Abstract

This research is motivated by the problem of children having learning difficulties in the academic field that is about the value of place units, tens, and hundreds. The researchers found problems at SD N 22 Payakumbuh. The subjects of this study were children who had difficulty learning female sex who were sitting in class III. The purpose of this study is to improve the ability to recognize the value of places through the UNO Stacko game for children with learning difficulties. This study uses the Single Subject Research (SSR) method with A-B-A design. To measure and collect data in baseline I (A1) conditions until stable data is conducted for five meetings. Furthermore, providing intervention conditions (B) through the Stacko UNO game is conducted for eight meetings until the data is stable. Provide baseline conditions II (A2) for three meetings that aim to see if there is an influence of the intervention given to the child. The results of this study are the Stacko UNO game can improve children's ability to recognize place values that can be proven by overlapping percentages, ie baseline I (A1): intervention (B) is 0% and intervention (B): baseline II (A2) 37.5% . From these data it can be concluded that the Stacko UNO game is effective in increasing the ability to recognize the value of places where children have difficulty learning.

Abstract

Kualitas air yang buruk seperti oksigen terlarut, pH, salinitas, amonia, nitrit, nitrat, dan suhu air yang melebihi kisaran optimum normal dapat berdampak buruk pada proses fisiologis dan struktur organ seperti hepatopankreas pada ikan. Aerasi dan filtrasi pada pemeliharaan ikan dapat meningkatkan kualitas air, selanjutnya akan berdampak pada peningkatan fungsi hepatopankreas pada ikan nila merah (Oreochromis niloticus). Penelitian ini menganalisis penggunaan aerator dan filter dalam untuk menjaga kualitas air. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan faktorial terdiri dari dua faktor perlakuan yaitu aerasi dan filtrasi. Perlakuan aerasi menggunakan aerator tunggal dan ganda, filtrasi menggunakan filter dan tanpa filter. Hewan coba yang digunakan 24 ikan nila merah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa interaksi antara aerator dan filter berpengaruh nyata (P<0,05) terhadap Indeks Hepatosomatik (HSI), diameter hepatosit, diameter asinar pankreas, dan diameter pulau Langerhans. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah kombinasi aerator dan filter dapat menjaga kualitas fisik dan kimia air sehingga tidak berdampak negatif terhadap struktur histologis hepatopankreas. Poor water quality such as dissolved oxygen, pH, salinity, ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and water temperature that exceeds the normal optimum range can have a negative impact on physiological processes and organ structures such as the hepatopancreas in fish. Aeration and filtration in fish farming can improve water quality, which will then have an impact on improving hepatopancreatic function in red tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus). This research analyzes the use of aerators and internal filters to maintain water quality. This research uses a factorial design consisting of two treatment factors, namely aeration and filtration. Aeration treatment using single and double aerators, filtration using filters and without filters. The experimental animals used were 24 red tilapia fish. The results showed that the interaction between the aerator and filter had a significant effect (P<0.05) on the Hepatosomatic Index (HSI), hepatocyte diameter, pancreatic acinar diameter, and islet of Langerhans diameter. The conclusion of this research is that the combination of aerators and filters can maintain the physical and chemical quality of water so that it does not have a negative impact on the histological structure of the hepatopancreas.

Abstract

Rusa timor merupakan rusa endemik Indonesia dengan status konservasi rentan, sehingga perlu dilakukan upaya untuk meningkatkan populasi melalui penangkaran. Pakan merupakan salah satu komponen penting yang harus dipenuhi di dalam penangkaran. Pemberian pakan secara drop in oleh keeper di penangkaran dapat mempengaruhi perilaku makan rusa timor. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perilaku makan rusa timor betina yang meliputi aktivitas memilih pakan, mengambil dan memasukkan pakan, mengunyah, menelan, dan memamah biak pada pagi, siang, dan sore hari di area penangkaran ex-situ CV Bahtera Satwa Dawe Kudus, Jawa Tengah. Penelitian ini dilakukan selama 7 hari menggunakan metode scan scampling dan pengamatan dilakukan selama 12 jam dengan interval waktu 10 menit. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya perbedaan yang nyata (p<0,05) pada perilaku mengambil, memasukkan pakan, dan memamah biak pada pagi, siang, dan sore hari. Frekuensi dan durasi mengunyah paling tinggi diantara perilaku makan lainnya. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah rusa timor betina di area penangkaran ex situ masih memperlihatkan ekspresi perilaku makan secara alami dan aktivitas memamah biak dilakukan lebih lama pada siang hari untuk mengoptimalkan digestibilitas hijauan pakan.   The Timor deer is an endemic deer species in Indonesia with a vulnerable status; hence, captive breeding is necessary to increase the deer population. Timor deer feeding behaviour may be influenced by the food that keeper’s drop-in to the caged areas. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the feeding behavior of female Timor deer, which included activities such as selecting feed, picking up and putting down, chewing, swallowing, and ruminating in the morning, afternoon, and evening in the ex-situ captive area of CV Bahtera Satwa Dawe Kudus, Central Java. This research was carried out using the scan sampling method over a period of seven days. The research results revealed a significant difference (p<0.05) in the behaviors of picking up feed, inserting, and ruminating in the morning, afternoon, and evening. The frequency and duration of chewing were the highest among other feeding behaviors. The conclusion of this study was that female Timor deer in the ex situ captive areas still exhibit natural feeding behavior, and rumination activity was carried out for a longer duration during the day to optimize the digestibility of forage.

Abstract

Broilers (Gallus domesticus) are prone to stress and immune suppression due to inadequate environmental conditions and feed quality. Spirulina, known for its antioxidant and immunostimulant properties, and liquid nano chitosan, which has antibacterial activity, are considered promising feed additives for broiler health. This study aimed to evaluate the effects of Spirulina flour, liquid nano chitosan, and their interaction on broiler leukocyte profiles. A factorial completely randomized design was used, with six treatment groups and four replications. Treatments included a control and diets supplemented with 0; 3; or 6% Spirulina powder, combined with 0 or 5% liquid nanochitosan. The treatments were applied for 26 days. Leukocyte observations were performed using Giemsa-stained blood smears at 400× magnification. Data were analyzed using Two-Way ANOVA (α= 0.05) and the Friedman Test. Results showed normal leukocyte morphology. Spirulina supplementation had no significant effect (P >0.05) on leukocyte, heterophil, or lymphocyte counts. In contrast, 5% liquid nano chitosan significantly affected (P <0.05) leukocyte and lymphocyte numbers. No interaction between the two additives was observed. In conclusion, Spirulina (3–6%) showed potential as a feed additive, while 5% liquid nano chitosan reduced leukocyte and lymphocyte counts. These natural additives may support broiler health without altering leukocyte profiles.

Abstract

Feeding hybrid ducks with low nutritional quality may cause growth and health disorders, such as changes in the kidney structure and erythrogram. Moringa leaf meal contained antioxidants and nutrients that had the potential to be used as a feed supplement to support the growth and health of hybrid ducks. The aim of this study was to evaluate feed inclusion of moringa leaf meal on the kidney structure and erythrogram of hybrid ducks. This study used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of 4 treatments, including K0 (feed without moringa leaf meal), K1, K2, and K3 were feed treatments with the addition of 2.5%, 5%, and 7.5% moringa leaf meal, respectively, each repeated 6 times. The measured variables of kidney structure included renal corpuscle diameter, renal corpuscle density, proximal tubule diameter, and distal tubule diameter. Erythrogram variables included erythrocytes, hemoglobin, hematocrit, MCV, MCH, and MCHC. Data were tested and analyzed using ANOVA with a 5% significance level. The study results showed that moringa leaf meal supplements had no effect   (P > 0.05) on the kidney microstructure and erythrogram of hybrid ducks. The conclusion of this study was that moringa leaf meal supplements had the potential to maintain kidney structure and erythrogram, thus ensuring the healthy physiological status of ducks.

Abstract

Doksisiklin merupakan antibiotik yang digunakan untuk mengatasi infeksi. Doksisiklin dengan dosis berlebih dapat menimbulkan radikal bebas yang mampu menyebabkan toksik bagi tubuh. Bunga telang (Clitoria ternatea L.) merupakan tanaman yang mengandung senyawa antioksidan, seperti flavonoid, antosianin, asam fenolik, prosianidin, dan flavonol glikosida. Antioksidan yang terkandung di dalam bunga telang berfungsi dalam menetralisir radikal bebas dalam tubuh. Tujuan dari penelitian ini, yaitu menganalisis histomorfometri ginjal tikus putih (Rattus norvegicus L.) strain Sprague Dawley setelah pemberian doksisiklin dan ekstrak etanol bunga telang (Clitoria ternatea L.). Tikus diaklimatisasi selama 1 minggu dan diberi perlakuan selama 2 minggu. Kelompok perlakuan yang diujikan pada penelitian ini, yaitu P0 (1 mL aquades), P1 (1 mL larutan doksisiklin), P2 (1 mL larutan ekstrak etanol bunga telang), P3 (1 mL larutan doksisiklin dan 1 mL larutan ekstrak etanol bunga telang). Hasil uji ANOVA satu arah menunjukkan bahwa hasil berbeda tidak nyata (P>0,05) terhadap diameter glomerulus, jarak ruang kapsula Bowman, tebal epitel tubulus kontortus distal, tebal epitel tubulus kontortus proksimal, bobot ginjal, dan konsumsi air minum pada tikus setelah perlakuan. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini, yaitu pemberian doksisiklin dan ekstrak etanol bunga telang tidak memberikan dampak negatif pada struktur histologi ginjal tikus putih.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas membahas tentang sintaksis yang terdapat pada tajuk surat kabar Solo Pos edisi 3-9 April 2021. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguraikan beberapa sintaksis yang ada pada tajuk surat kabar kabar Solo Pos. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitaif dengan teknik membaca dan catat. Pada tajuk surat kabar Solo Pos edisi 3-9 April 2021 terdapat 11 kesalahan kalimat tidak hemat, 7 kalimat tidak padu, dan 6 kalimat tidak cermat. Kemudian kesalahan kalimat tidak berpredikat ada 2 dan penggunaan istilah asing 4. Hal ini terjadi karena penulis kurang memahami kaidah-kaidah bahasa Indonesia dengan terutama bidang sintaksis.

Abstract

Itik peking merupakan itik pedaging yang banyak dibudidayakan di Indonesia. Pemberian pakan dalam pemeliharaan itik di peternakan itik rakyat masih banyak yang belum memenuhi standar kebutuhan nutrien itik. Suplemen pakan dapat menjadi upaya pemenuhan nutrien pakan pada itik. Tepung spirulina merupakan bahan pakan yang dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai suplemen. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis tepung spirulina sebagai suplemen pakan terhadap profil eritrogram itik peking. Itik dibagi menjadi 5 kelompok perlakuan, yaitu P0 (kontrol negatif), P1 (penambahan 2,5% tepung spirulina), P2 (penambahan 5% tepung spirulina), P3 (penambahan 7,5% tepung spirulina), dan P4 (penambahan 10% tepung spirulina). Data profil eritrogram dianalisis menggunakan uji One-Way Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) pada taraf kepercayaan 95%. Hasil analisis data pada parameter jumlah eritrosit, hemoglobin, hematokrit, mean corpuscular volume (MCV), mean corpuscular haemoglobin (MCH), dan mean corpuscular haemoglobin concentration (MCHC) menunjukkan berbeda tidak nyata (P>0,05). Nilai eritrosit, hemoglobin, hematokrit, MCV, MCH, dan MCHC pada kontrol, secara berurutan adalah 2,33 juta/mL; 12,10 g/dL; 37,94%; 162,54 fL; 52,01 pg; dan 32,01 g/dL, sedangkan pada perlakuan P1, P2, P3, dan P4 nilai dari kelima variabel tersebut, secara berurutan berkisar antara 2,36-2,56 juta/mL; 11,94-12,64 g/dL; 38,40-43,60%; 162,11-171,35 fL; 49,44-52,72 pg; dan 29,29-31,47 g/dL. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah tepung spirulina sebagai suplemen pakan tidak meningkatkan jumlah eritrosit, hemoglobin, hematokrit, MCV, MCH, dan MCHC pada itik peking.  Peking ducks are a type of meat duck widely farmed in Indonesia. In duck farming, especially in smallholder farms, the feed provided often does not meet the nutritional standards required for optimal growth. Feed supplements can be an effective way to address nutrient deficiencies in duck diets. Spirulina flour is a feed ingredient that can be used as a supplement. This study aims to analyze the effects of spirulina flour as a feed supplement on the erythrogram profile of Peking ducks. The ducks were divided into five treatment groups: P0 (negative control), P1 (2.5% spirulina flour), P2 (5% spirulina flour), P3 (7.5% spirulina flour), and P4 (10% spirulina flour). Erythrogram profile data were analyzed using a One-Way Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) at a 95% confidence level. The results showed no significant differences (P>0.05) in the erythrocyte count, hemoglobin, hematocrit, mean corpuscular volume (MCV), mean corpuscular haemoglobin (MCH), and mean corpuscular haemoglobin concentration MCHC variables. The values of erythrocytes, hemoglobin, hematocrit, MCV, MCH, and MCHC in the control group were 2.33 million/μL; 12.10 g/dL; 37.94%; 162.54 fL; 52.01 pg; and 32.01 g/dL, respectively. Meanwhile, in the treatment groups P1, P2, P3, and P4, the values of these six variables ranged sequentially from 2.36–2.56 million/μL; 11.94–12.64 g/dL; 38.40–43.60%; 162.11–171.35 fL; 49.44–52.72 pg; and 29.29–31.47 g/dL.The conclusion of this study is that spirulina flour as a feed supplement does not improve erythrocyte count, hemoglobin, hematocrit, MCV, MCH, or MCHC in Peking ducks.

Abstract

Jantung dan aorta merupakan organ penting dalam sistem sirkulasi. Penelitian ini dirancang dengan tujuan menganalisis histomorfometri jantung dan aorta itik hibrida yang diberi imbuhan pakan tepung daun kelor. Itik yang digunakan adalah itik hibrida jantan berjumlah tiga puluh dua ekor dibagi ke dalam empat jenis perlakuan, yaitu K0: Pakan standar (pakan tanpa imbuhan tepung daun kelor), K1: pakan dengan imbuhan tepung daun kelor 2,5%, K2: pakan dengan imbuhan tepung daun kelor 5%, dan K3: pakan dengan imbuhan tepung daun kelor 7,5%. Masing-masing perlakuan terdiri atas delapan ekor itik. Imbuhan pakan diberikan selama enam minggu. Histomorfometri jantung dan aorta diperoleh dengan pembuatan preparat histologi metode parafin dan pewarnaan hematoksilin eosin. Data penelitian dianalisis menggunakan analisis sidik ragam dengan software SPSS versi 26. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan imbuhan pakan tepung daun kelor tidak berpengaruh (P>0,05) terhadap bobot jantung, tebal epikardium, miokardium, endokardium, tebal tunika adventisia, tunika media, dan tunika intima. Kesimpulan dari penelitian bahwa pemberian imbuhan tepung daun kelor konsentrasi 2,5%, 5%, dan 7,5% tidak mengubah struktur histologi jantung maupun aorta sehingga aman dipergunakan sebagai aditif pakan itik. The heart and aorta are important organs in the circulatory system. This study was designed to analyze the histomorphometry of the heart and aorta of hybrid ducks given feed supplemented with moringa leaf powder. The conclusion of the study is that the addition of moringa leaf powder at concentrations of 2.5%, 5%, and 7.5% did not alter the histological structure of the heart or aorta, making it applicable as a duck feed additive. Additionally, the findings suggest that moringa leaf powder is a safe option for enhancing the nutritional profile of duck feed without compromising cardiovascular health.

Abstract

TPA Kebon Kongok is one of the Final Processing Sites in Indonesia that uses a sanitary landfill system. The limited availability of land and the increasing height of the waste pile that has been dumped during the TPA operation period and the discovery of leachate puddles at several points in the TPA area are problems that need to be addressed immediately so as not to disturb the environmental ecosystem and society. The purpose of this research is to determine the depth of leachate pollution in the subsurface and map the leachate distribution pattern around the TPA Kebon Kongok area. This research was conducted using the resistivity geoelectric method with a 2-D Wenner configuration in 10 lines and the Self Potential (SP) method with an area 132,732 m² and 138 data point. Based on data analysis, it is found that the layer indicated as leachate has a resistivity value of 0.143-4.71 Ωm. Based on the results of the SP analysis, it is known that the accumulated leachate streams are interpreted to have relatively lower self-potential values with anomalous values of -100 mV to -40 mV. Low potential values were found in the northwest to southeast of the study site, while relatively high potential values were found in the southern part of the study site. The direction of leachate distribution in various directions is due to the fact that the study area has different elevations and the subsurface layer is composed of layers that easily drain liquids, which are indicated as sand layers. This research is expected to be a consideration for the management of TPA Kebon Kongok in taking mitigation steps from leachate pollution.
