Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out whether there are changes in the financial performance of Bank Syariah Indonesia before and after the merger. The population and sample used were 3 sharia banks that merged into PT. Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) which includes PT. Bank Syariah Mandiri (BSM), PT BNI Syariah (BNIS), and PT BRI Syariah (BRIS). Observation data is in the form of quantitative information taken from annual financial reports for the pre-merger period 2019-2020 and the post-merger period 2021-2022. The research methodology used includes descriptive statistics using the maqashid sharia index (MSI) technique. The findings of the data analysis show that financial performance as measured by MSI for the ranking results, BNIS is ranked first, BSI is second, BRIS is third and BSM is fourth. BNIS received first place with superior results for the first and second performance indicators, while BRIS's third indicator was superior. Even though BNIS was ranked first in the MSI results, the average MSI results before the merger from the combination of BRIS, BNIS and BSM were still lower than the MSI results of BSI bank. The conclusion shows that the financial performance using the BSI bank MSI technique is better after the merger if compared to before the merger based on the average of pre- and post-merger MSI results..

Abstract

This study was prepared with the aim of improving students' learning skills using the Task Base Language Teaching (TBLT) method for class VIII students of MTs Al-Hurriyyah Kutawaluya, Karawang. School year 2023/2024. Improving learning skills referred to in this study are istima' (listening), qira'ah (reading), kalam (speaking), and kitabah (writing) skills. This research is classroom action research (PTK), and its design uses the Kemmis and McTaggart model. This research was carried out salam 2 cycles in the even semester of the 2023/2024 school year, namely in May 2024. The subjects of this study were VIII grade students of MTs Al-Hurriyyah Kutawaluya, consisting of 25 students. Data collection techniques used observation and interviews, and the data were analyzed descriptively and presented in the form of tables and graphs. The results showed an increase in student learning skills, namely in cycle I by 73,25% (good category), then in cycle II, there was an increase, which amounted to 82,79% (very good category), and means that there is an increase; therefore, the use of the task-based language teaching (TBLT) method in Arabic language subjects can improve the learning skills of 8th-grade students of MTs Al-Hurriyyah Kutawaluya. This research supports the development of better Arabic learning strategies in Madrasah. Recommendations for future research: expand the variables and longitudinal design to understand the effects of TBLT in Arabic language teaching.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effect of using Index Card Match learning media with cooperative learning methods on the learning outcomes of grade VIII-G students of Mts Negeri 3 Purwakarta on Arabic mufradāt material. This study used classroom action research methods. Learning outcome data was measured using 20 multiple-choice tests relevant to mufradāt material. The results of the analysis of this study show that the use of Index Card Match media with cooperative methods can improve student learning outcomes. This study concluded that students' learning outcomes before using Index Card Match media obtained an average pretest score of 54, while after using Index Card Match media, the average score on the posttest increased to 74.5. Follow-up studies may involve larger samples and different learning materials to better generalize these findings.

Abstract

تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى اكتشاف الكلمات الساساكية ذات أصل عربي في قاموس اللغة الساساكية (nazir toir) وهذا المبدأ ينبني على أن بين اللغتين الساساكية و العربية وهي لغة القرآن الكريم علاقة وتيدة منذ دخول الإسلام في جزيرة لومبوك. وتهدف هذه الدراسة إلى كيفية تصميم ألعاب لغوية لتعليم اللغة العربية للساساكيين المبتدئين باستخدام الكلمات الساساكية ذات أصل عربي.و اعتمدت هذه الدراسة على المنهج الوصفي التحليلي الذي يصف وصفا دقيقا لموضوع الدراسة وذلك من خلال تحليل الكلمات الساساكية ذات أصل عربي بالعتماد على القاموس الساساكي والعربي، وتصميمها في الألعاب اللغوية.وأثبتت هذه الدراسة إمكانية الاستفادة من الكلمات الساساكية ذات أصل عربي في تعليم اللغة العربية للومبوكيين من خلال تصميم ألعاب لغوية. This study aimed to express an absorption words of Sasak language derived from Arabic language in the Nazir book. This principle is based on the fact that between Sasak language and Arabic, language of the qur'an, which has a reltionship and affiliation since the introduction of Islam in Lombok island. This study also aimed how to design a language game to teach Arabic language for the beginners from Sasak tribes by using Sasak words derived from Arabic. This study used descriptive analytic approach, which described an accurate description about the subject of the research. Through analysis the words of Sasak language derived from Arabic, based on Sasak and Arabic dictionary and there are sentences designed into language game. This study showed the exsistence of Sasak words derived from Arabic in Sasak dictionary (Nazir book) from the letter A-R as an example and the total reaches one hundred and fourty five words. This study concluded that there is a change of Arabic words that entered to Sasak Language and the sentences divided into four classes

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu menganalisis kemampuan siswa kelas 10 MA Miftahul Falah dalam memahami teks arab sebelum menggunakan media ChatGPT, menganalisis kemampuan siswa kelas 10 MA Miftahul Falah dalam memahami teks arab sesudah menggunakan media ChatGPT, menganalisis peningkatan kemampuan siswa kelas 10 MA Miftahul Falah sesudah menggunakan media ChatGPT, menganalisis dampak positif dan negatif penggunaan media ChatGPT dalam pembelajaran bahasa arab. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan dalam penellitian ini yaitu pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode quasi eksperiment. Peneliti menggunakan observasi, wawancara, tes dan studi pustaka untuk mengumpulkan data yang dibutuhkan. Dan peneliti menggunakan analisis deskriptif, uji normalitas, uji t berpasangan dengan bantuan SPSS versi 26.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kemampuan siswa kelas 10 MA Miftahul Falah dalam memahami teks arab sebelum menggunakan media ChatGPT berada dalam level rendah, yang ditunjukan oleh nilai rata-rata yaitu 59,9. kemampuan siswa kelas 10 MA Miftahul Falah dalam memahami teks arab sesudah menggunakan media ChatGPT berada pada level sangat bagus yang ditunjukan oleh nilai rata-rata yaitu 83,2. Penerapan media ini berpengaruh positif terhadap kemampuan siswa dalam memahami teks arab sebesar 0,5866 artinya ada peningkatan sebesar 58,6644%. Jadi penerapan media ini cukup efektif. Media ini juga memberikan dampak positif dan dampak negatif ketika diterapkan sebagai media pembelajaran bahasa arab.

Abstract

Arabic language learning has a different learning system in the learning process. There are two divisions in the Arabic language learning system, namely Nizham Al Wihdah which is also called an integrated system which means that learning Arabic is a language that is a closely related unit and is not presented in a separate form. Second, Nizham al Furu', namely the theory of branches or separation of Arabic language material. The aim of this research is to find out the problems and solutions in implementing the Nizham Al Wihdah system in Arabic language learning at SMP IT Najib Bariq Bandung. This research method is qualitative case study research based on data collection: in-depth interviews, documentation, and participatory observation. The researcher concluded that the results of this research were problems that occurred due to inadequate allocation of time and facilities and the advice needed was teachers who were appropriate in their field and used the language environment as a solution to this problem

Abstract

This research aims to identify the locations of mispronunciations of the makhārij al-hurūf in conversations (hiwār) in the VII PPS Babussalam class in the city of Bandung. Additionally, it serves as an evaluation tool for Arabic language learning to improve the learning process and provide solutions or treatments to students to enhance their makhārij al-hurūf pronunciation. Correcting makhārij al-hurūf errors is crucial as they can affect the meaning. This research utilizes a qualitative descriptive research method. The population of this research includes all the students in the VII PPS Babussalam class in the city of Bandung, and it was conducted on May 17, 2023, at the VII PPS Babussalam class in Bandung. Data collection involved interviews, tests, and documentation, followed by analyzing all data in narrative form. Based on the research findings, it can be concluded that there are 426 mispronunciations of makhārij al-hurūf in the hiwār in the VII PPS Babussalam class in Bandung. These errors include mispronunciations in Al-Jauf (Mouth Cavity), totaling three errors with a percentage of 0.70%, falling into the deficient category; mispronunciations in Al-halq (Throat), totaling 204 errors with a percentage of 47.89%; falling into the high category; mispronunciations in al-lisān (Tongue), totaling 171 errors with a percentage of 40.14%, also falling into the high category; mispronunciations in al-syafatain (Two Lips), totaling 35 errors with a percentage of 8.22%, falling into the low category; and mispronunciations in Al-Khaiysyum (Nasal Cavity), totaling 13 errors with a percentage of 3.05%, falling into the low category. These pronunciation errors occur due to the student's lack of understanding of the correct makhārij al-hurūf pronunciation, such as not being aware of the pronunciation differences between Indonesian and Arabic, the absence of specific attention from teachers to correct each student's pronunciation, and the lack of practice. This study recommends further research in analyzing the mispronunciation of makhārij al-hurūf letters with different research objects, namely the mispronunciation of makhārij al-hurūf letters in Arabic news.

Abstract

Good learning media must be used to support learning. In general, there are three types of learning media, namely audio media, visual media, and audiovisual media. This research wants to know how audio, visual, and audiovisual media are applied at MTsN 1 Makassar City so that learning is not monotonous for students. This research uses qualitative and descriptive methodology. The data collected for this study came from Arabic language learning at MTsN 1 Makassar City. The data sources in this study consisted of G1, G2, and G3 who were Arabic language teachers at MTsN 1 Makassar City. Data collection techniques in this study were interviews and observations. The results of this study found that learning using audio media alone is very rarely used, but in some times they simply apply it by reading the text directly to students, then Arabic language learning using visual media at MTsN 1 Makassar City is quite often rather than audio media. This is because visual media is more helpful for teachers in visualizing their explanations, then the use of audiovisual media is sometimes only on a few occasions or. In the use of auidiovisual media, teachers often provide spectacles such as movies, cartoons, or video clips related to learning.

Abstract

Online learning was initially used to facilitate students so they could study from home when the Covid-19 outbreak hit. Currently, everyone is getting used to online learning, and many institutions are starting to provide learning, one of which is Annajm Academy. However, there are many obstacles faced when learning online, among them, students often feel bored because their learning only focuses on looking at the screen. To make learning more interesting, interesting and varied learning media are available to support learning. This research aims to find out how much benefit technology-based teaching media has in supporting Arabic language learning at Annajm Academy. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods with the Miles and Huberman method in data analysis. The results obtained from this research are that there are several learning media used during Arabic language learning at Annajm Academy, including charts, YouTube videos, PowerPoint, online games and quizzes, and zoom as the main learning media. All of these media complement each other so that they can support learning to be more communicative even though it is carried out online.

Abstract

Whether it is recognized or not, Islamic boarding schools are the oldest educational institutions that have been attached to the journey of Indonesian life since hundreds of years ago and have made many significant contributions to the development of this nation, so it is not surprising that education experts such as Ki Hajar Dewantoro and Dr. Soetomo once aspired to the Islamic boarding school education system model as a national education model. For them, the pesantren education model is an intelligent creation of Indonesian culture that has character and should be maintained and developed. Because many things have not been explored from the education of traditional Islamic boarding schools in the perspective of Indonesian Islamic education, this research was conducted. Specifically, this study aims to describe Traditional Islamic Boarding School Education in the Perspective of Indonesian Islamic Education, describe the vision and mission of traditional Islamic boarding school education, describe the traditional Islamic boarding school education curriculum, and describe the management of traditional Islamic boarding school education The results of this study show (1) that in the perspective of Indonesian Islamic education, traditional Islamic boarding school education is a part of the Separate from national education that provides enlightenment for students integrally, both cognitive (knowlagde), affective (attucude) and psychomotor (skill), (2) That the vision and mission of traditional Islamic boarding school education in the perspective of Indonesian Islamic education are: First, emphasizing the principles of asasul khomsah or five souls, namely sincerity, simplicity, independence, ukuwah islamiyah and freedom. Second, the pattern of kiai relations with students is not only physical, but also inward. Third, Islamic boarding school education, in addition to being directed at the transmission of Islamic knowledge, the maintenance of Islamic traditions and the reproduction of ulama', is also intended to be an alternative for People centered development, Value oriented development, Institution development and Self reliance and sustainability. (3) That the current traditional Islamic boarding school education curriculum does not only focus on our classic books (read: religious science), but also includes more and more general subjects and skills, currently in Islamic boarding school education the science is starting to be unpopular. (4) In terms of institutional management, in the current traditional Islamic boarding school educational institutions, there has been a fundamental change, namely from centralistic, hierarchical and tendency to single fighter leadership to a collective management model such as the foundation model. The recommendations in this study are (1) because the role of traditional Islamic boarding school educational institutions is very important in answering the spiritual crisis of modern humans, or at least as a balance to the tendency of hedonistic lifestyles and dishonesty, its existence needs to receive more serious support from all parties. (2) Because human success is more determined by EQ and SQ factors, while SQ is the main aspect that is the focus of traditional Islamic boarding school education, it is recommended to all parties to continue to develop heart education in order to obtain true life success. (3)Because the educational activities of traditional Islamic boarding schools since its inception have been able to develop positively in society and even have a vital contribution not only in the theological dimension but also social as the main locomotive in the enlightenment of the community, then of course it is a treasure and national wealth that should be preserved in this beloved archipelago
