Abstract

ABSTRACT    Feed is one of the major operating in cultivation of mud crab (S. serrata). One aspect for attention in cultivation were feeds. This research aims to determine the optimal effect of the feed percentage on the growth of mud crab aquaculture(S. serrata). This research was conducted using Experimental Methods with completely randomized design (CRD), those is 4 treatments and 3 replications. Treatment A (3% feeds of the weight biomass), B (5% feeds of weight biomass), C (7% feeds of weight biomass feed, D (9% feeds of weight biomass).Animal testing used was mud crab (S. serrata) with an average initial weight of ±100 gr / individual.Animal testing used were 48 crabs and maintained in a plastic basket measuring (59 x 37 x 17 )cm3during 40 day. The results shows different feed percentages had a significant effect (P <0.05) on absolute weight growth, feed conversion, livelihood, moulting, but not significantly influence (P> 0.05) on SR mangrove crabs. The results shows that the best treatment for absolute weight growth was found in 7% feeding of biomass weight (P3), which was 80.00 g, specific growth rate of 1.53%, average moulting time of 18.66 days with survival rate 83 , 33%, and the best feed conversion is 4.10.Keywords :Mud crab; Food; Growth; Moulting; Life-long rate

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis research was aimed to determine the organic matter produced from catfish waste with different stocking densities that are best for the increase of biomass and the number of silk worms that are maintained with a recirculation system. The research method used was the experimental method and the design used was a non-factorial Completely Randomized Design with 4 levels of stocking solid treatment namely 100 catfish / m3 (P1), 150 catfish / m3 (P2), maintenance of catfish 200 / m3 (P3). The results showed that organic matter produced from different catfish stocking densities had a significant effect (P <0.05) on individual biomass and growth. The highest biomass value and individual growth were found in 200 tail / mstocking density3 (P3)with an average of 137.3 g and an increase in individuals with an average of 49,302 individuals. Based on the results it can be concluded that organic matter produced from stocking density of different catfish culture can increase individual biomass and growth. Keywords:Tubifexsp, Stocking Density, biomass, individual growth, materials organic.

ABSTRACT   This research was conducted in October to December 2019 in the Hatchery at  Fisheries and Marine Faculty, University of Riau. The aims of this researchwas todetermine the growth and survival rate of Osphronemus gouramy fed phytase enzym with different amounts. Theresearch used a size aquarium 40 x 40 x 40 cm3 with a water height 15 cm for 15 units. The feed used in the form of Phytase Enzym, given with dose of 0,5 g/kg feed, 0,75 g/kg feed, 1 g/kg feed and 1,25 g/kg feed respectively. The method used in this researchwas the experimental method of Completely Randomized Design (CRD) using one factor with 5 treatments  and3 replications. The best result is  P3feeding with  dose 1 g/kg feed can produce absolute growth weight 4,48 gram, absolute growth length 1,67 cm, growth of specific length 2,08%, feed efficiency 25,46% and survival rate 82.22%. Water quality recorded during the research was obtained, temperature 26,3-28,3 0C, pH 7,6-7.9 DO 6,4-6,6 mg/L and Ammonia 0,112-0,128 mg/L.These result of researchof Osphronemus gouramy addedphytase enzym with different amounts gives a significant effect on the growth rate and survival. Keywords: Osphronemus gourami, Phytase Enzym, Growth and survival rate,

Abstract

Aquaponics, the combined culture of fish and plants in recirculating systems, hasbecome increasingly popular. Ammonia that excreted from fish metabolic activity is aserious problem in intensive aquaculture production systems because it would build-upto toxic level in fish tanks. Therefore, recirculating system with filtration process be-comes an important component to maintain water quality in order to be an appropriatecondition for fish production. The purpose of this study was to develop a silais (Ompoksp) by increasing production capacity with intensive Aquaculture of high density ismaintained in the media filter reisrkulasi Chinese Cabbages (aquaponics system). Theresult of the experiments showed silais fish farming (Omphok sp) aquaponics system toincrease production capacity to produce biomass of fish silais to 0.878 kgs and Chi-nese Cabbages up to 1.161 kgs and fish performance of that system such as survivalrate and food conversion ratio, were higher than the others, i.e., 100 % and 1.24, re-spectively. However, fish specific growth rate of the treatment (2,15 %) have no sig-nificant difference (P> 0.05) compared to other treatmen.

Abstract

Peat soils have the poor water quality, due to its low pH, wich ranges between 3-5, reddish-brown color of the water and minerals and contains very few ground-state nutrient-poor ponds. Household waste can not be used. This study was conducted in Faculty of Fisheries and marine Sciences University of Riau. The results shows that the grade of NPK was very significant effectively on zooplankton abudnance and the species of zooplankton were found from all the treatments consisted of for classes, namely Protozoa, Rotatoria, Crustacea and Insecta. Types of zooplankton derived from protozoa class consists of 4 types namely Coccomonas sp, Euglena sp, Ochromonas sp and Pleodarina sp, whereas Rotatoria class consists of two types of Brachionus angularia and Keratella cochlearis, types of classes crustacea consists of 3 types namely Cyclops sp, Moina sp, and Daphnia sp. The first population peak abundance in all treatments at 12th day with the total abundance in each treatmen of P0 (1,947 ind/l), P1 to (4,623 ind/l), P2 to (9,490 ind/l), P3 (6,327 ind/l). While the second peaks abundance population in all treatments occurred 26 day total abudance in each treatments is P0 (3,772 ind/l), P1 (6,813 ind/l), P2 (13,505 ind/l), P3 (11,193 ind/l). Based on total abundance of 14 times sampling the highest abudance was acieved by P2 treatment (9,490 ind/l)) the 12th day, whereas the second-highest of total abudance of P2 occurred at 26th day (13,505 ind/l).
