SNA (Social Network Analysis) is a modeling method for users which is symbolized by points (nodes) and interactions between users are represented by lines (edges). This method is needed to see patterns of social interaction in the network starting with finding out who the key actors are. The novelty of this study lies in the expansion of the analysis of other suspects, not only key actors identified during this time. This method performs a narrowed network mapping by examining only nodes connected to key actors. Secondary key actors no longer use centrality but use weight indicators at the edges. A case study using the hashtag "Manchester United" on the social media platform Twitter was conducted in the study. The results of the Social Network Analysis (SNA) revealed that @david_ornstein accounts are key actors with centrality of 2298 degrees. Another approach found @hadrien_grenier, @footballforall, @theutdjournal accounts had a particularly high intensity of interaction with key actors. The intensity of communication between secondary actors and key actors is close to or above the weighted value of 50. The results of this analysis can be used to suspect other potential suspects who have strong ties to key actors by looking.
