Abstract

The biodiversity of the Tiworo Strait Conservation Area (KKLD) was highly potential to be developed. However, in recent years, potential utilization has begun to lead to environmental destruction due to the use of destructive fishing gear. Therefore, biophysical studies were needed to give an overview and outlook about the area in order to provide information on the condition of coral reefs, reef fish, mangrove, sea grass, scare/endemic biota and socioeconomic conditions as well as the cause of aquatic ecosystems destruction. The method used to collect the data in the field is by undertaking observation, interview, and literature study method. Observation of coral cover and benthos used was by Point Intercept Transect (PIT) method while for the reef fish, the method used was a visual water census (UVC). Quadratic transect method was used for observation of sea grass and mangrove ecosystem. Meanwhile, the socio-economic condition is done by interview survey technique. The observation result shows the coral condition of the Tiworo Straits KKLD was in the medium category with the mean percentage of live coral of 46%. The lowest percentage of live coral was located at Station 1 of Mandike Island (18%), and the highest was at the Indo Island Station (76%), which is categorized as very good. The number of individual reef fish is 1.217 individuals / m2, and benthos type that dominates was sea urchin. The highest density of mangrove trees was 4000 trees/ha and the lowest was 200 trees/ha. The types of sea grasses observed were Thallasia hemprichi and Ehalus acroides. People, in general, have a livelihood as a fisherman with gill net fishing gear and fishing platform.

Abstract

Pelatihan pengembangan bahan ajar interaktif berbasis website menjadi kebutuhan penting bagi guru SMK Plus An-Nuur dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran di era digital. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan melaksanakan pelatihan tersebut dengan fokus pada pengembangan bahan ajar yang interaktif dan berbasis website. Metode pelatihan melibatkan pendekatan praktis dan interaktif, memungkinkan guru untuk memahami konsep, perancangan, dan implementasi bahan ajar berbasis website. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan ini efektif dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan guru dalam mengembangkan bahan ajar interaktif. Para peserta juga termotivasi untuk mengembangkan Bahan Ajar Interaktif dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar di sekolah. Evaluasi partisipan juga menunjukkan tingkat kepuasan yang tinggi terhadap pelatihan ini. Diharapkan hasil dari penelitian ini dapat menjadi referensi bagi institusi pendidikan lain dalam merancang dan melaksanakan pelatihan serupa, serta meningkatkan pemanfaatan teknologi dalam pembelajaran di lingkungan pendidikan.. Kata kunci— Bahan Ajar Interaktif, Pelatihan Guru, Pembelajaran Digital, Pembelajaran Jarak Jauh Abstract Website-based interactive teaching material development training is an important requirement for SMK Plus An-Nuur teachers in improving the quality of learning in the digital era. This program aims to design and implement this training with a focus on developing interactive and website-based teaching materials. The training method involves a practical and interactive approach, enabling teachers to understand the concept, design and implementation of website-based teaching materials. The research results show that this training is effective in increasing teachers' knowledge and skills in developing interactive teaching materials. The participants were also motivated to develop interactive teaching materials in teaching and learning activities at school. Participant evaluations also show a high level of satisfaction with this training. It is hoped that the results of this research can become a reference for other educational institutions in designing and implementing similar training, as well as increasing the use of technology in learning in educational environments. Keywords— Interactive Teaching Materials, Teacher Training, Digital Learning, Distance Learning

Abstract

Abstract Active Thyroid Eye Disease (TED) is a medical condition involving swelling of the muscles, tissues, and fats around the eyes. This can lead to serious symptoms including double vision and vision loss. Tepezza (Teprotumumab) is an innovative therapy that inhibits the insulin-like growth factor 1 receptor (IGF-1R) and has been approved for TED treatment. Teprotumumab works by reducing inflammation and TED symptoms. Pharmacokinetic studies indicate that this drug can be effectively administered via intravenous infusion. Various studies have shown that teprotumumab can significantly reduce proptosis, diplopia, and clinical activity of TED. This therapy has proven effective in various patient groups, including those with long-standing TED and those unresponsive to other treatments. Teprotumumab holds a promising breakthrough in TED management, improving the quality of life for individuals affected by this disease. Further studies are needed to fully understand the mechanism and potential of teprotumumab in TED treatment.

Abstract

Kebanyakan masyarakat Indonesia menggunakan minyak goreng sebagai media penghantar panas. Minyak goreng umumnya berasal dari tumbuhan yang kaya akan kandungan asam lemak tidak jenuh yang berfungsi sebagai senyawa pencegah terjadinya arterosclerosis (penyempitan pembuluh darah). Kayu manis (Cinnamomum burmanii) diblender hingga menjadi serbuk, ditimbang sejumlah 25 gr, dibungkus dengan ketas saring, dimasukkan kedalam alat soxhlet setelah itu dimasukan 100 ml campuran etanol dan air dengan perbandingan 80 : 20 selama 5 jam. Kompor listrik dinyalakan pada suhu 800 C, dan uap di embunkan dengan pendingan. Diperoleh ekstrak cair. Hasil ekstrak cair dalam labu kemudian di uapkan, setelah ekstrak cair dianggap cukup pekat maka cairan dipindahkan pada botol timbang. diovenkan selama 15 menit dengan suhu 1050 C, dan dimasukkan kedalam deksikator selama 30 menit, timbang hasil ekstrak pada neraca analitik, di uji aktivitas antioksidan metode DPPH, selanjutnya minyak goreng sebanyak 250 ml dimasukkan kedalam beaker glass. Panaskan sampai suhu 900C dengan kompor listrik. dan, masukkan ekstrak kayu manis dengan jumlah tertentu kedalam minyak goreng sambil diaduk. Pertahankan suhu tersebut selama 15 menit. beaker glass diangkat dari kompor dan didinginkan pada suhu kamar dan disimpan dalam berbagai waktu yang ditentukan. Berdasarkan penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa, Waktu optimum yang digunakan untuk penyimpanan minyak goreng yang ditambahkan ekstrak kayu manis dalam mengatasi ketengikan pada minyak goreng adalah pada hari ke-22, sedangkan untuk bilanagn Iod pada hari ke-33, dan rasio optimum dalam mengatasi ketengikan pada minyak goreng adalah 5 %.

Abstract

Biodiesel adalah bahan bakar alternatif yang potensial untuk diproduksi secara berkesimbungan. Minyak kelapa sawit salah satu bahan baku yang dapat dikonversi menjadi biodisel. Penelitian ini bertujuan mempelajari pengaruh katalis (NaOH/Ni/γ-Al2O3) pada reaksi transesterfikasi minyak kelapa sawit terhadap persentase rendemen biodiesel, densitas, persentase etil ester, serta konversi asam lemak bebas dari produk biodiesel dari minyak kelapa sawit. Proses pembuatan biodiesel melalui transesterifikasi minyak kelapa sawit dengan pereaksi etanol pada suhu 60oC dengan penambahan katalis NaOH/Ni/γ-Al2O3 . Setelah waktu reaksi yang ditentukan, produk biodiesel didiamkan selama 24 jam ini bertujuan agar terjadi pemisahan antara sisa etanol, dan gliserol. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pengolahan data yang telah dilakukan, produk biodiesel terbaik pada penelitian ini adalah produk dengan persentase katalis 4% dan waktu reaksi 3 jam. Produk biodiesel ini, menghasilkan persentase rendemen sebesar 94,26% dan persentase etil ester sebesar 89,21% dan nilai konversi FFA sebesar 85,28%.

Abstract

Sabut kelapa merupakan salah satu limbah organik yang dapat diolah menjadi pupuk organic karena mengandung sumber hara makro yang dibutuhkan tanaman. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pengaruh komposisi terbaik dari campuran limbah organik (sabut kelapa, kulit kopi dan kotoran ayam) terhadap pupuk padat yang sesuai SNI. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam empat tahap. Tahap pertama dilakukan preparasi limbah organic (sabut kelapa, kulit kopi dan kotoran ayam) yaitu dengan memperkecil ukurannya. Tahap kedua dilakukan pengujian unsur C, N, P dan K dari campuran limbah organik dengan variasi bakteri EM-4 (100, 200 dan 300 mL). Tahap ketiga dilakukan pengujian dengan variasi campuran limbah organik dengan penambahan bakteri EM-4 terbaik. Tahap keempat dilakukan pengukuran pH dan temperatur tiap hari selama sebulan pada tahap kedua dan ketiga. Dari hasil penelitian didapatkan penambahan bakteri EM-4 terbaik yaitu 100 mL. Kandungan unsur karbon masing-masing sampel A, B, C, D dan E yaitu 17,559%, 13,611%, 13,182%, 12,970% dan 15,821%. Kandungan unsur nitrogen masing-masing yaitu 5,112%, 2,601%, 2,198%, 3,459% dan 4,409%. Kandungan unsur posfor masing-masing yaitu 4,279%, 2,227%, 2,648%, 3,068% dan 3,205%. Kandungan unsur kalium masing-masing yaitu 6,798%, 3,231%, 3,410%, 3,490% dan 5,257%. Dapat disimpulkan kandungan C, N, P dan K yang telah memenuhi SNI pupuk padat yaitu terdapat pada sampel A dengan campuran limbah organik sabut kelapa, kulit kopi, kotoran ayam dan bakteri EM-4.

Abstract

Saat ini masyarakat Indonesia masih menggunakan gas LPG dalam aktivitas masak-memasak. Gas LPG merupakan irrewenable energy yang lambat-laun pasti sumbernya akan habis. Hal inilah yang menjadi latar belakang dalam penelitian ini yakni untuk merancang bangun tangki penampung biogas dari bahan dasar karet, plastik dan baja sebagai tangki penampung biogas portable. Tangki biogas portable ini diharapkan dapat berfungsi sama seperti tangki penampung gas LPG yang dapat diisi ulang dan tentunya memenuhi standar yang telah ditentukan dengan melakukan komisioning terlebih dahulu. Perancangan dilakukan dengan menguji kemampuan maksimal tangki dalam menerima tekanan yang diberikan dengan memberikan tekanan yang berbeda-beda berdasarkan material dari tangki penampung. Kemudian menguji pengaruh tekanan dalam tangki terhadap waktu nyala dengan mengisi biogas dari digester ke tangki portable. Untuk tangki biogas portable dari plastik diinjeksikan tekanan dengan perbandingan 5,10 dan 15 psi, dari karet 1,2, dan 3 psi dan dari baja 30,50 dan 75 psi. Kemudian menguji pengaruh tekanan terhadap volume penyimpanan dengan mengisi tangki biogas portable dari galon dengan tekanan 5,10 dan 15 psi,dari karet tekanan 1,2, dan 3 psi serta dari baja 30,50 dan 75 psi. Rancangan tangki penampung biogas portable paling baik yaitu dari material karet dengan tekanan 1 psi didapatkan volume 3,8148 m3. Lama waktu nyala untuk tangki penampung biogas portable paling baik yaitu dari ban karet dengan tekanan 3 psi yaitu 25:02 menit.

The use of this application is expected to increase the efficiency of the registration process and meetings between patients and doctors, by allowing patients to make appointments online, choose a doctor's schedule, and find out the available queue quota. The methods used in this research include literature and interviews as well as system requirements analysis, application design, as well as implementation and evaluation of application use by patients and medical personnel. The research results show that the E-Doc application can speed up the registration process and reduce queues at the Nurul Hasanah General Hospital, so that patients can access health services more efficiently. Apart from that, this application makes it easy for patients who face geographical or physical obstacles to get services without having to come directly to the hospital to register. Thus, it is hoped that the development of this application can improve the quality of health services and minimize patient waiting times at the Nurul Hasanah General Hospital.

Abstract

This study aims to address this gap by exploring innovative strategies to enhance community capacity, thereby promoting sustainable tourism that benefits both the environment and the local economy. Sustainable tourism has gained prominence in both academic research and industry practice over the past decade, particularly in regions like Ciwidey, West Java, where natural beauty attracts a growing number of tourists. This increase in tourism brings both economic opportunities and significant environmental and social challenges, creating a need to balance economic growth with environmental preservation and community welfare. While existing literature emphasizes the importance of sustainable tourism, there is a noticeable gap in understanding how to build community capacity to manage these challenges effectively. Previous studies have often treated economic, social, and environmental aspects separately, lacking a comprehensive approach that integrates all three dimensions in a local context like Ciwidey. Given the strain on Ciwidey’s natural resources and the uneven distribution of tourism benefits, it is urgent to develop strategies that ensure equitable and sustainable economic development. By focusing on these issues, the research seeks to provide practical solutions that empower local communities to actively participate in and benefit from sustainable tourism. The study found that despite a growing awareness of sustainable tourism, significant barriers remain, such as limited resources and a lack of education and training. The success of sustainable tourism initiatives in Ciwidey depends largely on the community’s ability to engage effectively and take full advantage of the opportunities presented by inclusive tourism.
