Abstract

The marketing of agricultural products has long been a challenge for the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture (KPFP), particularly in the business-to-customer (B2C) arena. To address this issue, KPFP, as one of the business units at Udayana University, has recently embarked on the development of an e-commerce system, recognizing its potential as an alternative medium for promotion, communication, and information dissemination. The objective of this study is to identify the characteristics of each KPFP field and to design an e-commerce system that caters to their respective needs. The analytical approach employed in this study was descriptive qualitative method, supported by simple tabulations and the Lean User Experience (Lean UX) approach. Our findings reveal that each KPFP field has performed its assigned tasks and responsibilities satisfactorily. The e-commerce system we have developed offers customers a choice of payment methods, including cash on delivery (COD), and ensures timely delivery, thus enabling customers to enjoy the products in a fresh condition without any loss of quality. Further research is needed to assess the system's effectiveness using the Success Rate as a usability parameter and to evaluate the efficiency of usage time, measured in seconds or minutes, required by customers to complete each task.

Abstract

UMKM merupakan salah satu unit usaha yang mampu memberikan kontribusi terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi. Usaha, mikro, kecil, dan menengah (UMKM) tempe di Kota Mataram menjadi salah satu sentra industri yang dominan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk (a) menganalisis modal usaha, karakteristik, motivasi dan inovasi wirausaha pada UMKM tempe di Kota Mataram; (b) menganalisis kinerja UMKM tempe di Kota Mataram; (c) menganalisis pengaruh modal usaha, karakteristik, motivasi dan inovasi wirausaha terhadap kinerja UMKM tempe di Kota Mataram. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan yaitu proposional random sampling, dengan pemilihan 145 responden. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Kota Matram pada UMKM tempe. Pemilihan lokasi ditentukan secara purposive sampling. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah metode kualitaitif dan dengan menggunakan structural equation model (SEM). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (a )Modal usaha, karakteristik, motivasi dan inovasi wirausaha di Kota Mataram sudah dinilai baik dilihat dari tanggapan responden yang didominasi oleh "baik" dan dari masing-masing indikator variabel; (b) variabel kinerja UMKM tempe sudah dinilai baik dilihat dari tanggapan responden yang didominasi oleh "setuju" dan dari masing-masing indikator variabel; (c) Modal usaha, karakteristik, motivasi dan inovasi di Kota Mataram berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja UMKM tempe secara tidak langsung, dimana variabel yang berpengaruh signifikan yaitu modal usaha sebesar 2,096, karakteristik wirausaha sebesar 3,407, sedangkan motivasi sebesar 2,416, dan inovasi tempe sebesar 2,556 Sehingga dapat disimpulkan berpengaruh postif. Saran dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk keberhasilan usaha pembuatan tempe diperlukan keberanian dalam modal usaha sehingga akan timbul motivasi sebagai penggerak untuk melakukan suatu kegiatan atau upaya untuk mencapai tujuan dalam berwirausaha.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis adopsi inovasi combine harvester pada subak di Kabupaten Tabanan, Provinsi Bali meliputi proses difusi, faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi dan konsekuensi adopsi inovasi. Proses difusi dan konsekuensi adopsi inovasi akan dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif. Difusi dan konsekuensi inovasi di analisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif. Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi adopsi inovasi akan dianalisis menggunakan statistik infrensial yaitu model SEM PLS. Hasil dari penelitian ini antara lain proses difusi inovasi dimulai sejak tahun 2009, yang diawali dengan uji coba combine harvester oleh pemerintah Kabupaten Tabanan. Combine harvester diterima setelah uji coba di Subak Bengkel pada tahun 2017. Variabel yang memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap adopsi inovasi terdiri dari variabel atribut inovasi dan jenis keputusan. Adopsi inovasi berpengaruh singnifikan terhadap konsekuensi combine harvester di Kabupaten Tabanan. Combine harvester memberikan konsekuensi seperti mempercepat proses panen dan menurunkan tingkat kehilangan hasil rata-rata hanya 1,5%. Saran dari penelitian ini adalah petani di Kabupaten Tabanan memanfaatkan combine harvester dalam proses panen padi sawah.

Abstract

Program Hutan Kemasyarakatan merupakan salah satu upaya untuk menyelamatkan hutan sekaligus memberikan manfaat pada masyarakat. Masyarakat diberikan izin untuk mengelola hutan dengan syarat tidak mengembangkan jenis tanaman dengan sistem monokultur melainkan dengan sistem kebun campuran atau agroforestri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui indeks dan status keberlanjutan sistem agroforestri berbasis kopi di Hutan Kemasyarakatan Desa Wanagiri, Kabupaten Buleleng ditinjau dari dimensi ekologi, dimensi ekonomi, dimensi sosial budaya, dimensi Hukum dan kelembagaan serta dimensi teknologi dan infrastruktur. Analisis data menggunakan pendekatan multidimensional scaling (MDS) dengan teknik Rap-fish yang dimodifikasi menjadi Rap-Coffee melalui metode multidimensional scaling (MDS). Analisis leverage dan analisis prospektif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui nilai indeks keberlanjutan sistem agroforestri kopi di Hutan Kemasyarakatan Desa Wanagiri Kabupaten Buleleng untuk dimensi sosial yang peling tinggi dengan indeks sebesar (70,86), dilanjutkan dengan hukum dan kelembagaan dengan indeks sebesar (70,06), dimensi teknologi dan infrastruktur dengan indeks (65,21), dimensi ekologi (65,07) kempat dimensi tersebut menunjukan status cukup berkelanjutan sedangkan dimesi ekonomi menunjukan status kurang berkelanjutan dengan nilai indeks sebesar (48,16) secara multidimensional nilai indeks status keberlanjutan di Desa Wanagiri Kabupaten Buleleng sebesar (63,87) yang tergolong cukup berkelanjutan pada analisis leverage di dapatkan 20 atribut sensitif dari 5 dimensi yang diteliti. Pada analisis prospektif terdapat enam faktor kunci yang mempunyai pengaruh kuat terhadap sistem agroforestri di Hutan Kemasyarakatan Desa Wanagiri, Kecamatan Sukasada, Kabupaten Buleleng yaitu kondisi iklim, luas hutan yang masih baik, stabilitas harga kopi, kelembagaan Bumdes, dukungan pemerintah pusat dan kondisi jalan. Untuk keberlanjutan agroforestri sebaiknya dilakukan upaya peningkatan status terhadap atribut sensitif dan faktor kunci guna penerapan strategi keberlanjutan.

Abstract

The development of virgin coconut oil (VCO) agro-industry products has been studied. Research objectives are; 1). Analyzing the added value of VCO processing agroindustry on the scale of UMKM in North Sulawesi Province 2). Determining the factors that influence the added value. This study uses the Hayami value added analysis method. The results of the study found that for every use of 1 kg of raw coconut meat processed into VCO products, UMKM business actors received a profit of Rp. 19.771.71, meaning that from agricultural activities in processing VCO products, UMKM actors get a significant economic value added. The conclusions of this study are: 1). Analysis of the added value of the Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO) agroindustry in North Sulawesi, the output value is Rp. 31,428.57/liter, the added value generated is Rp. 21,428.57, - with a ratio of 68.18%, labor compensation work amounting to Rp 1,656.86/liter or 7.73%, and a profit margin of Rp 21,428.57/liter or 92.27%; 2). The factors that influence the added value are raw materials, product prices, labor coefficient, conversion factors and the average wage of labor.

Abstract

The Influence of Management and Role of Village-Owned Enterprises (Bumdes) on Improving the Economy of Paksebali Village, Dawan District, Klungkung Regency. Paksebali BUMDes is located in Paksebali Village, Dawan District, Klungkung Regency. BUMDes Paksebali has five business units consisting of waste management sites, tourist attractions, savings and loan units, village markets and clean water management. To maximize the performance of BUMDes, of course, it is necessary to know whether Paksebali BUMDes has a positive effect on improving the village economy. This study aims to analyze the characteristics of the Paksebali Village community and to analyze the influence of the management and role of BUMDes on improving the economy of Paksebali Village, Dawan District, Klungkung Regency. The analysis used in this research is descriptive and quantitative analysis using Partial Least Square (PLS). The characteristics of the Paksebali Village community are that the majority of them are of productive age and already have their own income, both working as private employees and entrepreneurs. The management and role of BUMDes has a significant effect on improving the economy of Paksebali Village which can be seen from the absorption of labor, ease of access to capital and an increase in village original income.

Abstract

Effect of Work Experience and Compensation on The Performance of LPD Desa Adat Mas Employees The success of the company is strongly influenced by the individual performance of its employees. Employee performance is important for every company as is LPD as a village-owned financial institution that supports village development. Employee performance is influenced by many factors including work experience and compensation. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of work experience and compensation on the performance of LPD Desa Adat Mas employees and to analyze the effect of work experience on the performance of LPD Desa Adat Mas employees through compensation. Respondents in this study were 34 respondents. Data collection methods used are observation, interviews, documentation, and questionnaires. The data analysis technique used is quantitative analysis with a Structural Equation Model (SEM) approach based on Partial Least Square (PLS). The results showed that work experience had no effect on the performance of LPD Desa Adat Mas employees, while compensation had an effect on the performance of LPD Desa Adat Mas employees. Work experience affects the performance of LPD Desa Adat Mas employees through compensation as a mediating variable. Compensation also fully mediates the effect of work experience on the performance of LPD Desa Adat Mas employees. Employee performance evaluation needs to be done regularly so that it can provide feedback to employees about the implementation of their work.

Abstract

Economic Analysis of Edelweis Park Agrotourism, in Besakih Village, Rendang Distric, Karangasem Regency Edelweis Park Agrotourism with Kasna flowers as a characteristic, was developed for the first time in Karangasem Regency and there has never been a study of the economic value, seen from the visits made by tourists, to estimate how much economic value is given by tourists. Research was conducted with the aim to determine the factors that affect the frequency of tourist visits and the economic value of Edelweis Park Agrotourism. The research location was determined purposively and determination of the sample using the accidental sampling method. Analysis of the factors that affect the frequency of tourist visit using multiple linear regression while the analysis of the economic value of using the cost method of travel that look a gain suplus consumers. The results showed that the factors that affect the frequency of visits to Edelweis Park Agrotourism are end of education and travel costs. The calculation of consumer surplus with the average number of tourist visits from 2018 to 2020, the economic value of Edelweis Park Agrotourism obtained is Rp. 20,034,738,305.00. Based on the results, expected that the manager to add and improvement facilities and able to join with travel agency to provide affordable travel packages for visitors.

Abstract

Income Contribution of VCO (Virgin Coconut Oil) Makers at KWT Bina Amerta to Household Income in Jembrana Regency, Bali The role and position of women in society begins with their position in the household, namely as a wife and housewife. But now a woman has started to participate in economic activities. The economic activity of the community that cannot be separated from the involvement of women is in the agricultural sector. Various productive activities in the agricultural sector began to be carried out by individuals and organizations such as the Women Farmers Group (KWT). One form of productive activity that has been carried out by KWT Bina Amerta in Jembrana Regency as an effort to utilize agricultural products and at the same time provide additional income is processing coconut into VCO. The large number of coconut plantations around the Bina Amerta KWT location is one of the reasons for the development of VCO processing. The research objectives are: 1) to analyze the income of KWT members who produce VCO in KWT Bina Amerta and 2) analyze the income contribution of KWT members who produce VCO at KWT Bina Amerta to household income. This study uses quantitative analysis methods. The sample used is KWT Bina Amerta members who are involved in VCO processing activities, namely 5 people. The results showed that: 1) the amount of net income earned by KWT members from VCO processing activities was IDR 40,000/day where in one month they usually produce for 15 days and in one year only produce effectively for 6 months so that the income earned by members is large. KWT from VCO processing activities for one year is IDR 3,600,000, 2) the income contribution of KWT members who produce VCO in KWT Bina Amerta to household income is 9%, which means the contribution given is still very low.

Abstract

The Level of Welfare of Fishermen's Families during the covid-19 pandemic in the Fishermen's Group "Astitining Segara" in Sanur Village, South Denpasar Subdistrict. Fishermen as a group that has role is important in development, especially in the fisheries sector. This is considering its direct involvement in the utilization of fishery resources. The purpose of this study is to analyze (1) the level of welfare of the fishing family (2) the income of the fishermen's family and (3) the constraints and efforts of fishermen. This research was conducted on the fishing group "Astitining Segara" in Sanur Village, South Denpasar Subdistrict. A sample of 33 members with saturated sampling method of the fishing group was analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. The results showed that the level of welfare of fishermen's families in the fishing group "Astitining Segara according to the criteria is 63,63% of fishing families classified into prosperous families and 36,36% of fishing families classified into families that are not prosperous. the income of fishing families derived from fishing (on fishing) Rp 2.704.769,00/month with a percentage of 95,16% of the income of traditional fishing families, and the income of traditional fishermen outside the fisheries sector (non fishing) was only Rp137.500,00/month with a percentage of 4,83%. The obstacles faced by fishermen are the lack of capital in purchasing fishing gear and weather. Efforts to meet capital to buy fishing gear are asking the Denpasar City Government for help, while fishermen's efforts to deal with weather instability usually wait in good condition. Fishermen are advised to borrow capital from cooperatives or village banks to purchase the fishing gear needed in the following periods.
