Abstract

The purpose of this study was to evaluate organic strawberry agribusiness in the East Bolaang Mongondow Regency by evaluating the dimensions of agribusiness players, the dimensions of agribusiness activity and the dimensions of behavior of organic strawberry agribusiness. The method used in this study was the survey method. The selection of the location of the study was done intentionally by determining the highland area in the East Bolaang Regency that cultivated strawberries. The area was the village of Mooat, Guaan Village, and New Bongkudai Village. This research begins in May to August 2018. The types of data used in this study were primary and secondary data. Data were analyzed using income analysis, added value, and were evaluated with an evaluation structure design adopted from the modified Hammond Evaluation Structure into agribusiness. The results of the study showed that agribusiness players consisting of key players had not made strawberries as commercial commodities while the tourism business of D’Mooat had made strawberries as a commercial commodity. The agricultural input activities were in the form of the use of the workforce of the community around the tourist area and the provision of production facilities, both purchased and made by themselves. The agricultural production activities had not fully utilized organic materials with an average production of 1,080 kg / year and the revenues of Rp.128,505,250/year for the area of 2,000 m2. The agricultural industry activities provided added value around of Rp. 57,000 / kg for strawberries and the average profit of Rp. 52,870 / kg through processing strawberries into strawberry juice, smoothie strawberry juice and dragon berry juice. Agricultural marketing activities were take place only in the tourist attractions area. The agricultural service activities were in the form of credit from Bank (BRI) while coordination with related agencies has not been established. The production technique behavior was good; the agribusiness management behavior was still in traditional way, whereas the agribusiness system behavior have not yet.

Abstract

The purpose of this research This research develops a management model of tourist destinations that integrates economic and ecological development based on the suitability of pay (WTP) of visitors with the willingness to accept (WTA) of the local community, which is supported by the role of business actors and the government. This research focuses on identifying existing economic and ecological conditions, analyzing and formulating alternative activities for economic and ecological improvement based on the willingness to pay (WTP) -willingness to accept (WTA) indicator. This research was conducted for 10 months from March to December 2018, in the tourist destination area of Pulisan Beach, North Minahasa Regency. The results of the study concluded that the willingness to pay (WTP) analysis tool to accept (WTA) can produce a choice of tourism activities and products that are desired by tourists and accepted by the local community with the support of the government and business actors. The choice of activities and products can ensure sustainable use of resources, by strengthening conservation principles. This instrument can be adapted for the management of other resources that confront economic interests, and preserve the environment and resources.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors that influence poverty levels in North Sulawesi. This research was conducted for three months from February to April 2018. The data used were secondary data obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics, North Sulawesi Province and also from local bookstores, the internet through Google Scholar, to access scientific journal articles and thesis from other universities related to factors that influence poverty levels. Data collected in this study using data from January 2005 to December 2016 and presented in table form are then described and analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the study show that the unemployment variable is a factor that significantly influences the level of poverty in North Sulawesi Province. While the level of education, the growth of Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) and inflation did not significantly influence the level of poverty.*ghmk+eprm*

Abstract

This study aims to look at the impact of Bukit Kasih tourism objects on the income of the people of Kanonang Dua Village who did business on the tourist attraction area. This research was carried out for 3 months from namely May to July 2018. The data used was primary data, through direct interviews with 30 respondents, namely those who run businesses in the Bukit Kasih Tourism Area. Secondary data obtained through the internet by using google searching to access scientific journal articles and thesis from other universities that relevant with the research. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. This study used an analysis of the average difference through the t-test, the impact was measured by comparing income before and after doing business in the tourism area. The results showed that there was a significant increase in income for the people who doing business at the Bukit Kasih Tourism Area. The average income of the community before doing business in the tourist area was Rp. 883,333 per month and increased to Rp. 2,390,000 per month after doing business in the Bukit Kasih Tourism Area. This means that the average income increases by 1.506.667,00,- *ghmk+eprm*

Abstract

This study aims to find out: 1) The amount of average income of coconut farmers per quarter, 2) The amount of contribution of coconut farming to family income per quarter. Data collection in this study was conducted from October to November 2018 in Klabat Village, Dimembe District, North Minahasa Regency. The method used is the survey method, using primary data and secondary data. Primary data was obtained through direct interviews with 25 coconut farmers and one person from the Klabat Village based on a list of questions that had been prepared previously. Secondary data in this study were sourced from local bookstores, and the internet through Google Scholar to access articles from various scientificjournals and theses from Sam Ratulangi University and other universities related to the contribution of coconut farming to family income. The data obtained were analyzed using contribution analysis and using descriptive analysis presented in table form. The results showed that the amount of income received by coconut farmers was Rp. 1,837,320. While the contribution of coconut farming to household income is 27.45%. This means that coconut farming provides a moderate contribution and cannot be used as the main source of household income in Klabat Village.*eprm*

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the income of leek farming. This research was conducted in Sinsingon Village, Passi Timur District, Bolaang Mongondow Regency. This research lasted for 3 months from November 2018 to January 2019. Sampling in this study was carried out by simple random sampling, as many as 30 farmers. Primary data collection used in this study using survey methods by means of direct interviews with the help of questionnaires. Secondary data were obtained by the Sinsingon Village office. Analysis of the data used in this research is descriptive analysis and is presented in tabular form. To see the level of economic benefits of scallions will be used analysis of revenue, costs, income, then proceed with the analysis of the return cost ratio. The results showed that the the average revenue of leek farming per farmer is Rp. 24,400,020 per planting season and the total average cost per farmer is Rp. 11,229,083, resulting in an average income per farmer of Rp. 13,170,937 per growing sesion. The R / C was 2.17 which that the onion farming in Sinsingon Village, Passi Timur District was profitable.*eprm

Abstract

This study aims to determine the contribution of the agricultural sector to the economy in Minahasa Regency for the 2014-2018 period. This research was conducted from March to May 2020. The data collection method used secondary data, which was sourced from the Central Statistics Agency of Minahasa Regency, and other sources such as mass media, journals, and other literature that related to this research topic. The variable measured in this study is the Gross Regional Domestic Product (PDRB) of Minahasa Regency at Constant Prices (ADHK) in 2014-2018. Data analysis used descriptive analysis method by making tables and percentages to explain the contribution of the agricultural sector to the economy in Minahasa Regency for the 2014-2018 period. The results showed that the contribution of the agricultural sector to the economy of Minahasa Regency from 2014 to 2018 continued to decline, with an average decline of 0.60% per year. However, the agricultural sector is still the largest contributor to the economy of Minahasa District.*eprm*

Abstract

North Bolaang Mongondow  Regency is one of the regencies in North Sulawesi Province which relies on coconut as one of its leading commodities. This study aimed to analyze the contribution of coconut farming to the economy of the North Bolaang Mongondow Regency. This study used secondary data obtained from the Statistics Indonesia (BPS) local office and other related agencies. The analysis used in this study was Location Quotient (LQ) analysis and Shift Share analysis. Based on the analysis, it was found that the Agriculture Sector, Plantation Sub-Sector and Coconut Commodities were among the basic sectors in North Bolaang Mongondow  Regency, so that they could contribute to drive the regional economy.  However, the coconut commodity still had low competitiveness due to the low and fluctuating prices.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the contribution of income of the Berkah Cone business workers to their family income. This research was conducted for 3 months, starting from January to March 2020. The data used in this study were primary and secondary data. Primary data were obtained from direct interviews with Berkah Cone business workers and Berkah Cone business owners. Secondary data were obtained from monographs of Sumompo Sub-district and literature related to research. The sampling method used was a census to all workers consisted of 12 people. The results of this study indicated that the income of the Berkah Cone business workers has a 69.75% contribution to the family income. The value of 69.75% according to the contribution assessment criteria belongs to the very large category (> 50%). This means that the income earned by workers in the Blessing Cone business greatly helped their families and themselves in fulfilling theirdaily needs and making a real contribution to the family income.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there are differences in productivity and income of lowland rice farming with irrigation systems in the upstream and downstream irrigation systems. This research was conducted from May to August 2019. The sample determination was carried out by simple random sampling. This research used qualitative and quantitative analysis, the resulting data is analyzed using the average difference test (t test). The results of the research were: (1) The average income obtained by lowland rice farmers was 11,737,459 per hectare, the average income obtained by downstream rice farmers was 7,315,001 per hectare. From the results of data processing with the t-test gives a p-value of 0.005. So at α = 0.05 H0 is rejected. (2) The average production obtained by lowland rice farmers in the upstream section is 2,235 per hectare, the average production obtained by downstream rice farmers is 2,054 per production. The results of data processing with the t-test gave a p-value of 0.004. So at α = 0.05 H0 is rejected. From the research results, it can be concluded that the income and productivity of lowland rice farming in the upstream part is higher than that of lowland rice farming.
