Abstract

Abstract

The problem in this research is the lack of research that shows traditional musical instruments in Central Kalimantan in the form of visualization (images) and elaboration with culture, maintenance space and also religion, which is basically applicable and useful for the maintenance of property, culture, philosophical values contained therein. This research method is qualitative research with data search through visualization of images or camera shots of the authors directly to the source of traditional musical instruments in Palangka Raya. The results show that diversity, Indonesianness through gotong royong, instrument maintenance, culture and religion are inextricably intertwined as a space for diversity and religiosity and at the same time as a further elaborative space to explore musical instruments with something that enriches art.

Abstract

One of the manufacturing companies engaged in agribusiness, one of which is processing cooking oil, often occurs damage to goods due to excess stock of goods and increases expenses for storage costs. Before carrying out the production process, the company must forecast demand to find out how much the estimated raw material needs will be used as inventory control so that there is no excess or shortage of stock that will harm the company. The purpose of this study is to predict the amount of cooking oil demand in the next 12 periods, plan the lot size of raw materials with the lowest cost and determine the right time to order raw material supplies. The method used in forecasting is Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average (ARIMA) and lot size planning with Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) FOQ and POQ techniques. ARIMA forecasting results with a MAPE value of 33% and the lowest cost technique chosen by POQ

Abstract

This research examines the factors affecting the firm value of non-financial companies in Indonesia. The independent variables in this study are dividend policy, profitability, firm size, leverage, firm growth, liquidity, and audit committee, while the dependent variable is firm value. This study uses data from non-financial companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2017 to 2020. The sample data were tested using a multiple regression model, and the sample selection process used a purposive sampling technique so that a sample of 78 companies was obtained from a sample of 312 data. The results of this study indicate that the variables of profitability, firm size, and leverage positively affect firm value; the dividend policy, firm growth, and audit committee variables hurt firm value, while liquidity variables do not affect firm value.

Abstract

SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) virus spread quickly worldwide affects a variety of industries. The government took preventive steps to control the infection, such as diagnosing the human's lung by taking an X-Ray to see if the lungs were infected with COVID-19 or not. Using several pre-trained Convolutional Neural Network models as the basic model, this research deconstructs the comparison of fine-tuned architecture to identify which pre-trained model delivers the best outcomes in diagnosis by applying machine learning. Comparison is conducted using two scenarios that use batch sizes 64 and 32. Accuracy and f1 score are two evaluation metrics used to justify the model's good performance because the images in the real world, especially for positive classes, are scarce. According to the study, EfficientNetB0 outperforms other pre-trained models, namely ResNet50V2 and Xception, which achieved an accuracy of 0.895 and f1 score of 0.8871.

Abstract

Late teens, namely in the age range 18 – 23 years, are the age range where teenagers tend to develop shopping habits, one of these shopping habits is compulsive buying (compulsive shopping). There are factors that influence the occurrence of compulsive buying in teenagers, one of which is self-control. This research was conducted to determine whether there is a relationship between self-control and compulsive buying in late adolescents who use food delivery services. The type of research carried out was quantitative research using a one-stage cluster sampling technique involving 147 late adolescents who live in West Denpasar sub-district. Data collection was carried out boldly using a questionnaire consisting of; The Self-Control Scale with a reliability coefficient of 0.896 and the Compulsive Buying Scale with a reliability coefficient of 0.35. Data analysis in this study used a simple linear regression test technique. The results of the simple regression test show a significance value of 0.000 (P<0.05). The results of these values indicate that self-control has a significant influence on compulsive buying of 49.9% (R Square = 0.499; significance value 0.000 < 0.05). Thus, the higher the self-control they have, the lower the level of compulsive buying by young people who use food delivery services in West Denpasar.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Indonesia has a high potential for natural disasters due to its geological and geographical factors, such as tectonic activity at the convergence of three major world plates and the presence of many active volcanoes. The country’s high vulnerability to earthquakes also makes it prone to liquefaction and cyclic mobility, which can trigger ground settlement and structural damage. This research aims to expand understanding of liquefaction and cyclic mobility potential in South Tangerang and Wakatobi based on soil types and earthquake magnitudes. Two types of analysis were conducted. The cyclic stress method analysis compares cyclic resistance ratio (CRR) and cyclic stress ratio (CSR) using Idriss-Boulanger, Youd-Idriss, Seed et al., and Tokimatsu-Yoshimi methods. The Tsuchida (1970) method maps grain size distribution test data into curves with boundaries indicating susceptibility to liquefaction and cyclic mobility. Soil is considered to have potential for liquefaction and cyclic mobility if the majority of analysis methods confirm this potential. The results show that Wakatobi has a higher potential for liquefaction and cyclic mobility compared to South Tangerang, with susceptible soil layers reaching depths up to 24 meters. This is due to lower N-SPT values and shallow groundwater levels, increasing vulnerability during earthquakes.

Abstract

This study analyzes factors influencing the job satisfaction of hotel employees in the tourism sector, focusing on innovation and employees’ active role in shaping their work environment. The study involves employees of 1- to 3-star hotels in Batam City, with 352 respondents selected through probability sampling. Data were collected through a 33-item Google Form questionnaire and analyzed using the PLS method with SmartPLS 4.0. The results show that job crafting and innovative work behavior do not directly affect job satisfaction but influence organizational support and employee engagement. Organizational support and employee engagement significantly affect job satisfaction and act as mediators in the relationship between job crafting and innovative work behavior with job satisfaction. Thus, employee job satisfaction cannot be built solely through job crafting or innovation but must be supported by organizational support and employee engagement.
