ABSTRACT            This research was carried out on March 1 to May 10 2018 which was held at the Regional Technical Implementation Unit (UPTD) of Bengkalis located on Jl. MariamanTeluk Papal Village, Bantan District, Bengkalis Regency, Riau Province. This study aims to obtain the best filter substrate in increasing growth and survival of red tilapia (Oreochromisniloticus) seeds which are maintained in brackish water with a recirculation system. The method used in this study is an experimental method using a single-factor completely randomized design (RAL) with four treatment levels and three replications. The treatment applied is P0 = Gravel, palm fiber, sand, P1 = Zeolite, palm fiber, sand, P2 = charcoal, palm fiber, sand and P3 = bioball, palm fiber, sand. The parameters measured in this study include water quality, absolute weight growth, absolute length growth, specific growth rate (SGR) and survival rate (SR). The best treatment was obtained in P3 treatment (bioball, palm fiber and sand) giving the results of water quality, namely temperature 28,1 – 30,3 0C, pH 7,4 – 8,1, DO 5,24 – 6,53 mg / L, NH3 0,06 – 0,40 mg / L, NO2 0,056 – 0,90 mg / L and NO3- 0,28 – 0,190 mg / L, the absolute weight of red tilapia is 10,12 g, the absolute length is 4,99 g, specific growth rate of 6,63% and survival of 93,33%.Keywords : Resirculation system, filter, red tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus)

Abstract

ABSTRACTBlue swimming crab is fisheries commodity having high economic value. The aim of  study is  to knowthe best stocking density on growth and survival rate of blue swimming crab (Portunus pelagicus) in recirculation system. This research was conducted in July-August 2019. Located in Center for Brackish A quaculture Fisheries (BBPBAP) Jepara. The methods used was the exprerimental method, namely a completely randomized design (CRD) ofone factor with four levels of treatment and three replications required 12 experimental units with treatments P1 = 8 ind/32 liters, P2 = 10 ind/32 liters, P3 = 12 ind/32 liters and P4 = 14 ind/32 liters. The best growthrates was found in P1with stocking density of 8 ind/32 L with absolute weight growth 1.60 g,  the specific growth 8.81 g and survival rate 58.33%. Water quality during research were 25,1 -28, 90°C, pH 7.51-7.72, 4.21-6.04 mg/L dissolved oxygen and ammoniac 0.001-0.072 mg/L.Keywords: Blue swimming Crab, Stocking Density, Growth

Abstract

ABSTRACT This reaserch was conducted from 26 October to 4 December 2018, at the laboratory of Aquaculture Technology, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine University Of Riau. The main purpose of this study was to determine the effect of different probiotic doses on fish feed toward the growth performance and survival rate of Gouramyfish (Osphronemus gouramy). The probiotic was used in this study was probiotic which is composed of Lactobacillus sp., Nitrosomonas sp. and Bacillus sp. This research used a Ccompletely Randomized Design (CRD) with one factor, five treatments and three replications. Doses of probiotic were used in this research were P0 (control), P1(5 ml/kg of feed), P2(10 ml/kg of feed), P3(15 ml/kg of feed) dan P4(20 ml/kg of feed).Result of this research gave significant effecttoward the absolut weight growth, absolut length growth and spesific growth rate, while for the feed efficiency, and survival ratenot gave significant effect on any treatments (P>0.05). The best treatment was on the addition probiotic dose 15 ml/kg of feed giving  4.59 g of absolut weigth growth, spesific growth rate was 2.45 g, feed efficiency was 27.62% g and survival rate was 93.33 %.Keyword: Pribiotic, Gouramy Fish, Growth, Survival Rate

Abstract

ABSTRACT The objective of the research was to investigate the best stock of juaro fish on closed transportation system. The method used in this research was experimental method using Completely Randomized Design (RAL) of one factor 3 treatment levels and 3 replications, ie P1: density of juaro 8 fish/L, P2:density of juaro 10 fish/L and P3: density of juaro 12 fish/L. This research was conducted in June to July 2017 in the UPT Aquatic Aquaculture Technology Laboratory of Marine Fishery University of Riau. The result of this research was obtained by optimum stocking density the transportation of Juaro fish seeds with the addition of 20 g zeolite, 10 g of activated carbon and 4 g of salt which was transported for 8 hours was 8 fish/L. It is characterized by a survival rate (SR) of 58.33%, temperature 280C, DO 2.23 mg/L, CO2 0.87 mg/L, pH 7, NH3 0.23 mg/L and post-transport cortisol blood 179,406 nmol/L. Keywords : Stock Density, Pangasius polyuranodon, Closed Transportation System,

Abstract

One of the obligation biotic component in aquascape are decomposition creature that is shrimp. Red Lili Shrimp is one of the main comodity of ornamental fish with high economic value which grow along with the aquascape bussiness in Indonesia. Until today, the demand of Red Lili Shrimp are very high but the stock is still low, which caused by the influence of temperature in mortality of shrimp. This research objectivity is to knowing the growth and survival rate of Red Lili Shrimp (Neocaridina heteropoda var rili) with temperature manipulation by the treatment 'different media temperature manipulation'. The methode which used in this research was Complete Random Stake 1 factor with 4 times different treatment and 3 times repetition. PO shrimp control maintained in temperature 27 - 29ᴼC, P1 : Treatment 1 the shrimp maintained by temperature 26°± 0,5ᴼC ,P2 : Treatment 2 the shrimp maintained by temperature 29°± 0,5ᴼC ,P3 : Treatment 3 the shrimp maintained by temperature 32°± 0,5ᴼC. By manipulation of temperature given serious effect to absolute growth of weight and survival rate, by giving best temperature in treatment 26 ± 0,5ᴼC by daily growth 8,46 %, the absolute growth is 0,024 gram, the absolute length growth 0,24 cm and survival rate 73 %.Keyword: Manipulasi suhu, Neocaridina heteropoda var Rili, Pertumbuhan ,Kelulushidupan

ABSTRACT The research was conducted in February until March 2019 at  Aquaculture Technology Laboratory of Fisheries and Marine, University Riau. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of feeding on the growth and survival rate of Hemibagrus nemurus on maintenance with biofloc system. The method used is an experimental method with a completely randomized complete design (CRD) with four levels of treatment, namely P1 (1 time a day feeding at 6 a.m.), P2 (2 times a day feeding (6 a.m. and 6 p.m ) P3 (3 feeding times at 6 a.m., 12 a.m. and 6 p.m.) and P4 (4 times a day feeding at 6 a.m., 10 p.m., 12 a.m. and 6 p.m.). The results showed that the frequency of different feedings had an effect on the growth and survival rate of  Hemibagrus nemurus on maintenance media with a biofloc system. The best treatment is P4 (4 times a day feeding at 6 a.am., 10 a.am., 12 a.m. and 6 p.m.), with absolute growth weight of 5.10 g, absolute length of 2.28 cm, specific growth rate of 2.25%, feed efficiency 92.76% and 100% survival rate. Water quality during the study was pH 6.67-6.84, temperature 27.55 - 28.18 °C, DO 5.18 - 5.83 mg / l and ammonia 0.002-0.007 mg / l.   Keywords: Frequency, Hemibagrus nemurus, growth, survival rate, bioflok
