Abstract

Basic motor skills are essential for the physical, cognitive, and social development of elementary school children, especially in the early grades (grades 1–3). However, these skills often do not receive sufficient attention in education. This community service initiative aims to improve students' basic motor skills through engaging educational games, while also improving teacher competence and encouraging parental participation. The program was implemented at Ngeronggo 2 Kediri city elementary school, involving 45 students, 8 teachers, and 45 parents. The methods used included training for teachers and parents, play activities for children, and assessment through observation, student reflection, and surveys. The results showed that 87% of students reported enjoying participating in the activities, while 89% were actively involved in all movement activities. Teachers' average knowledge scores increased from 63.75 to 87.5 after the training. Additionally, 89% of parents reported benefits from the Daily Movement Calendar, while 82% said their children were interested in playing the games again at home. These findings indicate that instructional games effectively improve children's basic motor skills and receive positive support from educators and families. This approach is relevant for implementation in other elementary schools to foster a culture of active and healthy movement from an early age.

Abstract

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to improve the learning outcomes of volleyball underhand passing by applying the inclusive teaching style to Class V students of MI Darul Huda Academic Year 2022/2023. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR). This research was conducted in two cycles, consisting of four stages in each cycle consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The research subjects were Class V students of MI Darul Huda Academic Year 2022/2023, totaling 26 students consisting of 15 male students and 11 female students. Data collection techniques with tests and observations. Data validity uses data triangulation techniques. Data analysis used descriptive qualitative with percentage techniques. The results of data analysis in cycle I obtained learning outcomes of 26 students (100%) achieving complete criteria in the cognitive aspect, psychomotor aspects of 14 students (28%) achieving complete criteria in volleyball underpassing, while in the affective aspect 1 student ( 4%) got the Very Good category (A), 23 students (88%) got the Good category (B), and 2 students (8%) got the Enough category (C). In cycle II, the learning outcomes were obtained by 26 students (100%) achieving the complete criteria in the cognitive aspect, the psychomotor aspect of 24 students (92%) achieving the completion criteria in volleyball underpassing, while in the affective aspect of 3 students (12%) ) got the Very Good category (A), and 23 students (88%) got the Good category (B). Based on the results of this study, it was concluded that applying an inclusive teaching style can improve learning outcomes of volleyball underhand passing in Class V MI Darul Huda Academic Year 2022/2023. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the correlation of leg muscle strength with smash accuracy, to determine the correlation of hand eye coordination with smash accuracy, to determine the correlation of arm muscle strength with smash accuracy and to determine the correlation of leg muscle strength, hand eye coordination and arm muscle strength with smash accuracy in volleyball game at the Mars 76 Volleyball Club Kediri City in 2023. In this study the approach used was a quantitative approach, researchers used a correlational method. The population and sample in this study were 15 women's volleyball athletes from Mars 76. Data collection techniques in research are test and measurement techniques. Based on the results of the study, it showed that there was a significant relationship between leg muscle strength and smash accuracy, with rx1.y = 3.502 > r(0.05)(15) = 0.382, there was a significant relationship between hand eye coordination and smash accuracy, with rx2.y = 3.433 > r(0.05)(15) = 0.472 and there is a significant relationship between arm muscle strength and smash accuracy, with rx3.y = 1.851 > r(0.05)(15) = 0.462. From the results of this analysis, the correlation coefficient between leg muscle strength, eye-hand coordination and arm muscle strength was obtained with a smash accuracy of 0.515. The weight test for the correlation coefficient was carried out by consulting the value of F count 4,850 > F table at a significance level of 5% and degrees of freedom 3;15, namely 3,187, and Rx1.x2.x3.y = 0.515 > R(0.05)(15) = 3,187 , means that the correlation coefficient is significant. The hypothesis reads "There is a significant relationship between leg muscle strength, eye-hand coordination and arm muscle strength with smash accuracy. Abstract

In swimming, there are several components of physical condition that need to be mastered, while partners do not have data on the physical condition of their athletes as a consideration for providing daily training programs. The purpose of this parameter test is to equip swimming coaches in Kediri City and Regency to be able to find out the physical condition of their athletes at this time so that it becomes the basis for providing training programs that can be right on target. The method used in community service activities is a physical condition test of swimming athletes, the test instrument used there are 10 components of test items, data is analyzed using averages and percentages. The results of community service activities in the dominant results of the analysis of the physical condition of male athletes in cities and districts showed that 60% of male athletes in Kediri city had medium abilities, 45% of male athletes in Kediri district had less abilities. In the women's results, 50% of female athletes in Kediri have medium abilities, 40% of female athletes in Kediri have less abilities. Thus, it can be concluded that the physical condition of male and female athletes in Kediri city has moderate physical condition abilities, while male and female athletes of Kediri regency have less physical condition abilities.
