Abstract

This study aims to improve teacher work productivity by strengthening school discipline and motivation. A quantitative approach was used in this study, along with correlation and survey methods. The study population was 195 teachers, and a sample of 131 teachers was randomly selected using the proportional random sampling method with standard and homogeneous data distribution. Data were collected through a questionnaire for validity and reliability through expert judgment and empirical tests. The findings of this study indicate that work discipline and teacher productivity have a positive and significant correlation (ry1) of 0.803, with a contribution (r²y1) of 64.5%. Work motivation and teacher productivity also have a positive and significant correlation (ry2) of 0.791, with a contribution (r²y2) of 62.5%. In addition, work discipline and work motivation have a positive and significant relationship (ry12) of 0.852, with a contribution (r²y12) of 72.5% to increasing teacher work productivity. The results of this study provide important implications for the development of managerial policies in schools, which should focus on improving teacher discipline and motivation to encourage work productivity. Schools need to design programs that strengthen both as key factors in improving the quality of education and student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research aims to focus on developing a measurement tool for assessing service quality in primary schools utilising the ADDIE model. The development process consists of five key phases: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. By applying the ADDIE framework, the study successfully established an instrument to evaluate educational service quality at Public Elementary School in South Tangerang. The process followed a systematic approach through these five stages. In the Analysis phase, the study found that the SERVQUAL model is particularly suitable for assessing educational service quality in primary education. During the Design phase, the questionnaire was validated by experts without requiring any modifications, confirming its content validity. In the Development phase, 23 out of 26 statements were deemed valid, resulting in a reliability score of 0.812, indicating the instrument's consistency. The Implementation phase confirmed the validity and reliability of all statements on a larger scale, achieving a Cronbach's alpha of 0.924. Finally, the Evaluation phase gathered feedback that endorses the instrument's effectiveness while identifying areas for future enhancement. Overall, this research illustrates that the developed tool is both valid and reliable, offering essential insights into educational service quality from parents' perspectives.

Abstract

Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) is a pedagogical approach that emphasizes the importanceof considering students' cultural backgrounds in the learning process in order to create an inclusive, equitable and effective learning environment. This study aims to develop a valid and reliable CRTpractice measurement instrument in accordance with the Indonesian educational context. Theresearch method used was Research and Development (R&D) with the Four-D model (Define,Design, Develop, Disseminate). The instrument was developed based on literature review andexpert validation, then tested on Teacher Professional Education Program (PPG) students throughvalidity and reliability analysis. The validity test results using Aiken's V showed that 20 out of 24statement items were declared valid, while the reliability test resulted in a Cronbach's Alpha valueof 0.984 which showed a very high level of internal consistency. The resulting CRT instrumentincludes five main dimensions, namely Validating, Multidimensional, Empowering,Transformative, and Emancipatory. This instrument can be used by teachers, researchers andpolicy makers to assess and improve the implementation of culturally responsive learning, as wellas a basis for the development of more inclusive and contextualized education policies inIndonesia.

Abstract

Innovative behavior is a person's action in exploring problems, developing, promoting, and realizing new ideas in the form of processes, products, or procedures to improve work effectiveness for the benefit of the organization. This study aims to determine whether there is a direct or indirect influence of the variables of servant leadership, organizational climate, and achievement motivation on teachers' innovative behavior. This research is a quantitative study using a survey method and a path analysis approach. The population in this study consists of teachers with civil servant status (PNS) at public elementary schools in South Bogor District, Bogor City. A sample of 145 teachers was selected using a proportional random sampling technique from a population spread across 37 public elementary schools in South Bogor District, Bogor City. The results of the study show a direct positive influence between: (1) Servant leadership on innovative behavior (β=0.133); (2) organizational climate on innovative behavior (β=0.116); (3) achievement motivation on innovative behavior (β=0.733); (4) servant leadership on achievement motivation (β=0.438); (5) organizational climate on achievement motivation (β=0.198); (6) there is a positive indirect effect of servant leadership on innovative behavior through achievement motivation with an effect value of 0.321; (7) there is a positive indirect effect of organizational climate on innovative behavior through achievement motivation with an effect value of 0.145. The results of the study indicate that innovative behavior can be enhanced through servant leadership, organizational climate, and achievement motivation. Abstract

Speaking ability is essential in 21st-century education, yet many students still struggle with limited vocabulary, unclear pronunciation, and low comprehension. This study examined the impact of two digital storytelling applications, Read to Me and Fairytales, on enhancing students’ speaking ability. A quantitative approach with a quasi experimental method are used in this research. The research was conducted at a private senior high school in Bogor using non-equivalent control groups design. Two tenth-grade classes were selected, both of classes chosen randomly by lottery system, with one group using Read to Me and the rest of the class using Fairytales. The research focused on speaking ability with the component vocabulary, pronunciation, and comprehension. The results were analyzed using an independent samples t-test, which showed a significant difference between the groups’ post-test scores (t = 2.32, df = 63, p < 0.05). The experimental group which is treated by Read to Me showed greater increased, likely due to features such as audio narration, highlighted text, and adjustable speed, which offered better language input. In conclusion, digital storytelling with interactive elements can effectively influences students’ speaking ability in phase E.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to develop a constellation model illustrating the influence among variables to enhance teachers' Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) by employing the POP-SDM. Mixed method is used to conduct this study. The population of the study are the vocation high school teachers in Bogor Regency. As much as 218 are chosen randomly using multistage random sampling.  Interview, documentation and questionnaire are used to collect the data. Interview and documentation are used to gain qualitative data, and the rest is used to gain quantitative data. SEM PLS is used as statistical analysis to find the quantitative result. The resulting model has significant relevance, especially in understanding the dynamics of educational organizations in Indonesia. As an implication, if teachers' OCB is to be improved, it is necessary to strengthen religiosity, mutual cooperation, organizational climate and tolerance as exogenous variables with work motivation as an intervening variable. This relevance lies in several important aspects that are at the core of the inter-variable influence, namely religiosity, mutual cooperation, organizational climate, tolerance, and motivation.
