Abstract

The UN emphasizes the importance of 21st century education in building a knowledge-based society. Learning in this era is influenced by new guidelines from UNESCO, which emphasize four main elements, namely collaboration, communication, creativity and critical thinking (4C). One type of 21st century learning evaluation that can be applied is Project-based learning evaluation. Project-based assessment is a learning activity that involves students in making projects so that learning is centered on students and teachers act as supervisors in the learning process. The purpose of this study was to determine the application of project-based learning evaluation at MA Miftahul Falah. This research is descriptive qualitative research, with data collection techniques of observation and interviews and documentation. The results of this study show that project-based Arabic learning at MA Miftahul Falah for grades 11 IPA and 11 IPS is carried out through several stages, namely project preparation and presentation, discussion, group division, teacher supervision, and presentation of final results. Students are divided into four groups with different themes, namely في سوبرماركت (in the supermarket), في السوق التقليدي (in the traditional market), في قسم الملابس (in the clothing department), and في قسم الفواكه والخضروات (in the fruit and vegetable department). These learning stages include initial learning in the classroom, independent project work outside the classroom, and discussion of project results in the classroom

Abstract

Arabic language learning in Sukahideng Islamic boarding school experiences several obstacles, such as students feeling bored and tired to learn to speak Arabic because teachers tend to dominate learning activities in the classroom compared to students. Thus, the application of a model that improves learning is needed because it is one of the tools to achieve goals. This research aims to produce a product in the form of a learning model to improve Arabic language skills through the Ihya al-Lughah Learning Model. The method used in this research is Research and Development (R&D) with experimental method. Data collection was done through observation techniques. Interviews were conducted with students, teachers, and boarding school leaders. Documentation was done by looking at various data in the field. Data analysis was done inductively. The research stages include preliminary studies, development, and validation. Based on the fifth point, the research findings at Sukahideng Islamic boarding school show that the application of the Ihya al-Lughah model is more effective than conventional Arabic learning. This effectiveness is indicated by the difference in test results between the experimental santri group (the group that received treatment using the learning model developed in this study) and the control santri group (the group that did not receive treatment using the learning model). This research is expected to contribute and become one of the effective and efficient learning models in Arabic language learning, as well as useful for readers and Arabic language activists to apply it in Arabic language learning.

Abstract

Tariqah Al-Qawa'id Wa Al Tarjamah is a traditional (classical) language teaching method that emphasizes reading and translating aspects coupled with analysis of the grammatical structure contained in the text. Effectiveness of Implementing the al Qawaid Wa al Tarjamah Method in Increasing the Maharah Qira'ah of Class VIII Female Students at MTs Darul Arqam Muhammadiyah Garut. This research uses a type of quantitative research with a pre-experimental method which aims: 1) To find out the application of the al Qawaid Wa al Tarjamah method in increasing the maharah qira'ah of Class VIII Female Students at MTs Darul Arqam Muhammadiyah Garut. 2) Knowing the effectiveness of applying the al qawaid wa al tarjamah method in increasing the maharah qira'ah of Class VIII Female Students at MTs Darul Arqam Muhammadiyah Garut. Because there are quite significant values, it can be concluded that the application of the Al Qawaid Wa Al Tarjamah method is effective in increasing the maharah qira'ah of Class VIII Female Students at MTs Darul Arqam Muhammadiyah Garut. Abstract

One of the skills that needs to be strengthened in Arabic is maharoh kalam which must be learned for people who want to know Arabic. Kalam learning for students at Madrasah Negeri Dua Subang using Audio Visual media is one way for a teacher to be successful in the classroom in meeting effective learning goals. The problem is that Madrasah Negeri Dua Subang has not implemented it. Therefore, the aim of this research is to determine the increase in students' interest in learning Arabic using Interactive Audio Visual PowerPoint PPT media. This research was carried out in several cycles with a qualitative approach by collecting data by means of observation, interviews and documentation studies. The data analysis carried out was using data reduction methods, presenting data and drawing conclusions. The results of learning research at Madrasah Negeri Dua Subang using Interactive Audio Visual PowerPoint PPT media are that students can increase their interest and more easily learn Arabic to the next level. his study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of using audiovisual media in the form of interactive PowerPoint (PPT) presentations in increasing the learning interest of Class VII students at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 2 Subang. The research method used is descriptive quantitative, with data collected through observations, interviews, and questionnaires with teachers and students. The results of the study show that the use of interactive PPTs significantly increases students' interest in learning. This media can capture students' attention, make learning more engaging, and facilitate more active interaction between teachers and students. Teachers reported an increase in students' enthusiasm and motivation to participate in lessons. Overall, the use of interactive audiovisual PPT media has proven to be effective in increasing the learning interest of Class VII students at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 2 Subang.

Abstract

Background: SBAR (Situation, Background, Assessment, Recommendation) is a structured communication framework designed to facilitate the logical and efficient transfer of information among healthcare professionals. This method supports the identification, assessment, and management of patient risks. Ineffective communication is a leading contributor to patient safety incidents; therefore, implementing structured communication like SBAR is essential for enhancing the quality and safety of healthcare delivery. Purpose: To explore and analyze the impact of SBAR communication on improving the effectiveness of patient safety within healthcare settings. Method: A systematic review approach in accordance with the PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses) guidelines. A thorough search was conducted across multiple scholarly databases—Scopus, PubMed, ScienceDirect, and Google Scholar—using the keywords: "SBAR AND communication AND healthcare AND facilities." Results: The implementation of SBAR enhances healthcare workers’ communication competencies, fosters a safer and more reassuring environment for patients, and contributes positively to the overall quality of care. Conclusion: SBAR is a communication tool that promotes timely, accurate, complete, and clear information exchange, thereby supporting the effectiveness of patient safety practices in healthcare services.

Abstract

ملخص البحث: ويهدف هذا البحث إلى معرفة أساليب الإنشاء الطلبي في الآيات القرآنية الواردة في سورة التحريم ومعرفة كيفية التحليل أساليب الإنشاء الطلبي في الآيات القرآنية الواردة في سورة التحريم ومعرفة أوجه الاستفادة منها في تنمية مهارة الكلام لدى المستوى المتوسط فمن بحثه أراد الباحث أن يسهم معلمي اللغة العربية خلال دراسته التحليلية عن أساليب الإنشاء الطلبي، في تنمية مهارة الكلام وإعانة على زيادة المعلومات والنظريات ووضع التدريبات. ولإنجاز هذا البحث يسلك الباحث المنهج الاستقرائي والمنهج التحليلي ونوع هذه الدراسة هو البحث المكتبي. في ظل هذين المنهجين قام الباحث بالاستقراء والتتبع الآيات القرآنية في سورة التحريم وتحديد أسليب الإنشاء الطلبي. وبعد ذلك القيام بتطبيق النتائج لمعرفة أوجه الاستفادة منها في تنمية مهارة الكلام لدى المستوى المتوسط. في هذه الدراسة توصل الباحث إلى النتائج: إن اثنتي عشرة آية من سورة التحريم ورد فيها الإنشاء الطلبي عشرون آية، ورد بأسلوب الأمر عشر آيات وورد بأسلوب النهي آية واحدة، وورد بأسلوب الاستفهام آيتان، وورد بأسلوب النداء خمس آية، وورد بأسلوب التمني آيتان. وتتم باستفادة منها بوضع التدريبات بشكل الأسئلة تحتوي على إنشاء الطلبي والتعبيرات والحوارات والجمل والمحادثة الموجهة بالشكل التطبيقي. الكلمة المفتاحية: سورة التحريم، الإنشاء الطلبي، مهارة الكلام. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui metode komposisi permintaan dalam ayat-ayat Al-Qur'an yang terdapat dalam Sûrat Al-Tahrîm dan untuk mengetahui bagaimana menganalisis metode komposisi permintaan dalam ayat-ayat Al-Qur'an yang terdapat dalam Sûrat Al-Tahrîm dan untuk mengetahui cara-caranya. manfaat dari mereka dalam mengembangkan keterampilan berbicara di tingkat menengah Studi analitis tentang metode konstruksi teratur, dalam pengembangan keterampilan berbicara dan bantuan dalam meningkatkan informasi, teori dan pengembangan latihan.Untuk menyelesaikan penelitian ini, peneliti mengikuti pendekatan induktif dan pendekatan analitis, dan jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pustaka. Berdasarkan dua pendekatan tersebut, peneliti mengekstrapolasi dan menelusuri ayat-ayat Al-Qur’an dalam Sûrat Al-Tahrîm dan menentukan metode konstruksi permintaan. Dan kemudian terapkan hasilnya untuk mengetahui cara-cara memanfaatkannya dalam mengembangkan keterampilan berbicara di tingkat menengah. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti memperoleh hasil: Dua belas ayat Sûrat Al-Tahrîm berisi dua puluh ayat doa, sepuluh ayat disebutkan dengan gaya perintah, satu ayat disebutkan dengan gaya larangan, dua ayat disebutkan dengan gaya interogatif, lima ayat disebutkan dengan gaya seruan, dan dua ayat disebutkan dengan gaya berharap. Dan memanfaatkannya dengan meletakkan latihan-latihan berupa soal-soal yang berisi pembuatan permintaan, ungkapan, dialog, kalimat, dan percakapan yang terarah dalam bentuk terapan. Kata Kunci: Sûrat Al-Tahrîm, Insyâ Al-Talabiyy, Keterampilan Berbicara Abstract: This study aims to determine the request composition method in the verses of the Qur'an contained in Sûrat Al-Tahrîm and to find out how to analyze the demand composition method in the verses of the Qur'an contained in Sûrat Al-Tahrîm and to know the ways. benefit from them in developing speaking skills at the intermediate level. Analytical study of methods of regular construction, in the development of speech skills and assistance in improving information, theory and practice development. To complete this research, the researcher follows an inductive approach and an analytical approach, and this type of research is literature research. Based on these two approaches, the researcher extrapolates and traces the verses of the Qur'an in Sûrat Al-Tahrîm and determines the request construction method. And then apply the results to see ways to use them to develop speaking skills at the intermediate level. In this study, the researcher obtained the following results: Twelve verses of Sûrat Al-Tahrîm contain twenty prayer verses, ten verses are mentioned in command style, one verse is mentioned in prohibition style, two verses are mentioned in interrogative style, five verses are mentioned in exclamation style, and two verses are mentioned in a hopeful fashion. And take advantage of it by placing exercises in the form of questions that contain making requests, expressions, dialogues, sentences, and directed conversations in applied form. Abstract

In its development, the implementation of learning has now reached the concept of deep learning. Deep learning can be defined as an approach that emphasizes creating a learning environment and learning process that is conscious, meaningful, and enjoyable, through the mind, heart, and senses, body, in a holistic and integrated manner. Deep learning is expected to enhance the learning process, particularly in the development of language skills, both receptive and expressive. This study aims to investigate the integration of deep learning in the development of receptive and expressive language skills. This study employs a qualitative approach with a literature review, as the data obtained are descriptive and expressed in words. The results of this study indicate that various learning methods, such as Project-Based Learning, Inquiry-Based Learning, Collaborative Learning, and Problem-Based Learning, are highly relevant because they not only support the achievement of academic competencies but also encourage emotional and social engagement among learners. Each method offers stages or syntax that can be adapted to the language skills that must be developed. Thus, integrating deep learning principles and appropriate methods will result in a learning process that is effective and transformative. Dalam perkembangannya, pelaksanaan pembelajaran kini telah mencapai konsep pembelajaran mendalam (deep learning). Deep learning dapat didefinisikan sebagai suatu pendekatan yang menekankan pada penciptaan lingkungan dan proses belajar yang sadar, bermakna, serta menyenangkan, melalui keterlibatan pikiran, hati, pancaindra, dan tubuh secara holistik serta terintegrasi. Deep learning diharapkan mampu meningkatkan kualitas proses pembelajaran, khususnya dalam pengembangan keterampilan berbahasa, baik reseptif maupun ekspresif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji integrasi deep learning dalam pengembangan keterampilan berbahasa reseptif dan ekspresif. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode kajian pustaka, karena data yang diperoleh bersifat deskriptif dan disajikan dalam bentuk kata-kata. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa berbagai metode pembelajaran seperti Project-Based Learning, Inquiry-Based Learning, Collaborative Learning, dan Problem-Based Learning sangat relevan diterapkan, karena tidak hanya mendukung pencapaian kompetensi akademik, tetapi juga mendorong keterlibatan emosional dan sosial peserta didik. Setiap metode memiliki tahapan atau sintaks yang dapat disesuaikan dengan keterampilan berbahasa yang ingin dikembangkan. Dengan demikian, integrasi prinsip-prinsip deep learning dan metode yang tepat akan menghasilkan proses pembelajaran yang efektif dan transformatif.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the errors of students in using contextual and idiomatic expressions in Arabic student theses of Education Faculty of UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung and to describe the factors that influence the errors. The method used is content analysis and data was analyzed qualitatively. All contextual and idiomatic expressions in the theses of students will be analyzed and combined with Arabic dictionary. Data source is 20 students’ theses. The results showed that errors are still found in contextual and idiomatic expressions, so the meaning of the sentence is not appropriate. The students got difficulties to distinguish both contextual expression and idiomatic expression of huruf jarr usage in writing sentences. The function of huruf jarr is still strange for them. Basicly, it was influenced by several factors, mainly the influence of Indonesian language which is very dominant, in addition to the fact that less students are given sufficient training to use huruf jarr.

Abstract

Arabic language learning begins with the pronunciation of Arabic letters (hijaiyah) due to the differences in phonetic systems between Indonesian and Arabic, which often lead to pronunciation errors, especially when reading the Qur'an. This study aims to identify pronunciation errors among TPA students and explore solutions through alternative teaching methods, focusing on students from Madrasah As-Salam Sukajadi Bandung, divided into two groups. The study employs a qualitative approach with a case study method. Techniques such as observation, interviews, and evaluations were used to gather case study data. Data were analyzed continuously from the start to the end of the study, involving data collection, identification, classification, frequency analysis of errors, identification of error areas, and error correction. Based on the discussion and data analysis, the most frequent errors among Madrasah As-Salam students occurred in pronouncing the letters ء, ف, and ش for Iqra students, and ق, ف, and ع for Qur'an-reading students. To address these errors, the study implemented the attartil method, which showed significant improvements. For Iqra students, the error rate for pronouncing ف decreased from 90% to 40%, ء from 80% to 20%, and ش from 70% to 20%. Meanwhile, for Qur'an-reading students, the error rate for pronouncing ف dropped from 35.75% to 21.5%, ق from 41.65% to 23.85%, and ع from 34.05% to 18.20%.

Abstract

The integration of mobile technology in elementary Arabic language learning has increased; however, empirical studies examining the effectiveness of customizable app-development platforms for vocabulary instruction remain limited and underexplored. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of a Thunkable-based mobile learning application in improving Arabic vocabulary mastery among fifth-grade students at Madrasah Ibtidaiyyah Matlaul Athfal Cilengkrang, Bandung. Addressing the limited empirical studies on the use of app-development platforms for elementary-level Arabic instruction, this research employed a quantitative quasi-experimental design with a non-equivalent control group. A total of 41 students participated, comprising an experimental group (n = 20) and a control group (n = 21). Data were collected through pre- and post-tests and analyzed using descriptive statistics, paired-sample and independent-sample t-tests, as well as N-Gain analysis. The results showed a statistically significant improvement in the experimental group’s vocabulary mastery compared to the control group (p < 0.05). The experimental group achieved a moderate N-Gain score (55.75%), while the control group demonstrated a lower level of improvement (34.43%). These findings indicate that Thunkable-based mobile learning is an effective and interactive medium for enhancing Arabic vocabulary acquisition at the elementary level. The study contributes to research on mobile-assisted language learning by demonstrating the pedagogical potential of customizable mobile applications in Arabic language education. It offers practical implications for teachers integrating digital learning tools.
