Abstract

Guru dan kepala sekolah perlu memiliki kompetensi penulisan artikel ilmiah. Kemampuan penulisan artikel ilmiah berdampak pada pengembangan profesi dan karier. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan guru dan kepala dalam menulis artikel penelitian tindakan kelas dan sekolah. Peserta pelatihan adalah guru dan kepala sekolah. Kegiatan pelatihan dilaksanakan dalam bentuk daring. Materi pelatihan menitiberatkan pada penentuan topik, penulisan pendahuluan, metode, hasil dan pembahasan dan kesimpulan. Hasil pengabdian kepada masyarakat melalui pelatihan penulisan artikel penelitian tindakan menunjukkan bahwa aspek materi, fasilitas, metode, fasilitator, dan layanan administrasi mendapatkan apresiasi dari peserta dengan tingkat kepuasan sangat baik. Peserta mengalami peningkatan pengetahuan dengan nilai pretest berada pada angka 74 dan postest berada angka sebesar 80.

Abstract

One of the objectives of national education is to prepare character education activities in the form of forming character and character for the next generation of the nation. At the vocational high school level, it does not only focus on building good character but also the character needed in the world of work. This study aims to develop a work character-based Strengthening Character Education program module that can improve the work character of vocational high school students. The type of research conducted is research and development (Research and Development) using the integration of the ADDIE model with Borg and Gall. Data collection techniques used are documentation studies, questionnaires, and interviews. Analysis of research and development data results using mixed methods with a concurrent mixed methods. Qualitative data analysis used the Miles and Huberman model while quantitative data analysis used quantitative descriptive techniques with percentages and mean. This research resulted in a work character-based strengthening character education module in Vocational High Schools. Based on field trials, it shows that the strengthening character education module is based on work character, with the trial results having a score of 85% in the valid category and can be used without revision. It is hoped that SMK teachers can utilize the module in implementing strengthening character education so that they can improve the quality of graduates, especially work character.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan supervisi akademik dan perbedaan implementasi supervisi akademik saat pembelajaran luring dan daring yang dilaksanakan di Sekolah Karangturi, Kota Semarang, Jawa Tengah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif meliputi pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian model data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Implementasi supervisi akademik saat pembelajaran luring menggunakan model Performance Appraisal (PA). Sedangkan saat daring, proses implementasi supervisi akademik mengalami pergeseran cara dengan melibatkan teknologi komunikasi. Dengan demikian peneliti dapat membedakan kedua hasil tersebut bahwa terdapat perbedaan implementasi supervisi akademik saat pembelajaran luring dan daring di Sekolah Karangturi, antara lain: penyederhanaan aspek penilaian, pergeseran sasaran supervisi, durasi waktu pelaksanaan, proses perencanaan yang melibatkan penggunaan teknologi komunikasi, proses pelaksanaan yang disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan di Sekolah Karangturi, dan belum adanya umpan balik supervisi akademik saat pembelajaran daring.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the use of Google Classroom as a learning tool at Satya Wacana Christian Elementary School, those are; (1) whether the existence of ICT helps in teaching, (2) how effective and interactive the use of Google Classroom is as a learning tool, (3) what features are often used, (4) explain the advantages of Google Classroom, and (5) the obstacles faced when using Google Classroom as a learning tool at Satya Wacana Christian Elementary School. This research used a qualitative descriptive method by conducting interviews and distributing questionnaires. The research subjects are 12 teachers at Satya Wacana Christian Elementary School. Based on the results of observations, interviews, and questionnaires, it was found that 100% of teachers felt that ICT was very helpful in teaching, 83.3% of teachers stated that the use, interaction, and assessment in Google Classroom were considered effective in their implementation, 100% of teachers often used Google Forms, the rest were Google Docs. , Slides, and Spreadsheets, 83.3% of respondents stated that GC is easy to use, 66.6% said GC’ features are complete, and 50% of respondents stated that GC is more effective and flexible. The obstacles that are often faced when using GC are the lack of stability of the internet network, there are still students who do not have their own gadget/computer/laptop facilities, charging grades that are still not appropriate, and limited video transmission capacity.

Abstract

Teknologi informasi dibutuhkan dalam dunia pendidikan untuk peningkatan kualitas dalam pendidikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penggunaan teknologi informasi dalam pelaksnaan pembelajaran di SMP Negeri 1 Bancak. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan menggunakan teknik wawancara, studi dokumentasi dan observasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Analisis data dari Miles dan Huberman dengan langkah data reduction, data display, dan conclusion drawing/ verfication. Uji keabsahan data dalam penelitian ini dengan menggunakan triangulasi sumber. SMP Negeri 1 Bancak menggunakan teknologi dalam pembelajaran daring dengan platform Quipper School, Google Classroom, Zoom Meeting, Google Meet, dan whatsapp. Sebelum penggunaan aplikasi tersebut dilakukan workshop dalam penggunaan platform tersebut. kendala yang muncul dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran daring adalah Quipper School masih memiliki kekurangan sehingga guru melengkapi dengan penggunaan Google Classroom. Kendala yang lain adalah tidak semua peserta didik memiliki gawai, membutuhkan kuota data yang banyak dan kendala pada provider jaringan yaitu jaringan kurang merata di lingkungan Kecamatan Bancak. Kendala lain yaitu peserta didik tidak mengikuti pembelajaran yang kemudian ditindaklanjuti dengan home visit oleh guru BK serta wali kelas

Abstract

The management of the guidance and counseling program is an integral part of education services in schools which will influence the success of counseling services. The implementation of guidance and counseling management in schools has yet to be carried out as it should be because of the obstacles that guidance and counseling teachers face. This research aims to develop a guidance and counseling management model based on Google Workspace. This type of research is research and development (Research and Development) using the Borg and Gall model. The research subjects consisted of two media experts, two material experts, and six guidance and counseling teachers as practitioners. Data collection techniques were carried out using closed and open questionnaire instruments. Data analysis techniques use mixed methods (Mixed Methods) with a mixed combination model (Concurrent Mixed Methods). Qualitative data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model quantitative data were analyzed using quantitative descriptive techniques with mean and percentage. The results of the validity analysis and product trials are very good. Based on the results of this analysis, the guidance and counseling management model based on Google Workspace is feasible and effective for use in carrying out guidance and counseling management in schools. They were expected that counseling teachers could consistently take advantage of following the steps that have been made so that the effectiveness of the guidance and counseling services provided can be further increased.

Abstract

Effective management of the School Literacy Movement (GLS) can create a literate culture of school members and improve students' literacy skills. However, in reality, the implementation of GLS in schools cannot be carried out according to the objectives of GLS because of the obstacles faced by teachers. One of them is that teachers do not understand the stages and technical implementation of GLS well. This development research aims to develop a Google Classroom-based GLS management training module for junior high school teachers. This type of research is Research and Development (RND) research using the ADDIE model approach. The subjects in this study consisted of material expert validators, ICT experts, principals and teachers. Data collection techniques were carried out using interviews, observations, documentation studies, questionnaires and tests. Data analysis techniques were carried out using mixed methods. Qualitative data was analyzed using the Milles and Huberman model and quantitative data was analyzed using descriptive quantitative and T-test. The product of this research is the Google Classroom-based literacy training E-module. The results of product testing by expert validation and prospective users in the module product trial were in the category of feasible and effective for use in GLS management training. Through this training module, it is expected that teachers can learn and utilize it as a guide in carrying out GLS activities that are more varied and have an impact on improving students' literacy competencies.

Abstract

One strategy for increasing a teacher's pedagogical competence is through academic supervision. However, its implementation has experienced many obstacles, so it has yet to improve teachers' pedagogical competence successfully. This research aims to develop a new design for interactive academic supervision using the waterfall method to improve teacher pedagogical competence. This type of research is Research and Development (R&D) using the ADDIE model with a Mixed Method (sequential exploratory) approach. Research subjects included school principals, deputy principals for curriculum, and teachers. Data collection techniques were done through interviews, documentation studies, observation, FDG, and questionnaires. The data collection instrument is a questionnaire. The data analysis techniques used in this research are qualitative descriptive analysis and quantitative descriptive analysis. The research results produce a waterfall-based academic supervision model and guide called SUPER WATER. Product validation results by supervision experts were 88%, and IT experts were 94% in the very high category. The test results by the principal were 91%, and five teachers were 91%. It was concluded that this product is suitable for use. This research implies that Waterfall is an alternative technology that can be used to overcome problems that arise at this time.

Abstract

In this scientific writing, the researcher specifically examines the policy process ini education using Edward III theory to evaluate educational operational costs through communication and information obtained from the school principal as the person in charge and the treasurer as the manager of the BOP funds. The aim is to find out the concept of managing BOP funds through Edward III theoretical policy that BOP is assistance in the from of money provided by the government to support the implementation of a quality education process. The method used to obtain research result is through the use of descriptif qualitative research through interviews and observation. So the research result prove that policies in distributing BOP funds must include implementation planning management implementation and accountability evaluation.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the leadership of teachers that has been taking place in schools, identify the weaknesses in teachers' educational leadership, and develop a self-learning module on competence-based education leadership to enhance teachers' personal competencies. The research method used a Mixed Method (Sequential) approach with a research and development (R&D) design based on Sugiyono's model integrated with the ADDIE model, consisting of the following five stages: 1) analysis; 2) design; 3) development; 4) implementation; and 5) evaluation. This study was conducted in three public elementary schools in the city of Soe. The research and development period started from July 2022 to May 2023. The research subjects consisted of 15 teachers from three different elementary schools: SD Inpres Oeusapi, SD Inpres Sonapolen, and SD Inpres Tubuhue. The research findings indicate that the educational leadership of teachers in schools is very low, where teachers demonstrate a lack of personality as leaders in the school, lack discipline in terms of time and responsibilities, tend to be individualistic, and have poor communication with fellow teachers. There are weaknesses in educational leadership, as teachers have a lack of knowledge about educational leadership, as evidenced by the absence of books or modules on teacher leadership in the school. Additionally, teachers have insufficient coordination skills with fellow teachers and students, as well as a lack of training on educational leadership in schools. The development of the self-learning module received high validation results from content experts (89.7%), module experts (85.19%), and a questionnaire response from 15 teachers (86.33%).
