This research was conducted for 3 months, from November 2021 to January 2022. The data used in this study were primary data and secondary data. The sample was selected using a proportional stratified random sampling method (Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling). The population was divided into three strata based on the area of land planted with lowland rice, namely strata I (land area 1 Ha), Strata II (land area 1-2 Ha) and strata III (land area 2 Ha). The number of samples is 30 people from 116 farmer population. The results of this study indicate that the income of lowland rice farming per hectare at strata I, II, and III respectively is Rp. 6,029,865, Rp. 6,241,915, and Rp. 6,257,939. Abstract

ABSTRACTThe objective of this research is to determine the possibility of inputsubstitution organic fertilizer and inorganic fertilizer by measuring MRTS(marginal rate of technical subtitution) Cabbage crop production in RurkanVillage East Tomohon Subdistrict. The method used in this study is surveymethod. This study uses primary data and secondary data, which primary dataobtained through in-depth interviews with 6 cabbage farmers who have switchedto organic fertilizer and 14 farmers who are still in the process of transition to useorganic fertilizers, so the total number of samples in this study is 20 cabbagefarmers, while the secondary is obtained from the Rurukan Village Office.Sampling method used in this research is purposive sampling.Data analysis methods used in this research is by using the model ofexponential cobb-douglas and proceed with the analysis of MRTS (Marginal Rateof Technical Subtitution) to measure the reduction of the quantity of one input byone additional unit of input quantity, in such a way that still produces the sameoutput level. The results are presented descriptively by using tables and verbaldescriptions. The result of research showed that of the five input variables taken turns at α= 5%, only organic fertilizer and inorganic fertilizers that had a significant effectin cabbage production. While the addition of land, seed, pesticides and labor hadno significant effect for the addition of cabbage production. The MRTS value was1,96 means that it is reguired 1,96 unit of organic fertilizers to substitute 1 unit ofinorganic fertilizers.2

Abstract

ABSTRACTRice production of North Sulawesi province in recent years has increased , but it can not compensate for the increase in demand for rice due to the increase in population and per capita consumption of rice. Therefore, until now North Sulawesi is still a deficit-rice region and this2affects the achievement of self-sufficiency in rice. The objective of research is to determine the conditions of production and the needs of current and projected rice production and rice needs in period 2012-2030 . The data used in this study is time series data from 1996 to 2011. Population growth , crop area , production and productivity . are analyzed descriptively using the table , the tool used in data processing program is Microsoft Excel 2007 .The result of the research showed that development of production and demand for rice in North Sulawesi fluctuated from year to year tend to increase very year . During the 16th -year period of North Sulawesi still could not cover the needs of rice .projection and production and need for rice in North Sulawesi at the average population growth of 1.42 percent per year during the 2012-2030 was deficit .the average population growth of 1.28 percent per year in 2012-2020 North Sulawesi is still in deficit despite the declining rice and this area will be self-sufficient in rice in 2025-2030. The result of regression analysis from the formula Y = 4,0 + 34,9 X1 – 6,87 X2 + 0,0004 X3 + 5,32 X4.Effect of land to nutmeg production (X1) was 34,9 of means that the increase of one unit of land will be followed by the increase of 34,9 unit of production. The effect of labor to nutmeg production (X2) was – 6,87 means that the increase of one unit of labor will be followed by the decrease of 6,87 unit of nutmeg production. The effect of capital to nutmeg production (X3) was 0,00004 means that the increase of one unit of capital will be followed by the increase of 0,0004 unit of production. The effect of farmer behavior to nutmeg production (X4) was 5,34 means that the increase of one unit of farmer behavior will be followed by the increase of 5,34 unit production
