Abstract

Provinsi Bali memiliki potensi untuk pengembangan berbagai usaha perikanan sehingga seharusnya sektor perikanan memberikan kontribusi yang besar terhadap perekonomian di provinsi tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan tinjauan lebih mendalam terkait hal ini, dengan melibatkan aspek-aspek relevan yang meliputi kontribusi dan tren, pengaruh pendapatan, investasi penanaman modal dalam negeri, investasi penanaman modal asing, dan ekspor sektor perikanan. Aspek-aspek tersebut dianalisis keterkaitannya dengan produk domestik regional bruto Provinsi Bali, melalui analisis regresi “Ordinary Least Square” (OLS), yang dioperasikan menggunakan perangkat Eviews 10. Di samping itu, dilakukan pula analisis daya saing komparatif sektor perikanan menggunakan pendekatan Revealed Comparative Advantage (RCA). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata kontribusi produk domestik regional bruto sektor perikanan terhadap produk domestik regional bruto Provinsi Bali 2000- 2019 termasuk kategori sedang, yaitu sebesar 4,18%. Lebih lanjut diperoleh bahwa pendapatan dan ekspor berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap produk domestik regional bruto provinsi; sementara itu, investasi penanaman modal dalam negeri dan penanaman modal asing tidak berpengaruh secara signifikan. Ekspor sektor perikanan Provinsi Bali yang memiliki daya saing komparatif yang tinggi menurut komoditas utama Indonesia dengan analisis RCA adalah tuna-tongkol-cakalang dan mutiara yang memiliki kontribusi besar dalam ekspor perikanan Provinsi Bali. Implikasi kebijakan dari hasil-hasil ini adalah bahwa kebijakan untuk pengembangan perikanan di Provinsi Bali perlu memberikan penekanan pada upaya-upaya peningkatan ekspor, yang difokuskan pada tiga empat komoditas, yaitu tuna, tongkol, cakalang, dan mutiara. Tittle: Contribution of the Fisheries Sector on the Economic of Bali ProvinceBali province has the potential to develop for various fisheries businesses that allow a great economic contribution to the province. This research, as an in-depth study, dealth with relevant aspects such as contribution, trend, effect of income, domestic investment, foreign investment and fisheries exports. Those aspects were analyzed with regards to Gross Regional Domestic Product of Bali with regression analysis “Ordinary Least Square” (OLS) exercised by Eviews 10. This study also analyzed the comparative competitiveness of fisheries sector with Revealed Comparative Advantage (RCA) approach. The results showed that the average Gross Regional Domestic Product contribution of fisheries sector to the Gross Regional Domestic Product of Bali Province in 2000-2019 was in the medium category of 4.18%. In addition, income and exports have a significant effect on the Gross Regional Domestic Product of Bali, while domestic investment and foreign investment have no significanteffect. Export commodity from Bali fisheries with a high comparative competitiveness according to Indonesia’s main commodities with RCA analysis are tuna-little tuna-skipjack and pearls, allowing a great contribution for fisheries export of Bali. The policy implication of this study suggest a need to emphasize on the effort to export growth focusing on the four commodities: tuna, little tuna, skipjack, and pearl.

Abstract

Sejak tahun 2015 pelaksanaan AUTP diberlakukan di Indonesia, salah satunya di Kecamatan Penebel yang merupakan kecamatan dengan hamparan sawah terluas di Kabupaten Tabanan yaitu 3.894 Ha. Subak Keloncing dan Subak Piak merupakan dua subak yang berlokasi di Desa Wongaya Gede Kecamatan Penebel. Subak Keloncing merupakan peserta program AUTP sedangkan Subak Piak bukan peserta program AUTP. Berada di lokasi yang sama namun kedua subak ini memiliki keputusan yang berbeda dalam partisipasi program AUTP sehingga menarik untuk dilakukan penelitian mengenai faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi partisipasi petani dalam asuransi usahatani padi  (AUTP) di Kecamatan Penebel Kabupaten Tabanan. Faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi partisipasi petani dalam program AUTP dianalisis menggunakan regresi logistik biner (binary logistic regression). Petani responden memiliki karakteristik seperti pada petani pada umumnya, hanya saja petani responden mayoritas adalah petani gurem. Terdapat empat faktor yang memengaruhi partisipasi petani dalam program AUTP yaitu sikap terhadap perubahan, gaya kepemimpinan pekaseh, metode sosialisasi program AUTP dan peran keaktifan PT. Jasindo dalam progarm AUTP. Diperlukan upaya lebih lanjut mengenai sosialisasi kepada petani yang belum berpartisipasi dalam program dan pemerintah diharapkan membuat suatu wadah untuk menampung aspirasi petani mengenai kekurangan maupun kelebihan program AUTP sebagai bahan evaluasi.

Abstract

Peanut Farming Income Analysis (Case Study in Subak Gerokgak, Gerokgak District, Buleleng Regency). Peanuts are an agribusiness commodity that has high economic value and is a source of protein for the Indonesian population. One of the crops that are grown by farmers in Subak Gerokgak is peanuts. This study aims to determine the income, R / C ratio and constraints in peanut farming in Subak Gerokgak, Gerokgak District, Buleleng Regency. The location selection and determination of the 25 respondent farmers were carried out by using purposive sampling technique. The results of the analysis show that one planting season requires production costs of Rp. 7,696,728.00 per 1.07 ha, resulting in revenues of Rp. 20,116,440.00 per 1.07 ha, and income of Rp. 12,419,712.00. The R / C ratio per 1.07 ha is 1.61 and the obstacles faced by farmers are technical constraints. Farmers should reduce production costs, especially labor costs outside the household and improve pests management technique.

Abstract

The Performance of Tunjung Mekar Farmer Group in Rural Agribusiness Development in Macang Village, Bebandem District, Karangasem Regency. Rural Agribusiness Development (PUAP) is a medium-term government program that focuses on rural agricultural development. One of the farmer group associations that implement this program is Gapoktan Tunjung Mekar in Macang Village, Bebandem District, Karangasem Regency. This study involves 16 participants who are the heads and secretaries of each farmer group. Using a qualitative descriptive method, this study shows that the performance of Gapoktan Tunjung Mekar in developing PUAP can be categorized as a beginner with a score of <250. There is only one subak, namely Subak Macang which is included in the intermediate category with a score of 433. PUAP has an impact in the form of additional capital for each farmer group by an average of 48.25%, so that the final capital obtained is IDR 148,250,000 from the initial capital. IDR 100,000,000.

Abstract

Analysis of Factors Influencing Consumers in Choosing Coffee Shops in Denpasar City. Nowadays, having coffee in coffee shops has become a habit or lifestyle for Indonesian. The increasing coffee consumption in Indonesia is in line with the proliferation of coffee shops in various places, especially in a number of big cities, including Denpasar. Using qualitative and quantitative data, this study aims to determine the profile of coffee shops in Denpasar City and to identify the factors that influence consumers in choosing coffee shops in Denpasar City. 80 respondents were selected through accidental sampling. The study uses Multiple Linear Regression Analysis with consumer decisions as the dependent variable (Y) and price, product quality, promotion, store atmosphere and location as the independent variable (X). Based on the result, the profile of coffee shops in Denpasar was identified. Most coffee shops in Denpasar are still classified as a small business. Coffee shops in Denpasar sell both coffee and non-coffee beverages as well as snacks, such as donuts, toast and others with price ranges between Rp. 15,000 and 35,000. The coffee shops have different concepts, quality of taste, characteristics and provide different facilities, such as wifi, electrical plugs, air-conditioned rooms, smoking areas and so on. The result shows that price, product quality, promotion, store atmosphere and location influence consumer decision in choosing coffee shops in Denpasar. Coffee shop entrepreneurs in Denpasar may consider the above-mentioned variables in improving their business. For instance, they may consider improving the facilities, maintaining the suitability of taste quality with price, using promotions and choosing the right location in opening new shops.

Abstract

Urban agriculture has an important role in providing a source of family income. One of the subaks in urban areas that is still producing is the Sembung Subak, which is located in Peguyangan Village, North Denpasar District. The purpose of this study was to determine the profile of urban agricultural enterprises in Subak Sembung, Denpasar City, to determine farm income in urban agriculture and farm households in Subak Sembung and to determine the role of farming in urban agriculture on farm household income. The samples of this study were 66 farmers who were taken from 8 munduk in Subak Sembung. This type of research is descriptive quantitative. The variables observed in this study were cash receipts, cash and non-cash variable costs, fixed costs and equipment depreciation costs. The results showed that most of the farmers were still of productive age with the main job as farmers. The average farm income in Subak Sembung for 2020 was IDR 27,082,103/year. Based on the R/C value obtained> 1, it can be concluded that all commodities cultivated by farmers are efficient. The average farm household income is IDR 51,606,864/year. The contribution given from farming to total farm household income is 46.9%, it can be concluded that agriculture in Subak Sembung plays a role in household income. During the Covid-19 pandemic, the income of farmers who cultivated rice in Subak Sembung did not experience significant changes, while for vegetable farmers, there was a change due to decreased purchasing power.

Abstract

Agroindustri gulamerahmerupakan salah satu agroindustri yang banyak ditemui di Desa Besan, Kecamatan Dawan, Kabupaten Klungkung. Agroindustri gula merahdi Desa Besan telah ada secara turun temurun dan bersifat tradisional. Kelompok Wanita Tani Sari Kelapa merupakan kelompok yang beranggotakan para ibu rumah tangga di Desa Besanyang memiliki mata pencaharian yang sama.Kegiatan ekonomi yang dilakukan oleh kelompok ini adalah memproduksi produk olahan nira kelapa seperti gula merah batok, gula semut dan sirup gula.Kegiatan produksi gula merah ini memberikan kontribusi yang besar bagi pendapatan rumah tangga setiap anggota KWT. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk : 1) Menganalisis sumber-sumber pendapatan rumah tangga Kelompok Wanita Tani Sari Kelapa, 2) Menganalisis kontribusi pendapatan industri gula merah terhadap pendapatan rumah tangga KWT Sari Kelapa. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode analisis kuantitatif dan kualitatif.Responden penelitian ditentukan dengan metode sensus, data penelitian diperoleh melalui wawancara langsung, observasi, dan dokumentasi.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa:1) Sumber pendapatan dari rumah tangga anggota KWT dari industri gula merah, usahatani lainnya, dan non pertanian, 2) Kontribusi pendapatan industri gula merah terhadap pendapatan rumah tangga anggota KWT Sari Kelapa adalah 50,10 % Kata Kunci: kontribusi, gula merah; kelompok wanita tani; pendapatan rumah tangga

Abstract

The Effect of Banyuatis Coffee Product Diversification on Profitability in CV Pusaka Bali Persada The Influence of Product Diversification of Banyuatis Coffee on Profitability of CV Pusaka Bali Persada Diversification is a company strategy to add new products that are related to existing products. Analysis of the factors affecting profitability is very important considering that many companies went bankrupt due to unhealthy finances. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of Banyuatis coffee product diversification on the profitability of CV Pusaka Bali Persada. 10 product samples were obtained by using purposive sampling method. In addition, this study analyzes the company's financial statements from 2009–2018. CV. Pusaka Bali Persada diversifies its products in terms of packaging and types of coffee produced. Types of packaging are divided into three, namely packages of 40, 150 and 200 grams. The results of the analysis confirm that there is a positive and significant influence between diversification and company’s profitability. Based on SPSS data processing, the resulting F value (count) is 4.10 for 10 samples. With F count of 7.659, which means F (count) > F (tabel) (7,659> 4,10), the drop test on the H0 and H1 reports is accepted for the hypothesis. In conclusion, this research shows that there is a positive influence between product diversification and company’s profitability in the period 2009 to 2018.

Abstract

Factors Influence Consumers Decisions in Purchasing Organic Vegetables in the Modern Market of Denpasar City Organic vegetables are one of the products produced from agriculture that are environmentally friendly and closer to the concept of nature, so that it can provide a guarantee of good quality compared to ordinary vegetables. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that influence consumers decisions in purchasing organic vegetables and the most dominant factors influencing consumers decisions in purchasing organic vegetables in the Modern Market of Denpasar City. The data in this study consisted of qualitative data and quantitative data obtained from primary data sources and secondary data. The sampling technique was done by accidental sampling and obtained 50 respondents. The analysis technique used is SEM-PLS. The dependent variable (Y) is the consumers decisions and the independent variable (X) is price, product quality, location, service, and attitude. The results showed that the variables of price, product quality, and service had a significant effect, while the variables of location and attitude had no significant effect. The dominant variable that influences consumers decisions in purchasing organic vegetables in the Denpasar Modern Market is the price variable. Suggestions for this research are expected in the Modern Market can pay attention to the prices offered. Affordable prices supported by friendly service and appropriate product quality. The location is expected to be easy to reach and the attitude is well received.

Abstract

The promising economic value of durian commodity is influenced by the superior characteristics possessed by each variety, especially its shape, thorn structure, taste, and thickness of the flesh. Durian agribusiness growth and expansion demands the constant availability of superior seeds. Missteps in utilizing durian seedlings will result in massive losses in time and energy put into the cultivation process, as it only could be seen after the plants bear fruit. Thus, the final objective of the study was to construct the durian seedling agribusiness model. To build a sufficient model, we initially investigated three major themes: 1) the grafting study on the four-week-old rootstock, 2) the grafting study on the two-month-old rootstock, and 3) the grafting study on the four-month-old rootstock. The eight-month study was conducted in an Experimental Garden owned by the School of Agriculture, Udayana University. Analysis of variance (ANOVA) applied to analyze the first, second, and third study aims. Depending on the analysis of the first, second, and third aims, the final objective was addressed using descriptive-qualitative analysis. Findings revealed that grafting on four-week-old rootstock was feasible. Additionally, findings reported that entres from the durian seedling did not provide optimal grafting results. Seeds from local durian varieties (consumable durian seeds) were sufficient for rootstock material. Findings suggested the utilization of local durian for the rootstock material due to their high viability in different vegetation types and tolerance to environmental stress. Entres from productive mother tree is highly advisable for grafting.
