Abstract

Kegiatan pelaksanaan pengabdian kepada masyarakat bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat pemahaman masyarakat terhadap teknik budidaya hortikultura. Melalui budidaya tanaman hortikultura merupakan langkah awal untuk merangsang tumbuhnya semangat partisipasi masyarakat tentang pentingnya peningkatan budidaya tanaman hortikultura. Pentingnya melaksanakan budidaya tanaman karena masyarakat pada dasarnya belum mengetahui cara-cara budidaya tanaman secara baik dan benar, belum menerapkan pembenihan tanaman secara baik dan benar, belum mengetahui cara pengapuran dan pemupukan secara tepat, belum mengetahui pembuatan pupuk organik cair, dan lain sebagainya. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini berlokasi di distrik Sausapor. Adapun sasaran pada program ini sebanyak 10 orang masyarakat sausapor yang dilaksanakan di bulan oktober 2022.  Distrik Sausapor memiliki luas wilayah 10,28 km2 dengan jumlah penduduk 2856 jiwa. Kondisi geografis dan topografis wilayah dicirikan berdasarkan kawasan hutan yang sangat luas dengan proporsi hutan konservasi serta hutan lindung mencapai 80 %. Metode pelaksanaan yang akan digunakan diantaranya sosialisasi, pemberian metode diskusi, ceramah, penyuluhan, bimbingan teknis dan pendampingan secara terjadwal. Adapun tahapan kegiatan meliputi sosialisasi kegiatan, pengembangan dan pendampingan digitalisasi pertanian meliputi pengolahan lahan, pembenihan, penyemaian, penanaman dan pemupukan. Hasil pelaksanaan kegiatan menjelaskan bahwa tingkat pengetahuan dan keterampilan mitra terhadap teknik budidaya tanaman mengalami peningkatan sebesar 74,85 % dari 34,29 % (64-75 %), hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa tingkat pemahaman dan keterampilan mitra berada pada kategori baik (61-74 %)Community service activities aim to determine the level of public understanding of horticultural cultivation techniques. The cultivation of horticultural crops, it is the first step to stimulating the growth of the spirit of community participation in the importance of increasing the cultivation of horticultural crops. The importance of carrying out plant cultivation is because the community does not know the methods of cultivating plants properly and correctly, has not applied plant hatchery properly and correctly, does not know how to liming and fertilize properly, does not know the manufacture of liquid organic fertilizers, and so on. This community service is located in the Sausapor district. The partners in this program are as many as 10 sausapor communities, and it will be implemented in October 2022. Sausapor District has an area of 10.28 km2 with a population of 2856. The geographical and topographical conditions of the region are characterized based on a very large forest area, with the proportion of conservation forests and protected forests reaching 80%. The implementation methods that will be used include socialization, providing discussion methods, lectures, counselling, technical guidance and scheduled assistance. The stages of activity include Socialization of Activities, development and assistance in digitizing agriculture, including Land processing, Hatchery, Seeding, Planting and Fertilization. The results of the implementation of the activity explained that the level of knowledge and skills of partners towards plant cultivation techniques increased by 74.85% from 34.29% (64-75%); these results showed that the level of understanding and skills of partners was in a good category (61-74%).

Abstract

One learning model that encourages implementation is Component Display Theory (CDT) which educators can apply as a way to obtain optimal problem solving abilities. The urgency of research requires developing a CDT learning model by adding one aspect, namely Creation, which is expected to perfect the three existing aspects. The theoretical basis is constructivist and cognitive theory, where constructivism is a view that perceives activities in reorganizing, interpreting and creating knowledge. The aim of the research is to design a CDT model for physics learning? The method used in this research uses a Research and Development approach using a 4D model with stages including Define, Design, Develop & Disseminate. The research results explain that the results of the needs analysis show that the current use of the CDT learning model still needs to be designed clearly to encourage increased student understanding, especially in terms of problem solving skills. Based on the analysis data, it was found that there was a significant correlation between the ability to remember (Remember) and the ability to find problems in learning with a percentage of 50.9%. Furthermore, the ability to find and the ability to apply has a correlation of 66.7%. Therefore, it can be said that learning procedures using the CDT model contribute significantly to the construction of students' understanding so that when linked to creative abilities, students are able to better understand learning completely and comprehensively by 59.4%, which means it provides significance in increasing participants' problem solving skills. educate. On the other hand, the remembering stage, when linked to the creation stage, contributes to an increase which is categorized as quite low when compared to the other stages, amounting to 11.5%. Therefore, in implementing learning, there needs to be coherent and measurable learning management that can encourage increased student learning

Abstract

Sausapor merupakan salah satu distrik yang terdapat di kabupaten Tambrauw.  Jarak menuju distrik ini dari Kota Sorong adalah 110 km melalui jalur darat lokasi ini termasuk Terluar, Terdepan dan Tertinggal (3T). Tujuan penelitian ini  untuk  mengetahui peran literasi digital pertanian sebagai upaya meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat dalam budidaya tanaman berkelanjutan di kabupaten tambarauw. Metode pelaksanaan yang akan digunakan diantaranya sosialisasi, pemberian metode diskusi, ceramah, penyuluhan, bimbingan teknis dan pendampingan secara terjadwal. Adapun tahapan kegiatan meliputi pendamping dan pelatihan pembuatan pupuk kompos, pendampingan dan pelatihan pembuatan herbisida organik, pengetahuan tentang cara pemanenan, pengetahuan tentang pasca panen. Berdasarkan implementasi program yang dilakukan, terdapat perbedaan pada pengetahuan masyarakat di awal dan di akhir mengalami peningkatan hasil penen yang awalnya sebesar 32% menjadi 68 % di sisi lain hasil pasca panen mengalami peningkatan yang awalnya sebesar 31% menjadi 69%. Sehingga tingkat pemahaman dan keterampilan mitra berada pada kategori baik (61-74 %). Adapun untuk mencapai tujuan pelaksanaan kegiatan maka program pengabdian pada masyarakat secara optimal, dan tim PkM akan terus melakukan pendampingan secara informal.

Abstract

Nusantara Baru, Indonesia Maju menjadi tema kemerdekaan Republik Indonesia ke-79. Semarak kemerdekaan merupakan momen penting untuk menghargai perjuangan bangsa lewat semangat kemerdekaan di hati para anak-anak melalui lomba HUT RI ke-79 Tahun 2024. Kegiatan PKM ini lewak K2N yang di adakan oleh Universitas Muhammadiyah Sorong berkolaborasi dengan Universitas Gadjah Mada dan Universitas Muhamamdiyah Purwokerto di Kabupaten Raja Ampat, dengan metode pelaksanaan yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan kegiatan, monitoring dan evaluasi, serta laporan akhir dari kegiatan PKM ini. Keterlibatan anak-anak pada kegiatan lomba HUT RI ke-79 Tahun 2024 mempunya makna serta keunikan tersendiri, di mana anak-anak diajarkan untuk menghargai nilai-nilai kebangsaan sejak dini melalui kegiatan yang diperlombakan, selain itu pendidikan karakter manjadi sarana utama terhadap semangat juang, sportivitas, kerjasama, dan rasa hormat terhadap sesama generasi anak bangsa.

Abstract

Students' motivation to study mathematics was essential for improving their learning outcomes in the subject. Integrating the cooperative learning model of Student Facilitator and Explaining (SFAE) with the Dakonmatika learning media represents an innovative blend of group learning and the traditional Indonesian game of Dakon or Congklak. This research aims to determine the effect of using the SFAE learning model assisted by Dakonmatika media on students' mathematics learning outcomes. The study employs a quantitative method with a Quasi-Experimental design in the form of The Nonequivalent Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The subjects of this study were 54 students from Muhammadiyah 2 Elementary School in Sorong City, divided into two classes: an experimental class of 29 students and a control class of 25 students. The research findings indicated that, based on the previously described data analysis and discussion of the multiple linear regression test, a significance value of 0.019 < 0.05 was obtained. According to the decision-making criteria, H0 was rejected. Moreover, from the t-test table, the calculated value (2.477) was greater than the table value (2.05553), meaning that t_calculated > t_table. It implied that the application of the SFAE learning model with the assistance of Dakonmatika media has a significant impact on the mathematics learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at Muhammadiyah 2 Elementary School in Sorong City. The implication of this study was that the integration of the Student Facilitator And Explaining (SFAE) learning model with daconmatics media has great potential in improving the quality of mathematics learning in schools.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan literasi dan numerasi murid di MIS Lukman El Hakim melalui penerapan metode pembelajaran yang aktif, interaktif, dan berbasis latihan. Pendekatan yang diterapkan mencakup pembelajaran berbasis fonik, diskusi kelompok, latihan soal bertahap, serta penggunaan alat bantu visual dalam mengajarkan keterampilan dasar literasi dan numerasi. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui pre-test dan post-test pada aspek literasi dan numerasi untuk mengukur efektivitas program. Hasilnya menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam kemampuan literasi, dengan keterampilan membaca lancar murid naik dari 52% menjadi 91% dan kemampuan memahami teks bacaan meningkat dari 45% ke 97%. Di sisi numerasi, terdapat kenaikan dalam penguasaan operasi dasar dari 58% ke 96% serta operasi lanjutan dari 65% ke 94%. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa metode pembelajaran yang kontekstual dan berbasis pemahaman efektif dalam membantu murid menguasai keterampilan dasar yang penting bagi perkembangan akademis mereka di masa mendatang. Keberhasilan program ini diharapkan menjadi model yang dapat diterapkan di kelas-kelas lain untuk meningkatkan kompetensi literasi dan numerasi murid pada berbagai jenjang pendidikan.

Abstract

This study aims to improve elementary school students' statistical literacy through Physical Education (PJOK) learning, particularly in the long jump athletic material. The study used a quasi-experimental method with a pre-test post-test control group design. This research was conducted at SD Muhammadiyah 2 Kota Sorong with a total sample of 56 sixth-grade students, divided into two groups: the experimental class applying PJOK learning based on long jump athletics and the control class using a conventional learning model. Data were collected through pre-test, post-test, questionnaires, and observations of student activities. The results showed a significant improvement in statistical literacy in the experimental group compared to the control group. The t-test revealed a significance value indicating a significant difference between the two groups in achieving statistical literacy. The average N-Gain increase in the experimental group categorized as high, while the control group in moderate category. Additionally, students' responses to the learning model were positive. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that PE learning based on long jump athletics is effective in improving elementary students' statistical literacy. This learning model not only enhances conceptual understanding but also develops data analysis skills in real-world contexts.

Abstract

Barat Daya, yang menghadapi keterbatasan akses pendidikan, bahan bacaan, dan tenaga pendidik. Kegiatan dilakukan oleh mahasiswa Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) 3T kolaborasi Universitas Muhammadiyah Purwokerto dan Universitas Muhammadiyah Sorong. Program kerja yang dilaksanakan meliputi pengoperasian kembali Rumah Pintar sebagai pusat kegiatan literasi, pelaksanaan bimbingan belajar, serta pemberian bantuan belajar secara insidental untuk membantu siswa dalam mengerjakan tugas sekolah. Program ini dilaksanakan selama Agustus 2024 dengan melibatkan sekitar 70 siswa sekolah dasar dan 30–40 siswa sekolah menengah pertama. Pendekatan kualitatif digunakan dalam pelaksanaan program dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, angket, dan dokumentasi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan anak dalam mengenali huruf dan angka, membaca suku kata sederhana, menulis nama dengan ejaan benar, serta memperbaiki penggunaan tanda baca dan huruf kapital. Kegiatan read aloud dan pendampingan membaca secara rutin berhasil menumbuhkan minat baca, meningkatkan daya imajinasi, dan membangun kepercayaan diri anak dalam memahami bacaan. Program ini menunjukkan bahwa literasi berbasis komunitas dapat menjadi alternatif efektif dalam mendukung peningkatan kualitas pendidikan di daerah terpencil.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to improve the language competence and skills of high school students in writing using proper and correct language, understanding grammar usage well, and understanding spelling usage in an orderly manner. The methods used are lectures with slides and problem-based learning, namely analyzing the language errors in a journal article and summarizing it with paraphrases that are in accordance with the rules of proper and correct Indonesian language. The results indicate that students were able to improve their language proficiency and skills in writing using proper and correct language, understanding the proper use of grammar, and understanding the proper use of spelling in scientific language.
